Reading a lot of DPxDC fics lately, heres my take on the Danny is Damian's twin AU:

Danny was injured to near death and left for dead by the League as a young boy. Ra's only wanted one heir and Danny was less bloodthirsty than Damian, so it was decided that Danny had to go.

Danny is found and taken to a hospital in Illinois, barely alive. He is saved and wakes up with basically no memories of where he was from and speaking a rare dialect of arabic that none of the cops investigating his case can identify. What words Danny does know in english are concerning so the cops figure Danny was being held by some sort of murder, death cult.

The investigation runs cold and Danny is sent to foster care once his injuries heal. He is then adopted by the fentons and moves to Amity Park. As he grows the only clear memories he has of his past is another boy his age who he felt safe with. He knows the other boy is important to him but not why. He cant even really remember his face, certainly not his name. Danny always felt shitty that he couldnt remember the other boy because if he did, then the cops would have rescued him from the murder death cult too. Instead the other boy is presumably there and getting hurt all the time like Danny was.

Danny gets his powers like normal at 14 and decides that now that he has superpowers he absolutely has to save that other boy. Sam and Tucker help him gather clues, he starts to remember a bit more. He remembers the word ahki and realizes that the other boy is his brother!! Which just really enhances Dannys need to save him from the murder death cult. Eventually Tucker finds a picture of Damian Wayne and Danny is like thats him. Thats my brother.

Wait.

Bruce Wayne is his brothers dad???

Bruce Wayne is a rich fruitloop like Vlad obviously, so he is probably a member of the murder cult. Danny has to rescue his brother from the illuminati.

Cue Sam going to a socialite dinner in gotham much to her parents delight. Getting close to Damian by talking about animal rights, slipping him some sleeping pills in his vegan food. Tucker hacking into the gala and causing a commotion. Danny lugging an unconscious Damian out of the Gala and into the GAV ( no, his parents dont know why he borrowed the car or where he is).

Damian wakes up and immediately tries to attack Danny thinking hes a clone. Danny is like woah shit no its me! Its your brother. Damian is like Danyal is dead. Danny is like obviously not. Now chill out im rescuing you from the cult.

Damian, who has been secrectly mourning his twin for years, has never heard anyone call the League of Assassins a cult. He has to reevaluate a lot of things while Danny drives the GAV out of Gotham as fast as he can. Danny explains his whole backstory and how he is sorry he didnt come to save Damian earlier, his memories were gone but he had never forgotten how important Damian was to him. Damian doesnt do emotions on a good day and is unable to handle that like a normal person.

"Father isnt part of the cult, Danyal."

"Hes a billionaire from Gotham, of course he is!"

Damian who has fought many rich people from gotham, all of whom were evil, tries to find an explanation that isnt 'our dad is batman'. Danny isnt listening to any of it, promising Damian that he will be safe from the murder cult in Amity.

Damian eventually gets out that their mother was in the cult and their father didn't know about them. Danny pulls the GAV over and looks at Damian.

"Did i just kidnap you for no reason?"

"It was a kind gesture at least Danyal."

"Fuck. I just kidnapped bruce wayne's kid in the middle of a gala, am i super villain now?"

"Not if you take me home. Father will understand Danyal."

"I dont want to go to jail!"

Damian gives Danny the address to Wayne Manor and Danny drives to Bristol.

When they walk inside Damian now has to explain the whole 'had a dead brother i never told you about' thing to a less than amused batfam.

Danny introduces himself to Bruce and says that he has an adopted family back in illinois, but that he would be happy to get to know Bruce, also sorry about the kidnapping i dont normally do that i thought you were part of the illumimati and i had to rescue my brother.

Bruce just hopes this kid is normal.

oh hey i wanna talk abt smth thats been on my mind both lately and on and off for a while in general. sorry this ended up being a hella long post lol. but i have a lot to say

so...for context, ive been in the phandom for 10 years--since 2014--though it has admittedly been on and off in terms of engagement from me. in 2017 i got into dragon ball and all but dropped danny phantom completely with a few small drawings here and there. it was only like..within the past week that i actually got back into the phandom legitimately again, actively making art and posts about it and engaging with the source material and etc

anyway, i was obsessed with dp from 2014-late 2017 (until i got into dbz). i made lots and lots of fanart, played the gba games like all the damn time (i got to where i could speedrun tue lol), rewatched the show regularly...i was even one of those fans that bought obscure merch and learned useless trivia that ive since forgotten. in 2015 a lot of you may remember that i made @doppelgangercomic, a comic about an au i had where dan got a redemption arc (albeit a bumpy one) and future vlad was there and stuff happened (go read the comic LOL). it got a LOT of love and traction! it made me really happy to see all the positivity around my work like that :) i actually got a lot of positive responses towards my work in general. i had a really great time in the phandom back then

then i changed fandoms and kinda fell out of the phandom space. after being on a hiatus from the phandom until literally a week ago, i honestly have to say ive felt like i kind of...faded into obscurity in the phandom's eyes? basically i feel like old news. people dont generally know what doppelganger is now. they may have seen my art in passing here and there but they dont know who i am anymore. i think the only place people actively still find my old danny phantom art from when i was heavily active is...deviantart lol. i get notifications from favorites literally every day there. but uh anyway--im not saying this to garner pity or tell a sob story or anything! im just expressing some thoughts and feelings ive had for a long time lol.

the reason i bring this ^ up though, is because like...i know its not true? logically, i know that i DID make an impact in the fandom i loved/love so so much. i left my mark on both the fandom in an artistic sense, and also the people in the fandom, and sometimes i forget that because i get significantly less engagement on my posts than i used to. but i know that doesnt mean that people dont like my stuff anymore, or that ive been forgotten.

i actually got a message from someone today--a friend i made kinda recently who approached me bc they liked doppelganger actually. they told me that basically its surreal to them that theyre talking to me as a friend because they remember reading doppelganger when they were younger and looking up to me because of it. and it really reminded me of what i said previously--ive not been forgotten, and people still do appreciate and love what ive put out into the world (specifically about danny phantom in this case). ive made an impact on people's lives even when i dont realize it or see it physically. the message and sentiment made me feel really really good and nice and happy and honestly relieved, because the phandom and danny phantom as a media has been an extremely important and impactful part of my life ever since i got into it ten years ago. i literally changed my name to dan because of it lol. it was the reason i found stephen silver's work and went down that path of my art journey. its the reason i found so many amazing people and friends and artists and continue to do that even now. i owe a lot to danny phantom and the phandom as a whole, and i try to give back in the only ways i know how--mainly thru showing my passion through my art and posts.

anyway erm. yeah. all of this to say i wanted to thank yall--the phandom--for supporting me all this time, whether youve been with me from the beginning or if youre just joining me recently. youve been an absolute delight in my life and i know youll continue to be for a long time. :)

-Dani is danny's clone and is a girl? transgenderism....one of them has to be trans. or they both are.

