Federation Employee and Persons of Interest Statistics List
Notice: "Federation Employee and Persons of Interest Statistic List" is subject to revisions and editing upon further inspection and/or upon gathering new and incoming information. "Official Server Member Federation Employees" statistics list does not include freelance services taken on by members of the island, such as Philza Minecraft or IronMouse, nor will it include Federation NPC server members. Only officially hired jobs given to players applied and approved by the Federation shall be recorded.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Official Server Member Federation Employees
---Cellbit--- Occupation: Private Investigator Background: Joined as a double agent hoping to gain intel on the Federation. Accidentally signed a contract to work for them and dedicated months of research funneling them information believing he was working against them. Despises the Federation for their imprisonment of him and the island members, among other factors [see "Felps: Reason for Interest"], and dislikes that he is working under them. Continues to keep up appearances that he is at the very least neutral about his situation. Additional Details: Currently Employee of the Month
---Jaiden Animations--- Occupation: N/A Background: Harbored a soft spot for Cucurucho that gained her their trust and landed her a job in the Federation. Was revealed by Cucurucho to have helped the Federation at a prior point in time that she has no recollection of. She maintains the lie that the Federation kidnapped her and that she distrusts them to keep secret the fact that she actually works for them. Additional Details: Currently the only one (besides Foolish, who she told of this) that definitively knows there are multiple Cucuruchos
---Foolish Gamers--- Occupation: Detective, Potential Law Enforcement Background: Begged Asked the Federation for a job in order to obtain benefits and rewards (mainly a shiny badge and a controllable corporeal cloud that functions as an automobile). Officially became part of the Federation upon taking on the task of arresting Tazercraft for the supposed kidnapping of Mr. Mustard the capybara, whom he shares a close relationship with. He continues to work for the benefits, and keeps up the search for Mr. Mustard. Additional Details: Is jealous that Cellbit has more notoriety within Cucurucho's favor and the Federation than he does [see "Cellbit: Additional Details"]. Frequently goes out of his way to gain Cucurucho's favor, in whatever way that may be
---FitMC--- Occupation: Janitor, Plumber Background: Obtained a job at the Federation as a standard janitor/plumber, a seemingly unobtrusive and out-of-the-way occupation, with the objective to gain player data from the Federation in order to deliver it to an outside source. Secretly anti-Federation but acts friendly towards them and keeps from doing anything overtly anarchist in order to maintain his cover. Additional Details: Close with Tazercraft, who are staunch anti-Federationists/anarchists, and has aided them in multiple missions from acquiring classified Federation intel to escaping Federation prisons. Has also received a hug from Cucurucho and is the only one to do so.
---AyPierre--- Occupation: Wine Supplier, Wine Vineyard Operator Background: Was originally a freelance wine maker and distributor (alongside his co-worker Richarlyson) who sold wine to the Federation for the election dinner event. Was later approached by Cucurucho to become a personal wine supplier under the Federation, presumably for future hosted events. The construction of a vineyard was established for Pierre to use for his production, as well as to manage over as the official vineyard operator. Additional Details: Dreamed of a white bear performing brain surgery on him before the plane crash where he supposedly arrived for the first time. Has also committed countless illegal acts against the Federation of which he is rarely held accountable, such as acquiring a piece of a Luzu computer [see "Luzu/Arin: Reason for Interest"]
---El Quackity--- Occupation: Live Show Announcer, N/A Background: Assigned to host the live show announcing the winner of the presidential election behind closed doors. Ran for this election before he was eliminated via assassination. Server members heavily speculated that El Quackity ran as president as a Federation pawn, though this has yet to be proven. Is part of the Federation's experiments regarding specimen eggs, and maintains access to player data most other members are not aware exists [see "FitMC: Background"]. Additional Details: Speculated to have been a clone of Quackity put into the server by the Federation after their abduction of Quackity, as he acts differently, held gaps in memories that Quackity should have known, had strange skin textures around the frame of his face, and had "El" in his name.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Additional Persons of Interest
---Forever Player--- Reason for Interest: Current President of Quesadilla Island. Works with Cucurucho to utilize all powers granted to the role of presidency by the Federation. Yet to see the full extent in which this role will provide in terms of power to the president and his relationship with the Federation. Currently, the President is working on an animal conservatory on behalf of the Federation, and has already established certain mods such as the Cosmetics Mod. Additional Details: Suspected of having a closer relationship to Cucurucho than a simply professional one by certain island members; unclear of the accuracy of this claim. Has plans to build a prison and establish an active voting system.
---Tazercraft--- Reason for Interest: Guilty of frequently committing illegal acts (destroying Federation projects using the C.A.R.L.A. world eater, illegally traveling into the Nether using a previously inactive Federation-owned Nether portal, etc.) Tazercraft were arrested by Detective Gamers on behalf of the Federation [see "Foolish Gamers: Background"] and imprisoned in the official Federation jail, of which they escaped along with Federation employee "Walter Bob" after killing one of the prison guards. Additional Details: The surviving prison guard abducted "Walter Bob" after the escape, as well as Pac of Tazercraft. Though fellow Tazercraftian Mike was able to free him, the status of "Walter Bob" remains unknown. Unclear if the actions of the guard were carried out on official Federation orders or as a personal vendetta against Tazercraft for the loss of their coworker at Mike's hands.
---Maximus--- Reason for Interest: Underwent a medical examination by Cucurucho following a belief of pregnancy; was found to have been infected with a deadly parasitic entity. Following this discovery, subject was given emergency surgery to have the parasite removed, of which was proclaimed to be a success by the head surgeon (Cucurucho). However, subject later found a code infection in his leg, of which only his surgeon is aware of currently. Additional Details: Co-founder and co-leader of the Ordo Theoritas, an anti-Federation conspiracy group of which the Federation has been made aware of in terms of the subject's involvement. Previously arrested and imprisoned for one day by the Federation after committing illegal acts. Also involved in an incident where he sought out the Angel in order to revive his dead egg Trump, before he was given an ultimatum by the Federation that ceased him from receiving the Angel's help.
---Roier--- Reason for Interest: One of the first persons to befriend Cucurucho. Proof of Cucurucho's incompetency revealed by their relationship to Roier, and since measures have been taken to ensure Cucurucho has and will always achieve absolute perfection. Additional Details: Continues to summon Cucurucho, and is determined to understand their nature as well as the changes made to them.
---Felps--- Reason for Interest: One of the first persons to befriend Cucurucho. Initially taken by them and kept in cryogenic containment for roughly one month as part of a potential deal to gain lives for his son Richarlyson. Was awakened and rescued by the other island members alongside family member Cellbit, who had also been abducted in his search for Felps. Upon rescue, both subject and his companion were found to have strange markings on their body, Felps having one on his arm. No overt effects have come from these physical changes as of yet. Additional Details: After his abduction, subject has harbored resentment towards Cucurucho and the Federation
---Quackity--- Reason for Interest: Subject to unknown experimentation by the Federation that resulted in a severe loss of memory (short and long term), an inability to properly recognize the physical appearance of the eggs, and an inability to recognize or create proper writing. Upon release, has since only spoken in Spanish (despite being bilingual) and has been given writing lessons by Cucurucho, who carried out the initial experimentation. Additional Details: Previously attempted to establish deals with Cucurucho in order to revive his deceased egg TilĂn; unclear if these talks yielded any results.
---Baghera Jones--- Reason for Interest: Former subject of experimentation and torture at the hands of the Federation. Was under Federation custody since childhood until she escaped using a presumably make-shift boat. Holds no memory of her past regarding the Federation, and has only vague memories of knowing her fellow French-speakers before arrival on the island. Current status unknown. Additional Details: Was made aware of this knowledge by following a trail leading to an abandoned building with a diary signed by herself sometime prior.
---The Angel and the Demon--- Reason for Interest: Divine entities descended by the gods known for producing and distributing illegal items to the islanders. Holds the ability to perform resurrections on deceased eggs. Currently unable to be contained or withheld by the Federation. More information is needed before actions may be taken. Additional Details: The Angel was once involved in an indirect conflict regarding the Federation and the resurrection of the deceased egg Trump [see "Maximus: Additional Details"] in which it was made clear the Federation wished for the Angel and Demon to have as little involvement as possible with the Federation's plans.
---Luzu/Arin--- Reason for Interest: AI entity residing within the body of Luzu. Fronts Luzu's body during moments of Luzu being unconscious (sleep, fainting, etc.) Source behind "Luzu computers" that occasionally appear around the server. Federation has dubbed it illegal to desecrate and/or steal resources from these computers as they contain illegal Create items. Full extent of the relationship between the Federation and the Luzu computers is unknown. Additional Details: Arin occasionally interacts with the island inhabitants via chat message to leave cryptic messages in binary, of which is their only supposed way of written communication. They have warned of "a door opening" among other concerning matters.
---Binary Codes--- Reason for Interest: Rogue AI entities that target the island inhabitants and their eggs. Held a predominant focus on attacking any egg with two lives until they were down to one. Have been proven to be capable of learning from past instances, as well as cloaking their appearance into that of an egg. Federation continues to ignore their existence. Additional Details: Rumors have declared the Binary codes to have been creations of the Federation that went rogue and now attack supposed other Federation creations (the eggs). Contained powerful weaponry in the form of the CPV2 Shield, which has infinite durability and is the only known item immune to the Code Breaker Sword, as well as the pieces of the aforementioned Code Breaker; these items were taken from certain Binary Codes after a loss in combat to Etoiles, the current only island resident to wield such equipment.

