Vampires are real and the government has one very important law to keep citizens safe. NEVER walk alone. They enforce this by law with a hefty fine. It makes sense, really. Safety in numbers and all! But when Technoblade is forced to move away from his favorite neighbor, Tommy, he decides to break that rule more than once so he can walk the menace to school. Even if the fines start to eat at his wallet. It's so great that his new neighbor Philza agrees to walk with them as well! This will surely have no consequences! or; Philza is a lonely vampire and Technoblade is too fantastic for him to pass on.

another SBI Idea thats based on a manwha, I remember the name this time "my unexpected marriage" but obviously this is not about marriage nor romance, just that i base it on it)

Baisically tommy is the younger brother of dream, who is some really fancy duke/right hand man to the king, but tommy is liked better by the general public then dream (for good reason) and dream fears being overthrown by tommy because of it

dream makes up that tommy is not actually related to him and therefore he shouldn't have custody of tommy and tommy can't live with him anymore, he pretends to be all nice about it and requests to be in control of who tommy is placed with and its allowed

nobody pays attention who tommy is placed with after all the drama because its considered drama over, so tommy is placed in the legal care of a noble family that all disappeared in the war but who legally arent declared dead yet because of some weird deal their head of family struck with the king like 20 years ago

and he is dropped off at their remote mansion and there is no one there, no servants or nothing.

but he finds out somehow that because he is now legally a family member he can access all the frozen assets/money thats in the fams bank account

tommy takes it apun himself to clean the place up and live his life, he finds an old field of potato's and he fixes the farm land up in order to be self sufficient and in his spare time he knits things to sell off in the village

maybe half a year after tommy is dropped off there, 3 very tired nobles finally getting home find themselves with a new family member

basically afterwards:

theyve let him stay and not made comments about why tommy is there but tommy finds himself unsure if hes gonna be allowed to stick around

I just watched “The platform” and I’m not really sure how to feel about it :,D

The only thing I know for certain is it would fit extremely well with either an sbi family dynamic or Destiel. Maybe I’ll do both. I dunno man it just… it just has those nice dystopian but everyone KNOWS it’s messed up but can’t do shit about it vibes

Like for the ending it could be like the four of them on the platform and techno trying to balance food on his head and defending, Phil defending as well as giving rations, while Tommy just kind of threatens people and Wilbur is trying to hand out rations but also trying to serenade people into joining their quest (he’s failing miserably)

This is one of those times I just accept I wouldn’t survive

Man I’m a vegetarian I can’t DO cannibalism, even if I talk about it more than is appropriate. It’s an interesting subject! And even if I DID eat people WHICH I DONT! I could NOT eat them raw. I like my food well made, I’m picky like that.

Like I could totally stab people, I’m fine with that… so I guess I could ride the platform down to the bottom and then use it to ride to the top to get food

I’m also very short so I could probably survive longer without food.

Edit: so the issue here is the fact that the only way I can gain enough body fat to survive a month without food is by over-eating, which essentially means I’d be continuing the cycle of starving lower levels…. Dammit.

So maybe I ask if I can have a shit ton of matches so I can cook the human meat? I could probably wash it in the sink first then-

 "I d-don't know what you're-"

 Another sharp blow and Tommy is feeling saliva and blood dribble from the corner of his mouth. He works hard to maintain his glare.

 "You've grown close"

 Tommy didn't even answer. Was it true? He no longer considered them clients, so maybe this prick was right. But close? Tommy never got too close to his work...

 The man reels back again and Tommy closes his eyes.

Chapter 12

Technoblade was just a normal student-wait, scratch that. Technoblade was a fantastic student. But being a fantastic student doesn't protect you from the end of the world. Somehow, the Dead God has returned. And he has returned angry. He is committed to the death of the entire human race. Until he stops. And he demands the entire world bring him one person. One person, and then the reign of terror ends. But by the wing, why does that one person have to be Technoblade? or; Philza is an awakened God that wants revenge, until he realizes his murdered bestie was reincarnated. Now he just wants his best friend back. Technoblade wants to not be murdered by an all powerful god with attachment issues.

Monster dark sbi au

spider monster philza and naga techno and wilbur (c! everybody)

phil makes a web in his cave bcs he knows tommy can fall in it and he's overheard tommy and dream camping nearby and has grown fond of tommy and hateful of dream

tommy falls in the web, phil tells him he is his new family bcs hes been watching humans and they seem happy with their familys typically and he wants one, but dream sucks even to arachne standards so hes tyna say hes helping tommy out, (tommy is actually in distress)

naga techno and wilbur live in the cave area below phils web and have never talked to phil before, but they see the whole thing go down and threw a multitude of convo's with tommy, (while phil is out and unabel to stop them from interacting with tommy) they also start liking tommy

tommy ofcs does not like his new kidnapped state, let alone the monster who kidnapped him, even if he does internally start questioning why he is sometimes more relaxed now than he usually ever was with dream

tommy does kinda like techno and wilbur

(wilbur and techno do not know phil beyond knowing he lived in the top of their cave, they were originally planning on taking tommy and setting him loose because he was getting annoying with all his screaming echoing in the cave, but when they talk with him while trying to look at phils web to try and find weakspots to break it, they start liking tommy enough they dont want to break him free, ofcs this isnt an issue that makes tommy dislike them more, because they never told tommy they planned on letting him out in the first place)

eventually wilbur and techno meet phil and talk with him and ask him to let tommy down into the cave so he can walk around and not be constantly bored or screaming, saying he would never find his way out of the cave without them and even if he could, they would never let him out of their sight anyways.