-...they literally stole the infinity gauntlet from marvel and called it the reality gauntlet. is that legal. what the fuck. even with the gems in the lil slots, having different powers...they had freakshow in jail, but didnt check his pockets??! hes just still in his lil outfit??? what kind of ...oh, its in amity park. yeah, all of the adults are idiots, okay, sure.

'in the anemic flesh!' dude take some iron pills then. also, sure, the red eyes could be contacts for his aesthetic, but the whites of his eyes are yellow! does he have jaundice?! he severely needs more...like, every kind of vitamin. -I know, on a meta level the showrunners probably wanted to just reset things to the status quo of him having a secret identity. But. We've been doing that for (2) seasons, I'd love if season 3 could be like, his parents adjusting to this and trying way harder to learn more and accept it (and the shenanigans that could come from that) and for fun, if he didn't wipe the students memories, it could be him being popular for a while, then everyone slowly realizing, oh, he's still Danny. Like. he might have ghost powers but hes Just The Same Guy instead of putting him on a pedestal (and seeing them all try and help him hide it from the giw/people who don't know!!)

-fuck they didn't even explain WHY he wiped everyone except sam, tucker and jazz's memories. he just Did It right when his parents were saying they loved/accepted him!! and sam and tucker didnt question it at all!!! HELLO??? very annoyed about this turn of events.

ok the the first one is Royalty AU

first things first, when I say Royalty AU, I don't mean the classic shit we've all become accustomed to. Im talking about the good old Chinese royalty! And I want to emphasize that these guys will/should be dressed in century appropriate attire. As someone thats read a handful of 'marinette, princess of china' fics from the ML Fandom, I've noticed a common trend. Marinette wouldn't be in the culturally appropriate clothes, always ballgowns. Not that there's something wrong with it, its just most of if not all these fic are set in China, so I'd expect Chinese royalty to dress as THERE dress code calls for. And since this AU takes place far in the past like, it won't make sense for any of the characters to be in royal clothing that wasn't from there region. I'm not trying to white knight/gatekeeping. Im Guyanese not Chinese. But since JTTW and Monkie Kid take place in China, it's only right. In my opinion that it. You don't have to outright agree with me.

- the second he looks at MK, he's instantly in love. MK less so, he's nervous and honestly kinda bummed he's not marrying someone he loves but it's for the good of his ppl, and he'll do anything for them.

- RS isn't even aware that MK is Suns adopted son until MK walks him back to the meeting room.

"Oh There you are MK! I was about to have a servant go fetch you!" Sun Wukong says, gesturing for his boy to come sit with him.

"S-sorry for keeping you waiting I got caught up in my lessons with Mr. Tang" MK responds, sitting next to his father. Red Son looked gobsmacked. The beautiful young man he had bumped into, was the prince of this land? Damn, life truly blessed him. Or cursed him depending on how you looked at it.

- the two are left alone in a separate room for a while.

- And MK straight up tells RS why he's agreeing to this union.

"Look Red Son. I've dreamed about meeting my one true love for a while. And I would give almost anything for that dram to be real. But I wouldn't ever dare give up my people, for as there price they mean more to me. I'm doing this for them, no other reason" MK says, his back straight and hands folded neatly in his lap. The look in his eyes was a mix of sadness, but that was drowned out by loyalty and determination. It just made Red Son fall for him even harder. Clearing his throat Red spoke.

"I understand, for im doing this for the betterment of my people to. But I propose a wager"

"A wager?"

"Yes, if i can make you fall in love with me by years end, before our marriage, we can live together like in the fairy tales from far away. But if I fail, in a years time afterwards you will be permitted to find your own path in life" Red Son stated. MK took a moment to process what was happening.

"So, if you succeed in making me fall in love with you, before our marriage we can live happily ever after?" Red Son nodded in response, letting the younger continue.

"And if I shouldn't fall for you, in a years time after our union, im free to leave?" Red Son nodded once more.

"So, what do you say?"

"Deal"

In the end, your free to choose their fate, should Red Son win the hart of Mk? Will he fail? Or will he let him go, and let him travel the country, after all Mk's a free spirit and keeping him trapped in a big house is like keeping a cannery trapped in a cage only for its song, only for it to dul. Or will the unthinkable happen and will both boys find their freedom? together or appart? I don't know, because that's all up to you 😉

personally, I’m partial to where MK and Red Son both find freedom together. Like they straight up run away together to somewhere far away and just live out there lives together. 

this could also be genderbent thing as well. MK or Red as their respective counterparts. Again it doesn't have to be, but it’s whatever bro. im just spitting out the idea. 

Also, there is a main side plot that they fight the WBS throughout the year as well, along with other shenanigans you wanna throw in.

The second is a My Hero Academia/BNH/MHA AU

truth be told i'm not a big fan of MHA i think it to over hyped(this is also coming from the same person that’s a Fairy Tail fan lol), and the fandom i don't even know how to describe that mess, but I will admit not the whole of its toxic since every fandom has some toxic members, some even more so. 

I just sometimes find myself enjoying MHA AUs like the Fullmetal Alchemist, Danny Phantom, Evil!Deuk AU and several others. 

to make it clear I don't see this AU taking place the same time as the main plot of the actual Anime/Manga. This could be either like 6-10 years before or after the plot idk bro. But i’ll do this after the main story plot of MHA, so keep that in mind ya? another thing, the gang is still in China, the top hero school in the world just so happens to be in Japan, and it’s only ever mentioned by Sun wukong and other pro heros. So MK never attended AU. in short it’s only ever mention/ reference.

- Mk was considered Quirkless as a kid. 

- he was just a late blumer, i swear  

- Mai’s Quirk is called Dragon. 

- it pretty much works the same way as it does in the show(duh)

- Tang’s got a knowledge Quirk, 

- my man can retain information and he’s basically an archive of information drawback being his personality lol 

- Piggsy is a Animal that gained a Quirk

- in cannon to my current knowledge, there are two other characters that can confirm animals can become sentient. the characters being Fumikage Tokoyami, & Nezu the principal at the school UA.  

- Sandy is just Conner Kent, aka he like superman but can't fly, or shoot lasers from his eyes. And blue.  

