Help my default way of drawing Bruce is the wet cat version of him from fear state and future state.

I’ve tried to draw cleaned up versions of Bruce but they just never look right. What do I do?! Literally if I try to draw Bruce this is what comes to mind.

Every version of Wolverine is unique and awesome, so I did a little study to find out my own way of drawing the guy based on the influences I got from some comic artists and live-action versions.

The one unequivocally good thing about THE BOYS and GEN V — and I know some people here will bristle at this — is that comics creators Garth Ennis and Darick Robertson are getting paid.
Tumblr fans generally hate Ennis because of his laddish crassness, fixation on dumb macho horseshit, and obvious contempt for American superhero comics, which is fair, but also not the point. How many literal billion-dollar Nerd Media franchises have been built on the backs of comics creators who never get so much as free tickets to the premiere, and who then get shorted on royalties when the publisher reprints or repackages their work to capitalize on newfound interest?
If you want to have an ethical stance on labor (and especially if you fancy yourself some kind of progressive or leftist), it needs to include people whose work isn't to your taste or you're not going to get anywhere.

TEENAGE MUTANT NINJA TURTLES #5
December 2024 By Jason Aaron , Darick Robertson, Norm Rapmund, Tony Aviña, and Shawn Lee.
A turtleless episode. Discover the secret origin of the TMNT's latest villain, and his... fatal?... encounter with Casey.
Tumblr media
SCORE: 9
It's quite interesting seeing mainstream artists and writers tackling the TMNT. This feels like a book/universe published by on the main three publishers.
There are some notorious differences. Whereas Sophie Campbell avoided making parallels with the real world, Jason Aaron is all in on the outcast drunk with power... but it also offers some sort of... justification logic for his actions. Hale is a "well-rounded" character that was seemingly cornered into being the bad guy he always wanted to be. Having said that, I can imagine some people getting angry at this kind of character choice... you still want TMNT to not feel like X-Men.
There is also the weird situation with the Foot clan basically in power... which I am not sure how it can be legal.

Despite following a predictable route for a villain... this issue was filled with shocks and surprises. In other words, a TMNT book hasn't been this engaging in a while. And Casey is starting to feel like Mirage Casey as well.
Overall, the issue answered many of the questions I had about the new status quo of the clan, but it kind of spoils the ending of the ongoing "Mutant Nation" story... or does it?
After a few years of making my video reviews, the one thing I learned is that I am usually very wrong about my take on the comics I read. It's a good and a bad thing. It's bad, because I cannot really trust my judgment after reading one book. But it's good because I can change my mind after seeing the full picture. I guess what this says about me is that I enjoy complete stories over single chapters.
Not sure why I needed to add that here, but I think that on this month-by-month reviewing... it is really hard for me to keep track of all the plots, and that definitely affects how I score or see these issues.
Perhaps I should stop scoring them altogether.
In any case... What did you think of this issue? Are you enjoying the new villain?
