Danny has a bit of an issue, he's stopped aging completely. It was fine in high school where anyone would believe in malnourishment as an excuse. But now? When he is supposed to be a 37-year-old man? This got old the second he turned 21. It's not like anyone would believe him.

So what does Danny do? He marches himself to Gotham, where he assumes people wouldn't question a supposed 15-17-year-old trying to work. Does it hinder his career goals and life aspirations? ABSOLUTELY! Not much he can do about it though!

Danny tries to lay low, but Fenton Luck strikes! Now he gets to convince the local heroes that he is a TOTALLY NORMAL kid, not at all a low-key immortal.

Danny has been through a lot in the past few days. Before this, he was having the nice, normal life of a broke college student in Gotham. Minus the weird feeling of being watched, though, he thinks that could boil down to trauma and paranoia. Now, he knows that no good deed goes unpunished.

All he wanted to do was stop a robbery. The man had a gun and looked crazy enough to pull the trigger on a young teen girl. Like the sucker he is, Danny went ghost to scare the guy off, but this is Gotham. The man grabbed the girl and threatened her with the gun. Hostage situation. That was the exact moment Danny realized he had never fought a mortal. Sure, there were run-ins with his parents and the GIW but an evasive maneuver or two and he was out of sight. They could never beat his speed or agility, even equipped with anti-ghost weaponry. This, however, is an entirely new situation that even Pandora’s training could not have prepared him for. One wrong move on his part, and he could turn a light ghost zap into a fatal strike. But again, in case it was forgotten, this is Gotham. While Danny is having an internal dilemma, the feeble-looking young woman elbows the man in the jaw and digs the taser she had been hiding into her attacker’s stomach. 

After his moment of shock, Danny shoots into action, kicking the gun away and punching the man. He turns to check on the girl, but she is already running down the street. Looking back at the attacker, Danny realizes he may have used a little too much force. The man is lying on the dirty Gotham sidewalk, unconscious, with an obvious bruise forming on his face. That is when a motorcycle screeches to a halt in front of him. A muscular man in leather and a red helmet shuts off the bike and stomps towards Danny. Is this one of the famed protectors of Gotham?

“Did you do that?” The bulky man points to the unconscious man at his feet. For the second time today, Danny makes a horrible realization. He, an unknown evil-looking creature, is standing over a beaten and bruised body in the middle of one of the most notorious crime cities in the country, and whoever this is, thinks Danny is a villain of some sort. Great. 

So he takes off. What else is a ghost to do in a compromising situation? The more the pursuit goes on, the more Danny leans into his ghost powers. He missed being about to fly through a city so openly. He is not worried about the vigilante chasing him. No antighost weapons exist in Gotham. This is just a fun game of cat and mouse. Danny will only be caught if he wants to, which is fortunate since he has a paper due tonight and should wrap up this little chase. 

Danny shook him easily, but his curiosity got the best of him when he overheard the man’s phone call. That is how he landed himself in a ghost mystery that probably falls under his royal duties anyway, with a vigilante and a hot guy who dreams about him. Shit. The third terrible realization of the day: Phantom looks fourteen, so there is no flirting in his ghost form. 

After his call with Frostbite, he has a plan for both curing the Red Hood and removing the tainted ectoplasm from this realm. Even though he had wished for more of a break from ghostly activity on this, he is grateful to have something more intellectually stimulating than his physics class. Seriously, he was doing these calculations in middle school. At least the engineering for an ectoplasmic purifier will put up more of a challenge. Fourth terrible realization of the day, Danny still has a paper due.

Meeting Batman might be the worst thing Danny has ever had to face. He has heard the stories and seen the bat on rooftops before, but coming face to face with him is terrifying. With his plan made and rough sketches of the purifier ready, he found Red Hood in the middle of his nightly patrol. Now, three days after their first meeting, the bats are meeting Phantom. Hood opens the door to the unmarked building for him motioning him to walk in. 

Danny is greeted by a small boy in a colorful costume, a blonde girl in a purple suit, a taller guy in red with an R emblem, and a tall man in full black. 

