Sonictober 2024 Day 26! Theme: Claws. When nightfall brings not only Dark Gaia monsters but Sonic the Werehog, chaos is sure to erupt. But what can he do when speed and spinning are no longer an option? Rip and tear, of course!

Think of Dark Shadow from MHA, the darker, the stronger. So on New Moons you lack moon light, he takes this form

New Moon form is more akin to a dg minion

I'm skipping a few drawings in-between these two for the sake of being related-ish, but we'll come back to those.

Technically this Chaos design could be considered OC-ish I guess ? Chaos is a deity here, and quite a major one considering chaos energy is the aura in everything ! Here he is mortal, for purposes.

i see were-forms of sonic characters drawn where they get all fluffy and spiky and clawed and fanged and thats fun and all. i do that too. but werehog sonic is at least a little grotesque.

he’s got fingernails. not creature claws, full-on grimy thick fingernails on humanoid hands tinted pale pale greeny-blue like the undead. like they balance it out with the cartoony arms and devil-horn ears but he is definitely meant to be taken as a little offputting. i love that. your honor make this beloved character a little bit ugly and monstrous in the unglorious ways and still let them act heroic please.

Just some doodles I did of some of the Dark Gaia monsters from Sonic Unleashed since I'm obsessed with them. The Deep Nightmare above is my OC Oblivion, Abyss the Dragon's personal pet!

Sonic OC Redesign for @shadows-coffeebeans. Their Sonadow fan kid, Starlight.

-Notes-

When I first saw the photo of Starlight, I immediately thought "Is he a wolf?". And because of that one simplified I immediately decided to make him part werehog. Basically, my design with this is that he's a half hedgehog, 1/4 Black Doom, and 1/4 Werehog/Dark Gaia. I took a bunch of references from Werehog Sonic, the Dark Gaia minions, Eclipse The Darkling, and my old Dark Gaia shadow design. I kept the long tail and the fluffs at his ears.

I changed this secondary color to pink to match the glowing bits on the Dark Gaia minions. I tried to mix the stripe pattern of shadow and Eclipse's markings. I gave him a third eye to be more alien-like. I gave him his own little black boots with his own inhibitor rings. I also chose to give him yellow eyes cuz I thought it would match with the gold inhibitor rings and just a little bit of contrast between Sonic's green and Shadow's red.

In terms of powers, I think this little guy could grow up to be very capable in both Chaos Energy and Dark Gaia magic. Would this make Chip his uncle? Cousin?

Okay, but seriously. This image was so clear to me that I NEEDED to draw it. I wanted to know if there was ever a Werehog Stellar before and tried messing around with that, and then it jumped from that to adding Camellia into the mix so... Werehog gf protects cat princess against dark gaia minions.

Thought it'd be neat. Hope you like it! :D

Can we know more about Amy?

Honestly in whichever au u wanna ramble about im just curious how you have her characterized and her role!

I'm actually gonna talk about my main AU Amy bc she's the most planned I have and tbh it's so hard to characterize her. I'm just gonna ramble about what I have bc her personality is not cemented *cries*

So! Amy is introduced in CD as this quirky fortune teller girl. She uses tarots and time stones to predict people's futures. Metal Sonic kidnaps her so she can help him find the rest of the time stones, and she eventually helps Sonic beat Metal by helping him predict Metals movements by using the Time Stones. Gives her some foresight. After that, since Sonic is just around for the New Year's celebration, Amy shows him around so he can immerse in the culture. Amy's infatuated, but still genuinely fond of Sonic.

Amy comes back in Advance 2, when Cream (who she was babysitting) got kidnapped. She tries to help with her new hammer, but it gets broken and she's unable to continue fighting alongside Sonic, but she's not giving up. Her and Sonic become more like friends. (Start of her character arc)

Then Riders, where she's Sonic & Tails' teammate! I don't have many specific plans for this tho

SA2 does be SA2, still haven't rewritten in detail. Probably characters casting Amy aside only for her stubbornness to make her put herself in harms way (just to be the one who SAVES THE DAY. twice?)

She's besties w Gamma & Cream in heroes but idk the plot

Skip to 06, she's a very good moraled character for Silver to learn from. She's the one who makes Silver realize that Mephiles is using him. Amy ALMOST DIES but Silver helps her get away. Amy still wants to help Silver, but Silver doesn't want her too because it's too risky for her. He doesn't want her to get hurt.

Another skip to Unleashed. Amy wants to help out, but she's constantly brushed aside because this is serious. Amy gets upset, and ends up being corrupted by Dark Gaia (would be a boss in game lol). Once Sonic defeats her, she breaks down, feeling awful for hurting him and getting in his way. She just wanted to be strong, she just wanted to help. She apologizes for being weak. Not even Dark Gaia could make her stronger. Sonic just hugs her, telling her she never needed to be strong physically. Her passion and kindness were always her strength. This is the end of her character arc! But she helps Sonic fight off dark Gaia minions since she's able to now! (Lil dark Gaia residue allows her to be able to do it)

Then another skip to Forces! She's one of the leaders to the resistance, but that's because she's good at encouraging people. She's moral support, so people want to listen to her! She's also takes care of Tails bc Tails doesn't take care of himself.

Basically, stubborn, passionate, and kind. She had an infatuation with Sonic that became genuine feelings over time. She has a crush on him, but that's not the point of her story, hence not needing mention. She just wants to help.

[silver---linings]

*a minion of Neo heard screaming and came to help, bringing a first aid kit to aid her boss, having experience firsthand the aftermath of Neo being turned into a werehog. But then she sees Silver and stops to help*

By Gaia, are you ok? *she then sees he's unconcious and swears internally, unsure of how to deal with this at all*

What happened? Oh fucking hell, what's happening.. What is going on?

*She worriedly presses a hand to Silver's wrist, trying to check for a pulse as her own heart pounds in her chest* Come on, come on...

Soft grunting can be heard as the Werehog started coming to. His eyes barely open, the eyes still having the same purple hues as before he blacked out. To him, his vision was blurred, even if he could see better in the dark, he could barely make out anything.

He felt awful. On top of being in pain, he felt sick, lightheaded even. The last thing he remembers is thrashing around the cage.

As soon as his vision cleared and he caught his eyes on an unfamiliar face, his eyes opened fully, his fur bristles up, then he snaps at her hand as warning, before getting up on all-fours and stands defensively, snarling while lifting up the injured arm to avoid putting pressure on it.

Whether this stranger is his savior, or someone affiliated with Neo or Infinite, he can't tell the difference, to him, she's perceived as a threat either way, and the beast isn't willing to let her get close.

There was no indicator of Silver being in control.