One of the perks of being the Assistant District Attorney of New York City is having your own corner office. The large windows offer a stunning looking of the bustling skyline of New York City. Of course the perks go beyond just the offices. There’s the satisfaction of tackling high-profile cases, the thrill of courtroom victories, and the respect that comes with the title. Today, you’re enjoying one of those benefits that’s seeming to be more like a con.
This meeting was boring to say the least. The topic had been on a rise of criminal activity in the area and how to prevent it. Normally, you would have been all ears. However, this meeting was anything but normal. It was the first meeting after the holidays and your coworkers were still in the post-Christmas mood.
The usual professional atmosphere was gone.
You sit in a chair across from the head of the long table, listening as best you can to the discussion.
"How about we continue this tomorrow?" Alex Cabot, your DA and overhead suggested. "Y/n? Any objection to that?"
You look up in surprise, wondering if you had missed something.
"No, not at all."
Alex smiles at you and then at the other two women.
"I think that's a good idea." You agree. "I'll get back to you with my thoughts on the Coleman case."
The three other women begin packing up their bags and heading out.
"Thanks for the meeting." You say as you get up and gather your things. "It was very informative."
Alex chuckles, clearly seeing right through your fib. "You used to be a much better liar than that."
"I'm just trying to be polite." You smile. "After all, we are in a room full of lawyers."
Alex laughs. "That we are. I'll see you tomorrow then?"
"Tomorrow."
You leave the room, feeling like you could breathe again. You head to your office and stop by your assistant's desk in order to check mail and messages. The meeting was supposed to be thirty minutes and lasted more than an hour. You were more than tired. You were ready for the day to be over.
"Hey Y/n, a message came in for you earlier." Your assistant, Haley says. "You still need to review the police report for Jones and Jones. Also, an interview with Cass Daniels."
You sigh and look down at the file you're holding.
"Great, I'm swamped. Is the file with the Jones's case available?"
Haley nods and hands you a brown folder.
"Anything else I can help with?"
You shake your head and smile. "Unfortunately, not this time around."
"Hey, y/l/n, “ Your colleague Doug Stone greets. He does a little jog over to the desk.
"Hi, Doug, " You return. "Just the man I was looking for."
He looks confused. "Really?"
You hand him the file. "I just spoke with Alex. She says she wants you to handle the Jones case."
"But what about the-"
"I already reviewed it and made notes." You interrupt. "Just make sure to check out the new witnesses and that'll be it."
"Okay, so no problem." Doug nods, looking unsure. "Anything else I can do?"
You smile and shake your head. "Actually," You smirk. Just to get under his skin.
"Oh no," Doug shakes his head.
"I need you to get me a copy of the police report." You finish.
"You have one."
You shrug. "I think it would be a good idea to double check."
Doug rolls his eyes. "You know I came over here to see if you could ask the misses to go ahead and make some of that special eggnog she made over the holidays. Special order just for me."
You move to rebuttal when you hear a familiar husky voice behind you. You turn to see your wife standing there with that familiar smirk on her face. Natasha stepped further into the floor, her presence commanding attention. She had chosen a slightly floral midi dress that hugged her curves, the soft fabric contrasting with her typical demeanor. With her red hair pulled back and her eyes sharp and observant, she exuded a mix of elegance and strength.
"You can ask me yourself," Natasha grinned. She stepped closer to you and wrapped her arm around your waist. You landed a quick kiss to her head before looking over at Haley with questioning eyes. She's supposed to remind you if something important like your wife visiting.
"Sorry," She apologizes, quickly. "I was just about to tell you."
"It's okay, Haley," You wave off, smiling. "What brings you by, baby?"
"Can a girl come visit her wife in her office? I'm sure Tammy comes to see you all the time right, Doug?" Natasha tilts her head.
"Uhh..um, yes," Doug stumbles over his words.
Natasha gives him a smile. "Good." She looks up at you. "So, how's your day, babe? I didn't catch you at a bad time, did I?"
"Not at all," You answer.
"Actually, y/l/n has some errands to run," Doug cuts in.
"And Doug has a case to take over," You reply. Natasha looks suspiciously between the two of you.
"We're not going to have a problem, are we?" She asks.
"Of course not." Doug assures.
Natasha nods and smiles. "I'd hate to have to break up this lover's quarrel you two are having. But I would like to spend some time with you before your lunch is over." By the look in her eyes, you know exactly why she's come to your office so unexpectedly.
"Not a problem," You nod.
"I'm free for the rest of the day," Doug says. You send him a glare. "I'll just get a start on those files." He adds before making himself scarce.
You give him a thumbs up. "Perfect. Haley, cancel my meetings for the next hour."
"Sure thing,"
You take Natasha's hand and lead her down the hallway towards your office.
"I love it when you get bossy," Natasha whispers, biting her lip. You feel the blush creeping up your neck.
"That was nothing," You wave off. You walk before her into the office to clear up a few things on the couch. The last thing she needs is to see how messy you are at work. "Where's Luke and Paige?"
"I left them with my mom today," She says disinterestedly.
"Oh, that's cool then," You nod.
"Now do you want to hear about Luke's diapering schedule, or should we talk about other things?" She steps over to you. It's then you notice the heels she's wearing. Those sexy Manolo Blahnik pumps in a deep blue that accentuates all of her curves.
"I think I want to talk about whatever you want to talk about," You answer honestly. You place your hands on her hips and pull her close. She giggles, placing her hands on your chest.
"Good," She leans in for a quick peck. "You're in a good mood today."
"That's because you're here." You hum. "You taste good."
"Lemon and ginger," She smiles.
"That's what it was. You taste delicious." You lean in again and capture her lips in a deeper kiss. Your tongue glides over her lips, coaxing them open. "Mm, I think you should surprise me in the office every day."
"If only I could." Natasha sighs. "Your coworkers would get tired of me or become jealous of you."
"I don't care." You whisper against her lips. "I only care about what's happening right now."
"Oh, is that so?" Natasha bites her lip.
You nod and reach around, smacking her ass. "That's what you're here for right? You couldn't wait for me to come home?"
"Something like that." She grins. She leans forward to kiss you again. This time as a distraction while she unbuttons your silk button down with her nimble fingers. Her lips are soft and warm against yours.
You pull away from the kiss and smirk. "We can't have sex in the office."
"That's a first." Natasha chuckles. "Why not?"
"I don't know if I'll want to stop after one round," You sigh when her hands find bare skin underneath your shirt.
"Hmm, we'll have to be quick then." Natasha murmurs, pressing her lips to your neck.
"I don't know," You groan when her teeth scrape across your pulse point. "You're quite loud."
"I guess you'll just have to keep me quiet," Natasha bites down on your neck. You let out a whimper, your body shivering.
"Damn it, Tasha," You growl.
She pulls back and flashes you a wide grin. "Do you think you can keep me quiet?"
"I don't know if I want you to be quiet," You open your eyes.
"Oh, is that so?" Natasha grins. She pulls your shirt down off of your shoulder, revealing your lacey black bra. She moves to do the same to the other side.
"Natasha," You warn.
"I'm just looking," She says as her eyes roam over your torso. "Admiring."
"Yeah, admiring is going to get us in trouble," You shake your head.
"Fine, fine," She steps back, taking her warmth and heat with her.
"Are you pouting?"
"I am," Natasha lowers her hands onto her hips. "You're denying me what I want."
"Come here," You offer a hand. She takes it and you lead her over to the couch. You sit down and pull her onto your lap. She settles her knees on either side of your hips and rests her hands on your shoulders. You begin rubbing her thighs, smoothing your hands across the smooth nylon of her leggings before you rip them. The sound drowning out the harsh breaths both of you are taking. You're so glad this office is at the corner and also doesn't have glass windows. Of course, she always gets what she wants.
"I thought you said we can't have sex."
"We're not," You murmur, your eyes focusing on the swell of her breast. "But we can do other things."
"Other things," Natasha nods. "Like what?"
"Just sit there and let me touch you," You say, pulling her down for a kiss. "You don't have any objection to that, do you?"
"None," Natasha says softly, her breath fanning over your lips. At the first press of your thumb against damp panties, Natasha lets out the sharpest squeak deep from the back of her throat.
"Told you that you would be loud."
"Shut up." She moans, her hips canting forward, chasing the contact. You give her another rub through the soaked material, her wetness seeping through. "Are you going to tease me?"
"Yes," You answer simply, kissing the exposed skin of her chest.
"Fuck, baby." Natasha groans.
"Shhh," You tsk, "Be a good girl and stay quiet for me."
"I want you inside," Natasha lowers her head to look you in your eyes. She reaches behind her back to unzip herself. She lifts her dress over her head and drops it onto the floor. She leans back over you and presses her chest to yours.
"I have a feeling this isn't going to end well." You groan, your eyes focused on her soft and supple breasts.
"I don't think we're going to get caught."
"Maybe." You murmur.
"Y/n, are you listening?"
"Huh?" You snap out of your daze. It's then you feel another wave of arousal as she releases her hair from its ponytail. She leans back on her hands and gives you a smug smile.
"Are you listening, Mrs. Romanoff?"
"I'm listening," You swallow thickly. You can't help but take her in.
"So, how about it?"
You look at her confused. "How about what?"
"I knew you weren't listening," Natasha laughs.
