                 ‘ for someone who hates sports and any sort of activity that isn’t having his nose in a book, you’re here quite often. ’ he mused as he made his way off the field. calloused hands tossed the ball playfully before he was easily catching it again. tucking the rugby ball under his arm, he was walking with william now, needing to change out of the dirty, stained clothes and desperately needing a quick wash. 

                 ‘ we won, am i going to get some sort of victory kiss? ’ he teased. he never wanted to put william in such a hard place, especially with so many prying eyes. still, he couldn’t give up a few jabs here and there. it was so hard not to when william was so easy to tease.

                 he hadn’t been paying attention to his mate, though. not with the way he was looking around warily. no, he’d been too proud of his own joke that he’d been practically skipping back to the changing rooms. dantalion stopped dead in his tracks when his wrist was grabbed and he quickly turned back to face william. groomed brows furrowed and he’d been ready to ask if he was alright, when he felt the quickest, harshest kiss to his cheek. a small grunt came from the nephilim and he stumbled slightly. the smack from lips pressing against his flesh had his ear ringing and dantalion left absolutely startled. 

                 ‘ wh- ’ he was pressing his now-free hand to his face, almost wiping at the saliva time such a messy peck. despite his reddened cheeks, his other arm raised enough to point without dropping the ball underneath. ‘ i’m expecting an actual one when we get home, i hope you realize that. ’ he warned before he was rushing into the changing rooms. 

                 the quicker he got home . . . well, they knew the rest.
