Contest Event??

So! My team and I have decided on how to hold this! 

With what little information thats been given on this blog, and the role play blogs, we would like to see what people come up with art (or even fic) wise for this au! And whoever comes up with something thats either incredibly close to, or even spot on, to the story and everything going on- will get a large role in the story itself, either through a role within the ask/rp blogs, or even a worker shown in The Truth.

Okay so. just putting this out there: I want to host a DanPlan big/flash bang event.

If you don't know, a Bang is basically a collaboration between writers and artists. The first phase of it is the writers writing a fic and the second phase is the artists drawing art for that fic.

Big bangs have a high word count and gives the creators months worth of time. Meanwhile, flashbangs have a low word count and gives a lot less time for the creators. (Big bangs are more common than flashbangs, actually.)

Before I act, though, I need everyone to fill out this interest check! Please spread this around so I can know that this won't be a dead project.

Of all the Reboots I had to review, this is probably going to be the sadest...

Danplan was a youtube series that has Daniel Lim coming up with scenarios that Hosuh Lee and more notably Stephen Ng will have to act out. If you watch Recryo now, think of that but its always Daniel as the host. But due to controversies that I won’t talk about here, Danplan was put on hiatus as Stephen left the group. But recently, Danplan returned but without Stephen.

So how is Stephen doing? I think good. He’s doing his own thing on his own channel and made a guest appearance on Recryo in Squid Game. He also appears on another channel similar to Recryo called Plan 3 where their Squid Game is also pretty hilarious. But without Stephen or Hosuh (I presume), can Danplan work? Well, lets give them one shot with their take on Squid Game.

Off the bat, it begins with Daniel and Elias being the only ones doing this. Elias is playing the main character of Squid Game, who despite wanting to do the smart moves like not gamble money he don’t have or participate anymore, gets railroaded back in. Which leads to a big flaw, Elias has no one to bounce off of except Daniel. Its why Stephen was such a big part of Danplan because he had a big character.

Daniel is also in the Squid Game, but as the Childhood Friend who turned out to be a jerk character in Squid Game. He does not participate like Elias does since he’s the narrator of the events. I think Elias would be fine in the original crew, as he has shown a personality, but with no one to bounce off of he has to do all the heavy lifting of providing the entertainment.

Another thing to note is Elias has only two lives in this 6 games plus a murder party in the middle to get through this. In comparison, Recryo gave them four lives so they could have more room to fail while Plan3 had infinite lives, where we can see them die over and over again for everytime they fail (complete with funny animation to go with it).

Elias kind of highlights why I’m not into this Squid Game than the others: “I'm just sitting here blinking and things are happening out of my control.” It is more fun when others are the ones dragging you to the situation and not the game railroading you to do things you wouldn’t normally do. And by the end of Part 1, he lost both his lives but gained a special one up to continue the game. But that’s it for me.

Overall, there’s a reason I was afraid to watch Danplan without Stephen: Stephen is the one that made it fun. He brought an energy that really got people to enjoy the series. But without him, and with only two people, Danplan isn’t the same. If you want the classic Danplan experience, I would recomment Recryo over this new Danplan. And also check out Plan3′s take on the Squid Game, since I found it to be a lot more entertaining than Danplan’s take on it.

Okay, because feel like we need another community thing. I’ve decided to throw an appreciation week of sorts. So next Monday the 29th (Australian Eastern Standard Time) we can start it. It’ll be Sunday for you Eastern Daylight Timers :)

So, Dans vid came out, and I wanted to put it up there. My opinion, I mean.

Stop. This. Drama.

It’s petty, it’s dumb, and I think if they just sat down and TAlked about it, everything will be ‘fine’.

It seems to be just a misunderstanding, but more on that later.

Stephen should have accepted to talk to Dan, even if he was wary of Dan. Resolve it, finish what you started, part as neutral people, if not friends.

Dan, Employee. Nah. It doesn’t work like that. You say something, and then say sorry afterwards— no, it won’t do anything at all.

And Jay. His account as a neutral, not-at-all involved not-danplan person. The Animators are being paid less than 450 dollars??? What the fuck??? And Dan doesn’t quite address that, either. He says he should have treated them kinder, but not how much they are paid.

