Spoilers for stargate sg-1 season 2 ep 7
i'm loving this episode so far especially when teal'c doesn't understand the term "booby trap" and says in confusion "booby?"
Bro jack gets hurt and immediately calls to teal'c to kill it, and the way he touches to teal'c is just chef's kisses
Its funny when everyone is trying to think of a way to remove the thing inside jack but jacks in so much in pain he's like "where the hell is teal'c" (he trusts him to immediately to remove it) and yells his name when he see's teal'c
i love how teal'c is like annoyed with the process of removing the poll from jack because its so slow but he can't do anything
omgosh teal'c is keeping watch of jack
aww jack feels bad that teal'c is with him
I was so confused when teal'c said "undomesticated equines could not remove me" I thought he meant to say he would never move even if it was an order or something. But when I searched up the term it referred to horses. Then jack said "you told a joke" then sincerely whispered "Don't make me laugh, please" (probably because it hurts)
bruh they hit us with a "your a great friend" line (there so gay for each other)
okay I know this is a sad episode for jack but out of topic, this ep has a lot of Sam and Daniel moments for their friendship which is cute

So the Pilot Program's motives are teamwork (Jammer), network (K), community (Sam) and belonging (Evan). Something something the strongest magic is the links we forge with people (as seen in the first season and it's true more than ever now that the world is changing again, and they/people are more isolated). Hell yeah.

mismag 2 theory abt the origins of the well
my theory is that magic USED to be accessible for everyone until someone(s) made the decision to shield it from the majority of the world (maybe some catastrophic magic shiz happened), and in order to pull that off they had to construct a place for excess magic to collect and compound (the well)
so when our guys tried to spread magic to the world again, SURE, everybody can SEE magic is there now, but you can’t dismantle such an elaborate machine just by sharing information. i’d even go so far as to say that’s an intentional failsafe that whoever made the well built into the system
and speaking of failsafes, i’m pretty sure the storm serpent is another one, meant to protect the well

Cobra Kai season 6 part 2 finale prediction:
just before landing the winning kick against Robby, Kwon instead helps him up and they kiss in front of everyone while in live TV. Kwon confesses that he was jealous of Tory for having been with Robby but didn't know how to deal with his feelings so he just started flirting with her instead. Robby says that he was jealous too but not because Tory was with another guy, but because he didn't get to be the one who got to date Cobra Kai's new cute top student. They start wildly making out in the middle of the Sekai Taikai mats while everyone just stares at them for a while. But then Tory gets inspired and seeks out Sam. They start kissing too. Hawk shrugs, accepting his destiny, and grabs Demetri and they start making out as well. Johnny turns to Daniel, asking if "everyone is just gay now" before they confess their over 30 years lasting yearning for one another. That's when Kreese takes out the knife we see in the trailer, but instead of attacking anyone he uses it on himself. No one notices.
edit: seems like I was A LITTLE incorrect...