so tommy hangs out with techno and wilbur in the cave a bit and finds out techno and wilbur are obsessed with taking human stuff left in the forest, tommy gets stuck explaining what all the humans things do/are to the nagas

phil starts being around techno and wilbur more in order to be around tommy while he is in the cave and they all become fam eventually yay :)

The Misuse of the Dark SBI Tag

For the past few months, there’s been a blatant misuse of the Dark SBI tag. From popular authors using it in a too light setting, to constant physical abuse being labeled as ‘Dark SBI’, and to people who are (and admitted to) using it for more hits instead of using it to accurately describe their work. 

So I’m here to tell you all what Dark SBI actually is! This way, people can correct any improper use of the tag. This can also be used as a reference for those who genuinely don’t know how to use the tag, and are accidentally using it wrong. 

Also, I've been made aware that ‘Dark’ is often used as a blanket term in other fandoms, so I can understand the confusion some people might have! However, this tag was created with a different intention for this fandom and so this post was made to clarify that for those who don’t know! There are also more specific tags for certain topics (such as Neglectful SBI or Bad Family SBI) that should be used, instead of being put under an umbrella tag. Especially when those tags themselves already describe what content readers will be seeing.

Friendly reminder: This is entirely about the characters and not the content creators! Again, this is about the characters! Thank you!

Dark SBI is a tag that was made for platonic-possessive and obsessive SBI. They’re morally bad and awful people. They’ve often kidnapped each other (usually Tommy), and that is the point. 

Think of it like this: Dark SBI is similar to Mother Gothel from Tangled, but SBI actually love and enjoy each other’s presence instead of using each other for their own gain. (And with a side of Stockholm Syndrome depending on who was kidnapped.)

They won’t let each other (or a specific member) go. They are constantly thinking of them, and want their total attention and love. To the point where they’ll get upset if someone else gets that attention and affection. (NOTE: intensity varies based on how dark you want to go—the darker you want to write it, the more clingy they are. Dark SBI doesn’t mean they have to be completely obsessive and possessive, but it does mean they are more clingy than regular people.)

I’ve compiled a few examples of what is and isn’t Dark SBI, to make this more clear for everyone. Please note, the authors of early Dark SBI fics (where the tag originated from) have weighed in on this!

What is Dark SBI:

Dark SBI = Morally Dark gray/black FAMILY SBI

Strictly PLATONIC relationships

Possessive behavior

Over-Protective SBI (Usually goes hand-in-hand with Possessive behavior, but they are Protective to an unhealthy degree. Depending on how Dark the fic is.)

Obsessive behavior

Stockholm Syndrome (With SBI genuinely loving and liking their victim.)

Kidnapping

Forced Adoption

Codependency

Unempathetic/apathetic to people outside themselves (However, if the fic has kidnapping, they do care for the victim they intend to take.)

Forced Found Family if SBI isn’t Blood Related (NOT dehumanization! This has never been a tag for stories with pet/master themes that know a character is sentient and don’t care. For reference, this would be tagged as Evil SBI.)

What is not Dark SBI:

Neglectful SBI

Physically Abusive SBI (Constantly hitting a character or using violence for any small slight.)

Bad Family SBI

Evil SBI (They don’t care about each other and/or actively try (or succeed) to kill a certain member and never change their mind.)

SBI using one of their Members for their Own Gain (They do not love the character they’re using and don’t care for them.)

Remorseful SBI (Regrets kidnapping or being possessive/obsessive.)

Only being Dark SBI because they Kill People (SBI actively kills in canon, so there’s no need to label them as ‘Dark SBI’ just because they commit murder.)

Good Villain SBI (Where SBI are villains, but aren’t horrible people.)

Vampires who are Only labeled as Dark SBI because they’re Vampires.

Heavy/Constant Dehumanization (Where the character is obviously sentient, but their kidnappers don’t care and treat them like a pet, object, or tool. This is literally slavery and abuse. Tag it as Evil SBI)

Ranboo and/or Tubbo replacing Tommy (Dark SBI is for morally messed up Philza, Tommy, Wilbur, Techno as a family. Having someone else be a member of SBI, instead of Tommy, needs to have its own tag. Many people search up Dark SBI content specifically for those four, so it’s rude to tag it if it won’t actually be included.)