I have two scenarios for Macaque and Wukong  

*- The first one is that, Sun Wukong & Macaque are brothers. twins to be exact. 

- they where legit people, but have mutation quirks that made them too like monkeys. 

- the added powers were just a boues. 

- Sun and Mac are close growing up, like there brothers but also best friends.

- the draw back to there quirks could honestly be whatever you want bro idk, same with the others tbh. Personally I like to think Sun just has lack of motivation, and Macaque needs to draw on other people's energy.

- Sun is a hero, Monkey KIng and Mac is a villain Six Eared.

- Sun was always treated has the golden child in the family, Mac always resented that, but there shitty up bring didn’t stop the two from being good brothers to one another.

- soon tho the resentment became hatred when Sun was able to attend UA in Japan, while Mac didn't.

- Mac be angy 

- so he became a villain, and joined the Chinese branch of the LOV(league of villains)

- Sun doesn't know this till he finds out during the all out war during the main story. and by that time he’s a full on hero with is own agency(The Flower Fruit agency)    

- when the hero's ultimately win and Mac is arrested 

- This ultimately hurts Sun a lot, his brother was in jail now, arrested for his involvement and wrong doings, he knew nothing about this! this brother, his blood. A bad guy? why? he hadn't seen his brother since he left for UA, he hadn’t seen him when he came home, and started his agency. 

- this just puts Sun into a funk so he’s not as active as he used to be, and he starts thinking he might need a successor 

*- The second one is that they were two separate people that had similar quirks and both attended UA but Sun ended up in the hero corse. so 1A.

- Both Macaque and Sun have similar quirks, Sun’s is obviously more light based while Macaque’s is more shadow based(this applies to the first one as well)    

- Macaque was placed in class 1B, U.A.’s High's Heroics Department, I believe, you can correct me. 

- In cannon Class 1A and 1B both went to the training camp. I can see the teachers pinning Sun and Macaque against each other to hone their skills. 

- And because of that they become great friends    

- In fact when they graduate they both co-found there hero agency together in China and are a duo.

- But due to Monkey King’s popularity and Six Eared's association with shadows(people sometimes saying he has more of a villains quirk than a heros) the public see’s Macaque as Sun’s sidekick when thats far from the truth. 

- now it’s up to you whether you think that Wukong and Macaque would be in a relationship together, but knowing how cooked we all are, ShadowPeach is a thing here more than likely. 

- If you do or don’t support/ like the ShadowPeach aspect, the two would be living together regardless since its more cost efficient. 

- They my be heroes but living costs are expensive!   

- I would imagine there would have been a huge fight/argument between the two in privet of course, at there home.(or in there shared office if you want the extra angst of the other people they work with hearing them fight)   

- If the two are dating, then this would either lead to an out right breakup, or Macaque just up and leaving with Wukong thinking he’ll come back once he’s cooled off. But after a week, with no sign of his partner, or him answering texts or calls, not even coming into work. Wukong gets worried that something might have happened to him. so there wouldn't be a confirmation if they were still a thing or not. 

- But Wukong remains hopeful, despite the nagging at the back of his head, and gut telling him to go find Macaque, or atleast make a public statement, or even just tell another pro hero about it.   

- on the not so shippy side, Macaque and Wukong still have there argument, and much like the ShadowPeach esc side, Macaque up and leaves, and isn't seen for weeks. the only difference here is that when Wukong comes home one night to there flat, most if not all of Macaques stuff is gone. 

- where as if this was the ShadowPeach side, Macaque leaves all of his possession in the flat he and wukong share. for the simple reason being, he still loves him and wants to go back, but Macaque being Macaque can’t bring himself to do it, especially after seeing just how hurt Wukong looked when he yelled at him just before he left.  

- in other words, ANGST DIALED UP TO A 10 BABY  

- in either case, its a news report that confirms Wukong's suspicions that he desperately didn’t want to believe, and that is Macaque turning into a villain.

- much like if the two were brothers, Wukong just can’t take it and is no longer as active as he once was, and is thinking about, either A) Retirement  B) Saying, “Fuck Society, Be Gay Do Crime” and join Macaque as a villain himself, or C) find a successor, and a way to bring Macaque back to there side, but most importantly, back to him.    

- also extra points if you're after people's hearts and want to make them suffer;  - If there dating, Wukong curle’s up in the bed he and Macaque shared, holding/wearing something of great value to Macaque and just crying himself to sleep, where as Macaque is getting wasted on alcohol, as he stumbles out of the bar he’s in, he either see’s something that reminds him of Wukong or while he’s trying to put his wallet back into his pocket, a photo of them on their first date fall’s out. and Macaque just cries in a nearby alley way. And it’s there where he gets indoctrinated into the League.

       - If there just friends, macaque heads to the nearest forest and just levels it, where as Wukong just gets engrossed into his work, trying not to think about it. you could add you own spin on this, again i'm just spitballing.             

- NOW BACK TO MK! :D     

- Obviously MK is a huge Monkey King fan     

- at Twenty MK has come to terms he's quirkless (HE’S NOT)

-for ANGST reasons MKs fokes kicked him out at this realization at 13.

- he works at Piggsy's Noodle shop, and has been since he was 14.

- don't need a quirk to drive or cook!

- the boy lives a content life with his new family, till DBK happens :D

- DBK runs a Mafia(in conjunction with TLOV) and has been in jail for like 5 years thanks to Monkey King, PIF and RS brake him out one night when MK's out making a late night delivery since Piggsy had the bright idea to go 24/7 service!

- one thing leads to another and Mk somehow manifest what looks like the Monkey King's staff, but its not, it’s MKs powers, it just so happens to be the same power the Monkey King has. And it practically goes down the same way in the pilot. 

- but unlike the pilot Mk and Mei go straight to the FF Agency, after making a panicked call to Pigsy and Tang.

- one way or another Mk are lead into Wukongs office. Mei being forced to stay in the lobby.

- they have there convo, butterfly monkey squishing included.

- "And so, I want you do be my success-" BOOM 💥

- from there they rush downstairs and see that the lobby has been infiltrated by the DB fam, and you know fight.

- once the DB family seems like there down, PIF wisks them away. Much to Monkey King’s displeasure.

From there stuff kind plays out like cannon, the calabash ep is just a conjoint quirk the Demon bros have. As for EP9, ill have to script that one out myself lol. I'll get onto it as soon as my will to commit stabs me in the face. Till then have a dancing Kermit the frog.

