Danny Darling headcanons;

His full name is Daniel Cooper Stuart-Darling of Darling Coast, but he prefers to go by Danny.

He was born and raised in Darling Coast by his parents—Wendy Darling and Edward Stuart.

He is 19 years old by the time the events of the Pocket Watch/Rise of Red take place.

He has two older siblings—Jane (34) and William (26).

Danny also has 7 first cousins (Jeremiah, Wilma, Diana, Moria, Jamie, Wallace, and Dalton) and 5 second cousins (Millie, Conrad, Chains, Shelly, and Warpaint).

He is quite close to Tinkerbell's youngest son, Tinzen, and Hard-to-Hit's son, Hototo.

Danny is still close to Peter Pan but has lost his hero worship for him.

Danny is also a little shit who loves teasing his cousins, siblings, and friends about their crushes/partners (including Tiger Peony's relationship with Bobby Hood).

He has a vial of fairy dust on a necklace that was gifted to him by Peter when he was younger.

Danny likes climbing trees, fishing, sword-fighting, shooting things (usually with his slingshot), parkour, cartography, and various sports.

He also loves his dog, Nana ||, very much.

He still has his Peter Pan doll hidden somewhere in his room—not that he'll admit it.

Danny is a fun loving, playful, optimistic, somewhat snarky young man who loves messing with people. Though he rarely takes it too far.

Danny considers Red, Maddox, Chloe, and Hadie his bestfriends, even if Hadie drives him nuts sometimes.

He rough houses with Hadie the most out of his friends because of how different they are from one another.

His favorite colors are green and red.

He writes letters to people often, even if most people consider it old fashioned.

Danny can almost always be found wearing his letterman jacket or his jersey.

He can also be found wearing a beanie a good 40% of the time.

He spent a good portion of his childhood vacations in Neverland.

Danny once got in an argument with Peter over him thinking pirates were cool, which resulted in him getting banished for a week. This is part of the reason why he lost his hero worship for him.

Danny, like his brother before him, went to school in Auradon Prep.

His best subjects are P.E, Art, and History of Woodsmen and Pirates.

His worst subjects are cooking, Smiling, and Chemistry.

Danny does not have good impulse control.

He also does not take Hadie's claims of being evil seriously.

He is quite handy with a sword and a slingshot.

Out of the girls, Danny is the closest to Red because of their similar tastes in humor.

Out of the boys, he gets along best with Maddox because he finds him easier to get along with.

HSHQ TASK eleven —– FAMILY the royal house of stuart

grandpa william came onto the crown at age seven. his father passed away when he was merely five, and his grandfather succumbed from his wounds from the war just a few years later. a joint regency was established by his mother, the dowager princess charlotte, and his uncle: prince thomas. as soon as he reached majority age, he married his childhood sweetheart, lady anne egerton, third daughter to the earl and countess of morton. all things considered anne wasn’t important nor particularly special, but they fell in love, and the king had the luxury to marry whoever he wanted. king william had a lot to prove, which was why he was so deathly strict to all of his children, for they were a chance to prove his legacy.  he had to prove that decades of regency would be worth it when he ascended the throne. when he passed, the dowager queen retained some of his trademark stuart rigidness towards her children, but spoiled her grandchildren immensely.

prince james, the wild-child, had met the utterly beautiful daughter of the duke of aiguillon and prince of turrene, princess eléanor de la tour d'auvergne and decided that all of the girls he dated before her had paled in comparison. she was the very image of french sophistication, and despite his higher rank, her air of lofty superiority had prompted deference even from him. they played the game for a while, chasing each other through the continent and making eyes across glittering ballrooms. that was until eléanor became pregnant unexpectedly with james’ baby, and both sets of parents decided that a marriage was necessary to avoid scandal. the young couple was hastily married, and marie-adélaïde came seven months later. they lived a slightly tumultuous existence, especially since they weren’t ready to get married and settle down in the first place. but with immense therapy and growing determination from both parties, they hadn’t given up yet. eight years after addie then came ava, and a year after that came edmund.

La Rocinante è tornata nel sistema solare con danni piuttosto estesi, che richiederanno parecchio tempo per essere riparati. Amos Burton scopre che una donna che è stata importante per lui è morta e decide di andare sulla Terra per darle l'ultimo addio. Alex Kamal approfitta della pausa per andare su Marte e cercare di riprendere i contatti con la sua famiglia. Naomi Nagata decide di andare su Cerere, dove riceve un messaggio collegato a una persona del suo passato.

Mentre supervisione le riparazioni della Rocinante, James Holden viene contattato dalla giornalista Monica Stuart, che sta indagando su una serie di astronavi sparite. Sinopsis: La película está ambientada en Inglaterra de los años 1980, en la época de la Guerra de la Malvinas. Muestra a un joven de 12 años llamado Shaun (Thomas Turgoose) que después de perder a su padre en la guerra cambia de ciudad.