And Jay talks of Dan as a manipulative asshole, who can deceive people, example including the nose bleed in the Hungry with Hosuh vid.

And everyone knows Jay is pissed with the release of the vid.

My opinion is as follows:

Dan actually deliberately avoided the important parts. As addressed by Snazzle, Stephen, Jay, and even another animator who doesn’t even work for Danplan. Possibly Hosuh, as well, backing them with the numbers and participating in Stephens latest livestream.

I don’t trust Dan. Too many people are telling the same story, against his side of view.

I’m sorry. I know some of you have forgiven Daniel, but

I personally don’t.

Please don’t harass me. I repeat, it’s just my opinion.

So uh

I quit Fanplan

I just can't stand what Daniel is doing. I am perfectly aware that the animators live thanks to this channel even if the salary is miserable. But for me it's like saying we should still support Amazon because thanks to them people have jobs when they pay and treat them like shit.

I won't support Daniel. I won't support Danplan. If there's by some miracle change then good for them. But for now, I won't watch their videos knowing that behind the scenes the animators live in fear and work so hard to be paid almost nothing. And let's not talk about Jay being not paid AT ALL.

Danplan and Fanplan changed my life, and I'm so, so glad y'all have been there since I watched the Birdbox video. If I'm there it's because of you and their content. I changed so much, and I didn't gave up. I survived middle school, I seriously enjoyed drawing again with the fanarts when I was in a bad episode, I began to be aware of the world and its wonderfuls... And also trash, but anyway.

But now it's over. No more danplan content. No more danplan reblogs. No more watching danplan videos.

Before the end of this post, I wanted to add :

Daniel is an asshole, and I don't care anymore about him. But please don't send hate it's just useless.

I will always trust Stephen and be on his side since by past experiences I learned and understand how money, power and popularity can affect people. If by some strange events we learn that this is all shit well okay, I guess, but this is too unlikely.

While I still want Daniel's explications, I have to admit I probably won't trust him.

Be serious people. I saw some dumb messages in the livestream's chat and it's bluffing how some people are oblivious.

Hosuh, Jay, animators... If they can see or just be told this... You deserve better.

I probably won't be missed by fanplan in general since I'm not really popular, plus this account is my main and I will still post but about other things. Sander's Sides, original stories/ art and all...

(Mini side note, you didn’t specify what you exactly wanted so we decided to do a scenario, hope you don’ t mind!)

Warning: Slight cursing

     Hosuh, Dan, Stephen, and Jay were planning to have a fun night together, recording a video then probably just chilling, maybe watching a movie before going back home to their normal lives. While they were hanging out, Hosuh mentioned that the new season of My Hero Academia had came out on Hulu the day previously. Everyone agreed since it was a decent show and they started playing it. 

     Meanwhile in the My Hero world, (we haven’t started season 4 yet, so this isn’t going to be in the events of that. Plus you also don’t get spoilers....yey? Sorry. Just imagine some side story) Deku was being yelled at by Katsuki. 

    “ What the hell did you do, you damn nerd?!”  He angrily raised his voice at the nervous boy next to him. 

    “I-I S-swear, Kacchan, I didn’t do anything!” He put his hands up in surrender as he hoped he could somehow get an explanation to the glowing purple hole hovering above them near the classroom ceiling. 

     “Why are you automatically accusing him, man?” Kiroshima piped up, his chair backwards. 

      “Because he ruins everything!” Bakugo yelled back to the red head. Before any one could say anything else the purple hole started making a strange noise. Almost as if it was screaming. 

        “It’s alive?!” Mina screeched as her face paled. A few other let out a scream as bodies started to fall through onto the floor and desks, the students moving away as quickly as possible, some taking a fighting stance. 

        Dan was the first to sit up, looking around to his new surroundings as the others soon followed suit. 

       “Where are we?” Hosuh asked Dan as he just shrugged. 

        “Get off of me Stephen.” Jay said as he pushed a confused purple haired man off of his body in attempt to stand up. The students just stared at the people that just came through the type of portal. 

