Divisional Charts in Vedic Astrology
Tumblr media
Hi guys! How are you? I'm good and I hope you are too. So, this will be another post about Vedic astrology. I wanted to post this blog yesterday, but I was so tired for no damn reason. Also, thank you for liking my post about the nakshatras. I didn't expect it to do this well. This will be finally a bigger post after a couple of days ago. Hope you'll find it interesting.
Divisional charts are multiple charts in Vedic astrology which represent various things in our life. Each divisional chart analyses particular thing in our life, such as money, marriage, career, education, spirituality, strengths and weakness, our relationships with our siblings, children, parents etc. There's overall 16 divisional charts that are considered as the most important ones and I'm gonna explain in this post each of these divisional charts individually.
Rasi Chart (D1) - This is the most important chart in Vedic astrology and is basically the actual birth chart of ours. It is also called as Lagna Chart and Lagna means Ascendant. This is the type of chart where the Ascendant is always placed (or we can also say that it's fixed) in the 1st house and it represents our physical world and our overall life path in general.
Hora Chart (D2) - This divisional chart is related with the 2nd house and it represents our financial status, family wealth and how we can make money in this lifetime. There's only two signs in this chart, Cancer and Leo and both of these planets are ruled by the luminaries (the Moon and the Sun), meaning that there's a spiritual way (Moon Hora) and a creative way (Sun Hora) to make money.
Drekkana Chart (D3) - This chart is associated with the 3rd house and it represents our siblings and how we interact with them. If you don't have any sibling on your family, then this divisional chart can represent your inner world and your type of personality that you may hide from the other people in general.
Chaturthamsa Chart (D4) - Of course, this chart is related with the 4th house as well. It can represent our foundations, fortune and inherited property from our family. From my perspective, this divisional chart is also associated with our living place, childhood and our private life.
Saptamsa Chart (D7) - Since it's related with the 5th house, this chart represents our progeny, children and how we interact with them. We can see both luck and misfortune our children might experience. It can also represent our procreative energy, spiritual beliefs and our creative abilities.
Navamsa Chart (D9) - This is mostly the most important or the most popular divisional chart in Vedic astrology. Well, this chart represents our love life, marriage and our life path at the older years of our life. The placements from this chart may become more relevant to us after we turn 25. You can book a reading of this divisional chart individually with me.
Dasamsa Chart (D10) - This chart is related with the 10th house and Saturn, which means that it represents our career path, profession, how we interact with our work environment and our public image. It can show which kind of career is the most suitable for us so we can achieve success in our field. Again, this is another divisional chart that you can book a reading with me individually.
Dwadasamsa Chart (D12) - This divisional chart represents our parents and how we interact with them. It can also represent how our parents influenced our childhood and upbringing, the financial status of our parents and what we can inherit from our parents.
Shodasamsa Chart (D16) - I mostly hear that this chart represents our vehicles or which type of vehicles are the most suitable for us. We can use this divisional chart to see how we seek pleasure and comfort in life and how we connect with the money, since this chart is related with the 11th house.
Vimsamsa Chart (D20) - This divisional chart is connected with spirituality, so it represents how we approach to spiritual pursuits and religious activities. It can also represent our philosophical identity and growth of our spirituality in our life.
ChaturVimsamsa Chart (D24) - This chart is related to our educational path, learning abilities and how knowledgeable we are. If you want to know which college degrees are the most suitable for you, this divisional is great to analyze then.
SaptaVimsamsa Chart (D27) - This divisional chart is associated with our strengths and weaknesses, our what we are good at it and what we lack. This chart is not really used often.
Trimsamsa Chart (D30) - You'll possibly hear that this chart is about evils. By saying that, it can mean that this divisional chart can show which type of hardships, diseases and misfortunes we might experience in our life. This chart is also associated with the enemies, since it's related with the 6th house.
KhaVedamsa Chart (D40) - It can represent our karmic bond or relationship with our mother or with our ancestors This divisional chart can show our both auspicious and inauspicious effects in our charts or in relationships with out ancestors.
AkshaVedamsa Chart (D45) - This divisional is also not used often, 'cause its interpretation is so general. It can represent our character moral and ethical values. It's also about our karmic patterns from our father of from other ancestors.
Shastiamsa Chart (D60) - I find this divisional chart as one of the most heard and one of the most important charts in Vedic astrology. It can show our karma from our past life and our overall life path from this current incarnation.

Alright, this could the the end of another astrological post. Let me know in the comment section what do you think about this topic. And if you want to know more about any of your divisional chart, you can book a Mini Sidereal Chart Reading on my site. See you soon!

🌟 Massive Fame in Astrology 🌟
I decided to compile in a short note information concerning fame on a massive scale per KRS Youtube channel observations.
Tumblr media
Key points: Rahu and Venus
Where? 5th/7th/10th Houses
Just in D1? Nope, also in D9 (Navamsa) and D10 (Dasamsa)
Venus specifically in Magha Nakshatra which is in Leo and/or in 5th house are big fame indicators, and even more so for those interested or working in the entertainment world.
Any of these two planets in the 7th or 10th will amplify your control over the masses. Venus does it through charm and grace, whereas Rahu does it through being cunning and innovative.