Uhm, my day was decent? I mean aside from the fact that mornings exist and I did not want to wake up in time for my shift at work. But. And the end of the day when I have literal hours to do stuff after.. it works out cuz. Usually I get off and its oh shit I have enough time to halfway emotionally recharge and then its time for bed.

But. I got in and E^2 had put like. My name down on the schedule, and. That was great really. And we had this sheet for sign up of, basically what areas you want to be personally responsible for. And I signed light and it was great. And I dont think anyone really noticed cuz the manager wasn't there and no one else really looked at the schedule or anything else. But. It made me happy.

Still haven't gotten my name tag changed and honestly I dont think I'm going to. Cuz. I feel like I'm just being a bother asking again. But. It is what it is I guess.

I got off at five and its now nine and ive just been vibing in the car listening and singing to Spotify since I got off just trying to keep the sad at bay. And I should probably go home but. I dont want to. Cuz I know I'm just gonna wallow in the sad and self destructive tendencies if i go home.. If I ask nicely will the fae take me in as one of their own and I can become a cryptid in the woods?????

I have a three day weekend coming up and im considering doing a touch up on my hair since its really washed out. But I cant decide if I wanna keep it fully red or try and do like an ombre double tone thingy.. but I'm not sure what other color I'd try to do to the tips? Idk

I kinda wish my hair was longer so I could do like. The galaxy hair thing? Where its various shades of purple and blue and some pink and it looks different depending on how you style it. My day was actually mostly ok, i just sorta ruined it with Danny at home. I just pointed out that the idealized dream band life that I wanted and thought I had was what she got and that it made me kinda jealous and she pointed out (correctly) that I'm jealous of so many aspects of her life that she now has a list of things she can't talk to me about for fear of setting me into a spiral and just. Yeah. That wasnt fun.

But work was ok. The kids all were really tierd so there was a fair bit of crying going on, but the weather was really nice so we got to go outside with them for a long time and that was very nice. I also got some really sweet cuddles from a few of them that made me very happy.

Oh! I also have a funny story about them!! So I was squatting (my main position is almost like Spiderman bc I'm down on the kids' level but i can also get up and move if I need to pretty quick) and one of the girls goes and gets a book, then stands right in front of me and points at the floor and says "sit" in the most authoritative voice I have ever hear from a 1 1/2 year old 😂 as soon as I sat down she was in my lap and opening the book so I could read to her.

As far as headcanons.... Sadly my brain is bouncimg mostly art ideas for the Tamgled au and not anything of substance so I may take a crack at that later. Otherwise I keep thinking about whumped up Will crying on the floor and Maurie finding him. Really I'm just thinking about Maurie and Will being bros. A lot. So much. God I love them.

theres definitely a Lot of changes over time but also a Lot of overlap

Lab vibes/aesthetics are v self explanatory I think? Hospitals vibes and white tiles, blood stains against pure white and the awful stench of chemicals, water dripping from everything and flames that reach the ceiling, cages and bars and locked doors, an overwhelming feeling of being small

Stranger things timeline generally has general 80s vibes, bright colors and weird patterns, messy hair and chewing gum, turtlenecks and suspenders (both copied from his sister's wardrobe), scraped knees and being covered in dirt, the feeling of being an outcast, a look in his eye thats hauntingly sad, never being quite enough, calling for help and never getting it, hours spent at school and nothing ever making sense, mashed potatoes for almost every meal, footsteps so quiet that no one knows hes there, a childhood thats not quite right, like liminal spaces

modern teen jason is a much happier vibe. bright colors and excited noises, cue cards with animals and letters, fridge magnets in the shapes of letters and numbers that are big and bulky and rainbow colored, messy bedroom where everything is somehow in a specific place, lots of soft toys, giant legos that dont require much fine motor skills, a house that looks like a teenager and a toddler share a room, excitedly showing off what he's learning, hours and hours spent in silence at school but with promising grades, feeling younger and older than everyone else, a fear of anything resembling the lab, flanking science because the class gives him a panic attack, minecraft music on repeat, kids shows in the middle of the night, buying things from infomercials, texts made up of emojis, multiple kinds of therapy multiple times a week, parents with money to burn, sunshine in human form, stealing stiles's clothes

miss x rambling

OK so this isnt gonna be a real theory or an au or anything serious cause frankly i dont believe that what im about to write is true, but i like the idea so might as well do this

a while ago i found out about Miss X who is an alter ego of Iori Yagami from King of Fighters made for a silly spin off title called SNK Gal’s fighters for the neo geo pocket. The most predictable followup to this information is that i think Iori is trans and yeah this is going to be about “what if Iori trans tho”

As i said i don’t actually think SNK did the wokest move of the 90s of making the most popular character in KOF trans so this isn’t me giving credit for them for something they didnt do, and its also not me trying to reach that even as a mistake they undeniably made Iori trans (cause they didnt). 

Ive just been getting invested in KOF/SNK lore and happened to notice aspects of Iori and Miss X’s portrayal that just makes some sense when i think about it in the context of Iori being trans (kinda like somehow the Danny Phantom writers accidentally made Danny have a lot of transmasc traits)

im referring to Iori with he/him and to Miss X with she/her. every piece of evidence is gonna be in bold letters

Iori is not that deep of a character, he’s the rival of the series’ first protagonist Kyo Kusanagi and has a beef with him cause the Yagami and the Kusanagi had always had beef in the past, this story is more like an excuse for Kyo to have a rival so they literally put Iori in the “Rival Team” of King of Fighters 95 (thats how you know hes the rival)   

That alone is a passable backstory for a rival but for some reason instead of Iori being this prideful family member who’s carrying the torch for them, he doesn’t like them at all. Iori’s ancestors, the Yasakani clan, made a pact with the divine being Orochi, causing all of them to gain the power of controlling purple flames but leaving them with the curse of always dying young and having every mother die when giving birth. He doesn’t really give a shit about whatever family agenda he was born with cause its all really stupid.

But then what’s his deal with Kyo?? It’s unexplained, he just seems to hate him to a point where he gets into the KoF tournaments just to fight him. His lists of likes and dislikes include liking nothing special and disliking violence. He’s not the guy who will turn into a pro fighter just for one person but Kyo just does it for him.

That leads me to believe he really likes being with Kyo. Not as a lover, well maybe, but i think what he calls “hatred” for Kyo might be his unhealthy way of dealing with the immense repression of feelings he lives with.