“Hello, everyone.” He waves awkwardly at the small crowd. “Oh, hey, Tim!” He waves more enthusiastically. The girl giggles as the attention of the room turns toward the suited man. 

“Was I not supposed to know that? It is not your fault. I can recognize people’s soul signatures.”

“Phantom,” a deep voice rings. 

Danny’s spine goes rigid as he turns back to Batman. 

“I am sorry. I know secret identities are important. I did not mean to.”

“It is okay. It is not like our secret identities could be hidden for long. Knowing your ability, crossing one of us on the street would reveal us. You are going to be using the Batcave for the project as well, so you were bound to find out.” 

“But, Batman,” the smallest in the room speaks, “how do we know he is trustworthy enough?”

“I have a feeling he would have harmed already if he wanted to. Am I right?”

“Yes. Right. One hundred percent right. Not that I would cause anyone harm. I try to avoid meddling in mortal realms. This is a special case. That ectoplasm does not belong here, and its presence has resulted in obvious harm. It is my duty to solve these issues even if it is my vacation.” 

“Yelp.” Red Hood pushes himself from the wall he is leaning against. “Names Jason.”

“You know I am Tim but dressed like this, I am Red Robin.”

The girl comes up to him, thrusting a hand in his direction.

“I am Spoiler. My name is Stephanie. Steph works too,” she says smiling as she shakes his hand. 

The youngest turns to Batman.

“Do I have to?”

“Yes.” The boy sharply puts a hand out, shaking Danny’s with a deadly grip.

“Robin.” 

“And your name,” the girl, Steph, says smiling.

“Damian Wayne. Heir to the Demon Head,” he states. Batman steps forward, placing a gloved hand on Damian’s cape-covered shoulder. 

“Bruce Wayne. I trust that our identities are safe in your hands.”

“Of course.” Danny musters his most serious expression and tone, even if he thinks it may look silly coming from a fourteen-year-old-looking ghost boy. “I would never do anything to harm you or your family. I know the dangers that can come from a reveal like that.”

“Let us get to work, shall we? Red Robin, Spoiler, and Robin you are will me in the Batman mobile. Phantom you can ride with Red Hood.”

“I do not need it. Thank you, though.”

“Okay. Then follow him to the cave. We have much to do.”

Decided to draw Lady Gotham in her most humanoid form, I can’t wait for her to make her appearance in my fic! So Lady Gotham, in my fic ofc, is an amalgamation of many spirits who never leave Gotham, basically forming a hive mind of ghosts who all want the same thing. They want to see Gotham thrive. Everyone who dies in Gotham is invited to join Lady Gotham before moving to the afterlife, but you do not have to accept, and if you do you can move on when you feel you’re ready. She is a spirit of redemption and protection. I love her so much.

H-hey! So, just something you should know:

IF you happen to see a ghost floating around the Manor, please, please, PLEASE don't freak out! It's-uh- it's just me.

Which is also why I've missed so much of what happened the last few days...

Danny has discovered that any dangerous area is much safer if you're invisible. Even Gotham.

Walking down the street at night? Invisible. Weaving through alleyways? Invisible. Gas stations? Invisible until he needs to pay.

The only downside to this was the bats.

They kept freaking landing on him.

He doesn't think it's intentional, seeing as they're always startled and fumble their landings when it happens. Still, if that is the case then how does this keep happening???

Whatever the reason, Danny had had enough. When Spoiler lands on him, he angrily yells out, "Civilian harmed! Five point penalty!"

"What?! No!" She yelled , clutching her head with her hands.

Apparently, the bats were having a competition, and the penalty took her out of the lead.

Casper high is on a field trip in Gotham.

Danny is in the team with Tucker, Kwan and Dash as most of the time.

They have a picture hunt around Gotham.

After a while they notice strange people in white following them. White jackets, black ties.

As Amity park kids the of course thought, these were GIW agents they don't know.

Everybody knows Danny is having to much ecto in his system. They sometimes see his eyes change color. No surprise if you think of the Fenton Parents lap safety.