Extra:
Arudha Lagna (AL) has also been mentioned by him in other fame related videos. This point shows your social status, how you appear to others, possibility of fame, illusory perception of the self from others.
He mentioned that if AL has any planet present in its 1st, 7th from itself or possibly even 10th from itself, then during the MD/AD period of any of those planets (emphasis on 1st/7th axis planets in AL chart) it will “explode” the fame of the native. You will become known for whatever the trait of those planets have even after death. This could be for good or for bad depending on the strength of the planet (by sign or aspects).
AL conjunct Moon, so basically your AL sign matching your Moon sign also signifies popularity as well! Affliction from 7H could impact it but it will be there nonetheless.
If you’d like to know the details for every planet, click here and view the main video of these notes from KRS.
You can calculate your AL in here 🌟 Also, please keep in mind that there are some exceptions to how it is calculated. AL cannot fall 1st or 7th from itself, so if it does, you must count again the same amount of placed your ASC lord is sitting from ASC. Read further online for further details and explanations!
If you’d like to know how likely massive fame could be for you and to learn further about the type of fame or reputation you could acquire through life, request a reading via DM!

Planetary aspects in Vedic Astrology
In Vedic astrology (Jyotish), there is a term called "Drishti", or planetary aspects, which are important in determining how planets influence different houses and each other within a birth chart.
Drishti means "sight" or "gaze" (sans.)
Drishti represents the way a planet radiates its influence on certain parts of the horoscope. The effect can be benefic (positive) or malefic (negative), depending on the nature and placement of the planet casting the aspect.
Types of Drishti:
Full (primary) aspects:
All planets make an aspect on the 7th house from their position in a natal chart
Special Aspects (Bhava Drishti):
Some planets have additional special aspects that extend beyond solely the 7th house.
Planetary Aspects:
Sun, Moon, Mercury, Venus + Rahu (lunar node)
Note: Ketu being a "tail of a demon" doesn't make any aspects.
7th House Aspect: These planets (and nodes) only aspect the house directly opposite them (7th house from their position)
Mars in addition to the 7th house (full aspect), aspects:
The 4th house from its position
The 8th house from its position
Jupiter in addition to the 7th house (full aspect), aspects:
The 5th house from its position
The 9th house from its position
Saturn in addition to the 7th house (full aspect), aspects:
The 3rd house from its position
The 10th house from its position
Note: some Jyotish schools and traditions (e.g., Southern tradition) accept additional aspects of Rahu to:
The 5th house from its position
The 9th house from its position
Effects of Aspects:
Benefic Planets: Benefic planets like Jupiter and Venus usually have positive influences on the houses they aspect, promoting growth, harmony, and fortune. Note: benefic planets making an aspect on a malefic planet can mitigate full negative effects coming from a malefic planet in a birth chart.
Malefic Planets: Malefic planets like Mars and Saturn + lunar nodes typically exert challenging influences, indicating obstacles, discipline, detachments, obsessions and generally transformative experiences.
Additional Considerations:
Functional Nature: Depending on the ascendant, planets may act as functional benefics or malefics. This affects how their aspects are interpreted.
Aspects in Divisional Charts: Aspects in divisional charts (Vargas) like Navamsa (D9), Dasamsa (D10) or any other varga offer deeper insights into specific life areas.
Conjunctions: When planets are in the same house, they conjoin, and their combined energy influences the house and its signification.
Examples of Aspects:
Mars in the 1st House:
4th House Aspect: Mars impacts home life, relationship with a homeland, mother, sense of inner happiness and satisfaction. Mars impacts real estate and maternal relationships.
7th House Aspect: Mars affects partnerships, marriage, public and business interactions.
8th House Aspect: Mars influences transformations, occult matters, and joint finances.
Jupiter in the 5th House:
9th House Aspect: Jupiter promotes and fosters higher learning, spirituality, fortune and long-distance travels.
11th House Aspect: Jupiter enhances social circles, friendships, and gains from large networks.
1st House Aspect: Jupiter positively influences personality, health, and overall life.
Impact on Houses:
Aspect on the 1st House (Lagna): Influences self-image, health, and overall personality.
Aspect on the 4th House: Affects home environment, mother, and domestic comfort.
Aspect on the 7th House: Impacts marriage, partnerships, and public life.
Aspect on the 10th House: Influences career, social status, and public reputation.

Greetings,
Your post for 10th and the MC was very helpful but if you can also make a post on how the ascendent in vedic astrology can have a influence in 10th house or D-10 chart
Understanding the Ascendant (Lagna)
The Ascendant is the zodiac sign that was rising on the eastern horizon at the time of your birth. It represents your outward personality, physical appearance, and overall approach to life. It plays a crucial role in shaping your life path, including your career, which is prominently indicated by the 10th house.
Influence in the D-10 Chart:
The D-10 chart, or Dasamsa, is specifically used to analyze one’s career and professional achievements. It is derived from the main natal chart by dividing each sign into ten equal parts (each of 3 degrees).
The placement of the Ascendant in the D-10 chart (Dasamsa Lagna) provides insights into your professional life and how your personality traits influence your career path.
