"Like snowflakes, my Christmas memories gather and dance. Each beautiful, unique, and gone too soon." ~
We understand that for many, the holiday season may present a particular type of grief. An empty chair at the table, the lack of laughter, the echoes of ooos and ahhs, the brightness in eyes that we cling to so dearly. The moments that we didn't know we would miss as much as we do now. The parts of people that we wish we had paid more attention to.
The Columbine families have now had more holidays without their loved ones, then they ever had with them. Hanukkah's, Christmas', Birthday's, Thanksgiving's, the days that are supposed to bring us together. And how can we ever truly feel together-ness, when we may never again feel whole without them.
"A place where people can come to pay their respects. Where students can have some peace. Where parents can feel closer..."~ 'I Walk With Each of You', Act 2 Epilogue Scene
Last year, the Columbine Memorial Foundation was thousands of dollars short within their yearly funds to upkeep the maintenance and cleanliness of the space. Please consider donating this holiday season to maintain the one-of-a-kind Memorial and to help keep the legacy of Columbine alive forever. For these families, the Columbine Memorial very well could be the closest memory of touch that they may have of their loved ones.
We ask that you please keep the families of Rachel, Danny, Dave, Kyle, Steven, Cassie, Isaiah, Matthew, Lauren, John, Kelly, Daniel, and Corey, in your thoughts and prayers this holiday season. We wish you all a peaceful and safe December and a Happy New Year. May their memories be a blessing.
It's very telling of someone when you fully condemn the Columbine shooters, and they respond to you with: "You've obviously never been bullied."
If you think that someone hasn't been bullied because they don't support mass murder (or murder at all) as a response to bullying, then you are a fucking lunatic who needs to be locked up.
On top of that, bullying was not the reason for their actions. Maybe it was one of their reasons, but we know by now that it wasn't the only thing motivating them; that was just their little self-pitying excuse. Many of the kids at Columbine were bullied, so why were these 2 different? Because they were simply violent, and they wanted infamy.
And we know by now that they were bullies, too. DK literally bullied a disabled boy horribly in 1998, and then threatened his life if he told. (But the boy did bravely tell his mother, who then told the school.) They were also extremely racist. They hurled racial slurs at Isaiah Shoels while they murdered him. They mocked and teased their victims. They mocked the victims' bodies. EH teased Daniel Mauser about his glasses before he murdered him. They were both bullies, and they were the ultimate bullies that day.
Remember that they did not "snap" a day or 2 earlier (still wouldn't be excusable). They planned the massacre for a whole year. They had plenty of time to decide not to do it, but they still did it because they wanted to murder a school full of people. They wanted to be famous, and that is exactly what our stupid selves have given them. For 25 years.
The Columbine shooters were not Carrie White snapping at the prom. They were premeditated, calculated murderers. Don't try to paint them as anything else.
not a day has passed where I don't think about pictures of tom mauser holding up the i love you ASL sign—with a sign of daniel in the background, as he gave a speech about the NRA.

May you all rest in peace, and be reunited with your friends and families in heaven 🤍
Today marks the 25th anniversary of the Columbine School Shooting. Since that fateful day, lives of students, teachers, and parents alike changed all across America. Students had to learn to hide and play dead, just incase. Teachers had learn hide students fast and keep them quiet, while having to keep themselves safe aswell. Parents fearing that their children won't come home, and that they will never be able to pack them a lunch again or hold them. In my lifetime, there have been 300+ school shootings since, and there hasn't been any changes made. Unless you count buying a bulletproof bag, instead a colorful one. How many kids have to die before change happens? Changes should've happen when, Cassie Bernall, 17; Steven Curnow, 14; Corey DePooter, 17; Kelly Fleming, 16; Matthew Kechter, 16; Daniel Mauser, 15; Daniel Rohrbough, 15; William "Dave" Sanders, 47; Rachel Scott, 17; Isaiah Shoels, 18; John Tomlin, 16; Lauren Townsend, 18, and Kyle Velasquez, 16, all lost their lives on April 20th, 1999. Thoughts and prayers are getting us nowhere. It's time to stand up and demand change

Medical waste disposal in specific containers is a critical step in maintaining the hygiene and safety standards in hospitals, clinics, and diagnostic laboratories. It ensures that general, infectious, and hazardous hospital remains would not be exposed to the patients as they are transported and managed in a proper systematic way. The recent outbreak of COVID-19 has tremendously increased the volume of hospital remains across the globe.
As per the journal published by the National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) in 2020, as per the guidelines issued by the CDC, domestic and hospital remains from observation wards, fever clinics, special examination rooms, laboratories, and isolation wards, especially the nucleic acid testing laboratories, should be marked as COVID-19 related medical remains, and separate containers printed with “COVID-19 infection” should be affixed. In addition, remains from protective facial masks carrying pathogens has also increased to a great extent. Thus, containers with distinct marks were placed in the public areas of the hospital to collect those abandoned masks. Furthermore, an increase in awareness regarding hospital safety standards and increased investments by hospitals in maintaining their cleanliness is also anticipated to propel market growth over the forecast period.