"I was thinking about how gorgeous you are," You admit. "How sexy you are. All the things I want to do to you."
"Oh yeah?" She grins. "Like what?"
"Well," You start, running a finger across her cheek. "First, I would have you sit there and watch as I undress."
"I'm interested," She looks you over. You should probably take those pants off unless you want them to be ruined with her juices. Not that you would mind it that much.
"I would go slowly. I would leave on my heels and my bra."
"Your bra?" She arches a brow. "No, take off your bra."
"Are you going to be difficult, or can I finish?"
"I'm sorry, continue," She waves a hand.
"Anyway, I would leave my heels and bra on. Then I would lay back on the couch and spread my legs for you. I'd want you to use your mouth and fingers."
"Mmm," Natasha hums.
"I'd have you fuck me with your fingers until I came all over them." You whisper, tracing her lips. "Then I would do the same to you. Just how you like it."
"How many times would you make me come?"
"Until you can't take it anymore." You answer. "Then I would clean you up with my mouth. Would you like that?"
"Fuck, yes," Natasha moans, her hips bucking against yours.
"Are you turned on, Tasha?"
"I'm beyond that," She admits. "I've been thinking about this since this morning."
"Yeah? You couldn't wait to have my hands on you."
"No," She whines.
You tap her thighs, instructing her to lift up so that you can strip yourself of your clothes. You rush over to the office door, locking it to ensure you won't be disturbed.
"What are you doing?" Natasha calls.
"Just making sure no one comes in and sees you like this," You explain, stepping back over to her. "They can't see what's mine."
"Would you let them watch?" She dares to ask.
"No," You growl, pulling her into your arms.
"And here I thought the idea would turn you on." She teases, trailing a finger along your collarbone.
"It does," You answer truthfully.
"But," She raises her brow.
"It turns me on to know that they can't have you," You admit. "Only I can touch you and see you."
"Touching has been minimal," She raises a perfectly arched brow.
"You're right," You smirk.
"How about we fix that," She whispers.
You nod and sit back down, taking her with you. You help to slide her panties off, tossing them to the side, before you get an idea. You pull her over to your desk, her eyes following yours quizzically before you bend her over. Your hands rub against the expanse of her back. You can't take your eyes off her perked-up ass and pussy on display for you.
"What are you doing?"
"Getting an idea."
"For?"
"This," You say, sliding a finger inside of her. Her walls tighten around the intrusion, and you let out a low moan.
Natasha's back arches and she hisses. You know it's not a sound of pain but pleasure. She wasn't expecting you to do it but she for damn sure loves it.
"I knew you'd be turned on by this," You tell her. You pump your finger a few more times before adding another.
"I am," Natasha agrees.
"Is this what you want, Tasha?” You slap her ass. "For me to fuck you like this. Have you dripping all over my desk?"
"Y/n," Natasha groans. "Stop teasing and give me what I want."
"What do you want, Natasha?" You question, curling your fingers. Twisting them as you thrust back into her.
"I want you to make me come."
"Not yet." You tell her. "I want to hear you."
"Baby," She whines, her hips rocking against the desk.
"What is it?"
"You're driving me crazy." She pants. "You have no idea what this is doing to me."
"I have some idea," You say cheekily as you watch your fingers, glistening with her slick, slide in and out of her with ease.
"Stop teasing and fuck me," She hisses.
"You want me to fuck you?"
"Please, y/n." She moans. "I'm so wet for you."
"I know," You hum. You push her legs open a bit wider. "Stay still for me."
"Fuck," She whimpers.
You lean over and pepper her back with kisses. Her skin is so warm and soft. You wish you could take your time, but you're both already on borrowed time. You speed up then, using your hips to add the slightest bit of force behind your thrusts. You know she likes it, her body shivering beneath you.
"That's it," She coos.
You place a hand on her back and move your thumb to her clit. You begin rubbing it in slow, circular motions. Natasha turns her head against the cool surface of the desk, her nipples becoming hard pebbles against the wood.
"I love seeing you like this," You whisper. "Taking everything I have to give."
Natasha's only response is a deep whimper. Not good enough for you.
"You love taking my fingers," You taunt. "But not as much as I love giving them to you."
"Shit, y/n, fuck." Natasha's body begins trembling. Her breathing becomes uneven. Her pussy walls fluttering against your fingers.
"Are you going to come, Tasha?"
"Yes, fuck." She cries. "Make me come, baby."
"Fuck, I love it when you call me that." You groan. You add a third finger, pumping faster. Her body quakes as you hit the right spot. Her toes curl as her orgasm tears through her body. Her moans are unbridled now, and you reach forward to press a hand against her mouth. That seems to turn her on more. Her body shaking beneath yours. Her body jerking from the aftershocks.
"Are you okay, baby?"
"I'm better than okay," She grins. "But if you don't fuck me again in the next five minutes, I'm leaving."
"Turn around," You instruct her. You help her on shaky legs to turn around and sit on your desk. This is going to be a bit more difficult to maneuver but you do. You drop to your knees and grab her thighs to pull her to the edge of the desk.
"I've need to taste you all day," You murmur to yourself.
"Baby," Natasha whimpers, her fingers resting atop your head. "I need you."
"You have me," You reply before swiping your tongue through her folds. She's so warm and delicious.
"Don't tease," She gasps, her legs trembling.
You look up at her from your place between her legs. Your eyes never leave hers as you wrap your lips around her clit, sucking.
"Just like that," She adds the gentlest bit of pressure for you to bob your head. The slurping noises for added effect have her head dropping down she can't handle it. "So close, baby. Don't stop."
"Never," You murmur against her. "I love this. Love eating you out."
"Y/n," She gasps, her hips lifting off the desk.
"Come for me, Natasha," You coax her.
She's so close to the edge, and she can't help it. She's helpless against the orgasm that rips through her body. She can barely hold herself up as you suck her through the orgasm, lapping up the juices spilling from her.
"Fuck," She whimpers.
You stand and kiss her, your tongue tangling with hers.
"Let me," She finally pulls back. She pulls you down to the floor before she pushes you onto your back. Rug burn be damned.
"Tasha," You gasp when she wastes no time in slipping two fingers inside of you.
"You're so wet," She groans. "I love you." She nuzzles your neck.
"I love you too." You murmur, reaching down to guide her thumb to your clit. "Harder."
Natasha's body covers yours. Her lips latch onto your neck. Her teeth scrape along the flesh. You know you're going to have a hickey there tomorrow. It doesn't matter. You're hers and she's yours.
"Tasha," You groan. "Please."
"Shh," She whispers, her other hand caressing your breast. She pinches your nipple, delighting in the shiver that runs through your body.
"Please," You beg her. "Make me come."
"Anything for you," Natasha smirks, curling her fingers. She thrusts harder. Faster.
"Fuck, I'm going to come." You warn her, your body tensing.
"I've got you," Natasha tells you. "I've got you, baby." She coos as you whimper pitifully.
"Don't stop," You beg. "Oh my god, don't stop."
"Never," She growls. "Come for me, y/n. I want you to soak my hand."
You cry out as you reach your peak. Your back arches off the carpet, and you ram yourself onto her fingers. You don't want to lose this feeling.
"Fuck, I can't," You sob.
"You can," She whispers, her breath fanning across your lips. "One more. Come on, baby."
"I can't," You sob. "Tasha, please."
"I've got you," Natasha promises.
Your body begins shaking as a second orgasm rips through your body. You're unable to form words as you're consumed by your desire. You don't even remember that you're at work and the possibility that if anyone were to come by your office, they could probably hear you.
"There you go," Natasha smiles, her eyes focused on you. "I'm right here, baby."
"Tasha," You whimper.
"Right here."
"Don't move," You pant.
Natasha uses her unoccupied hand to open the bottom drawer of your desk and take out a towel.
"What are you doing?" You ask her.
"I'm going to clean you up," She says, gently wiping your inner thighs.
"Thank you," You whisper.
"Always," She smiles.
"You're so good to me."
"You're pretty good to me," She winks, kissing the top of your head.
"What time is it?"
"Time for us to get the hell out of here." Natasha laughs.
"You're right," You sigh. "Can we go home?"
"I was thinking maybe we could order a pizza, put on a movie, and have dessert later."
"I think I could deal with that." You nod. "I can't walk just yet."
"I'll carry you," Natasha teases with a smug look.
"Shut up," You laugh, swatting her away. "You know you're a little cocky after we fuck."
"And you're cute."
"Stop," You groan.
"I don't want to," Natasha replies.
"What do you want?"
"You," She answers. "Always."
"I'll be yours forever."
"Forever," She repeats.
"We should go," You whisper.
"I'm ready when you are."
"Let's get out of here."
Coming out of the office would be a little awkward. You should probably open a window. Your cheeks heat up at the thought. It was some of the hottest sex you had with her, and you can't believe that it happened here.
"You look nervous," Natasha notes.
"I'm not," You say.
"Liar."
"Tasha, come on. Let's go home."
"Whatever you say," She grins, taking your hand in hers.
"You're annoying," You mutter.
"And yet, you still love me."
"Unfortunately," You grin.
"I heard that," She calls.
"I meant for you to hear it."
"Brat," She says affectionately.
You really do love her.

My thoughts about Devil's Minion right now after Rolin Jones' comments (spoilers):
A meta so thorough, that I first wrote in a post/reply elsewhere, I'm putting it into a separate post, (with some more added to it), just because. And especially since I know I've gotten a lot of followers over the course of Season 2 because of my Devil's Minion posts as well, and I want this all in a separate, individual post for quick reference, just in case.