2. How the Ascendant Influences the 10th House and D-10 Chart
Ascendant Sign in the D-10 Chart: The sign that is on the Ascendant in the D-10 chart reflects the nature of your professional persona. For instance, if the Ascendant in the D-10 chart is Leo, you might be seen as a natural leader or someone who thrives in roles that allow you to be in the spotlight.
The traits associated with your Ascendant sign often influence your career choices and how you approach your professional life. For example, if your Ascendant is Virgo, you might excel in careers requiring precision, analysis, and organization.
Planetary Influence:
Ascendant Ruler (Lagna Lord): The placement of the ruler of your Ascendant sign in the D-10 chart can provide additional insights into your professional potential. For instance, if the ruler of your Ascendant is well-placed in the D-10 chart, it can indicate strong career prospects and professional success.
Aspects and Conjunctions: The aspects and conjunctions of planets to the Ascendant in the D-10 chart also influence career outcomes. Benefic aspects can enhance professional growth, while malefic aspects might pose challenges.
The 10th house in the D-10 chart indicates career and public image. The sign on the 10th house cusp and planets placed in or aspecting this house provide details about your professional field and potential success.
The relationship between the Ascendant in the D-10 chart and the 10th house can reveal how well your inherent qualities align with your career path. A strong and supportive connection between the Ascendant and the 10th house can enhance career prospects.
If your Ascendant is Taurus in your main chart, and in the D-10 chart, Taurus is also rising or has a strong influence, you might find yourself gravitating towards careers related to finance, real estate, or beauty, aligning with Taurus' attributes of stability and sensuality.
If your Ascendant is Sagittarius, and in the D-10 chart, Jupiter (the ruler of Sagittarius) is well-placed, you might excel in professions involving teaching, travel, or higher education, reflecting Sagittarius' expansive and adventurous nature.
I hope this helps! ♥️

Importance of Amatyakaraka Planet in Career & profession
About the significance of the Amatyakaraka planet in Vedic astrology, I frequently get questions. Several people inquire about the Venus outcome as if it were Mars, Saturn, or Amatyakaraka. Thus I made the decision to share some facts with you about Amatyakaraka in various homes and its function in careers and professions.
Let's first learn the fundamentals about the amatyakaraka planet before discussing the function it plays in careers. Every planet, as far as we know, has some significance. Moon, for instance, represents the mind, Mars, the brother, etc. Yet, there are two different kinds of significance in astrology: Fixed Significance and Dynamic Significance. When it comes to fixed significance, each planet's meanings are set for each horoscope.
It stays the same. While in the case of dynamic significance, each horoscope changes what each planet represents. Sun, for instance, represents the Atma or Soul. It's been fixed. The planet with the highest degree in a birth chart, however, will represent the Atma or Soul in cases where dynamic importance is present. They are referred to as Chara Karaka. Chara signifies moving or dynamic.
Atmakaraka Planet is the planet with the highest degree in a birth chart. The King of the Horoscope comparison. It can be compared to our birth chart's Lagna. The planet known as amatyakaraka receives the highest degree after Atmakaraka.
Importance of the Amatyakaraka Planet
Let's now talk about the significance of the Amatyakaraka Planet (AmK). When compared to Atmakaraka Planet (AK), Amatyakaraka Planet might be referred to as the Minister of the Horoscope. A minister will always make recommendations to the king, who uses the minister to carry out his directives. So, it is the planet that Atmakaraka is using to try to grant his request. Because of this, it is crucial to choose a career and profession.
Karma or action is the main focus of Amatyakaraka Planet.
Amatyakaraka is someone the King trusts and who he seeks out for guidance. As a result, it has been said that the relationship between AK and AmK is the Raj yoga of First Order. If it is powerful and dignified, it can carry out the soul's or Atma's command. It is comparable to our birth chart's second or tenth lord. Strong 10th and 2nd lords are crucial for the native people's survival. Also, it is necessary for all forms of honours and recognition.
For a more accurate evaluation of a career, the D10 divisional chart's Dasamsa Chart is checked. Amatyakaraka is a very significant planet in the D10 chart. The time period of this or the signs dominated by the amatyakaraka planet during the Chara Dasha is crucial for determining the most advantageous time for career advancement.
To draw any conclusions, in addition to looking at the Amatyakaraka Planet, we must also look at the 10th Lord of the D1 chart, the Atmakaraka Planet's placement in the D9 chart, and other factors. The mixtures must be perfectly blended. To learn about the significance of the Navamsa chart in our professional lives, watch this video. This Hindi video is available. As a result, knowing Hindi will be helpful to you.
Career Profession by different Amatyakaraka Planet
Amatyakaraka Sun: Sun as the Amatyakaraka in a chart occupies the second-highest degree, behind the Atmakaraka. Sun is a symbol for authority, self-respect, and other things. So, Amatyakaraka Sun will attempt to highlight a career in a horoscope by highlighting planets that are connected to it. Despite the circumstance, Amatyakaraka Sun will decide the profession or vocation of the individual. Sun in Amk can lead to a career as a government employee, administrative assistant, magistrate, doctor, politician, or teacher, among other professions.Sun was Amk in Franklin Roosevelt's astrological horoscope. Amatyakaraka Sun and 10th Lord Venus were in the 10th house. Even though Venus was in the 10th house, Amatyakaraka Sun nevertheless chose the career of politics. Sun was also a great political figurehead for Lal Bahadur Shastri.