Another side effect of getting the flames powers from Orochi was that the Yagami have a mental state called Riot of the Blood, which makes them go bersek with power and making them unnable to tell friend and foe apart. Iori lives with “Orichi Iori” inside his mind and that makes him have an identity crisis

I’m not saying that “Orochi Iori”, the bloodthirsty demon is Iori’s repressed trans identity please don’t get this idea

I believe the Orochi in him makes him lose interest in being sociable, why go as far as switching your identity and looks if you don’t want anyone to be around you?

As main KoF lore goes thats about all the hints there are, but what about the silly spin offs?

They aren’t canon of course! But i like to see their content as a representation of a dorky “seriousness-free” side of the characters instead of just nonsense bs

Miss X, who again is Iori in disguise, is the hostess and final boss of the girls only Gals Fighters tournament

Even she’s recognized she keeps it going, she wants to fight as Miss X! in her own tournament!

This scene is a favorite of mine cause i always caption it with “me coming out with my supportive friends” and honestly thats the only vibe i can get from Miss X doing sentai poses with all her teammates

These are from a dream sequence that we get after beating Snk Heroines Tag Team Frenzy! A fairly recent game and the second playable appearance of Miss X. In my pov, they were based on Iori’s repressed feelings for Kyo as a friend that i talked about earlier. I thought this could be a stretch, but Leona’s dream sequence in the same game has the same idea and shows her a nightmare that came from her fear of going berserk and harming her friends

Well that’s about it. I wouldn’t expect any of this to be canon and I’m not even sure i want it to cause y’know, mainstream media and specifically japanese video games aren’t the best at representing trans folk

But it’s a fun little idea and “clone characters but with a twist and a different moveset” are some of my favorite fighting game characters so i hope Miss X appears in more SNK games

Been talking a lot about Emmett lately, and I was inspired today to write something starring everyone’s favorite twelve-toed nervous boy.  So, here’s Emmett in the Superhero/villain AU, accidentally using his powers to control his dad.

              “Emmett.”  Emmett looked up from his comic book.  His dad stood in front of him, visibly furious.  He swallowed nervously and set the comic book down.

              “Hi, Dad.”

              “Wanna tell me why you weren’t at boxing?” Stan demanded.

              “I was,” Emmett lied.

              “Then how come when I stopped by to surprise you and your sister, you weren’t there?”

              “I left early.”

              “I showed up early,” Stan said, crossing his arms.  Emmett looked away.  “You gotta stop skipping, kid.”

              “I don’t like it,” Emmett mumbled.  Stan let out a sigh and sat next to Emmett on the couch.

              “I know.  And that’s fine.  Your Uncle Ford didn’t like it, either.  Neither did I, when I started.”

              “Wait, really?” Emmett asked.  Stan nodded.

              “I hated it.  But my dad kept making me go.  It was the only good thing he ever did for me.  I had to learn how to protect myself and Ford.”

              “I don’t want to go.”

              “You need to learn some self-defense skills.”

              “You never made Danny or Daisy learn how to protect themselves.”

              “They didn’t get picked on as much as you and Emily.”

              “I don’t get picked on.”

              “You came home from school with a black eye last week.”  Stan sighed. “Your ma and I made complaints and everything, but schools don’t like stopping bullies.  That’s why you need to learn how to do it yourself.”

              “I already do ballet-” Emmett started.

              “And that’s good.  I’m proud of you,” Stan said.  “Ballet is tough.”  He put a hand on Emmett’s shoulder.  “But it’s not gonna do squat to protect you.  What are you gonna do if someone comes after you or Emily?  A fancy jump?  Some sorta twirl?”

              “Dad, I’m not gonna go anymore,” Emmett said firmly.  Stan scowled at him.  “I mean it. I don’t care how much you look at me with that face.”

              “And I don’t care that you don’t want to.  It’s for your own good.”

              “Dad-”

              “When you were five, and you hated broccoli, do you think I let you not eat it, just ‘cause you didn’t like it?  No. I made sure you cleaned your plate. This is the same thing,” Stan said. Emmett jumped to his feet.

              “You can’t make me go!” Emmett yelled.  Stan slowly stood.

              “Don’t take that tone with me.”

              “Even if you keep signin’ me up, I’ll keep skippin’.  Even if ya drop me off, I’ll leave.  I don’t want to do it anymore!  It’s- you might think it’s good to force me to do something I don’t like, but it’s not!  I hate it!”

              “Emmett-”

              “Do you really wanna do something Grandpa did?” Emmett asked.  Stan’s face went red.

              “That’s it!” Stan rumbled.  Emmett froze. “Go to your room.  Now.”

              “But-”

              “Now,” Stan growled.  “I’ll figure out your punishment for talking to me like that later.”  Emmett stormed off.  He passed Emily on the stairs.  She didn’t bother to pretend she hadn’t been eavesdropping.

              “Emmett, that was bad,” she whispered.

              “I know.  He needs to stop makin’ me go to those stupid lessons.”

              “No, not-”  Emily grimaced.  “You know how much Dad hates Grandpa.  Why’d you compare Dad to him?”

              “Yeah, well, he should stop doin’ stuff that Grandpa did,” Emmett muttered.

              “I can hear you,” Stan said loudly.  “Emmett, go to your room.  Emily, go…weed the garden or somethin’.  Do some chores.”

              “Okay, Dad.”  Emily glanced at Emmett warningly before heading downstairs.  Emmett stuffed his hands in his pockets and finished going to his room. He slammed the door shut.

              “Don’t slam doors!” Stan shouted from downstairs.

              “Ugh!”  Emmett threw himself onto his bed, burying his face into his pillows.

              I hate this.  I hate it.  I just wish Dad would throw himself off the tallest building he could find.

              A door downstairs opened and closed.

              “Emmett Stanley McGucket!”  Emmett jerked instinctively at the sound of his full name being shouted from downstairs. The movement left a large streak across the math sheet he had been working on.

              “Great,” he muttered.  “Ma’s home.”

              Dad definitely told her what happened.  Now I get to hear the second part of the riot act.

              “Emmett!  Get down here!  Now!” Angie yelled.  Emmett reluctantly shuffled out of his room and down to the first floor.

              “Ford, hold him down,” a voice said.  Emmett paused at the foot of the stairs.

              Uncle Lute?

              “I am holding him down,” a second voice snapped.  “At least we finally got the dampeners on him.”

              Uncle Ford, too?  There was a crash from the kitchen.  What’s goin’ on?

              “Where is that boy?” Lute’s voice asked.

              “I don’t-”  Angie stormed out of the kitchen.  She was still in her villainy duds, but had removed her cowl.  She spotted Emmett by the stairs.  “Emmett.  Come here.” Emmett felt a gust of wind push him towards the kitchen.

