Thank you @karmitofenix for this idea! I had a blast and spent honestly way too much time on it. It's still pretty messy, but I feel proud and it was nice to do anime style art for a change. In time, everyone will know the TRAGIC extent of Hope's Peak's failings.

Finished the weapon art for my Doll mod for Darkest Dungeon. Been doing one every day. Hopefully I can keep the momentum to get a finished mod.
Weapon advancements follow a tradition of the first being a monochrome version of the second, then it gets progressively less dingy and more cool.
Personally I think I cooked with the 2nd and 4th. The last isn't my favorite, I like the Saif, and the threaded canes forming a DNA strand is a good idea, but the execution wasn't fully there for me. I'm happy with it regardless.
As for why it is like that, I took heavy inspiration from the Bloodstone Shards from Bloodborne, because you know, Bloodborne weapons, and I always wanted to see how your weapons mutate as you upgrade them, but no one ever drew that. So I did.
By 4, her Beasthunter's Saif's blade gets replaced with Bloodstone Chunks, and the threaded canes' blades get mutated into Bloodstone Shards.
By 5, the Saif becomes a Blood Rock, and the DNA webbing inside becomes the blade.
So yeah, end statement.