So as the people get closer and one of them grabs Danny's arm. Dash hits him before they can speak.

They got in a big fight.

Penguin gets called cause his Goons are fighting a school class.

Things calm down quick as Oswald came. The Teacher told them to stop.

As he was talking to Mr. Lancer the Teacher said:" The children are very sorry. They thought your Henchpeople were part of the Government."

Penguins Goons are also very sorry:" We thought it was a Wayne kid."

Penguin has also some Questions in his head like: why would high school kids get into a fist fight with the Government?

And why did the Teacher think that was a reasonable explanation?

DPxDC idea that has been floating around my head for a few months now:

Gotham, given its whole... thing with Lazurus Pools and general bad vibes, has a ghostly representative. Lady Gotham, when she bothers to be coporeal, looks like an influential lady from the 1920s, straight art deco elegance. A real classy girl.

Jazz is touring college campuses around the US. She has full ride offers from Gotham University, Metroplis College, and Star City State, to name a few. Danny, upon hearing that his sister is going to GOTHAM of all cities, decides he is going on this trip with her. He might be only 15, but his big sister isn't getting mugged while he has half an afterlife left to live!

Lady Gotham is all a flutter! Why the last ghost king was so frumpy! King Phantom is so handsome and powerful, and he is coming to her city. She absolutely has to show off her best side! She feels like a teenaged girl getting her home ready before a new beau comes to visit. She's flustered, she's nervous.

Meanwhile, John Constatine wakes up with cosmic alarm bells going off because something really, really bad is happening. He investigates to dicsover that for the past three days Gotham has not had a single crime.

No murders, muggings, hell not even a single jay walker!

Gotham the most cursed place on the North Or South American continent is suddenly more squeaky clean than whatever small farm town Superman grew up in.

No crimes, no smog in the air. Crime Lords seemingly gone in a puff of smoke, Assassins asleep in their beds.

Its so freaky. Even Batman is spooked and he is never spooked by anything.

Constantine is certain some demon or other nefarious being is harnessing Gothams cursed energy for some evil plot. Gathering the power to use it like a nuclear blast. Batman is concerned about mass mind control.

Lady Gotham is doing the metaphysical equivalent of hiding all of your stuff in a closet before a guest comes over because you dont have time to actually clean. She had to shoulder the thing closed! She just knows that when the lock fails there will be a huge mess.

Jazz and her family are just surprised about how nice Gotham U's campus is. She'd heard it was so dark and dangerous, but everyone is smiling and pleasant to her! Danny is just happy Jazz is safe from various villains.

So we have Batman investigating his rogues gallery for mind control plots, Constatine hunting for demons, Jazz and her family taking a walking tour of Gotham U, and Lady Gotham using every bit of her ghostly powers to make sure her damned, cursed city doesnt embarrass her in front of her crush!

The Viewers

Danny and Tucker move in together for college in Gotham

Tucker decided to make tiktoks just for fun, he could teach people about technology and help give tips.

He didn't realize that his viewers could see Danny in the background in some clips.

Danny being Danny was never caught doing something normal instead it was always something weird.

Tucker who is so used to it, it doesn't even register in his mind that it's not normal.

De-aged Danny at Gotham University with Jazz

After somehow waking up as a preschooler, Danny wasn't sure what to do. His parents and others were unsure of what to say or do. And as it turned out, they weren't even trying to fix it. As it's again Adorable baby Danny, they can fix it later.

Later Jazz was told to babysit her baby brother while their family was away, something with the G.I.W. or similar in amity park.

So she just took him with her to school. And the funny thing was that the professors accepted him because he didn't scream and make problems. He could stay and listen to the class.

+ Out of sheer boredom, Danny started working on the tests the students were taking, completely unaware that they were considered difficult.

To the teachers' delight, he aced every exam he took. From math to History or Art.

Meanwhile, Tim sat in shock, frozen in place until someone had to nudge him to move.

"What's going on?" Damian shouted, breaking the silence.

The engineering professor replied, "He didn't get first place on the test, so he's stuck like this."