We always advise using a composite technique, in which the Parashari Technique and the Jaimini Technique are both applied, to get any career-related conclusions.
Amatyakaraka Moon: When Moon becomes Amatyakaraka, Moon will largely determine her job or occupation. Moon is a symbol for Mind. Hence, Amatyakaraka Moon will reveal careers in the fields of philosophy, spirituality, and business dealing with liquids, among others. Amatyakaraka Moon may provide business relating to Ladies product as Moon also signifies women or Ladies. Together with Amatyakaraka Moon, big bureaucrats can be found.
Swami Vivekananda's Amatyakaraka Moon and Saturn were in harmony in the tenth house. Amatyakaraka Moon was present in the charts of Sri Prabhupad, Arobindo Ghosh, Sai Baba, and other notable figures. So, we can infer that the amatyakaraka Moon in the chart is excellent for spiritual growth
Amatyakaraka Mars: When Amatyakaraka Mars appears in a birth chart, it indicates that the person is most suited for any type of military employment. Mars is the planet's Army commander. It is bursting with vigour. Amatyakaraka Mars so seeks to channel that energy into his or her work. A native with amatyakaraka Mars can work in the fields of engineering, law enforcement, the military, medicine, and investigation, among others.
Amatyakaraka Mercury: Amatyakaraka Mercury predicts careers in business, education, and other fields such as teachers, clerks, and auditors. Mercury is the planet of logic, analysis, and mathematics. Hence, if a person has a strong Amatyakaraka Mercury, he or she can succeed as a scientist, lawyer, and other professions. It is also known as the Planet of Communication. Good marketing executives have a similar impact.
Amatyakaraka Jupiter: Jupiter is known as Amatyakaraka, the planet of knowledge, religion, and other lofty ideals. As a result, amatyakaraka Jupiter may imply a career as a teacher, professor, scholar, priest, or other type of religious leader. Jupiter can also represent money. Thus, Amatyakaraka Jupiter can also grant the profession of banking.
Amatyakaraka Venus: Venus is the most significant planet in the modern world. Because Venus controls the most of the materialistic items we want to possess. A strong and unharmed Venus is therefore a huge blessing. Amatyakaraka Venus can offer careers in the arts, including acting, singing, and other creative fields. It may also lead to a career in graphic design, fashion design, web design, etc. Indira Gandhi and Rajiv Gandhi are two prominent politicians that have powerful Amatyakaraka Venus in their natal charts.
Amatyakaraka Saturn: Saturn is said to represent work that requires a lot of effort, repetition, and service to the community, among other things. As a result, when Amatyakaraka Saturn is strong, a person may become a clerk, government employee, social worker, etc. It serves as the planet of justice. Hence, a person with Amatyakaraka Saturn can make an excellent judge or legal officer. Masses are also indicated. Hence, Amatyakaraka Saturn may signify a mass leader.
Excellent intelligence is given by its placement in Kendra(1,4,7,10) from Lagna. The Raj Yoga that results when this planet is in Kendra from the Atmakaraka Planet causes the native to begin employing his or her intelligence at a young age. It produces a Raja Yoga if it is positioned in the tenth house or with the tenth lord.

ketu is in shatabhisha in d1, in d10 it becomes ascendant? How to interpret this also.
When Ketu is in Shatabhisha in the D1 (Lagna) chart and becomes the ascendant in the D10 (Dasamsa) chart, it suggests a significant influence of Ketu on your professional life and career direction. Here’s how to interpret this combination:
1. Ketu in Shatabhisha (D1 Chart):
Nakshatra of Shatabhisha: Ruled by Rahu, Shatabhisha is associated with healing, research, and hidden knowledge. It has a mystical and sometimes isolating energy.
Ketu's Nature: Ketu represents detachment, spiritual knowledge, past life karmas, and unexpected changes. In Shatabhisha, Ketu’s energies can amplify the themes of isolation, healing, and a deep interest in occult or mystical subjects.
Impact: This placement might indicate a person who is naturally inclined toward spiritual pursuits, research, or healing professions. Ketu in Shatabhisha can make you introspective and give a strong desire to understand the deeper aspects of life. There might be a tendency to seek solitude or distance from worldly affairs.
2. Ketu as the Ascendant in D10 Chart:
Ascendant in D10: The ascendant in the D10 chart represents your approach to your career, how you present yourself in professional life, and your overall career path.
Ketu’s Influence as Ascendant: When Ketu becomes the ascendant in the D10, it suggests that your career may have an unconventional path. You might face sudden changes or disruptions in your career, leading you towards a more spiritual or non-materialistic direction. There could be periods of withdrawal from active professional life, or you might be involved in fields related to spirituality, research, or healing.
Professional Life: The influence of Ketu as the ascendant in D10 might indicate a career where you prefer to work behind the scenes rather than in the spotlight. It can also indicate a career where you deal with abstract or non-tangible subjects.