Didherodown's Official Danny Phantom episode recommendations
(for the fan who has never seen the series but is in the phandom)
Ordered in sequence of release (taken from imdb, so take that as you will)
Very Important episodes will be noted like this Episodes I think are fun and kinda important like this
enjoy!
Season 1: Has a lot of groundwork for the show, lots of introductions to our cast of Ghosts
Mystery Meat - E1
Where it all started, establishes Sam and Tuckers rivalry over food, our first encounter with the Lunch Lady, and Danny’s first outing as a hero in general
Episodes 2-6 : feature introductions to Dora, Skulker, Technus, Point Dexter, and Desiree
Bitter Reunions - E7
Our introduction to Vlad! Establishes Vlad vs Danny dynamic, Vlad's hate of Jack and his obsession with Maddie
Prisoners of Love - E8 is our intro to Walker
My Brothers Keeper - E9
Spectra makes her appearance! Shows a lot of Danny’s insecurities he has about being different, an outsider, ect.  And Jazz finds out Danny's identity!
Shades of Gray - E10
Our first meeting of Valerie, and where her life gets ruined by Cujo!
Fanning the Flames - E11 is our intro to Ember
Maternal Instincts - E17
Vlad is up to his scheming and tries to get both Danny and Maddie to join him and abandon Jack. (Introduces the Specter Deflector gadget, as well the the Plasmius Maximus)
The Million Dollar Ghost - E19
Vlad puts a bounty on Danny Phantom, making lots and lots of ghost hunters show up- including the GIW
Control Freaks - E20
Circus Gothica! The ringmaster- Freakshow- has a staff that he uses to control ghosts and Danny of course falls victim
Season 2: Has a lot of bangers- and is very heavy in the Danny Lore AND where a lot of fannon comes from (ghost king, trans danny, pharaoh tuck, ect)
Reign Storm - E4
In which Pariah Dark is awoken and goes on a rampage, sucking Amity Park into the Ghost zone. With the other ghosts also terrified of the Ghost King, Danny might be the only who has a chance to stop him (ghost king danny anyone????)
The Ultimate Enemy - E6
Danny cheats on a test, which we find out actually will end the world. Our introduction to Clockwork and the Eyeball Guys(™). And of course, Danny’s future evil self- Dan !!
King Tuck - E7
Where Tucker gets influenced by Hotep-Ra (origin of the Pharaoh Tucker fannon)
Identity Crisis - E8
Where we learn that simply splitting Danny from his ghost half is not an option, his ghost half is indeed half of him
Flirting with Disaster - E11
Where Danny and Valerie are dating. In this episode her original ghost fighting suit is destroyed and Technus makes her a new version- leading to lots of fannon about Valerie being a little more ghost than she thought
Kindred Spirits - E14
Cloning! Danielle! AHHHHHHH!!!! (trans Danny? All but confirmed /hj)
Reality Trip - E17
Where Freakshow is searching for the stones of the Reality Gauntlet (very reminiscent of the Infinity Gauntlet from Marvel)
Season 3: Often the most criticized of the three seasons, the show was canceled in this season. BUT THERE IS SO MUCH IMPORTANT LORE IN THIS ONE LETS GO
Infinite Realms - E2
Our first meeting with Frostbite! Also tells us a lot about how natural portals work AND the introduction of blood blossoms
Torrent of Terror - E4
Introduces Vortex, also Danny's mood affects the weather for a good part of this episode
Urban Jungle - E6
Undergrowth has taken over amity, making Sam his “Queen” because of her love and care of plants. THIS IS WHERE WE FIRST SEE DANNY’S ICE POWERS! AND WE LEARN ABOUT CORES! YES REALLY ONLY 6 EPISODES FROM THE END
Boxed Up Fury - E8
The Box ghost, upset at not being taken seriously- steals Pandora's Box, and well, that goes about as good as you imagine it going
D-Stablized - E11
Dani is literally dissolving into ectoplasm, and Danny has to find a way to save her before she destabilizes all the way. (Introduces Ecto Dejecto- a fanfic staple)
Now this is just my personal list- based on 20 years of being in this fandom (holy shit how can it be that long????)
Thanks for reading :)

IWTV spoilers, but.
Daniel Malloy really said ‘fuck you, Armand’, exposed 70+ years of lies and ended their relationship. Wouldn’t surprise me if he tweeted #teamloustat before Armand turned him, either. Good for him honestly. Good for him.
(more rambling in the tags)

Dude.
What did I watch??!
That entire segment of post Louis attacking Daniel and Armand coming in up to when Louis recounts being out in the sun… the lack of breathing and movement from me… shook.
Geez this entire episode was just visceral. Great acting all around, amazing chemistry, the writing, Luke was amaaaaazing as young Daniel.
I’m so speechless like I need to go outside to touch grass but the boogeyman is out there but I’d risk it! This episode changed my brain chemicals in a similar way that Possession (1981) has and I’ll be thinking of it for the rest of the week.
Daniel’s torture, Louis on literal fire, Dubai!Daniel who just wants to fucking understand, Armand who we know is fucking powerful and scary but my God… and that longing, that longing Louis has for Lestat. And these beats of silence and understanding between Daniel and Louis is just 👏🏽
This show is the epitome of beauty, tragedy and horror.
I love this show.