El chico no se adapta a esta nueva ciudad. Al principio de la película, pelea con un compañero del colegio después de que hizo comentarios despectivos sobre su ropa, en este caso sobre los pantalones y por hacer un chuste sobre la muerte de su padre. 

Un día este conoce a una banda de jóvenes shinheads encabezada por Woody, que el día de dicha pelea le intenta subir el ánimo, hasta que acaba integrado a ellos. Influidos por ellos se rapa el pelo y lleva una estética skinheas como sus nuevos amigos. 

Semanas después aparece Combo, un antiguo miembro de la banda, que después de 3 años de cárcel se presenta con ideas nacionalistas y racistas. A partir de ahí, la banda se divide entre los miembros que mantinenen sus ideales apolíticos y los que siguen el nievo tipo de ideología neonazi que Combo quiere integrar. 

Shaun, convencido por las palabras de Combo, que le manipula constantemente utilizando la muerte de su padre, decide afiliarse con él y su grupo para “luchar por el orgullo de su padre” (palabras de Combo). 

Finalmente Combo deja muy malherido a puñetazos a Milky, un amigo negro de Shaun (que conoce por medio del primer grupo antirracista) y de esta manera Shaun se da cuenta de la clase de persona que es Combo. El mismo Combo aparece arrepentido minutos después de dejar inconsciente Milki a puñetazos.

S K I N H E A D

Es una subcultura originada en Reino Unido en 1969, cuyo distintivo consiste en una estética obrera (botas y tirantes), en oposición a la actitud pacífica de los hippies. 

Esta cultura urbana nace sin una postura política definida, ya que su propósito es la lucha de clases sociales. 

Comparten ciertos valores como el culto al coraje, compañerismo, lealtad y el orgullo a pertenecer a la clase trabajadora. Este orgullo se traducía en una ética de disciplina y trabajo duro. 

Con el paso del tiempo y debido a la tergiversación que el movimient ha tenido, este se ha visto cada vez más políticamente, yendo desde oposiciones izquierdistas a derechistas.

Izquierdistas:  Estaban ligados a aquellos que no desean que movimiento se vea tergiversado debido al racismo de algunos grupos, optndo por posiciones antifascistas y antirracistas, que son tendencias más compatibles con los orígenes del movimiento. Creado por influencias tales como a los inmigrantes jamaiquinos en Inglaterra.

Derechistas: Mayoritariamente relacionadas con el neonazismo y el fascismo, tendencias NO compatibles con la subcultura debido a la forma en que esta se originó. 

También encontramos skinheads apolíticos, que también desprecian la tergiversación realizada por los medios de comunicación argumentando erroneamente que es un movimiento racista y xenófobo.

Sus referencias musicales son el skinhead reggae (hecho por las primeras bandas de reggae, muy popular por la subcultura de la clase trabajadora británica), el ska (música afroamericana de la época con ritmos propiamente jamaicanos), el rocksteady (sucesor del ska y precursor directo del reggae), el RAC -Rock Against Communism- (Serie de conciertos de rock políticos organizados por el partido Fascista Frente Nacional. Rock contra el comunismo) y el Oi! (estilo derivado del punk rock)

En relación a la escuela de Birmingham

Se nos presenta la sociedad inglesa en los años 80 en la que nos destaca a un joven marcado por la muerte de su padre en la guerra de las Malvinas.

La trama gira en torno a los jóvenes y las acciones de estos, en un entorno suburbano marcado por el movimiento skinhead y su cultura y la posterior aparición de la ideología racista/neonazi influenciada por ideales políticos que innegablemente han sido propiciados por los medios de comunicación del momento como es de esperar.

El inocente de Shaun es influenciado por los jóvenes sin futuro, a los cuales se encuentra en la nueva ciudad saliendo de la escuela de la ciudad a la que se muda con su madre tras la muerte del padre

 Según la escuela de Birmingham, la película de This is England hace una introspección de la cultura de masas que surgió en Inglaterra en los años 80 con el movimiento skinhead y los conflictos que generó la escisión ideológica de estos. Aborda los medios de comunicación con la ideología que empezó a surgir en el país de carácter fascista, por influencia de estos, como de la música “Ska” que escuchan y la estética.

Según la teoría de Hoggart, los valores como la tolerancia y la solidaridad son abordados en compañía de la rebeldía de las acciones, las cuales llevan a cabo además de la estética para crear una realidad.

Según Raymond Williams se puede diferencia a un grupo de jóvenes diferenciado del resto social ya establecido en Inglaterra, es decir, una diferenciación de la cultura principal, mediante una subordinación que busca la transformación de lo existente.