              “You’re not gonna let me go on my own?” Emmett asked.  Angie scowled.

              “I’m not takin’ any chances.”

              “Ma, I know that I skipped, and you’re angry,” Emmett started, following her into the kitchen.  “But-” He froze.  Lute and Ford were struggling to hold Stan down on the ground. His uncles had clearly been fighting to restrain Stan for quite some time; both their clothes were singed, and Ford had a bruise beginning to form on his cheek.  “Wha- what happened?”

              “You tell me,” Angie snapped.  “What command did you give yer father this time?”

              “Command?  I-” Emmett’s blood ran cold.  He stepped a bit closer to look at his father’s eyes.  His pupils were dilated, the sure sign that he had been commanded by Emmett.  Emmett swallowed.  “I- I didn’t mean-”

              “I saw him runnin’ ‘round town,” Lute said.  “He seemed a bit off, so I got a closer look and saw his eyes.  Knew right then it was yer handiwork, Emmett.”  Emmett covered his mouth.  “What?”

              “I wanted him to jump off the tallest building he could find,” Emmett whispered.  “I was just- I was angry at him, I-”

              “Yes, yes, this is important information,” Ford interjected.  He narrowly avoided another punch from Stan. “But I think it can wait until after you free Stan from your command.”

              “I don’t know how.”

              “That’s not an option right now,” Angie said firmly.  Emmett looked at his mom.  “Fix it.”

              It took fifteen minutes for Emmett to reverse the command, upon which he was promptly sent to the living room, so that the adults could discuss what they were going to do.  Ten minutes after that, Emmett got called to the kitchen again.  He joined his parents at the table, not making eye contact with either of them.

              “Uncle Ford and Uncle Lute are gone?” he asked quietly.

              “Yes,” Angie said.  She clasped her hands.  “Emmett…”

              “I didn’t mean to!” Emmett wailed.

              “Hey, hey,” Stan said, reaching a hand out to Emmett.  “It’s okay, kiddo.”

              “No, it’s not.  I- I was mad and I- I wanted you to jump off a building and-”

              “Why weren’t you wearing the power dampeners?” Stan asked.

              “I couldn’t find ‘em.”

              “Yeah, you’re pretty good at losing them.”

              “I’m so sorry, Dad!  I didn’t want you to get hurt!  I just have mean thoughts sometimes.”

              “Everybody does,” Angie said softly.  She let out a sigh.  “But yer thoughts are awful powerful, honey.”

              “I didn’t mean to!” Emmett repeated.

              “It’s okay, sport.”  Stan grinned, but it was clearly forced.  “It’s kinda my fault, anyways.  You got my silver tongue.”  Emmett looked away.

              “Now’s not the time, Stanley,” Angie said quietly.  Stan sighed.

              “Right.”

              “Emmett, yer goin’ to be punished,” Angie said.  Emmett nodded.  “But we’re goin’ to take the fact that it was an accident into consideration.”

              “It’d be better if I didn’t have any powers at all,” Emmett mumbled.

              “Don’t say that,” Stan said.  “Yeah, yours are a bit tough.  But we’ll figure it out.”

              “If you say so.”

              “And in the meantime…”  Stan looked at Angie.  She nodded. “We’re gonna make you switch schools.” Emmett gaped at Stan.

              “What?”

              “The school yer at right now isn’t equipped to handle someone with yer abilities,” Angie said.  “That wouldn’t be a problem, except that ya keep losin’ the dampeners.”

              “I don’t-”

              “I know ya don’t mean to.  But after today, we have to start makin’ decisions ‘bout what’s best fer you and everyone around you.  So we’ll be sendin’ ya to Sycamore Grove.”

              “Wh- the high school for villains?” Emmett squeaked.  Angie and Stan nodded.

              “I’m not happy about it,” Stan said quietly.  “But it’s what needs to happen.  The teachers there are used to students with powers like yours.”

              “It’ll be fine, sweetie,” Angie said gently.  Emmett hung his head.

              “If you say so.”

              “I do have some good news for you,” Stan said.

              “What?”

              “We’re gonna pull you out of boxing lessons.”  Emmett’s head whipped up.  He stared.  “I still think it’s good for you.  But you’re already dealing with stuff, and being forced to do somethin’ you hate isn’t gonna help.”  Stan rubbed the back of his neck.  “I know that from experience.”  Emmett nodded.  “Go to your room while we talk about your punishment.”  Stan looked around the kitchen.  There were a few scorch marks on the walls and floor, and a chair had broken. “And while we clean up.  Man, I made a mess.”

              “Pretty sure it’s technically my mess,” Emmett said.  Stan rolled his eyes.

              “C’mon, kid.  How many times do I have to tell you – if you can get outta being blamed for something, take it!  Even if it’s technically your fault.”  Emmett quirked a small grin.  “Now, go to your room.  We’ll come get you in a bit.”

Concept: A Halfa Troll. Thoughts? Also, what do you think they would look like?

Well, as far as what a halfa troll would look like, I picture the changes being kind of similar to the rules Danny and Vlad have applied to them (since they’re the two most developed halfas in the show). If, for example, Jim became half ghost after being turned into a troll by Merlin, he’d physically look pretty similar to his non-ghost half for a while (like how Danny just has the hair color and outfit change, plus the usual ghost powers, and he has his powers for over a year at least during the course of the show). Concept of what a Troll Jim Halfa may look like is as follows:

(Jim’s armor would change in design, almost definitely, but I didn’t have the energy to redesign it. Sorry.) But if there’s a troll that’s been a halfa for much longer, who knows how their appearance will change! Vlad Plasmius’s appearance really shifted over the course of twenty years of villainy and very shady choices, and the evil within him became physicalized in his ghost form. Since, quite literally, the only examples we have of older halfas/humans turned ghosts are evil villains who are constantly attacking Amity Park/Danny, it’s unclear how the show’s canon dictates the long-term effects on halfas. Suffice to say, there’s a lot of wiggle room there, and a grand possibility for headcanons… though I haven’t come up with any of my own yet.

And then there’s the side where you’ve got to consider how the powers overlap with trolls’ weaknesses and strengths. How exactly do they fare in sunlight? Does simply the act of turning into a ghost affect how the sun feels on their skin? If they used ghost powers to turn invisible, would it make the sunlight go through their form and not affect them? These are questions I don’t have definite answers to. But it’s REALLY intriguing.