Fair warning: if you are totally happy and fine about what happened -- i.e. how Armand turned Daniel -- then yeah, what I am going to say here isn't for you. I'm not trying to harsh anyone's vibe, especially if you are just happy that Daniel is a vampire now, okay? This is just about how I feel and see things about it at the moment (particularly regarding RJs comments about it). So if you're not up for criticism, critique, as well as speculation about Devil's Minion right now, then yeah. IMO, just skip this post, please.
Okay. So. Rolin Jones just gave an interview with The Hollywood Reporter and this is what he said about Daniel's turning by Armand:
Jones confirms that, just like in Rice’s books, Armand is the one who turns Daniel into a vampire. “Will we see that moment of turning? No, but Armand finally made a vampire and clearly made him out of spite,” he says with a laugh. “It looks like it was really not a great moment [between him and Daniel], but that connects those two characters. They will have scenes going forward, obviously.”
-- Rolin Jones, Hollywood Reporter, 06/30/24
Okay so, to start. For me, someone who has been waiting since 1995 (when I was 17) for Devil's Minion, for Armand and Daniel's relationship to finally be adapted in some way, I'll be honest. There are only two ways this can go now that I can see at the moment: either Rolin is lying/trolling to hide the truth about all of this, or he is telling the truth and this is truly the way they are going with this.
If Rolin is lying/trolling to hide something about all of this, then I'll forgive that lying/trolling instantly once it's revealed that he was. (Put a pin in this.) Having to flat-out lie or troll is sometimes par for the course when it comes to running a show and not wanting to spoil anything about what might be coming up in it. So honestly, if that's what's going on with what he said here? Meh. No skin off my nose.
If he is telling the truth, however? Then I'll have zero desire to watch the show anymore, once I see it 100% confirmed in some way with my own two eyes in some way on screen somehow. (Again, pin in this.) Because I have very much learned my lesson when it comes to TV shows and lazy writing/bad adaptations after Game of Thrones.
Because Armand turning Daniel out of spite is the antithesis of what Devil's Minion is supposed to be for both characters. It is an utter and complete misunderstanding of both characters and their relationship together. It's an utter downgrade of their relationship from the books, and I am not here for it. I literally do not care what "romance" they might later have planned for them if this is how Daniel was turned.
Look. If you are someone who only ever cared about Daniel just being a vampire, then this is all likely fine for you, and that's okay. But not me. Because Daniel being a vampire never was, or has been, the important part of Armand and Daniel's relationship. Not in my eyes and, frankly, not when it comes to the original story. Daniel becoming a vampire is not the important part of the Devil's Minion story. The actual love and romance before Daniel is turned is because it is during that part of it that the actual character development and growth both of them go through from it takes place. Especially for Armand's character.
And that only has any depth when Daniel is human and Armand is forever refusing to turn him because of his hangups about making another vampire.
And Armand finally turning Daniel out of love was a huge step that showed Armand beginning to move forward and heal -- from not only his time in the Children of Darkness cult, but begin his healing when it comes to his Marius issues as well.
Armand turning Daniel out of spite undercuts all of that. It undercuts the whole story. And flat-out guts some of the major depth of the relationship and Armand's character development overall.
Not to mention it makes Daniel no better than someone like Claudia wrt Armand turning him now. Maybe even less than her since at least Claudia got turned out of Lestat's love for someone else. Daniel doesn't even get that? The person who is supposed to be his eternal companion doesn't even get turned by him out of love, an important point to the bond between such Maker and Fledgling eternal companions, but out of hate and spite instead?
Yeah, no thank you.
This is not what I've waited since 1995 to see with these two and the fact their relationship may have gotten treated like this -- if this is true -- utterly astounds me how this show could get Loustat so right (and even upgrade them so beautifully in so many ways such as with Louis' turning) and utterly fail Devil's Minion so badly. Because yes, it's failing them. It's a terrible and, moreover, just a shallow adaptation of Devil's Minion if this is how it really all goes down.
Because there is way more to Armand and Daniel than them just Daniel being a vampire and them finally "getting together." Or at least there is supposed to be. And this ain't it.
(Pin!) Now, with that all said? The fact that Rolin flat out says that we'll never see Armand turning Daniel? Yeah okay, I'm sus on that one. Because really. The only reason not to show Armand turning Daniel next season -- and visually confirm that Armand did it -- is if because . . . Armand never actually turned Daniel in the first damn place.
Or, if he did, it maybe was not fully Daniel.
I mean, you're not going to ever actually show Armand turning his first-ever fledgling (who he's supposed to go on to have a romantic relationship with at some point) after making a big ass deal out of the fact that Armand has never turned anyone before? Ever?
Tumblr media
See I know damn well that Armand is being framed as a villain right now. He very much has to be given how the end of the book IWTV and how the upcoming book The Vampire Lestat, goes. Armand is the main villain/antagonist in it. Even in the present day, it is clear Armand hasn't gone yet gone through all of the growth that he does from Queen of the Damned on. So he's still back in his villain-era mode right now. And his post-breakup with Louis mode in the present day. Which is fine, it's how his story -- and the story where it is right now -- goes. I am thoroughly okay with that.
And the very idea that Armand turned Daniel out of spite? Very much plays into that framing-him-as-a-villian state where Armand's character is right now. And will be for the majority of Season 3, which I've already before now suspected and said.
So here is where the speculation on my end of things comes in. Because yeah, not only can I not help myself but because -- until I see this play out with my own eyes -- I'm willing to be reasonable and look at the various ways this all could still play out that doesn't completely gut out the very heart of Armand and Daniel -- as characters and their relationship together. (Or at least not have it be so damn shallow by the end when they inevitably get and stay together.)
So as @nalyra-dreaming can confirm, I gave her a few scenarios that could be behind Daniel's turning weeks ago, when I first suspected it was going to happen (before the screener leaks about it started). In one of the scenarios, I said that if Daniel's vampire eyes are any color other than violet, then that is NOT Daniel's spirit/soul/consciousness in Daniel's body that has been made a vampire.
As the saying goes, "The eyes are the window into the soul." And am I really supposed to think this show got Lestat and Louis' eye color dead on correct but just missed Daniel's iconic eye color? Really? (Because no, I do not find it romantic that Daniel has his Maker's eye color, or whatever. Besides, vampire eye color doesn't even work like that -- the show didn't even do that with Louis and Lestat who are the main, grand romantic couple of the damn show.)
As I said here in this reblog, I stand by my opinion/theory that no way this show gets Daniel's iconic violet eye color wrong, even on accident. I said so weeks ago, before even seeing Daniel's eyes in that final shot in the season finale, and just predicting that he was going to get turned.
No way this show got Daniel's iconic eye color wrong when he became a vampire, not when they went to all the damn trouble creating those vampire contacts and gave Jacob's Louis green eyes to match book-Louis.
And yes I damn well know they could just have Daniel pop up with violet vampire eyes in the Season 3 premiere and there goes all of that, and it really was all just laziness, incompetence, and a mistake when it came to the color of Daniel's eyes in the finale. But right now? I'm treating Daniel's eye color as the equivalent of Rolin saying "Lelio is so boring!" as to the question of why Sam's Lestat was playing Harlequin and not Lelio in the Season 2 theater flashbacks. Something the show changed on purpose and for a reason.
Because we all damn well know that we are going to see Sam's Lestat as Lelio in Season 3, correct? Because we are.
And yes. I know some people really hate the idea of a body swap scenario regarding Daniel, but I'm sorry. At this point, it really is the only scenario out of this whole storyline that I can see right now, that will keep it anywhere close to retaining the heart of the Devil's Minion storyline, especially if Armand really did turn Daniel out of spite here (even though, again, we'll apparently never see that turning to confirm that in full. Uh-huh, okay.).
And two things that I think do set up the possibility are:
1.) Louis says Daniel was turned after he left Armand alone with him. But Louis actually wouldn't know something like that unless he was told since he wasn't there. All we can really assume at the moment is that Daniel told Louis what happened after Louis left the room. And as RJ and Assad said, we'll never see the actual turning. So who knows when the hell it happened.
2.) Raglan James, via those direct messages asking Daniel for "reciprocation" for getting him a copy of the script, with Armand's handwritten notes, of the trial-play. Between that request and the Talamasca publishing Daniel's book, that loops Daniel into the James orbit very much. And ties Daniel very close to any Talamasca going on even more.
And, quite frankly, I've thought since Season 1 that David Talbot's character was out and would be merged with both Louis and Daniel on the show. And Sam pretty much confirmed in his interview with Autumn Brown that some characters from the books will be merged together with others in the show. So, yeah. David's character is very much a character I always thought they were doing that with, and I know I'm not the only one who's thought it before now as well.
And honestly, I can much better deal with some type of scenario in which Armand maybe ends up turning two versions of "Daniel" -- and therefore technically having two fledglings, even though they are kind of the same person -- over what is being put forth about this right now. One turning -- in spite -- of Daniel's body without his true spirit/soul/consciousness in it, and the other turning -- out of love -- of Daniel's spirit/soul/consciousness inside a different body of some kind. (Which I won't go into now, as that is a whole separate long meta if I did.)
Because at least with that scenario then, in a weird way, Daniel being Armand's only fledgling would still hold. 🤷🏾‍♀️ Along with a few other things that can happen regarding Armand's character growth in between each turning.