3. Combined Interpretation:
Spiritual Career Path: The combination of Ketu in Shatabhisha in D1 and as the ascendant in D10 points towards a career that may have a spiritual or healing dimension. You might be drawn to professions like astrology, healing, research, or any field that involves uncovering hidden truths.
Challenges and Transformation: There may be challenges in establishing a stable career, with periods of significant change or transformation. However, these challenges often lead to spiritual growth and a deeper understanding of your life's purpose.
Detachment from Material Gains: Ketu’s influence might make you less concerned with material success and more focused on the intangible rewards of your work. You may find satisfaction in helping others or in the pursuit of knowledge rather than in material achievements.
This combination suggests a unique and potentially spiritually significant career path, with a strong inclination towards research, healing, or mystical fields.

HI ITS ME AGAIN!! i can give a small crash course on vedic astro if that’s okay! so vedic astro is traditionally used in indian astrology and has multiple levels to it (like charts)
in vedic, for example if your sun sign in tropical is libra, it’ll be virgo in vedic (which is why some ppl often relate to both these zodiacs, tho vedic is ur actual birth chart so it def makes sense)
d1 is like your main birth chart
d9 is for your marriage, it shows our midlife; 30+ years and our married life. it’s typically activated in our 30s or after marriage. basically when we mature, our personalities /behaviours tend to change quite a bit too & so it shows thru this chart
use this as a tool to understand your chart in d9! https://m.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLpoShQeOSbzhvOBjkpIONnNgF4_tnr1ot
calculator : https://www.prokerala.com/astrology/birth-chart/navamsa-chart.php
d10 solely based on and around your career, it’s got a direct or indirect impact on our education, profession & finances
you can use this as a tool : https://m.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLpoShQeOSbzid21sO4-76g4Er06MvKyMj
to calculate https://www.cosmicsquares.com/free-horoscope/dasamsa-chart
d60 (changes every 2 mins), it’s more based on your karmic & spiritual lessons however it is also used in career + the accumulated karmas from past lives that are influencing the current life.
here’s what nakshatras are in easy words : each sign has 3 naks (like 3 faces of the a moon)
- for example : scorpio
has a one third of the vishakha (im a scorpio hence, my nak in vedic is vishakha as it’s the sign above scorpio but it’s still in the range of a scorpio, if that makes sense?) nakshatra, entire anuradha nak and entire jyestha nak (usually those who have a sag sun in tropical have a jyestha sun (scorp sun) in vedic)
types of naks :
https://www.astrosage.com/nakshatra/ (27 in total i think!)
here’s a wheel to make it easier for u to visualize : like i mentioned, each sign as three sections
https://www.rudraksha-ratna.com/articles/nakshatras
now u must be wondering that when u do ur vedic chart calculator (use this one as it’ll show u ur naks and padas : https://www.vedicastrology.us.com/index.php/about-mickey/about-vedic-astrology/calculate-your-vedic-astrology-chart)
you’ll wonder what “padas” are, they can be explained as if they are stages. so there’s 4 pada’s to everyone (if u look close enough, the padas for each nak basically is ur d9 chart signs)
i think this is getting pretty long so i found a more informative intro post to Vedic Astro, so i hope it helps!!
https://www.tumblr.com/itscupidsaki/655722778267451392/introduction-to-vedic-astrology
Ohh that's super interesting! One of my colleague here helped me and draw the charts for me because I wasn't sure how to do, so here is the d1 and d9 ^^tho it's super interesting and I hope to learn more about it :)

Decoding Destiny: Exploring the Depths of Dashamsha (D10) Chart
In the vast tapestry of Vedic astrology, the Dashamsha (D10) chart stands out as a powerful tool for unraveling the intricacies of one's professional life and destiny. This specialized divisional chart, also known as the Dasamsa or the 10th harmonic chart, provides profound insights into the individual's career, reputation, and overall path in life.
The Foundation of Dashamsha: A Brief Overview
The Dashamsha chart is derived from the broader birth chart, where each sign is divided into ten equal parts. This divisional chart specifically focuses on the 10th house of the main birth chart, which is associated with one's profession, social status, and reputation. As the saying goes, "Karma is Dharma," and Dashamsha is the lens through which we examine the karmic imprints manifesting in our professional lives.
Key Elements in Dashamsha Analysis
Planetary Placements:
The positioning of planets in the Dashamsha chart holds the key to understanding the dynamics of one's career. Each planet signifies different aspects of professional life, and their placements in specific houses provide nuanced insights. For instance, a strong placement of the Sun may indicate a successful and authoritative career, while a well-placed Mercury could suggest proficiency in communication and commerce.
Occupations and Professions:
Dashamsha is invaluable in pinpointing the most suitable and fulfilling career paths. The combinations of planets and signs in this chart offer clues about the individual's inherent talents, interests, and the areas where they are likely to excel professionally. Analyzing the 10th house lord and its relationship with other planets can reveal the individual's vocational inclinations.
Yogas and Combinations:
Specific planetary combinations, or yogas, in Dashamsha play a pivotal role in shaping the professional landscape. Yogas such as Raja Yoga (indicating leadership roles), Dhan Yoga (signifying wealth and success), and Bhagya Yoga (related to fortune) can be identified to understand the potential for career elevation and financial prosperity.
