For the Navajo people that comes from their clans.The Navajo people's way of life revolves around kinship or K'é, which arises from familial and clan relationships. (x)

When it comes to clans in Navajo, there are a few things to keep in mind. For one, Navajo clans are exogamous, meaning members of the same clan cannot marry one another. Additionally, each clan is associated with a particular animal, plant, or geographic feature, which is considered to be that clan’s ” protector.”  (x)

It's been announced that the streamer formerly known as HBO Max is partnering up with AMC+ for a limited time digital pop-up.

From Sept. 1st through Oct. 31st, a slew of AMC/AMC+ series are going to Max. The titles are:

-ANNE RICE'S INTERVIEW WITH THE VAMPIRE (S1)

-FEAR THE WALKING DEAD (S1-S7)

-A DISCOVERY OF WITCHES (S1-S3)

-The holiday is over on September 8th for the Jamie Dornan limited series THE TOURIST.

Originally on Australia's Stan, followed by BBC One, before landing on Max, the series was a success in its countries of origins, but less successful on Max. Therefore, Max did not pick up the streaming rights for series 2.

That's okay- we don't need your lousy service anyway! We'll go to Peacock where all the other British imports goes to be unwatched!

What is series two all about? Just like series one we are on the quest to uncover the truth of our favourite amnesiac Elliot's (Dornan) past, this time in Ireland. He is once again joined in this endeavor by constable Helen Chambers (Danielle Macdonald) and the two are dragged into a longstanding family feud.

While you have to wait an undetermined amount of time to see Dornan in series two of THE TOURIST, you can currently watch him and Gal Gadot in Netflix's HEART OF STONE

and September 9th, you can see him in another Sir Kenneth Branagh production - A HAUNTING IN VENICE , which reunites him with his BELFAST son, Jude Hill.

THIS. This show is absolutely stellar. The cast is incredible, and you get to learn about Diné culture whilst enjoying a gripping, conscientiously-made crime noir with a lot of heart. There’s also a sizable amount of indigenous talent on the crew, not only the cast. We’ve gotta talk about Dark Winds more on here, and everywhere, because it’s so good it deserves a third season.

hey, you. yes, you. dark winds is on max right now until 10/31 and i am telling you to watch it. it has mystery, action, suspense, magical realism, and an almost entirely indigenous cast. don't wait, just go.

One thing I like about this show, yes there's a will they/won't they element but it's also straight forward.

They both early on let it be known they're interested in each other and even in season 1 Bernadette openly is like "why stay? I'm here" which is extremely BOLD to say to someone you practically just met. But they know they have a connection, we know they have a connection - what's the point of coy?
