How are you holding up with the new year coming around? New year, new semester. The kids are trying to kick into getting back to work. I love that it takes about a couple of weeks for them to get used to homework again before they get another school break or day off. @mcteofuentes

What: Volunteer Week
Where: State Park
Who: Mekelah Reddy & @mcteofuentes
Mekelah adjusted her baseball cap that she had effectively swiped out of her husband's collection before kissing him goodbye for the day. She made sure to slop on some extra sunscreen, throw on her hiking boots (which needed to see more light of day), so she made sure to head out to the state park. "Hey, Teo!" she waved, seeing a familiar face.

Would anyone want a conncetion with pedro pascal?
Hello there!
Oh my gosh, yes -- we would love to see Pedro Pascal on our dash, he'd be so much fun to see in the group. Some wanted connections that I could see him fitting are:
Mateo Fuentes / Oscar Isaac -- ex-partner.
Spencer Lawrence / Daniel Henney -- ex-partner.
Amina Zaidi / Sofia Boutella -- ex-spouse.
Darrius Powell / Aldis Hodge -- mentor.
pretty much any of our open career connections!
Aleja Alverez / Gina Torres -- previous sperm donor.
Chetan Gupta / Dev Patel -- D&D party members.
If there are any other connections (listed or unlisted!) that anyone could see filled, please feel free to chime in! But I can promise that Pedro would be super loved here, I hope you'll join us! xx

Yes! Lots of things to do and look forward to this summer. I’m pretty stoked. I remember that too! Those were fun times. And then having to wait to get the picture developed? Now you can see it already before printing it out, but I think that can also be a positive, you know, to make sure it looks good before actually printing it out or sending it. I had those, the disposable ones, right? And then I’d end up forgetting them somewhere or losing them at some point. I have a summer session later on this summer to teach, but mostly it’ll be getting to relax a little bit, finding something for Lily to do over her summer vacation.
That's good! And even more so that summer is coming up, you'll have more time to do things. Oh, I get you on that! I remember having to go to Walmart to wait to get my picture developed and now people can just print them off from their phone. I have always loved how tangible photo albums are. Because you can pass those down, but with phones I feel like it's harder to keep track of. I do think Kodak single cameras are coming back into style, though. Got any plans for June?

Who would you rather? Hannah Waddingham, Michelle Gomez, Raquel Cassidy or Katherine Kelly (and if you have any wcs you think they'd fit I'd love that)
Hey there, anon!
Ooh, that's a tough decision, as I think that any of those face claims would be so much fun to have on dash! I'm a sucker for older muses, as we have quite a few, and it makes for some fun interactions when the 'parents' come out to play, so to speak. I think my eyes lit up the most with Hannah Waddingham, but you can't go wrong with any of them, I promise you.
As for wanted connections, totally depends on where you want to go with that! Mateo Fuentes' ex-partner would be an option, as well as Spencer Lawrence's ex-partner. I think they both prefer someone in their 40s, so you have some wiggle room. Honestly, a lot of our career connections work! A lawyer or real estate agent at Bardales Inc., an eccentric artist working and teaching at The Color Wine, maybe the head of surgery? I also think you could have some fun with like... making her a random roommate of Xander Stone's, since most of the people in the house are 20-30!
I hope something there helps, and I hope that you'll join us, we'd love to have you! xx

Would anyone want a connection with a Crystal Reed fc? If so, where do you think she could fit?
Hi there, anon!
I absolutely think that Crystal would be loved on our dash -- I know a few of our writers are Teen Wolf fans! And Crystal has so many pretty resources, too.
I can see her as a local returning to town after trying to find herself, or maybe coming back to take over a family business. Someone who was destined for something bigger. Or maybe the opposite, where everyone thought she would wander off and she ended up making a happy life in a small town. As for some wanted connections, I would maybe suggest:
an adopted Lawrence sibling.
Wesley James's daughter's mother. (if aged down a bit!)
Cage Newman's ex-wife.
one of Chloe Nwokobia's best friends.
lawyer or realtor at Bardales Inc.
a fellow hacker friend of Fallon Harris.
a housemate of Stelly Carter, Miranda Hartman or Xander Stone.
babysitter turned nanny for Mateo Fuentes.
a member of Alec Jacobs' band.
You can have a look through our other wanted connections, as well! If none of them fit, please don't hesitate to just throw her at us, I promise she will be plotted and interacted with and well loved no matter what, we'd love to have her! xx

Yeah! Got some time to do a bit more at home. After grading papers and doing some planning, it was nice to get that extra time as well. And thankfully there were not too many meetings! The old photo albums take up a lot of space. Now everything is digital! It is so different nowadays because physical pictures aren’t trendy anymore. Those I really don’t want to get rid of. I want to keep them just for future reference and memories to bring up. Haha, our kids will have keepsakes! I have, been out and about and also at the library. It’s been fun. @mcteofuentes
That makes sense! With spring break, were you able to get around to it? I know that for teachers this time of year is pretty hectic with all of the tests and making sure students are where they need to be. I feel you, though! I know I put it on my to-do list, but I keep pushing it back. Yeah, the photo albums and pictures definitely fill the void of getting rid of those types of belongings. I may or may not have put some stuff in the attic for safe keeping. Yeah, green beer is very odd! Luckily, it's only for St. Patrick's Day. Happy to have seen you there! Have you went out to volunteer yet?