"So?" Dick interjected, looking puzzled. "It's not the first time."

The professor added, "He lost to the little sibling of our top student."

He gestured to little Danny, who was strolling past them. Dick did a double take while Damian burst out laughing.

The Fentons might have settled in the middle of bumfuck nowhere but they did have quite the reputation from their crazy antics. It is well known that:

1. Atleast one of the partner pair is always built like a brick shit house.

2. They all have a time period where they pick up a ton of random skills and useless knowledge before settling down on their particular niche.

3. A person of Fenton descent will always fall for the most dangerous person around them.

4. A Fenton will always bounce back from anything. They can die but they cannot be killed by mortal means.

5. They have the bad habit of unconsciously putting themselves in harms way.

The traits mentioned wouldn't have been a problem if the heros found out about them however due to facts 2, 3, 4 and, 5 the Fentons were well known to the villains.

This leads to the situation Danny now found himself in after he tripped off of a rooftop and got hit by a car into a warehouse building.

Picking himself up from the rubble with groan and a crack of his back Danny took stock of his situation. The closest was a pretty lady that vaguely looked familiar along with a few goons and a dude in a bat furry costume with a bunch of people. The youngest was cosplaying a traffic light. A girl with a purple cloak. A girl in black was dressed similarly enough to the bat furry. Etc.

It looked like he interrupted some kind of fight and now they all just stood there uncertain of what to do.

The lady suddenly grabbed him by the collar and yanked his head down to her level as she examined him. "Oh fuck me sideways your a Fenton... If your here then..." She quickly let go of him.

It took Danny half a second before he could place her. "Oh yeah! You are that lady uncle Robby was pinning after, Shiv something."

The cosplayers all looked uncertain and he could feel the concern radiating from them.

"I am Lady Shiva and yes Robert certainly is something. First time I found a man I couldn't kill." The lady, Shiva, a fond look on her face.

"You got any allergies? Mom and dad's 30th anniversary is coming up this November. Just about the whole family is coming." Danny said giving her a piece of paper with the date and location.

"is Alicia going to be there?" Lady Shiva said as she gripped her blades tighter, a predatory smile on her face.

"I did say the *whole* family. Even Gruncle Ra is coming." Danny explained with a shrug.

"Yes!" Shiva exclaimed. "Between you and me I still don't know how Cheetah manages to pull your aunt."

"I try to forget. I just remember that they are banned from 40 countries." Danny said as he shuddered. After a quick glance at his watch he bolted for the hole in the wall. "Oh shit I have to go pick up my sister from Arkham!"

As he ran he distantly heard Lady Shiva yell "I'll be there and call me aunt Shiva!"

I need Danny to say the most terrifying sentences casually near other heroes.

After a battle Phantom is looking at his uniform and his hands. “I think my skin is moving.”

The Flash whips his head around to look at Phantom, “I’m sorry what?”

Phantom is already nonchalantly floating away to go help civilians.

So. Danny is de-aged and in Gotham. Who cares why, but he’s here, and way too smart for his own good. And stubborn, plenty stubborn.

You can too steal the bat’s wheels and get away with selling them! Sure, no Regular Person will take em but rogues? They have gimmic mobiles they break out every so often and you know what would be HILARIOUS Mr riddler? if you could roll up in your brand new riddle me this machine with STOLEN BAT WHEELS ON IT. So, are you ready to buy.

Told from the perspective of a horrified onlooker first trying to convince the kid to put the wheels back bc people have tried it before and then rapidly trying to de escalate a very determined de aged Danny from selling the wheels to the nearest rogue.

Personally am envisioning a delighted Harley cooing over the kid as she gets some new wheels for her motorbike and promptly roping the kid in for tea with her gf and def not to make him her nephew by sheer willpower. However, the options are truly open. Freeze, scarecrow, hell the joker would probably go along with it bc he finds it hilarious and would provide a convenient excuse for old Danny ‘Fuck Clowns’ Nightinggale to get within stabby stabby range. The world is your clown-killing oyster.