Transits and Timing:

Vargas: Unraveling Hindu Astrology’s Tapestry
Tumblr media
In the vast tapestry of Hindu astrology, there exists a profound and intricate tool that unveils the nuances of one’s life journey: the divisional charts, or Vargas. Like a cosmic kaleidoscope, these Vargas provide a deeper understanding of the complexities that shape our destinies. Let’s embark on a journey to explore the significance of Vargas and how they enrich the tapestry of Hindu astrology.
Know more Vargas: Hindu Astrology’s Tapestry. Get an online astrology consultation by the world-renowned astrologer Mr. Alok Khandelwal.
Vargas: The Building Blocks of Cosmic Insights In Hindu astrology, a natal chart, or birth chart, is the foundational blueprint that maps the positions of celestial bodies at the time of an individual’s birth. This primary chart is known as the Rashi or D1 chart. However, it’s just the tip of the celestial iceberg. To delve deeper into the intricacies of a person’s life, astrologers turn to divisional charts, or Vargas.
Unpacking the Cosmic Kaleidoscope: How Vargas Works Vargas are derived from the main birth chart by dividing the twelve signs and twelve houses into various sections. Each section reveals specific aspects of one’s life. The most commonly used divisional chart is the D9, or Navamsa chart, which divides each sign into nine parts. This chart is considered incredibly important and is often referred to as the “soul chart.”
The Role of Vargas in Uncovering Life’s Mysteries Vargas serve several essential functions in Hindu astrology:
Fine-tuning Predictions: While the birth chart provides a broad overview of one’s life, Vargas fine-tunes predictions by shedding light on particular aspects, such as marriage, career, and spirituality. For example, the D9 chart is pivotal in understanding the nuances of one’s married life.
Balancing the Cosmic Equation: Vargas helps balance the influence of planets. In the main birth chart, planets may be strong or weak, but their strength can change dramatically in divisional charts. This balance adds depth to astrological analyses.
Revealing Hidden Talents: Vargas can reveal hidden talents and aspects of one’s life that may not be immediately apparent in the birth chart. They act like magnifying glasses, highlighting specific areas of focus.
Exploring the Most Commonly Used Vargas While there are numerous divisional charts available, some are more commonly used due to their profound impact on life readings:
Navamsa (D9): Often called the soul chart, it focuses on marriage and relationships. It provides insights into the emotional and spiritual aspects of one’s life.
D10: Dasamsa Chart: This chart centres on one’s career and professional life. It unveils one’s potential for success, reputation, and public life.
D60: Shashtiamsha Chart: This highly detailed chart fine-tunes predictions about one’s life, offering intricate insights into various aspects, including health, wealth, and spiritual journey.

The Harmonious Symphony of Vargas An astrologer’s mastery lies not only in reading the birth chart but also in harmonising it with the relevant divisional charts. The interplay between these charts creates a symphony of insights that can guide individuals through life’s challenges and opportunities.
Balancing destiny with free will It’s crucial to remember that Vargas are not deterministic. While they provide valuable insights, they don’t dictate one’s fate. Hindu astrology emphasises the balance between destiny (prarabdha) and free will (purushartha). Vargas offers guidance, but individuals still have the power to make choices that can shape their destinies.
Embracing Vargas as a Source of Wisdom In the hands of a skilled astrologer, Vargas becomes a source of profound wisdom. They allow for a more holistic view of an individual’s life, helping them navigate challenges, harness strengths, and make informed decisions.
Conclusion: The Cosmic Mosaic of Vargas Vedic astrology is a vast and intricate science that seeks to illuminate the unique journey of each individual. Vargas, like pieces of a cosmic mosaic, enrich this journey by unveiling the hidden patterns and subtleties of life. As we navigate the tapestry of our existence, we can find solace in the understanding that Vargas offers a guiding light, revealing the beauty and complexity of our cosmic destinies.

Astrovations #14
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
MC Persona Chart // Mars in 11th - Is prominent in some celebrity charts I've seen with massive followings
MC Persona Chart // Venus in 2nd - Not afflicted can create amazing wealth
MC Persona Chart // Mercury in 1st - Shows communicating a lot in your job. If a business owner then you will need to explain things to people a lot more, what you want and need to happen. If a normal worker then there's just a lot of conversing wherever you work in your career
In transits - When a natal planet is conjunct a transitting planet, sure it will work, however I've noticed when a transitting planet is directly ontop of a natal asteroid/planet, it can fully activate it and show itself the most
Viper (7464) in the 3rd - I've actually seen in a person's chart who was sly and could be a smooth talker. They could legit "slither" into anything and get away from stuff that may have been offensive because the public will side with them normally (unless other aspects counteract this of course)
Viper (7464) in the 5th (ruler of Viper in the 6th) - My friend has this aspect with Viper in Aquarius and Uranus in the 6th, and has had about 2 to 3 snakes (2 for sure but unsure if she got another one 👀)
Tumblr media
NN Persona Chart - Indicates what we're destined to feel, go through, overcome in this lifetime. Of course the NN dictated what we strive for, however this chart shows what we will go through since we are striving through it! I've noticed sometimes some aspects will only make sense in childhood and later disappear in some way. As if completing an aspect of life ya know? In vedic there's the navamsa (D9 chart) showing our second half of life (after we get married or we turn...36 I believe???? Maybe it was 32- I can't remember y'all) anyways so that goes with vedic peeps ^~^ I might make a NN persona chart post explaining random aspects. I'm not sure if I put this in another Astrovation- however it's here now so owell lmao 😂
In synastry Venus conjunct South node - Definitely can indicate a past life lover. Even better if it's vice versa or they have the same thing going on with their nodes
Northnode conjunct Juno in natal - Can actually show getting with someone new in this lifetime for marriage (by that I mean you weren't with them in a past life or etc) this can also be an indicator showing marriage playing a major factor in this life's journey
8th house can show debts - This is well known, however I'm just gonna talk about it a bit more. Let's say you have your 8th in cancer and cancers ruler (moon) is placed in the 9th house. This can show gaining debts from travelling or going to college (etc). Just definitely look towards the 8th house zodiac or whatever planet(s) are in the 8th. If there's a planet in the 8th look for its zodiac sign(s)! For vedic astrology lovers I'd say look into your Dasamsa (D10) for more career related debts 🥳 (also keep in mind the Rasi ((D1)) as always!)
