The Secret Histories: Ch. 1: The Meniscate (Jon)

"Found any followers here yet?" He tries to keep his tone light, though he knows that he is a taciturn man, that people think he's too serious. And she is right to worry about the Bureau. Their reputation is whispered, but it's said that sometimes, adepts disappear entirely, locked into one of their black cells until who knows when.

She hesitates, then half-smiles. The glow of the electric bulbs lighting the place reflects in her pupils, making them look alight. "Jon Snow. I thought Jon Snow might join me."

He cannot say anything to her now, but to give her a surprised look, then incline his head to her.

"I can't read all of it alone." She could. People do. He is not sure why she is saying this, and for a moment, he's skeptical: maybe she's just trying to do away with a rival by drawing him into the fold. He helps her study Forge lore and never touches the Mansus himself, never passes the true doors.

The trouble is that there doesn't seem to be a fold yet, as it were. She wants to create one. She wants him to be a disciple, but nearly an equal. This could be more trouble in the future.

He is already thinking in terms of a future. That's trouble too.

Things turn sour when Jon confesses his deeper feelings, and Daenerys makes a choice she lives to regret just before tragedy strikes. Does she need to accept this tragic ending or is there another way?

This whole sequence fascinates me:

Jon melts from the darkness and is making his walk to go confront Dany.

He happens upon a mound of ashes and debris which Drogon happens to be under. We know Drogon is an extension of Dany so the fact that he's just chilling underneath all of this should alert people to how blase Dany actually is about what she's just done, and no one should be surprised at her reaction when Jon confronts her on how many people (including innocent children) she just burned alive.

This is the world she wanted. She wanted to destroy the wheel so she could be on top forevermore. She didn't even want Targaryen as a spoke left.

An indebted city lives in fear of falling behind on their payments because a Lannister always collects their debts. For uncollected payments, the Lannisters employ Repo Men.  Dr. Jon Snow sold his soul to the Lannisters 12 years ago, the night his wife died (or did she?) and his daughter was born. To protect his daughter from the world, and his terrible secret, he works as a masked executioner until his employer sends him a target he refuses to take.

In this version, we take Dany out of the refrigerator and we give them second chance lovers with a happy ending 💓This is one of my favorite movies and it's been living in my google docs for years...