But that is it. Because there is no way they can have Armand turn Daniel (as fully Daniel) out of spite -- as Rolin directly says he does in this interview -- and actually keep the heart of the Devil's Minion story and romance now. Not even if the Devil's Minion chase and parts of the relationship happened in the past IMO . . . another thing they are clearly avoiding talking about, btw. Which, at least right now, just tells me that, if we're lucky, we'll only -- once again -- get one episode that flashes back to that time in Season 3. Can't really be helped, since Season 3's primary focus will be regarding Lestat and Lestat's backstory. (As I've said before Daniel isn't even in that book. So whatever we get with him in Season 3 really will just be extra, added stuff.)
Oh, and something else I very much recognize is that Loustat shippers -- particularly book ones -- have gone through it these past two seasons, but now seem to be coming out of that darkness. Maybe now it's time for Devil's Minion shippers like me and others to face the same damn thing now. Because of something Assad let slip a few weeks ago about not getting Armand's full story until Season 4, I think that is how long we're going to have to wait to see the full of this play out.
But I advise right now that if some of you think you can't handle that and would just rather quit the show and binge things later, I totally get it. Waiting two seasons -- basically 4 years minimum -- is going to be a pain in the ass. I already know right now that there are some things I'm not going to have the patience for during the hiatus times in between, particularly this one. (One thing I can already say, at least right now, is that I'm not inspired to write any show-based Devil's Minion fanfic this hiatus like I did during the last hiatus).
But quitting the show altogether? No, I'm not there yet. Because yes Rolin does like to troll. Plus Hannah's tweet. Plus what was said about Devil's Minion at ATX Festival. Plus my thinking, long before now, that David Talbot was always out wrt the show, and the fact that Raglan James is here and Daniel's character has been heavily tied into The Talamasca plotline of the show.
And given everything I've seen this show do wrt it's writing up until now, I just can't fully believe they would really make Devil's Minion this damn shallow and devoid of its depth and heart. And just have Armand turn his one and only canon fledgling and immortal companion out of nothing but spite. When Armand loving Daniel and finally having to trust in Daniel's love for him, as well as his own love for Daniel over his own fear was a major point and culmination of the Devil's Minion storyline.
After everything I've seen these first two seasons wrt this show, I can't think these writers would miss such an important heart and point of the Devil's Minion storyline and romance so completely.
Not yet at any rate.

Great interview with Eric Bogosian
Vulture article
Eric Bogosian Would Get Naked for Interview With the Vampire 10:31 A.M.
Daniel Molloy is a fictional two-time Pulitzer Prize winner, bullshitometer, and sass-kitten, an aging journalist holding his own among monsters while conducting the titular Q&A at the heart of Interview With the Vampire. With clear-eyed wit and a dash of human vulnerability, Eric Bogosian gives Molloy a distinctly Anthony Bourdain–ish edge infused with notes of his own acerbic Talk Radio character Barry Champlain. In Anne Rice’s book and the movie that followed, Daniel Molloy is a cub reporter trembling over his tape deck. But in Rolin Jones’s brilliant AMC adaptation, which just wrapped up its second season, this isn’t Molloy’s first twirl around the vampire hoedown. The conversation takes place 50 years after that first interview ended in blood, gore, and sexual frustration (Luke Brandon Field plays the younger Molloy in flashbacks, including this season’s standout episode five). Now Molloy’s seen it all, has a loaded past with these vamps, and when he trembles, it’s from Parkinson’s, rarely nerves. Molloy’s the audience surrogate, cutting through Louis (Jacob Anderson) and Armand’s (Assad Zaman) competing narratives while ultimately shipping Loustat just like the rest of us.
This delicate dynamic got slammed into a concrete wall and lit on fire (complimentary) in the final minutes of the season-two finale, when Molloy was revealed to have been turned into a vampire by Armand, breaking the ancient vampire’s centuries-long incel streak. And boy, is it a reveal, with a cocky Molloy, riding high on his best-selling book, whipping off his sunglasses at night to reveal color-changing eyes while doing mental walkie-talkie with Louis. He’s even got a sick leather jacket to really hammer home that he’s a cool bad-boy vampire now. It’s an incredibly fun beat to leave this character on and opens up a world of season-three possibilities for Bogosian as a performer who, at 71, has always wanted to play a vampire.
Do you know how weird it is to be hitting record on my MacBook right now to interview you about playing a character who’s always hitting record on his MacBook to interview people?
It’s all weird to me. I’m from another century, so all these things are new to me.
This is suspiciously sounding more and more like an interview with a vampire by the minute! Which makes sense, considering where we last saw Daniel in the finale.
Since we have multiple narratives and jump around in time already, I don’t know where things are going. Personally, I’d love to see more of young Daniel, Luke Brandon Field. I think he’s terrific. I’d love to see more Claudia. I wonder whether vampires can time travel. I think they can move around in time. I’m not sure how much Anne Rice you’ve read, but Merrick can actually bring people back from the dead, so you never know.
What was your relationship to the books when you signed on to this show?
In the mid-’70s, when Interview With the Vampire came out, I was 20-something and reading that stuff and I loved it. Then I got distracted by life. When we started doing the show, I was going to read the first one again, but then I realized that the script and my character were quite different, so I thought, I better stick to the script.
However, I needed to know what happened next, so I started plowing through the books and it was amazing. The Vampire Lestat was a trip — that’s what they’ll be hitting next — and they just got trippier and trippier. I just finished the seventh, which puts all the stories together. I love Anne Rice because her imagination is completely unfettered and she plays with really deep themes in a way that’s not heavy. It’s not like you’re reading Ayn Rand; it’s more like Stephen King. She explores death in the guise of these vampires by asking, Oh yeah, you wanna be immortal? Here’s what immortal looks like.
I’ve always been a big fan of vamps. I lobbied Francis Ford Coppola to get a part in his Dracula in the ’90s. I guess I wasn’t a big star, so I couldn’t get a part in it, but he was nice about it and invited me to set. I’ve told this story in other interviews, but my wife was directing a play in Chicago, which, totally by coincidence, was written by one of our first-year writers. On the plane there, I was thinking about life, thinking, I’ve done so many things. What’s left? And I thought, Man, I still really want to play a vampire. And when I landed, I got a phone call: “Do you want to be on Interview With the Vampire?” At the time, it wasn’t like, “You’re going to be a vampire,” but I figured vampire-adjacent was good enough. And of course, it evolved, and as I got on set, Assad was explaining all of these things that were going to happen with my character. Sometimes I didn’t even want to hear about it because we never know what’s going to happen. There have been slight detours off the main story, particularly with my character.
What were those things you didn’t want to hear about your character that Assad was talking about?
I become, you know, under his spell in later stories, and there’s a whole relationship that goes on between us. I’m not entirely clear at this point how that’s going to shake out or if it’s going to shake out. I didn’t necessarily want to go waltzing into something where they were making me do anything weird or awkward or embarrassing to no particular end. I’ve done nudity and stuff like that a long time ago, and at 71, I’m not really big on getting naked and sexy onscreen.
However, having been around the genius of Rolin Jones for two years, whatever he wants to do, I’ll do it. When you’re around a master like this, it becomes a process of discovery. When I’m learning my lines it’s like, Oh, this is 3-D chess. There’s a lot going on here that I didn’t see the first time I read it. When I first got this job, I thought I was just going to be doing bookends every episode, like, “So, tell me the story,” and then it would be vampires the whole time, and at the end I’d be like, “Hmmm!” And then, “stay tuned for the next episode!” But Rolin had this idea from the beginning and it went deeper and deeper until it was insane by the end of the second season.
I would prefer not to be playing cliché. Sometimes I’m playing something that feels like a lot of other things I’ve done. Even in the service of a show that is terrific, like Succession or Billions, the things I’m doing on those shows are not things I’ve never done before. As a friend of mine said when I was doing Under Siege 2 with Steven Seagal 1,000 years ago, “They just want you to do that Eric thing you do.” My stage stuff is about being very big and very loud, and a lot of the stuff I do on-camera is like in Uncut Gems, being very angry and very broad. But this thing, particularly in the fifth episode, and going into the end — I have to go places that I’ve never gone as an actor before. The subtlety of episode five, where I am brought to tears, that’s new stuff for me, and I was really happy to do it. Not only working with Rolin and the directors but with everybody. The writers bring a lot of sensitivity, a lot of nuance to every scene.
I need to ask if you’ve seen this: Someone from the writers’ room tweeted a picture of a note card that was on the wall for episode five and it just says, “MOLLOY ASKS ABOUT 1973: DID WE FUCK?”
I love that beat. As much as I’m known for my verbosity, I love reaction stuff, too. Jacob and I are very in sync, and we’ve developed a good relationship. He’s not holding back, he’s not being cagey, and that allows you to trust the other person a lot. You’d be amazed how some actors … are actually not good actors. They’re thinking about what they look like and all this crap. Jacob can’t be thinking about what he looks like because sometimes he looks really nasty. He’s letting the emotions build out of him. And yet he’s always very adept at sculpting what he’s doing. It’s a great company. I never work with Sam, I just see him all the time on set, but that scene in the courtroom, and the scene in New Orleans … where’s that shit coming from? The emotion is wild.
You all have incredible chemistry with each other, too. Knowing where your character might go with Armand, or what other buried history may or may not also be between them, how do you play that dynamic?