Synastry // Northnode - Wherever North node overlaps in someone's house it shows why someone was brought into your life. Try it out with your families charts! I did this with my mom and we had a Northnode/12th house overlap and she's the one who has guided my spirituality and made me dive into the paranormal/occult after hearing her experiences. I guess I came down with her because she was meant to guide me to do something like that while I'm on my path 🥳🥳
Pisces 5th House - Can actually be lost in the realm of creativity. Now, now, I'm NOT saying they aren't creative. These people are by far super artistic and etc. What I mean is, they can have moments in their life where they seem confused with what to do. They can often lose interest in a hobby and move onto a new one. Or they can have moments where they like a particular hobby but want to do something else too! The only question is, what?
Western + Vedic astrology - From what me and my mom have noticed, if you look at your sun sign in your western chart, it can really grasp how we act in our younger years. Whereas, our vedic sun a lot of times develops after. As you grow up you may notice you start to resemble your vedic sun more and more. Some people actually might feel the resemblence in early years but generally it gets more clear as time goes. This does NOT mean you lose the qualities of your western sun btw! My personal theory is that since vedic was traditional ancient astrology and came before western, id say the sun sign from vedic seems to age as you age per say. Its hard to explain but our lifespans are 'long' so a sun needs to develop on that path, right? DON'T GET ME WRONG LMAO, you will definitely feel Vedic Sun effects when young but they could be in smaller stages (virgo wants their room clean or Aries and sports////idk something) and etc dk its interesting, sorry for rambling :') a good example is my mom, she has a Western Aries Sun but a Vedic Pisces Sun, she hates that she's a pisces (she loves Aries gang) however she can't help but noticed she relates to her Pisces with the way she acts and thinks the most! I even think she resembles a Pisces now more. As a Libra Western and Virgo Vedic, I've noticed even at the young age of 18 I have started to become more clean and hate germs more and more. I like everything organized now and am starting to keep an eye on my health as time goes by, unlike if you asked my younger self
Tumblr media
Juno in the 1st house - Can make the person be attracted to physically fit or well put together people. Possibly into someone more dominant however other aspects play a role ^ It doesn't matter if the zodiac sign it's in is superficial or not, looks typically play a part in some way. Someone may also come off as dependable if they make a intriguing first impression
Scorpio/Pluto dominants - I've noticed typically like the chase when it comes to the beginning of love relationships. They love the tug and war and 'intensity' of the game. They don't like a boring start where it's too easy normally
Planets in the 12th - Yes ive already been ontop of this topic, however can you blame me 😂 the whole idea of planets in the 12th being watered down and acting as a pisces makes total sense. Look into pisces of whatever planet is in the 12th for you. Based on my brothers and my chart, ive noticed my mercury in libra (12th) acts a lot like a pisces mercury and so does my sun. It doesnt kill the libra but it does make the hazy fog intertwine with it. My brothers Jupiter seems to act like a pisces jupiter often too when it comes to jupiters themes
Venus in 8th house synastry - can indicate a relationship in secret. This placement might awaken the Venus persons sexuality too btw, if they weren't interesting in sex before or were more insecure about that stuff then they won't be in this relationship
Jupiter or Venus in 8th synastry - can be marriage aspects if in good tides! If in bad tides, this can show massive jealousy/sex/secrets and etc
Aries risings - I've personally noticed have some type of prominence with the chin, cheekbones + forehead (I wrote this on another post, that's an analysis on some people, that's coming before this or after this)
Saturn conjunct Ascendant/in first - Ok honestly it doesn't take me long to figure out if someone has this. A lot of people with this placement have the similar Capricorn vibe on how they portray themselves. Collected and composed gang but mentally everywhere. Some people with this placement are actually quite serious or are percieved in that way. People can instantly feel a strong reserved aura until proven otherwise/it loosens up
Southnode conjunct Juno - can indicate marrying a past life lover/marriage partner. It can also show you actually looking for qualities in a partner which can replicate your past life partners personality or appearance. Southnode can show us where we are distant as well as have a hidden knack for, which is why we can tend to fall back onto it. This placement can showing falling back on old marriage past life habits. Of you marry then there could be a slight possibility of divorcing as well at some point. I will say that the closer these 2 are conjunct the more of a chance for Juno to be opposite NN. In this case, marriage is destined to happen at some point, however this might be because a marriage, love, was unresolved in a past life or there's karma to work out