I always find it so wonderfully interesting when people prefer IWTV S1 to S2 but, tbh, they're both great seasons of television.
When I saw S1 as it premiered, I consistently struggled with it. There were (and to this day are) parts of it that severely pissed me off. "A Vile Hunger..." (1x5) is still the episode I like to rewatch the least, for example. It took me watching S1 twice to totally love the show. And it's because, when I saw S1, I was holding onto the source material while I watched.
This was fucking stupid on my part, especially given I took a class on adaptation while at Uni and got the academic tools to discern what makes for a good adaptation in film terms (I've talked about other adaptations with people who are book readers first and they tend to view it way differently). Hell, I wrote a thesis on why Clueless is a great adaptation of Jane Austen's Emma regardless of the change of setting in both time and place.
But IWTV was way too personal to me, it went back to my childhood, so it was hard to let go. I did instantly love a lot of the changes. I love the time change and the change to Louis' race and background. I love that we saw more of Louis pre-vampirism and that show Louis has more complex reasons for his long term struggles whereas book Louis just seemed so whiny to me for no reason. On the other hand, I struggled with: why is it a second interview, why was Claudia SA-ed, why the DV, why is fucking Antoinette a canker sore that never leaves, why the fuck is Armand in Dubai, what the fuck is happening with this timeline? I couldn't let go and my viewing experience suffered for it.
When I sat down to watch a second time, I said, "Ok, do what you were taught and let the source go. Adaptations cannot be 1:1 due to the change in medium". And that's when things started clicking. I stopped viewing S1, and the show as a whole, as needing to use the books as a plot bible and viewed it as using them as a guidebook to function on TV terms and tell its own version of the story. It allowed me to appreciate the things I loved much more and to understand the ones I hadn't been so sure about and, even, love some of those things.
For S2, I went into it with that mentality already so I solely judged it on film/TV terms even though, having read books 1-4 and 6 and reading about the rest, I saw subtle things people with no knowledge of the source canon did not. Like when YT reactors consistently worried about Daniel being killed and I'm just filing my nails because, to those in the know, Daniel has massive plot armour. Or people being confused about Raglan James and I'm sat there like wtf does this trifling ass want? Nevertheless, I enjoyed the tale as it was told and what it was on solely TV terms.
Both season are great television but, to me, S2 just took it up a notch. Daniel Hart popped off extra hard. Carol Cutshall popped off extra hard in costuming (stg she played faves because why did Armand get more fashion slays than anyone else? ^_^). The sets went extra hard. The acting, which was already superb in S1 because this is a fucking excellent cast (Jacob, Sam, Eric, Bailey, and Delainey 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼), went harder as well because we have more players such as Ben Daniels doing the absolute MOST with Santiago, Roxane Duran being absolutely OUTSTANDING as the formidable Madeleine, and Assad Zaman stepping out from the background and giving a STUNNING performance as, to me, what's clearly the definitive Armand. To my taste, S2 is a lot less slow and I felt the pot boiling tension to the explosive ending build more keenly than in S1. And, again to my taste, the ending of S2 felt more satisfying because we have a sense of completion in Louis' journey rather than a, admittedly dope, cliffhanger. S2 has, arguably, the 3 best episodes of the show so far in "Don't Be Afraid..." (2x5) "I Could Not Prevent It" (2x7), and "And That's The End of It..." (2x8). For me, there's just no contest.
And yeah S2 isn't perfect either. The abrupt episode endings, for example, are a bit annoying---especially the end of 2x4. Yes, there's bits I would've changed a bit. (Though I will say, some book readers apparently wanted the show to include book Armand's Franken-experiments and I could very much do without it ever being included because it serves no narrative purpose other than to prolong Claudia's suffering. The show already goes hard to show Armand is a fucking asshole in other ways and it's gonna add to that in S3. We don't need that detail.) But, as a season of television, it just went the extra mile.
Still, I love that some people prefer S1. I love that they prefer S1 because it's more intimate or because it's more of a family season or because of the good Louis and Lestat moments or the good vampire family moments. Or maybe they love it for other reasons, it's all very personal.
I still think "In Throes of Increasing Wonder" is an outstanding pilot and it's one of my favourite episodes. Louis' confessional scene/the church scene is definitely one of the top moments of the show. Claudia's monologue at the end of "The Ruthless Pursuit of Blood..." still gives me goosebumps. Claudia stomping on Antoinette's fucking face and Daniel reading Louis to absolute FILTH at the end of "The Thing Lay Still" both make me clap and stomp like I'm at a concert or a sporting event.
Either way, S1 or S2, it's great TV and it deserves more love and recognition. I hope it gets it because it's truly deserving. Maybe we just need to hear our Brat Prince have his say for the uninitiated to awaken to it. S3 I have been seated since they made the call to release that teaser.