Not quite. That is something I plan to do once spring break comes. Everything's been a bit busy with classes, and then activities after school. I feel like I've fallen behind! What about you? Oh dear. I know what you mean. Stuffed animals, clothes, lots of baby things. I've got lots of pictures of her with them, so it's okay, I suppose. Mm, it was very strange, maybe I was thinking too much about the fact that it's green. I'll be at the egg dyeing, yes! Lily wants to go, so we'll be there. That sounds like fun! So we will see you both there, then.
Have you finished your spring cleaning yet? I know I've been finishing up getting all of my boxes to the thrift shops, but I've had a hard time parting with some stuffed animals that I got for Marisol when she was a toddler. I know she's okay with giving them away. Somehow I'm not, though, which is funny. Yeah, that green beer was not the best tasting thing in the world. Ah, so I take it that you won't be at Tumbleweed tomorrow? Will you be doing the egg dyeing instead? I think I'll be doing both, something for me and then the egg dyeing will be for Marisol.

Yes! Absolutely. That's the important part. Making sure at least some part of our lives makes sense and has some sort of organization to it. I've been cleaning up too, getting rid of some of Lily's old clothes that she's definitely outgrown and things she won't wear anymore. It was a fun party, one shot of green beer is enough to last me a lifetime. I'm not so much of a beer girl anyway.
Yes, she is! I think we all have some kind of guidelines we set for ourselves that we all break, so I guess it's not too surprising to see her not following all of the rules she's made. I think so, too. And now since we're fully into spring, I think I'm going to really get to it. I've just got to get the totes ready to go so I can donate anything I don't need. I stayed back at The Garden, too! Really enjoyed the event there. Agreed, as much as I love beer, only a small dose of that green beer was enough for me to avoid it for the rest of the night.

It is! So it was a pretty fun time. Oh, I don't know if anyone enjoys cleaning, but it has to be done. So I do it as soon as I can so that I don't have to worry about it later. And just getting it over with. Sounds like fun! I did! I went to the library and helped out with one of the volunteers there. We did a reading-and-signing tagteam.
So a win-win for everyone involved! You got to see them play their sports and they got to watch you in your plays. Wow, I hate cleaning so I commend you for that. Usually I avoid it until it has to be done. Pretty much the same! Ate a bunch before I was too exhausted to do anything else. Are you planning anything for Read Across America?

Mostly I was in theater. I watched my friends do their sports! And they went to my shows, so it was pretty cool. Now I spend a lot of my free time reading... or cleaning. It just depends. Me too, I had an early day the next day but I still got to have some fun! Ate some good food, hung out for a bit. How about you?
Do you have any other hobbies that you just grew up with? Or ones that you acquired over the years? I can see that! Sometimes you just can't help but let your mind wander, you know? I'm just glad I wasn't hungover or anything afterwards. Not that I drank a lot at the event, but you know. Did you go to any of the Mardi Gras events?

Then it's kinda in your blood, and you just take on a natural leaning towards it. Mhmm. Me too. I never wanted to just go back for a day or two and then it would be the weekend! Usually most of us were distracted and wouldn't really pay attention either. Same with the teachers sometimes too. Oh, yep, luckily, with everyone dancing around, it's not as cold!
It makes it easier too when you've got people in the family who love it and did it just like you. Exactly! Kind of like second nature at this point, like it's always been apart of you. I bet! Oh, how I could relate to that. I never liked going back to school after a snow day, either. Speaking of all the snow, are you going to be treading through it for singles night?

It was really great. I come from a line of actors, so this is something I’ve just always loved. I haven’t, but I’ve worked with some teachers to incorporate some sign language into their productions if a few simple vocabulary words come up. Usually they’re school age projects. It’s been a good week! My daughter’s been extra busy with school and after school activities.
You're welcome! Oh, that seems like it was a really good way for you to do what you loved and getting to be creative. Have you ever thought of doing any plays in town? The food had to be my favorite part of the whole Gala, not that everything else wasn't great, I just am a big fan of food and all you can eat buffets. The band was really great! How has your week been so far?

Okay, true. And you know... to a point where it becomes their whole life, revolving around cleaning. It does help to get things done and out of the way right away. And then you can focus on other things! My week has been pretty good, doing a lot of grading. How about you?
You never know! I know there are plenty of people who enjoy seeing their place clean or because it helps them take their mind off of things. But you're right - the sooner you get it it done, the sooner you don't have to think about it. That's amazing! I'm sure it was nice for the kids to have you there to help out. How has your week been?

It is! I love all the stories that come back to me once my students have found a way to apply their skills. Actually, I always wanted to be an actress. And I got to do that for a while, but I do love being a teacher now. Thank you! So do you. Very dapper. Enjoying the party?
I bet it’s very rewarding to see them grow in their studies and to see them take all that they’ve learned out into the real world. Have you always wanted to be a teacher? Me too, time is moving way too fast. I can tell you that much. By the way, you look impeccable tonight!

She’s the Happily Organized Lady right? I can only imagine she has her own rules and then there are times when she doesn’t want to make everything super perfect. Spring cleaning, I can handle. It makes everything feel lighter and happier and much better. I made it to The Garden! I don’t know if I’ll do the pub crawl, I think one shot of green beer is enough for me.
Exactly! And I know there are people who watched Marie Kondo's work and started getting into it because of her. But even she said that she doesn't follow all of her own rules, so it's always interesting to see people make cleaning their whole personality. I've gotta do some spring cleaning on me end, so I've been getting ready to take a day off to do just that. That's good! Pretty much the same, though. A lot busy, minus the grading. Are you going to any of the events tonight?