If I wrote this into an AU (which I may very well do if I remember it when I have the time), I’d say that they’d still be harmed by sunlight in their ghost form, because they’re still the ghost of a troll. But the sunlight wouldn’t turn them to stone if they turned invisible first, because scientifically speaking (yeah, because this whole thing is REAL sciencey), light isn’t really touching them, it’s going through them.

Okay, I’m kind of losing steam on this one, so I’ll stop here for now. There’s a lot more I know I’m not touching on, and I’ll probably revisit this later, ‘cause the idea is pretty cool. Thanks for the ask, Yeet!

I hadnt even considered the possibility of vlad actually succeeding for real but that would be so good! Vlad would obviously use underhanded methods (mind control or something that makes the wearer trust more easily or maybe even doing a memory wipe on danny and starting with a clean slate?) but clockwork going absolutely ape shit on vlad afterwards with Offensive time powers????

That opens a whole new realm of possibilities; since he cant stop time to affect vlad, he’d probably have to do something more creative like speeding time on himself to move faster; distorting time around vlad instead of on him to mess him up; pariah cant help with fighting vlad cause hes dealing with the observants so when pariah comes back to see clockwork behaving so much like the chaos the ancients spawned from (rather than the cool and controlled “all knowing” time keeper) hes gonna be flustered

I cant see clockwork actually going through with killing vlad but ghost jail? For ghost crimes? That would make sense

The unlucky observants who had to deal with pariah on the other hand… yea, theyre gonna be more dead than they already were

Meanwhile danny’s ghost friends/enemies would be working with sam, tucker, and jazz to help him gain his memories back by traveling to the place where forgotten things are found (in fanfics i see ppl reference a river that makes you forget? So there must be a place where youre able to access what you’ve forgotten) and this is where danny has to do some internal work to find his memories and also ends up learning the memories of his past life

I imagine that danny, even without memories, would still be connected to clockwork and pariah (since they havent been destroyed) and feeling hints of their anger (and anxiety?) and would feel off or wrong about being with vlad in a way he cant figure out. He was told to stay put while vlad took care of the things he had to do, but of course it doesnt go like that cause danny doesnt listen and ends up trying to figure stuff out for himself

And then, with danny having his memories from both lives, the conflict between his feelings for his original parents vs his human ones will come into play and he feels like he has to pick between them and he really wants to go with his ghost parents cause they treat him so well, but he feels bad just abandoning his human ones and his feelings might be more complex depending on where the fenton parents on the bad to good parents scale for this au

What are your thoughts on how the fenton parents are for this au?

Danny waking up to see pariah proposing would be hilarious and i think it would be highlighted even more if thats a memory he has from his past life; pariah, known for proposing to clockwork again and again whenever his emotions towards clockwork get the best of him; pariah being a romantic at heart kinda guy and clockwork being mischievous would create fun dynamic too

With everything going on and danny being in the center of it, theres the potential for an identity reveal

If the fentons try to “protect” danny from the “evil ghosts” who are very obviously after him, it would create problems cause danny doesnt want either of them to get hurt; and then there’s the question: do the ghost weapons actually cause damage to the ancients? Or are they so high level that the ghost weapons dont do anything but sting a little?

Then theres the entirety of amity park watching this go down on the news and seeing danny fenton in the center of it; an identity reveal seems almost inevitable really cause how else would danny explain this situation (with the truth or a really bad lie made under pressure)

I love the idea that fright knight is just done with the whole thing and going along cause its related to his obsession to serve the king (maybe? Idk yet why fright knight serves pariah) and, when hes not being forced to baby sit, hes just enjoying the chaos unfolding

Not sure whether fright knight would be helping pariah take down the observants, back up clockwork when fighting vlad, or be accompanying danny, sam, and tucker but most likely the latter cause of pariah and clockwork wanting their safety

My head has been on blast with ideas after reading your post about danny being clockwork and pariahs kid reincarnated; there is so much potential with that

Clockwork and pariah being mad at the observants cause they had to have known that danny was their kid reincarnated and must have blocked clockwork’s sight so he wouldnt realize that danny is his kid so he would actually end up killing danny, but danny reminding him so much of pariah made him reconsider and also after losing a kid he wouldnt dare take the life of one if he could avoid it

Of course the observants would need a reason to want to have danny killed and maybe its cause they knew that if he wasnt, that theyd be found out and murdered so they keep trying to get him killed and are hostile towards danny in most interactions; maybe the even staged the whole thing that lead to him becoming evil so that theyd have a reason to have danny killed?

Then theres finding out what really happened that caused danny to get killed in his past life and getting justice for that

Im thinking that pariah’s more of an ancient than a ghost of a person since hes with clockwork; his obsession would probably be something related to justice and order and having his kid die? With an obsession related to justice? It would make sense for him to go to the extreme with it and seek vengeance and justice for his child

The potential for this whole thing to be orchestrated by the observants who saw that, if the timeline continued as it was with pariah having a good reign as king, that theyd lose power and, cause they didnt want that, they had planned on killing pariah but, as you stated, that fails and they realize that killing the kid would grant them the same effect and going for that or maybe danny wouldve died cause he tried to protect his dad? Depends on how old he is when he’d died; i think you said he died young so theres the guilt potential if he wasnt old enough to have his own persona yet (like a toddler or elementary school child) but then there’s also the guilt potential if hes a rebellious? Or reckless? Kid whos trying to get the attention of his (too busy) parents so when he catches the attack on his dad of course he tries to stop it and dies and then theres the potential for parental guilt due to this

In the later scenario, it’d actually be better if the observants didnt plan to kill the child and, because it happened, they realized they could take advantage of the ensuing fallout that ultimately leads to pariah dark being sealed away, the observants retaining their power, and clockwork being so focused on his duty and his grief that he doesnt really try anything to stop them

The observants potentially having a hold over clockwork due to some oath form the past would add to the plot and make it so its not just easy destruction; pariah having to redeem himself to the allies he turned against and no longer having the power of the crown or ring of rage would also be important for creating a fun and interesting plot

I love the idea of danny just going with the flow of it cause his core makes him trust them; there was a fanfic i read a long while back where danny was the reincarnation of a prior heir to the ghost throne and how he had started getting dreams that felt like memories or had things that occurred that reminded him of certain things from his past life; im almost wondering if this would be a fun addition to this au or if he’d be too young to have memories at all from his past life

Then theres the other ghosts realizing theyd fucked up big time which is hilarious cause on one hand, angry pariah and clockwork, but also danny wouldnt let them harm the other ghosts so theyd obviously relent for their baby boy; but maybe there’d be some kind of camaraderie that occurs due to this? Maybe skulker helping them uncover the truth or something like that? Idk yet

But the whole plot with the fentons??? That’s gonna be crazy and no doubt stressful for danny cause on one hand, his parents are all he knows even though he knows they arent the best; but on the other hand, clockwork and pariah treat him well and he feels safe with them and something about them is so familiar and he doesnt quite understand it; im wondering if maybe his appearance will change now that his core is connected to his parents? Then theres the ghost biology stuff to consider; is he absorbing ectoplasm from his parents now that the connection is there? Does he gain powers that his parents have due to this? Does he get more powerful now that his ghost half is eating properly?