Scorpio rising/Libra Rising/Venus in the 1st/Possibly Pluto in the 1st - I've noticed have a good chance of having a cleft chin. Not all of them! But I have noticed more people with cleft chins have these rising/placements ☺
Saturn conjunct ascendant/Saturn in 1st/Capricorn Rising - Noses + Eyebrows are normally prominent/similar in patterns when I look for Capricorn rising peeps. It's something that stands out to me and says "Capricorn influence" 🥰 (personal opinion from the cap risings I've seen or know, the noses are snatched 💃)
Tumblr media
Planets inbetween houses - can indicate the planets energy falling into both of them. Imagine a round sphere of energy for the planet. If it was on a line that had separated the two houses, then the planets energy would be across each line, therefore it spills over onto each. Does that mean it's half and half? I wouldn't think so, it just depends! 😉 everyone's chart works according to that person. I have my moon in 0° cancer in the 9th, however it's on the line to my 8th and acts itself out there too from what I've noticed. Since it's in cancer though id say my moon is putting most of it's energy into the cancer house because that's it's ruling sign
Acting Career Prominent Planets Analyzed In Movie Actors Birthcharts According To 'Doris Chase Doane'
Common
More Uncommon
Mars
Venus
Uranus was just under Mars, making a top 2nd place of the most common. Mars is hardworking, expressive, and durable. Personally speaking, Mars is a planet that is associated with energy as well so all of this together makes sense as to why it's seen as commonly prominent in actors charts
(Continued) When looking at houses for Actor "potential" - look at 1st and 5th house activity. Id personally say Neptune + Sun can have a significant role. Neptune I've seen be more common in singers charts though!
Health Astrology Tip - Wherever an afflicted planet is, can show where someone may have health problems. Check what sign the planet is in and possibly the houses traditional ruler if needed! (EX: Afflicted Sun in the 12th in Libra -> Check what body parts Libra + Pisces rule! -> Libra = Ovaries, external sexual organs, bladder, lower back etc /// Pisces = Feet, bodily fluids, lymphatic system )
Personal Assumption -> Afflicted Mercury and/or Venus - I can see having a possibility to cause asthma in some individuals. Mercury is ruled by Gemini which rules lungs. I said Venus because Taurus which is ruled by Venus, also rules the neck/throat
Same intercepted signs in 2 people's natal charts - I've seen get along and relate well with eachother
House ruler conjunct a planet can have effect on the house - Specifically I talked about Asthma earlier, and a friend who has it, has their 6th house ruler conjunct Mercury (lungs/airways etc)
Mars conjunct Uranus - If you already have problems with headaches, this aspect can cause headaches to come without reason. Just randomly in the day, like an unexpected clash
Neptune aspecting Venus - might have dreams from time to time dealing with romantic themes
Mercury afflicted or Mercury conjunct/harshly aspecting Sun/Mars/Jupiter or Mercury in the 12th or Mercury ruling 6th house - Can show a person with anxiety problems. Mercury afflicted can indicate someone fidgety, some form of communication difficulty. Mercury conjunct 1 (or all) of the 3 planets above makes Mercury possibly think faster than they speak leading to stumbled over words and missing words in sentences- these planets can also just "steal the spotlight" in a sense and kick Mercury to the side, Mercury in the 12th shows Mercury having a harder time with communication skills, it's confused at times and commonly in its own little world, so when forced to do things like presentations and etc, they internally freak out, Mercury ruling the 6th house is pretty straight forward- 6th house can show health, Mercury with communications might create something with this, however this last one I assumed!

D10/ dasamsa chart
The d10 chart is the career chart in Vedic astrology, and is looked at to determine the success and luck of an individual in their career.
The houses
1st house- fame from work, and ones personality in terms of work
2nd house- earnings made through career.
3rd house- your colleagues. The people you have to work with and communicate with on a daily basis. Efforts one will put in their work.
4th house- someone’s seat of power in their career. Happiness and comfort in career.
5th house- your subordinates (people who work under you). Luck, and progress in career.
6th house- service, routine, and enemies in career.
7th house- relations and interactions with the public. Business partnerships in career. Marriage impact on career.
8th house- transformations, scandals, and hidden politics in career.
9th house- luck and good fortune in career. Also represents mentors and bosses, and the people who guide you to success.
10th house- status, fame, and overall success in profession
11th house- gains in career. Large organizations, the company you may work for. Achievements and awards received in career.
12th house- house of enemies and secret friends. Foreign lands. Work behind the scenes. Losses in career
Check the placement of your ascendant and 10th lord in the dasamsa chart. Having an exalted 10th lord in your dasamsa chart is an indicator of extraordinary success and fame in career. Having a debilitated 10th lord can show that someone will face obstacles in career, and it will be very difficult for them to gain prominence in career.
