The UCP government introduced a bill on Tuesday that will break Alberta Health Services into four separate organizations overseeing mental health and addictions, acute care, primary care and continuing care. Bill 22, the Health Statutes Amendment Act, enables a vision for an improved health care system that is "ambitious yet attainable," Health Minister Adriana LaGrange said. [...] NDP health critic Dr. Luanne Metz said the bill is another example of how Premier Danielle Smith is trying to centralize control in her office. She said that when the plan was leaked to the NDP last fall, the document listed several risks, including "service disruption/failure" and "potential to fragment care delivery." "This is a blueprint to escalate the chaos in our hospitals and clinics and will do nothing to improve results for patients or support staff," Metz said in a written statement Tuesday. "Danielle Smith wants to control everything, everywhere, all at once, and this Frankenstein of a bill will continue the dismantling of Alberta Health Services and stuff patients and providers into ineffective silos."

Guess who just had the best day ever (sarcasm) because she got her foot run over with a motorized grocery cart, dropped the jar of gravy for dinner resulting in it breaking, then cut the daylights out of her hand with the broken glass trying to clean it up?
Answer: Me, Bird.
In any case I offer you a list of what I think should’ve been added into the game.
1) Kevin Coubal (Stiles’ actor) is fluent in French. They should’ve had a scene where Stiles accidentally says something really offensive to one of the female members of the French resistance and then gets slapped.
2) They really should’ve added a scene where someone is asking if everyone is alright after a battle and amongst the chorus of “I’m fine” you hear a “Speak for yourselves! My glasses broke!” From Stiles, and a “God damn it, Stiles! How’d you even get drafted?” from Pierson. Then the next time we see Stiles his glasses are duct taped together.
3) Red reminds me of the type to hate needles. So something where he’s getting stitched up and being a giant baby about it.
4) There’s a letter from red to Hazel (pre release of the game) that says that Stiles thinks he has the best French accent and red saying he’s the only one that thinks that. We should’ve heard it at some point so we could make fun of it.
5) Why wasn’t the epilogue filled with pictures of Zussman’s recovery + him and the other guys getting home? That should’ve been a thing.
6) I know it adds something to the plot (tears and sadness mostly), but they should’ve let Tuner live but without legs or being paralyzed or something.
7) A scene where Pierson is being sweet that gives you just a little glimpse that maybe that hard exterior isn’t the real him somewhere before the end of the story. Ex: He reminds me of a major animal lover. Perhaps a scene where Daniels walks up on him feeding a stray, petting and baby talking it, then he immediately snaps back into sergeant mode when he sees Daniels.
8) Some more scenes of the boys messing around with each other. I love their friendship and I wish we’d seen more of it.
9) Why did Metz only show up for one scene and that was it? They should’ve put him in somewhere in the beginning and have him keep showing up throughout the game.
10) Why did we only get to play through Europe? This whole thing essentially traces back to Kasserine. So why didn’t we start there as a random soldier as a place to learn the controls for the game? Or give us a flashback scene where we have to play as Pierson. Or at the very least a cutscene where we see what happened as Pierson explains.
11-♾️) LONGER CAMPAIGN!!!!! I can’t stress this enough. I could play so many more hours of this game with these boys and it still wouldn’t be enough.

Since the whole James Somerton debacle, I decided to share a few college essays of mine on Medium. They're all fairly short and hopefully they're all an easy read. All are properly quoted and credited to their respective sources, and (not to kick someone while they're down) could serve as an example of proper citation and credit.
#james somerton#(there's also a chance these might have been written at 11:59pm consecutively so bear that in mind)