And when he learns whats going on?? That’s gonna be a lot for him to digest; of course danny wants to help his parents again but theyre wayyy more protective this time around so danny, being who he is, will most definitely get into shenanigans that he shouldnt be getting into which both stresses out clockwork and makes pariah proud cause hes so much like pariah even if he doesnt remember everything

Dani getting added into the mix later on and clockwork and pariah being ecstatic about it; then that creates the question of how are ghost children formed? Their two ancients formed of ideas; is it something that happens cause they wish for it and the ghost zone answers their wish? Is it a sharing of ectoplasm that forms another being that they nurse until it forms into its own being?

And of course, with the fentons being as they are and clockwork and pariah not being cool with it, there’d be the anxiety that danny would have to go through with managing how to handle that whole scenario and being conflicted about what to do; im sure jazz would be involved with this in some way or form as he figures out how the family situation is going to be after this

Hey there! Thank you so much I’m glad you like the AU idea. Sorry I am not planning on writing a fic on this AU sorry.

Yeah I thought that somehow Clockwork’s sight being blocked, like the Observants saw that and put all their effort into making sure that one detail could not be seen, like instead just being static.

The observants would probably want Danny out of the picture because if CW and Pariah find out about him being their kid then that would encourage them to work together again and be a united front and if they worked together again all the other ancients could follow and all the ancients together against them could overthrow them (It’s why they were most definitely not so sad about Pariah going mad the first time after all CW was broken after losing his son and husband and defiantly less inclined to ’act out’ and all the other ancients split apart and the observants were still in power)

I don’t think they’d have been able to interfere and act on making Danny into Dan but definitely saw that one future and pointed it out to clockwork the one who could interact and try to make sure he’s taken care of and pushed very very hard for CW to ‘take care of it’ him not was worrying but…. CW met the boy and didn’t realize so they didn’t think there was a way for CW to realize, both parents met him and didn’t realize they must have gotten off scot-free…and then Vlad did the core thing.

YES! Pariah being a ghost of order/justice is so good him losing his Kid pushing his obsession his domain/powers to the extreme and him becoming a tyrant that is such a good idea.

I defiantly pictured Danny being a toddler or very young child killed in some almost assassination against Pariah…which would totally feed into that justice/order obsession or even protection obsession.

(Or perhaps Ghost Hunters which would make things so interesting with the Fenton’s)

I think the observants didn’t plan but totally took advantage of it like I said before it fractured the ancients and ensured their continued position and power…. It’s why they didn’t exactly warn either parent about what they observed or the possibility.

 Oh clockwork having a vow to the Observants is so interesting, and that fic sounds really cool.

Oh yeah all the other ghosts realizing and freaking the FUCK OUT, they would totally help Pariah and Clockwork out and please Phantom tell them not to kill us…please.

Oh yep the Fenton thing would be very awkward (Especially if it was ghosthunters who killed Danny before) he’d defiantly develop different powers maybe completely different from both parents (He could have space powers maybe that would play into the space obsession Danny AU’s) I think he was already much more powerful than an average ghost or halfa but the core connection definitely speed the powers up.

Yeo all of this would be a lot for him, but at least now support structure to help him with everything, 2 very overprotective parents (Overprotective being an understatement) ….and fright knight stuck as babysitter/bodyguard, Fright Knight is stuck keeping Danny out of shenanigans and that is a full-time job and if he wasn’t already dead he would have died of the many heart attacks Danny has given him.

Clockwork is stressed but overly fond because yeah Danny is much like Pariah and him but also stressed out because oh god he’s so much like Pariah and him. Pariah is the parent whose told your son got into a fight and asks did he win? (Although either way he would obliterate whoever fought his son)

Yep Dani getting to the mixed would be so fun. Not sure about the ghost thing maybe core’s mixing between mates?

I can see Jazz somehow getting adopted by Pariah and CW to, her looking over the political state of the infinite realms and coming up with ideas.

So one of the things I thought, was like.. Okay, so you know that one AU where characters have like, a clock or timer or whatever on them that counts down until their death day? Like just something thats on the inside of their wrist or something. What if it was a thing in the DP universe?? Like there could be so many inconsistancies with it and people would notice and get suspicious about it. Like say, Jack and Maddie, when Danny was born, they looked at the time he had, and noticed it was a /much/ smaller number than Jazz's and like, maybe marked that day on a calander or wrote it down, 14 years from when he was born, like theyre devastated that their baby boy is gonna die so young. So fast forward to 14 years later, Danny's final day is coming up and he knows it, and its the same day his parents finish the portal, and because of how disappointed and focused his parents were, they forgot today was his death day, and y'know, Danny goes into the portal, and dies, becomes a half ghost and whatnot, and comes out okay and not dead and still human. Danny obviously notices first, notices his timer had reached zero, and was now instead an infinity sign, and hes freaking out like what is that suppose to mean, i actually cheated death and im still alive and my timers not working am i gonna live forever? And theres just no answer for it. So he does everything he can to hide the time from others. And when his parents remember and come to their senses again that Dannys alive and well, a couple days after his supposed death day, theyre utterly confused, yet blessed that their son is alive because itd never been heard of that someone lived past their time. Fast forward a while more to the CAT exams, dannys parents and his friends timers are counting down to their final moments, as well as mr. Lancers. Theyre aware of it, and theres no escaping it and then theyre at the nasty burger when it explodes and they die. But then when clockwork goes and changes things and fixes their fate and tampers with the times and all, and they all end up coming out okay, they took the exam as normal and all, but all 5 of them are confused because they were absolutely sure that day was gonna be their last, but yet each of them had changed times, extended to go for the rest of their lives and they dont know how it happened. Eventually Danny finds out that Vlad had been hiding his timer because it said the exact same as Danny's and he was scared of what it had meant too, and danny feels better that hes not the only one whos like that and doesnt have to worry about forever by himself.