        “Um....Who are all of you?” Dan asked, looking around as Hosuh suddenly had a realization. His eyes were wide as Dan started talking to the class president, lida. Soon the two psychopaths came to a realization as well. 

    “.....Did I finally die?” Jay asked as he looked around incredulously at the meant to be anime characters. 

    “ Not today, Satan, not today!” Stephen yelled as he pulled out a knife. 

     “Woah, woah, woah, Stephen, chill.” Dan stopped him. 

     “Yeah, we aren’t going to hurt you or anything. We’re just hoping you won’t hurt us. Eheh.” The green haired boy finally spoke after having his soul leave his body from what just happened. “Could you maybe explain to us how you go to make that open, or how you went through it if you didn’t know how you did it. Or maybe you didn’t make it, which would make sense since you seem just as confused as we are, but if that’s the case how did this happen? Why did this happen? This isn’t the work of someone with a quirk right? Was it one f yours and you just don’t know how to control it or are you even from this world?” The boy started mumbling to himself rather than anyone else.

     As they all sweatdropped at the mumbling boy, Aizawa entered the room once again to find everyone standing, spread out and four unfamiliar faces.

    “How is it I leave for five minutes and this happen?”

   Once they had explained to their teacher what he told them to go to the office. Nezu would know how to fix this...

(We didn’t know if you wanted them to be in the world or just temporarily placed there so below we put what we think their quirks would be, sorry)

Dan

quirk: Imagine

Whatever creature or mechanism he can think of in his mind he can make appear in real life but if he has too much detail it will have a mind of it’s own and do the exact opposite of what it’s needed for.

Stephen

quirk: Spike

He can make large stone spikes come out of the ground wherever he’ s previously stepped but if he doesn’t step on the ground with all of his weight nothing will happen so he has to be careful when using speed along with it.

Hosuh

quirk: Emotional wreck

He can take a person’s emotion and change it to whatever he wants with a single touch but the previous emotion is transferred back to him times two.

Jay

quirk: Fear Factor

He can easily find out your fear and in an instant he can make you see hallucinations of whatever you’ re afraid of come to life but he has his own paranoia’s though from using it on people. Human minds can be scary.

I don’t really know much about Canadian laws, but in my country DanPlan can be considered a partnership. And in the event that no explicit agreement was made concerning the shares in profit, it will be divided equally among the partners.

Now, you can make the argument that Stephen is not a ‘partner’, which I think most people would disagree on, but let’s go with that assumption for a sec, okay?

In the beginning, Hosuh and Daniel split the profits between them, 50/50. But Hosuh told Daniel to use his share to grow the channel. Now, we know that the money didn’t go to the animators so where else did it go? I doubt Daniel spent the entirety of the 35% he took from Hosuh on charity, so did he seriously just keep it to himself? Isn’t that misappropriation of funds? I.e. embezzlement?

It’s hard to be sure since we still don’t know the full story, and since as I mentioned before, I also don’t know much about Canadian laws, but I was just curious about what other people think of this?

This is a very special broadcast because the story here is juicy. We had an anonymous source tell us what house Ko has been up to for the past day. They’re apparently doing crimes left and right, “illegal weapons, illegal pets and many more, but then we started expanding.” Said our source. They turned one of the dorms into a church, “a church of the orange slime” They have a shrine of VSCO Jay and Banana Jay wearing a pink thong. Recently they added a Clise shrine to “Balance our stupidity.” They have decided to make sacrifices for their shrines, choosing to kill “Bigots and Queerphobes as our human sacrifice.” They needed a place to operate but “The dorm is still too small.”

                So the group began an underground scheme, a basement where they keep all their sacrifices. The kitchen is also in the basement thanks to the fire incident. They then made a petting zoo with their illegal pets. One of their members claimed that they have SCP 131 and SCP 999. “And then we go crazy” our source claims, “until we’ve branded ourselves SCP-8479 The Ko House.” They wanted to give Clell a room but they forgot they already had a room. So, they realized they have “one collective brain cell.” So they steal some from science room 1… somehow.