Dentro de la teoría de Stuart Hall, se nos introduce mediante el personaje de Shaun , un personaje inicialmente neutral y natural con la inocencia de ser un niño pequeño, con el cual nos identificamos haciendo que nos situemos desde una perspectiva neutral ante el mensaje que pretende transmitir.

Elementos morfológicos

Para transmitir un mensaje audiovisual en el cine, los aspectos morfológicos, se componen de elementos visuales y sonoros. Los elementos sonoros están formados por la música, los efectos sonoros, las palabras e incluso el silencio y, a través de estos, se pretende transmitir un mensaje, al igual que los elementos visuales. En la película, podemos observar al comienzo de la serie con la música, y los gritos d e los alumnos se refleja la emoción de los niños con la imagen de ellos tirándose material y agua tras acabar la clase y a su vez, también se refleja la prepotencia que muestra el protagonista ante sus compañeros y el colegio en general con una música que transmite su pasividad ante la situación y su emoción al salir del colegio hasta que ve a su madre y se corta la música, como si se cortase su emoción (lo que se ve reflejado en su cara) y solo se escuchan los gritos de sus compañeros.

En la escena del grupo yendo en moto en busca de Shaun, se puede ver como mediante imágenes se forma un fragmento acompañado por una música que rima con el momento.

O también, en la escena en la que se hace un montaje con una imagen del cielo y la posterior aparición del protagonista herido, con una música de fondo que acompaña a la escena y tiene un tono más bien triste. 

Elementos sintácticos

 Trata la constitución de imágenes y sonidos las cuales mediante su unión forman las secuencias y escenas. Los planos tienen referencia con la proximidad de la cámara cuando se realiza una toma, existen planos descriptivos los cuales nos muestran donde nos encontramos, que engloban los planos generales, también nos encontramos con los planos narrativos que cuentan la acción que realiza el personaje, los vemos en planos medios o americanos, y cuando se trata de mostrar las emociones del personaje nos ayudamos de los primeros planos o detalles.

A la hora de darles vida a los planos tenemos la angulación la cual trata de una linea imaginaria que esta de forma perpendicular del objetivo de la cámara, pueden ser normales cuando la cámara se encuentra a la altura de la mirada del personaje, picado cunado la cámara esta desde arriba y contrapicado desde abajo.

En la secuencia que vemos a continuación vemos una mezcla de planos narrativos, entre ellos los de Shaun, y al final de la secuencia vemos como los sonidos juegan sus cartas con la imagen como vemos en el ultimo plano cuando vemos a Shaun sentado donde el director y la cámara se aleja poco a poco viendo el rostro de Shaun, al oír como castigan al otro chico.

Elementos semánticos 

La introducción es una parte muy significativa de la película que no podemos dejar pasar por alto. Nos transmite una visión de la realidad inglesa en los 80, nos sitúa en el tiempo y el espacio. Nos presenta un contraste entre los movimientos de protesta y conflictos sociales con el fenómeno de masas, el nacionalismo inglés y el boom de los videojuegos y series televisivas.

La banda sonora de este fragmento es la canción de 54-46 Was my Number de Toots and the The Maytals. Un grupo de genero Ska-Reggae-Punk (que caracteriza al movimiento skinhead). Este grupo tuvo cierta relevancia en la escena musical inglesa entre los años 70 y 80.

Barrow, Alaska, questa cittadina all’estremo nord degli Stati Uniti (realmente esistente, anche se più grande e popolosa di come appare nel film) presenta la particolarità che in un particolare periodo dell’anno, trovandosi sopra il circolo polare artico, vive immersa nel buio per 30 giorni. La maggior parte della popolazione lascia le proprie case per trasferirsi in lidi più ospitali durante il mese di tenebre. In città resta solo una manciata di cittadini, tra cui lo sceriffo Oleson (Josh Hartnett) chiamato a investigare su una serie di strani incidenti, prodromo di quello che succederà, e la sua ex-moglie Stella (Melissa George).

L’idea, semplice ma geniale, sia della graphic novel sia del film tratto da essa, è che un posto del genere possa diventare un perfetto e irresistibile terreno di caccia per una tribù di vampiri nomadi provenienti dall’Europa centrale. Trenta giorni senza timore del Sole, per loro letale, dove possono banchettare con gli abitanti della città. Non i classici vampiri decadenti, romantici e seducenti tanto di moda, ma dei brutali e crudeli assassini, guidati oltre che dalla necessità vitale di nutrirsi del sangue delle loro vittime, anche dal piacere sadico nel cacciare e uccidere le prede umane. A parte la luce solare, non temono niente, né le croci, né l’acqua santa né tantomeno l’aglio. Parlano tra di loro una strana e antica lingua (inventata per l’occasione) Dopo la mattanza iniziale, i pochi superstiti cercheranno di sopravvivere come possono, fino alla drammatica resa dei conti finale tra lo sceriffo e Marlow (Danny Huston), il capo dell’orda vampiresca.