In scripted narratives, you’ve just got to play what the script is doing and let the audience try to figure out the rest of it. On Succession, I worked with Sarah Snook, and her character was never clear until the end. They were making it very hard to figure out what she was thinking. And I don’t know that she always knew herself what she was thinking. She was playing the script.
There are a lot of ways to look at it, and ask, What’s really going on here? Much of it is the audience putting it together. They hear the lines, they see my face, and an older actor’s face kind of has a narrative built into it. All of it gets put together, and what you don’t know becomes fodder for your imagination.
And this audience has quite the imagination.
I’ve never been through this experience before, exploring where the audience is at. I’m reading a lot of the blogs, and they make a science out of it. Rolin gives them all they can eat in terms of details and Easter eggs that are blended into the story. I think like 30 percent of our audience is really familiar with the books, so they’re constantly checking back and forth between Anne Rice’s story and ours. So far, Rolin’s been scoring pretty well in terms of being consistent with the original material.
But again, Daniel is a whole different ball of wax. The Armand thing is interesting, because it goes into all kinds of fascinating realms far away and weird. I had to get out history books and start reading about ancient Kyiv.
The fans aren’t even just pulling from the books; I’ve seen some draw comparisons from your work like Sex, Drugs, Rock & Roll. They’re finding all these crazy parallels.
That I haven’t seen. The character in this show and me in real life have a lot of parallels. Just imagine young Daniel in the show, that was my life. The funny thing is when I used to write and perform these monologues, in my mind they didn’t have anything to do with me. And then last year, Andre Royo, who played Bubs on The Wire, did one of my shows, Drinking in America, onstage. This was the first time that I’ve watched my own solo show, and he did a great job. I started to understand the biographical aspects of these monologues. It isn’t until afterward that I can look at it and go, Oh right, this is about that. Rolin told me that they were always thinking of me for this role. He didn’t know me, so this was coming out of his enthusiasm for a movie I did 700 years ago, Talk Radio with Oliver Stone. That was based on a play I wrote for myself. What I write about has to do with a certain kind of narcissistic personality, which seems to be the theme of this TV show — they’re all narcissists in one way or another.
I’m fascinated by my character. In episode five, when he’s in San Francisco, he’s kind of a loser. That’s what Armand says: “You might as well die right now. Where’s your life going?” And yet Daniel has two Pulitzer Prizes by the time he’s an older guy. What is that about? I would almost not believe it except that it happened to me. I was leading a really dissolute life in the late ’70s into the early ’80s. I didn’t win a Pulitzer, but I was nominated in 1987 and continued to be, I guess, “successful.” So it makes sense that it happens to Daniel. But you can also ask, What motivates this? It’s a way of fighting against the world or maintaining your sanity.
I think I’ll continue to play with the push-pull of this guy if I continue with the show. In San Francisco, he says, “Make me a vampire.” Later in Dubai, he says, “No, I don’t want it, because I’ll outlive my children.” He’s going back and forth. Of course, what we don’t see in the last episode is how did he become a vamp? Did he say, “Yeah, I want to do it?” Or did he get drunk with Armand one night and when he wasn’t looking, he became a vampire? I guess we’ll find out.
I’m sure it’s the subject of dozens of fan fictions already.
I’ve gotten so close with Assad. We’ve enjoyed spending a lot of time with each other. But when he gets on set, he turns into a different person. That’s some evil shit going on there. The way he ends up in that last episode, kind of smashed, he put everything into that. It’s a lot of fun. I never got into this business to do anything other than make believe and pretend. I feel more whole when I’m being somebody else than when I’m my own self, so the more deeply we can pretend when we’re making the show, the more deeply we can get into all of this, the higher I get from it. And when you’ve got guys like this who are ready to fly, I want to go flying with them.
I know you said you don’t really know what’s happening next season, but I look forward to your vampire adventures.
Rolin keeps sending me notes saying we’re gonna have an amazing time when we start shooting again. I can’t wait. It’s just that there’s a whole formal process of how this goes, and I’m waiting for my engraved invitation from the King of AMC to say “welcome back.”

With the series two finale of INTERVIEW WITH THE VAMPIRE here, there are a number of new interview with the cast and Rollin Jones. So far Variety, The Hollywood Reporter, The Wrap, The Daily Beast, Vanity Fair (paywalled), the L.A. Times, TV Insider, ScreenRant and Decider have posted interviews. Surely, E.W. will hit soon.
NY Times has a new interview with Ben Daniels. Other than one or two interviews ahead of the premiere, Daniels has not done press due to the loss of his husband Ian Gelder (Game of Thrones). In the NYT interview he talks of not being able to watch this season due to the memories it brings back of filming while dealing with his husband's diagnosis.
In one of the interviews Sam Reid doubles down on Jacob Anderson's statement that only he and Sam will ever know what Louis and Lestat say to each other during their reunion.
Some of my favourite twitter reactions over the last few episodes.

f1updates daphne jones preformed tonight at the circuit of the americas after the race earlier in the day. this marks the one-year anniversary since the eldest jones made her f1 debut. this also marks the singer’s first concert of the year since the end of her 1989 world tour. over 80,000 fans were in attendance and the superstar preformed some of her greatest hits including you belong with me, shake it off, and enchanted.

user38 her tour flopped, it’s why she’s only preformed once this entire year
user72 or maybe the entire internet has been harassing her and she hasn’t felt mentally stable to preform? user68 friendly reminder that celebrities are people too. they have feelings like us and any other person.
user97 she looks stunning! despite everything happening she's glowing. am i curious why? yes. but she'll talk about it when she's ready.
user83 kim was right about her. she’s a snake.

user91 genuine question but why invite daphne jones? does she know anything about f1? or was it to sell tickets?
f1updates our best guess is that this was a marketing tool seeing as formula one isn’t as popular here in the states as it is in the rest of the world. daphne jones is a huge pop star and she would get the attention they need. she’s also close friends with max verstappen, carlos sainz, and daniel ricciardo.
user27 she’s trying to find a new f1 driver to sleep with. probably slept with half the grid by now. she needs to sleep around to be able to write music. she doesn’t sell without the men in her life.

user58 daphne doesn't deserve the hate she is getting. props to f1updates for standing up for her, we aren't seeing a lot of that these days. f1updates this page was made to inform fans of f1 news not drama surrounding the drivers and their friends. we do not tolerate hate towards anyone

¡leclerc-s speaks! fear not people, a flashback to how we got here will be posted soon. please ignore the likes as they are not relevant to the story. it just looked too weird without anything down there (it’s just randomized numbers). i've also taken creative freedom with certain aspects of events that have unfolded. i didn't want to speak much about specific events so i've only skimmed over them. 2016 was truly not the year of the jones' sisters hence the mention of the mae x max break up.
ÂĄdisclaimer! this is in no way making assumptions about the people involved in this story, this is all fake. it is a fanfiction please don't take any of what is said seriously. this is all for entertainment purposes and as a creative outlet for me. enjoy!

Season 1 episode 7 [The Thing Lay Still] - part 3/3
- Okay, the triple confrontation Daniel/Louis, Daniel/Armand and Louis/Louis is long but there's so much to say, I have to quote it entirely:
[Daniel] "Well, isn't that neat and tidy?" - THANK YOU DANIEL, I know I can always count on you to point out the flaws and holes in the fabric of Louis' recollection.
[Louis] "'There was a ship. We did get on it.'
[Daniel] 'Yeah, I read that, the first 50 pages. Not exactly the, uh, adventure-of-our-lives feeling I'm feeling.'
[Louis] 'It was a traumatic escape.'
[Daniel] 'Yeah, but she didn't say that explicitly. […] But, um… there's a feeling that she hated your guts there for a while. Why is that?'"
Trust Daniel to always see the little thing that would be inconsequential to anyone else.
[Louis] "'I was haunted by my brother's death, by the abandonment of my sister, by the murder of Lestat, I…'
[Daniel] 'Murder? What murder? It was an act of mercy. You didn't kill Lestat. You spared him out of some fucked-up idea you had about love.'
[Louis] 'Love? I bled him like a pig and waited for the death rattle.'"
Oh, Louis. You are so good at lying to yourself. Good thing Daniel's too much of an excellent investigative reporter to let you fool him like you're fooling yourself. Notice how Louis looks as Daniel undoes all his lies and smoke mirrors? Like he's still trying to cling so hard to the story he's told himself for the past 80 years, like the lie is the only thing that keeps him upright, like if he admits the love, admits he wanted to save Lestat, that would completely undo him and there would be no going back?
[Daniel] "You were shot point-blank by an alderman. You were dropped a thousand feet and survived. You torched Antoinette just to make sure. Where does the trash go, Louis? You take the trash down to the street, some guys show up in a truck and they throw it in the back, and then, they drive it out to the middle of nowhere, right? No. They take the trash to the dump. And having lived two blocks away from the dump just outside of Fishkill, New York, with my first wife, I can state, with authority, what else you'll find there. Rats. Big fucking rats, the size of Kevin Durant's sneakers. Enough blood in them to bring back the dead. Especially one in a trunk with locks on the inside. You knew it, Louis. You had to. The biggest rat eater of them all."
Thank you for bringing back Moonlight Sonata! Haven't figured out yet if it's intra or extradiegetic tho. I love its presence in this episode. It's my favourite piece of classical music (I know, very original) and it's so gothic par excellence.