                “We have a saying.” Claims out source, “’Jay stole out brain cell so now we are here’ and we aspire to take it back from jay by infiltrating the office and rummaging through everything.” They actually found the brain cell of two of their members then proceed to lose them. They also claim to have 2 more SCPs, 038 and the vending machine SCP. Because they needed to clone more brain cells and “we needed to have more bleaches.”

After that, they discovered the Lee house had stolen SCP 131 and waged war. From there they’ve had people try to raid their house and Mynnteck has “been infected by toaster SCP”. All I can say is that this story has been quite a wild ride.

Day 31: Mafia AU

Two Halves Of The Law | A Danplan Mafia AU

Summary:

Hosuh, a run-of-the-mill cop, has never strayed from the path of the law. Nothing eventful has ever happened in his otherwise principled and periodic life. That was until a case came into his peripheral, a murder of a beheaded woman. The detective assigned to it and his close childhood friend, Daniel, managed to convince him to investigate a certain street with him. It was there Hosuh happened upon a man down a murky alleyway. A man with violet hair and piercing dahlia purple eyes. A man who, coincidently, was none other than the head of a mafia, Stephen. Through striking a deal, the cop and detective agree to work with Stephen to find the killer and bring justice, all as long the mafia remain secret. And so, hijinks ensue as Hosuh is sucked into the world crime as he uncovers the truth of the “justice” he seeks. Through cartels, a rival mafia, lots of lies, dirty desires and even more murder, who could this mastermind be?

Unexpected Desire × Danplan

[Okay so I am no writer, as you can probably tell. But I'm trying. Im open to feedback and suggestions!]

Summary: Hosuh and Stephen venture into a forest and discover a magical flower that tells them their greatest desires. What they find out is not what they expected. (Stosuh is in this story, but all relationships Daniel has in this fic is platonic only.)

Hosuh was never really the type to get lost. He is always extremely cautious every step he takes - especially when out in public settings or in crowds. He usually points something out in his mind that he can remember, and come back to later, so that he knows he's going the right way.

Stephen is a little more careless than Hosuh is with navigation, but it's still very unlike him to get lost. He has a great memory, so he usually just remembers where he came from the first time he heads to a place. Hence why he is - surprisingly - the most trusted person in the group for driving to places they've only been to once or twice.

So, naturally, when Stephen and Hosuh left the house in the morning while promising Daniel they'd be home before dark, he didn't think much of it. Until the night became darker. And darker. No Hosuh or Stephen to be seen out there.

Jay began to actually go outside in the streets to see if he could spot them still walking around outside. All Daniel needed was some closure that they were alright - he wasn't going to scold them for being late or whatever. Still, nobody to be found.

Jay was much calmer than Dan, as he did all he could to reassure him that they know what they're doing, and they're probably just still walking around and got sidetracked. While it did help reassure Dan that they're smart enough not to go off in a random direction and be kidnapped, it didn't completely reassure him than they didn't get kidnapped.

"Stephen?" Hosuh called out to the taller man who was in front of him. Said man turned around to face him and raised an eyebrow. "Shouldn't we g-go back? It's getting d-dark." Hosuh trembled on his words, the freezing cold of the forest clearly getting to them.

They ended up in the forest once Stephen swore to Hosuh that had saw something glowing in there. Hosuh, of course, wanting to find a logical explanation, said that it might be a fire. But Stephen insisted they go check it out - and so that lead them to wandering off into the damp woods.

"Hosuh, it'll be fine," Stephen grinned at him and turned back to where he was looking before, poking his head over a small bush to where he supposedly saw something glow. "Besides, we're adults. It's not like we're gonna get grounded or something for staying out to late."

This earned a chuckle from Hosuh; as he stiffened for a minute, and continued on while clutching his arms out of hope it would bring more heat to his body.

As they walked deeper and deeper into the forest, Hosuh actually began seeing a faint glow too. Every time it shone, the brightness of the glow seemed to be getting weaker and weaker. That was probably why Stephen could see it outside of the forest, maybe it was at it's brightest.