La tensione è sempre alta, prima provocata dall’attesa di qualcosa di misterioso e ignoto, poi dallo scatenarsi delle belve non-morte. Il Generose dosi di sangue rosso vivo, interrompono la bicromia del nero della notte e del bianco della neve, colori nei quali il film è immerso. Il giallo del Sole liberatore sorgerà solo alla fine del film, ma non per tutti i protagonisti ciò significherà la salvezza. Il fumetto di Steve Niles, disegnato in modo schizoide e grottesco da Ben Templesmith, ha avuto diversi seguiti, di cui il primo, 30 Days of Night: Dark Days, ha avuto anch’esso una riduzione cinematografica nel 2010, 30 giorni di buio II, con regista e interpreti diversi.

Il sequel, distribuito direttamente sul mercato home video, è tratto dal secondo volume della serie a fumetti 30 giorni di notte. La vicenda è ambientata un anno dopo il massacro della cittadina di Barrow, Alaska, raccontato nel precedente film. Stella Oleson (Kiele Sanchez, subentrata nel ruolo che era stato di Melissa George) è una delle poche sopravvissute e gira gli Stati Uniti per una serie di conferenze atte a diffondere la verità riguardo su quello che è realmente successo nella sua città, cioè che i suoi concittadini sono stati uccisi da vampiri e non dal fuoco, come risulta dalle versioni ufficiali dell’accaduto. Ovviamente è presa per una pazza seguace di qualche strana teoria del complotto, ma nonostante ciò ai vampiri non piace che si parli di loro e cercano, guidati dalla regina Lilith (Mia Kirshner), di zittirla definitivamente. A darle manforte subentra un gruppo di cacciatori di vampiri.

Film nettamente inferiore al precedente, tratto da una graphic novel che, nonostante i graffianti disegni di Ben Templesmith, mostrava già al secondo volume una certa stanchezza. Il repentino cambio di ambientazione, dalla buia e innevata Alaska, alla luminosa Los Angeles, non giova all’atmosfera di tensione e terrore che invece permeava il film di Slade. Persa l’originalità dell’assunto del film (e del fumetto) originale, vampiri che scelgono un posto avvolto nelle tenebre della lunga notte artica per dare sfogo ai propri istinti sanguinari, la storia perde di senso e si complica inutilmente, come spesso accade nei sequel, con l’accumularsi di personaggi, situazioni e sotto trame. Chi non ha letto i volumi della saga illustrata, farà fatica a seguirne le vicende, anche perché nel precedente film erano stati omessi riferimenti riguardanti i vampiri e la loro organizzazione, che qui sono invece dati per scontati. La saga fumettistica è arrivata finora a dieci volumi, quella sugli schermi invece si è per fortuna fermata con questo film.

But it's mostly full of everything she knows about the Mims and her imagining what her relationship with each and every member would be pre-meeting them.

She burns it after Maddy accidentally reads it.

Yes, but it's a handmade cook book with notes that tell just a little too bit about his life.

But absolutely nobody other than Ace and Red can read it because he writes in it upside down (messily) and in code, and half of the words are doodled over or smudged.

She started keeping one after Chad did because she was itty bitty and wanted to be like her big brother (who mellowed out as an adult but at the time she didn't know what he was like to others in highschool). Anyway, she ended up enjoying it and now looks back at other old journals to see what she was like.

Though unlike the others she's very aware that others could potentially read it because Audrey told her about how others read and wrote in hers.

So she doesn't write anything too incriminating in there.

But she does very much write musings on Red, like you suggested in your own post and (before Red noticed her), she wrote about how jealous she was of Ace because she wanted Red to look at her like that.

(And after Red noticed her and Ace came back no longer having any romantic interest in Red, she painted over those pages so that absolutely no one could find out what she used to think of Ace).

Danny Stuart-Darling of Darling Coast:

It has little doodles of Neverland, fairies, pirates, etc in it too (he also hides it in his wall).

Though no one can really read it besides Twee because most of the words are smudged and there are splashes of ink/paint everywhere because she usually writes very fast due to her energy.

She writes in it no matter the emotion she's feeling even with her sharing her emotions with others.

You can pin point the exact moment she realized she was into girls (Chloe specifically) in the diary.

She didn't really learn how to write until she got to Auradon because her mom couldn't teach her how to do it with her hands, and none of her team mates or mentors thought to teach her since she didn't go to school.