Mention of the first wife, Alice/Armand, no, I will not get down from this hill.
I love how Daniel's theory posit Louis as having done some planning for himself outside of Claudia's and even Lestat's, with the trunks locking on the inside and the rats needed to revive.
[Rashid/Armand] "'This session is over.'
[Daniel] 'How many days in the Islamic year? How many names are there for Allah?'
[Rashid/Armand] '355 and 99.'
[Daniel] 'Why does a 200-pound bouncer pass out after he sucks him off, and you, a wet T-shirt away from 130, doesn't even blink?'"
Ha, Daniel said 'okay who the eff are you and why am I smelling bullshit'. Meanwhile Armand said 'oh shit we're getting too close to dangerous waters and Louis is about to lose it, better reassert control'. But also, Muslim!Armand. Definitely. Not a throwaway line, not just pretence. Rolin Jones I'm counting on you to not fuck this up.
[Louis] "'I couldn't burn him.'
[Daniel] 'But Claudia could.'
[Louis] 'No', she couldn't.'
[Daniel] 'She stuck a pen in his neck. She recorded his last words in his own blood. The girl did not have a fuckin' problem tossing him on the grill, okay?'"
And Louis' wall of lies is breaking and shattering… And the pebbles of the zen garden, his other big trauma, don't help either…
[Daniel] "You cursed her into the darkness. You chose Lestat over her time and time again. You don't need a memoir, Louis. You need a hundred sessions of EMDR. You know the shit they put soldiers through when they see one of their platoon buddies get blown up in front of them?"
Say it, Daniel! These messy vamps need therapy.
Making jokes to avoid the sheer anguish in Louis' face, voice and body language, both in the 1940 flashback (the image of Louis holding Lestat's body and yelling is tattooed on my eyelids) and in 2022 (Louis sitting in his zen garden hugging and rocking himself, eyes screwed shut, trying to block Daniel and Armand's voices and the memories lives rent free in my mind).
[Daniel] "'144 years and you're still Louis the Pimp, paying a whore to sit in a room and talk with you. 'Cause why? You got some story you wanna tell the whole world about yourself?'
[Rashid/Armand] 'When you hear it you'll be ashamed, ashamed of what you say to him now!'"
Please don't hold back, Danny, do tell us what you think exactly. But hey, Louis needs to hear it.
The fuck are you talking about, Armand… Also notice how agitated he is? Feeling protective of Louis, or feeling like he's losing control of the interview, the interviewee and the interviewer all at once?
Love Armand taking off is gloves in the background. So subtle, so crucial. And then the lenses.
[Daniel] "'This is the same shit that happened in San Francisco.'
[Louis] 'Not exactly.'
[Daniel] 'How is it any different, Louis?'
[Armand] 'This time I won't save your life. Louis can sometimes act out. I protect him from himself, always have. Stopped him that night in San Francisco.'"
Oh, hello, Armand's decided to play Superman. Aaaaah, Armand's orange eyes, I love them!!!
Can we talk about Armand's infantilisation of Louis? "He acts out, I protect him from himself"… Like a child that can't regulate his feelings and needs to be put on time's out. The manipulation is deep and multi-layered, it's not just the memory alteration. Notice how Louis is pretty much dissociating, staring at the grey wall, face slowly becoming inexpressive and voice returning to flat and empty, from the moment Armand started telling off Daniel?
[Daniel] "'You were there.'
[Louis] 'You don't remember.'
[Daniel] 'No, I don't remember.'
[Louis] 'What was that you said about memory? 'A monster', was it?'
[Daniel] 'But I saw you standing in the sun.'
[Armand] 'As we age, the sun loses its power over us. What's a mediocre star to a 514-year-old vampire?'
[Louis] 'Daniel Molloy, I'd like you to meet the vampire Armand, the love of my life.'"
One, don't be too cocky, Louis, there's plenty you don't remember about that night too yourself.
Two, and we've come full circle again, the monster memory making itself fully known after lurking all season long.
Three, shut up Armand, the Sun is not a mediocre star, it's part of the entire reason there's life on this planet, show some respect. Sun deities are some of the most frequent deities around the globe. You need to come back down to earth.
Four, all the books being out of reach to Louis, another way Armand's exerting subtle control.
Five, "love of my life", BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAGA *deep breath* HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HAAAAAA, that line kills me every time I hear time. Why you lying Louis, stop fucking lying all the time. Sorry, Armand.
Daniel seeing them side by side and hearing that stupid line after listening to Louis ramble and compose poetry on the spot about Lestat for the past week or so: "hm. I sense bullshit of the highest degree. Time to destroy that whole tower of lies one by one.".
Aaaaaaaaaah, that was such a rich and intense episode!!!! What a grandiose season 1 final!!! So many different elements that have got to be revisited by other perspectives to get the full painting. So many seeds planted for season 2 and even season 3!! The writing is flawless, the acting is exquisite, the music is gorgeous, the costume, set design and stage direction are masterful. I am in love with this show.

What Lurks Within, Pt. 1
Author's Note: I've never written one of these before, so I hope anyone who reads it can enjoy it.
Content: When the BAU is forced to consult on a case from a distance, the team finds themselves getting frustrated with the lack of communication from local law enforcement. After the unsub escalates, the team prepares to fly to Denver to tackle the case head-on.
Warnings: Typical BAU-level violence, hom!c!de, workplace harassment training (does that need a warning, lol?), mention of prison and Cat Adams, established relationship, all fluffy stuff for now
Tumblr media
Consulting on cases from afar was never the BAU’s strong suit. Relying on information provided by local law enforcement, rather than being hands-on at the scene, was a major inconvenience. However, a schedule mix-up over annual training and filing reports required our presence here, in D.C., rather than in Denver.
Matt and Luke had spent the afternoon pouring over files that arrived from the Denver office while Spencer and I were forced to sit through our annual workplace training. We were the last members of the team to partake in the training, and we weren’t any more excited than the rest of the team had been. We arrived around two o’clock, taking our seats next to each other. Then began the droning voice of the poor HR worker who was forced to reiterate the FBI’s spiel on workplace harassment and discrimination for the seven-hundredth time today.
I knew my boyfriend, so I knew Spencer wasn’t paying any attention. Both our minds were on the Denver case. Seven men with similar physical descriptions had gone missing over a span of three months. Their bodies, found discarded in local parks, had been bludgeoned beyond recognition.
It was difficult, of course, to understand what was happening when conflicting reports kept coming in from local law enforcement. Penelope was doing her best to work with their in-house tech teams to confirm or deny reports we received from the local police chief, but it was hard when they rarely answered her requests for more information. Between the lack of communication and the fact that this unsub did not seem to have any plans of slowing down, having to work this case in-house was really taking its toll on office morale.
Thankfully, the HR meeting only lasted an hour. Spencer and I received our lovely “congrats on completing this training” certificate to put in our files, and we quickly hurried out of the meeting room and back to the bullpen. Matt and Luke sat at their desks, hunkered over files. Luke was the first to notice our entrance into the room, shaking his head in disbelief.
“I don’t understand how I am supposed to build a geographical profile when I have two separate conflicting reports of where the body was found for the same murder,” Luke said. He rose from his desk and rubbed his eyes, “It’s like Denver doesn’t want us to help them.”
Matt looked up from his desk, nodding in agreement. Noticing our presence in the room, he leaned back in his chair. “Thankfully Garcia is doing a hell of a job with victimology, but you two have your work cut out for you unless you get some confirmation on the accuracy of these reports.” He gestured to the files in front of him, “It’s an absolute disaster.”
Luke nodded fiercely in agreement, grasping the file in his hand with frustration. “Reid, just come look at this and tell me if I’m missing something here,” Luke held the file out in front of him. Spencer walked over to Luke, taking the file from him and thumbing through the pages.
Spencer cleared his throat, eyebrows knitting together, “This page says that Daniel Jones was found dead in a small park behind a swing set, but this page says he was found bound and gagged behind a dumpster at a local coffee shop in Denver.”
Luke flung his arms out in front of him, letting out an exasperated huff. “Exactly! What am I supposed to do with that?” Luke looked utterly defeated, and the look on Matt’s face told me he wasn’t doing any better.
Trying to take some control of the situation unraveling in front of me, I offered a solution. “Matt, Luke. Why don’t you guys go home for a bit? You’ve been here since four in the morning, and it’s nearly three. Wash up, take a nap, and come back with fresh eyes.” I said it gently, hoping not to offend either of them.
Matt nodded in response, “I think Y/N has a point, Luke. We could both use a break.” Matt stood up from his desk chair, stretching before turning towards the door. “I don’t know about you, but I’m out of here,” he stated as he turned and headed for the elevator.
Luke gritted his teeth. “Alright, I guess I could use a break. But I’ll be back, and I swear that if Denver hasn’t given us something we can work with, I’ll-”
“Luke,” Spencer said, cutting him off, “Y/N is right. We’ll hold down the fort here. Just go home for a while.” Defeated, Luke lifted his coat off the back of his chair, tugging it over his shoulders.
“I hope you guys find something you can work with,” Luke mumbled, “Thanks for taking over, I’ll be back in a few hours.” With that, he followed Matt out of the bullpen in the direction of the elevators, leaving Spencer and I alone.
I sighed, knowing we had our work cut out for us. Spencer continued thumbing through the file Luke had handed him. He spoke up again, “Which would you prefer, honey,” Spencer gestured to the file in his hand and the file left open on Matt’s desk, “victimology, geographical profile, or trying to contact Denver?”