"You see that, Hosuh?" Stephen turned his head back to the silver-haired man trailing behind him. Hosuh nodded in return and quickened his walking speed, eventually reaching the bush the glowing was coming from.

Hosuh tilted his head as he hastily moved some leaves and branches out of the way to see what was happening, and when he got to the centre - which seemed to be the source of the glowing - he saw a flower. A bronze-coloured flower, actually, and it was glowing. Brightly.

"There's a flower... It's shining." After he said this, Stephen reached into the bush too so he could get a better look. Upon seeing exactly what Hosuh was seeing, he grabbed a petal of the flower and gently pulled it upwards, only to discover that the stem for this thing was longer than it seemed.

The glowing got progressively brighter the more it was pulled out from the leaves and branches, and when it was finally on top of it all, it was almost blinding.

"What... What is that?" Stephen mumbled, leaning closer to the flower. After a couple moments, he tried to grab it by the stem, he winced is a sharp thorn cut through his thumb.

As he brought it up to his face to get a better look at the cut, a small drop of blood landed on the flower. No big deal, right? Sure, it wouldn't have been, if the flower didn't start glowing pink instead of a blinding white.

Stephen's eyes widened as he stared at the flower, as the glowing became a small circle shape just above the flower as time passed. "The fuck...?"

Hosuh seemed to see the circle too, but for him, it wasn't pink. It was a type of baby blue colour to his eyes. But then shapes began appearing, and what was once a cluster of circles and triangles, became a singular image of Stephen. "Wait..."

Stephen's eyes were seeing an image of Hosuh on his side of the circle, as he took occasional glances towards Hosuh. "Do you know what this is?"

"It's... Have- have you ever read one of those mythology books? The ones you usually see in the back corner of a library?" Hosuh sheepishly smiled at the taller man, who nodded his head slightly.

"Yeah. They're full of shi-"

"This thing... Shows you a picture of what you want most. Like- like the mirror of erised, in Harry Potter." Upon hearing this, Stephen immediately shut up as he snapped his head back to stare at the image of Hosuh further.

Wait- that meant-

When the two boys headed out of the forest, they were completely silent. Stephen kept his head straight, while Hosuh would sneak periodic flustered looks in the purple-haired man's direction for the majority of the hike back home.

They were able to put the pieces together and figure out what each person saw after a while of stuttering and progressive flushing colour of faces throughout the 5 minutes it took them to figure it out.

Daniel's look of relief as soon as they entered the house was probably the most happy state the two had seen him in, and Jay just sort of shot him a look saying 'told you'.

Although there wasn't a word spoken between Hosuh and Stephen when they entered their home, they knew exactly what the other was thinking. It was as if they had some sort of spiritual connection between them now that had just been opened. They understood that both of them were too embarrassed to speak, and they were comfortable with that for a while.

"Hey, Hosuh?" Hosuh jumped at the sound of Stephen's voice. He instantly shot a timid smile over at him as he was approached.

"H-hey, Stephen."

"That was an eventful walk." Stephen chuckled, sitting down next to Hosuh, who chuckled along with him. He nodded in reply.

"It was." Hosuh agreed, letting the stillness fill the room for a second before responding again. "I liked it, though."

Stephen grinned and looked away. "Yeah, me too."

[And so it ends on an awkward conversation. Great job me, A+ for creativity. Anyway, you're gonna have to bear with me for a while, since these are all written on a phone. I'll be getting a laptop for Christmas, so you'll just have to wait :). Also before you start wondering, no, the erised flower is not an actual mythology. I made it up for the story. I know, shocking.]

Danplan Week [Day #7 Final] Danplan Fam

I am so honoured and thrilled to be part of this Danplan Week event with many good outcomes and motivation to try new things but what kept me going are the people who participated at this event with full of enthusiasm and efforts! Thank you all! (I am blessed)

This time, I got into experiments and mixed my knowledge about digital art which results a pretty good step up improvement!

I was planning to add the Animators+Ann as well (should draw Ann by my next art) yet sadly didnt get much time to do so. Anyway, shoutout to Stephen for his new channel (Actually Stephen) so go and subscribe so he could go back to Disneyland alone once again!