“Considering everyone else has been trying to get a hold of Denver all day, I’ll take a look at what Matt and Penelope put together on victimology,” I said with a small smile, “You’re better at the geo-profiles anyway.” I lifted the file off Matt’s desk as Spencer nodded, walking over to his desk and taking a seat.
For hours we poured over the mess of information we’d been provided. Matt was right, Penelope had done a heck of a job piecing together victimology. However, it wasn’t enough to make an educated guess on anything about the psychology of our unsub. Three o’clock quickly turned into ten o’clock, and I could feel my stomach growl. I looked over at Spencer’s desk, and even he looked like he could use something to eat.
“Hey, Spence,” I said, “have you made any progress over there?” He shifted in his seat, shutting the file and looking up at me.
“No, not really,” he sighed. “Luke was right. These reports are a mess.” I nodded in agreement and understanding, swiveling in my chair to face away from him. Staring down the hallway, the light from the vending machine caught my eye.
“Considering neither of us are making any groundbreaking discoveries, I’m gonna run to the vending machine. Do you want anything?” I swiveled my chair back around in his direction, awaiting his reply.
He looked up for a moment, seeming to give it some thought before shaking his head. “No thanks, Y/N. I really appreciate the offer, though.” He gave me a small nod.
“No problem, brainiac. I’ll be back in a few.” I turned on my heel and made my way out of the bullpen, pausing to look out the window next to the elevator. It was dark out and I wanted nothing more than to go home and wrap myself in a blanket, sinking into bed. “Too bad people decide to commit murder,” I thought out loud.
Continuing down the hallway to the vending machine, I reached in my pocket to pull out a couple dollars. Popping the bills into the machine and deciding on some off-brand bag of chips, I claimed my purchase from the machine and made my way back to the bullpen. Upon my arrival, I noticed Spencer wasn’t at his desk. I looked around for a moment, curious as to where he had gone, when I saw his mop of curls through the blinds to the briefing room.
Quietly making my way up the staircase, I approached the door and gently pushed it open. The boy-genius must have had some breakthrough, as he scribbled quickly on the white board, turning back to the meeting table to check one of the files he had brought up to the room with him. Suddenly, a mixed look of frustration and disappointment crossed his face and he sighed in defeat. Whatever lead he thought he had must have been unfruitful, and he wore a somber look as he thumbed through the files once more.
I remembered at that moment why I loved him so much. I stood in awe of the way his curls gently fell over his eyes, the way the veins in his hands became more pronounced when he examined the case file. His eyes, dark as they were, shone a deep brown color in the warm light of the room. I watched as he rubbed his eyes with the back of his hands, dragging a hand through his hair. We were tired, exhausted, and the case showed no signs of coming to a close anytime soon.
“Spencer,” I said, approaching him quietly, not wishing to disturb his work. He let out a long sigh, looking away from the file. I could almost see the gears stop shifting in his mind, as his thoughts grew smaller in his mind. The dark circles under his eyes were evident. I offered him a small smile, reaching for the case file in front of him, and gently closing it, slipping it under my arm. “All of this will still be here tomorrow, I think we should go home and rest.”
His lips pursed in evident disappointment, turning back to the whiteboard. I tried to make out his scribbles and notes, but his handwriting was so sloppy it was hardly legible. He turned back, resembling Luke’s defeat from hours before. Finally, he nodded in agreement. Standing up straight, he turned his head in circles, attempting to work out the soreness he felt after scanning files for hours. “We’re so close, Y/N, I can feel it,” he murmured as he turned to look at me, “so, so close.”
Our eyes locked for a moment before I turned my gaze to the ground in front of me. “I know, Spence. Unfortunately, there’s not much we can do until the police in Denver get back to us with more information tomorrow.” I leaned back on the meeting room table, crossing my arms in front of me.
“I know,” he said. He shuffled so he stood in front of me, running his hands up and down my crossed arms. “Should we go home?” Spencer asked, tilting his head and offering me a small smile.
“We should absolutely go home,” I murmured, leaning into his touch. He wrapped his arms around me, and I could smell his cologne mixed with a hint of coffee. I tucked my head under his chin, accepting this rare act of PDA as a result of our shared exhaustion. I felt his hands rubbing over my aching back, and I couldn’t have been more grateful for his presence.
“Are you ready to go?” he asked gently. I could feel his voice rattle through his chest, the vibration so soothing.
“No,” I giggled, “I think we should just stay like this forever.” I pulled back from him a bit so that I could examine his face. His stubble had grown in and stayed since his return from prison, and his eyes looked even more exhausted than usual, but he was still the same Spencer he’d always been.
I reflected briefly on our relationship. Though we’d only been dating for a year, I felt like I’d been with Spencer my entire life. Of course his stint in prison, his meeting with Cat Adams, and the team’s battle with Scratch had left emotional and physical scars on all of us, Spencer’s sweet demeanor remained unchanged. I admired his resilience, and his ability to see the good in others.
He brought me back to reality as he smiled again, leaning down to place a gentle kiss on my lips which I accepted with more fervor than he had anticipated. He rocked back away from me for a moment, raising his eyebrows. “Where did that boost of energy come from?” he asked, placing his hands on either side of my face.
“I don’t know, I was just looking at how pretty you are,” I said, bringing my hands to cover his. He looked at me for a moment, cocking his head to the side.
“You’re very pretty too, Miss L/N,” he said, forcing himself to pull his hands from my face and shove them into his pockets. He cleared his throat, trying to refocus on the topic at hand. “Now,” he started, “how about we both head back to my place and settle in for the evening? I’m no chef, but you and I both know I can order take-out like no other.” He scanned my face for a response.
“Sure, Spence. That sounds delightful,” I said while looping my arm in his.
“Off we go, then.” Arm in arm, Spencer and I walked to the elevator. No further words were exchanged, and we stood in comfortable silence as I clicked the button and awaited the arrival of the elevator.
The ding of the elevator signaled its arrival. Spencer moved forward, preparing to step on, when Luke came barreling off. He’d clearly showered, though he didn’t look much more well-rested.
“You two aren’t going to believe this,” his serious tone catching both Spencer and myself off guard. He didn’t stop to address us, either, making fast strides towards the bullpen.
“What is it, Luke?” I asked, turning to follow him as Spencer followed in suit. “Tell us what’s going on.” As we reentered the bullpen, Luke scanned our desktops. Eyes settling on Matt’s desk, he reached for the TV remote, scanning stations until it came to the national news. Cranking up the television volume, Spencer and I listened intently to what the reporter was saying:
“In Denver, Colorado, the bodies of three more young men have been discovered dumped in neighborhood parks across the city within the past week. Officials are warning residents to avoid these areas and to remain vigilant…”
“This guy is all over the place,” Luke said, shaking his head.
“At least this confirms he’s dumping the bodies in parks,” I shrugged. If the local police department wasn’t going to give us information, the media outlets would provide plenty.
“He’s escalating,” Spencer said, eyes narrowing at the screen. “Three within the past week is a significant increase from seven over a twelve week period.” Luke and I nodded in agreement.
“I’ll call Garcia and Prentiss,” Luke said, “maybe now that those god-awful trainings are over, we can finally fly out of here and get our hands on this case.” I responded in agreement as Spencer continued examining the news report. Luke reached for his phone, dialing some numbers before stepping away from Spencer and I, “Hey, Emily. It’s Alvez. I think we need to get to Denver right away…” His voice faded out as he walked farther away from us.
Spencer’s attention turned from the screen back to me. “So much for takeout,” he said with a sad smile. I put an arm around him, gently rubbing his back.
“We should’ve known it was too good to be true. Maybe we can get some snacks on the jet. Until then,” I gestured up to the unopened bag of chips I’d discarded on the table of the briefing room, “I’m going to go finish my dinner.”
Just as I started to walk away, I heard Luke’s voice call out, “Wheels up in 30. The rest of the team will meet us on the tarmac.” I sighed, turning back to look at Spencer who was already shoving files and notepads into his go-bag. I hurriedly grabbed my chips off the table and returned to the bullpen, mirroring Spencer’s frenzied packing.
After I finished collecting my things, Luke led Spencer and I down to the tarmac. JJ, Matt, Emily, and Rossi soon arrived as well. Spencer’s hand on my lower back guided me up the steps of the jet. Flying had never been my favorite thing. Since joining the team a year and a half ago, I’d only started to get used to it. Spencer, per usual, had been my saving grace, offering me comfort and a hand to hold during the flights. This evening would be no different.
Settling in our usual seats, Emily offered us each files full of what little information had been confirmed by local law enforcement and media outlets. She drew our attention to the files, gesturing to the one in her hand. “I know we don’t have a lot to go on. I have a feeling we’re going to have our work cut out for us on this one,” she said with a small nod. “I’d recommend you all try to take it easy on this flight, we’re going to be hard at work once we get to Denver.”
As we each nodded in agreement, I felt Spencer’s hand squeeze mine a little tighter. I gently laid my head on his shoulder, trying to take Emily’s advice. “Let’s rest, Spencer. Emily’s right, we’re not gonna do anyone good if we’re exhausted.” I felt his sigh of agreement as he rested his head back against the seat, closing his eyes. I followed suit, allowing sleep to take over.
Our ignorance, at that moment, was blissful. We had no idea what waited for us in Denver.
