"You love Korean soju," Bastian points out. "The peach one."

"Okay, yes. If I have to choose, I'll choose soju, but I'll drink beer, chuhai, sake, whisky, or whatever!"

"I've become really fond of atsukan, hot Japanese sake, since I moved here. For one, it's tasty, but I also find it weirdly comforting for my throat to be warmed up while I'm getting drunk."

"How much time you got?" *plays with squishy bracelet, pokes labret piercing with tongue, chews nails and insides of cheeks, taps fingers against table, hums, blinks at random times, talks to self -*

"Yumi always tells me to stop twirling my hair. I don't usually notice that I'm doing it, but... maybe I do it often."

"I think it's really sweet," Bastian interjects. "It's also sweet how you always pat your stomach when you ask me what's for dinner."

Mitsuko blushes and hides her face in his chest.

Bastian

"I have a restless habit of bouncing my leg if I have to sit still for too long. Luckily, in my job, that doesn't happen very often!"

"And," Mitsuko adds, "you take off your socks when we watch TV."

"What? When?"

"What do you mean, when? You always do it!"

(This one has an outline AND a title! I really like the title but it sounds BANANAS out of context)

🤔What's a story you'd love to write but haven't even started yet?

Haha. Hahahahahaha. HAHAHAHAHAHA. (So many) I have two in particular that are Dani focused because I LOVE Dani but I also really want to dissect him and dig through his insides. These two are very much ~vibes~ stage but I very badly want to get them to at least outline stage by the end of the month (I am a slow writer). Dani is not having a fun time in either of these, in one I've torn his ACL and in the other I've given him seasonal affective disorder (Sorry Dani, you don't get to say you like to give away joy for free and not expect CONSEQUENCES)

🛠Is there a scene or anything in the WIP you are struggling with right now?

ABSOLUTELY.

One of the WIPs I was working on in the background while finishing up 'i learned to walk while he was away' is a 5+1 style multi-chapter about Sam and Jamie. Working title is '6 conversations they might have had and one they definitely didn't' - it's canon-compliant until the final chapter essentially. My STRUGGLE is that:

1. I cannot write in chronological order AT ALL (meaning I have NO IDEA when this will see the light of day whoops)

2. Because it's canon compliant I need Jamie to be mean to Sam for a bit.

AND, I don't want to be mean to Sam! I don't want Jamie to be mean to Sam! So! I am absolutely dragging my concrete-encased feet through those bits 🫠

(I also already had Jamie be mean to Robbie in the only dang thing I've published and I still feel vaguely guilty about that lol)

🍓- How did you get into writing fanfiction?

I've written fanfiction since my teens, but considering that was back in the dark days before ff.net and AO3, I just wrote them for myself in notebooks and on my computer. It was only when I wrote Scorched Earth back in 2018 that I thought 'I wonder if anybody else would enjoy this' and took the plunge of posting it on AO3. The fanfic bug bit soon after, and it only got worse once I got onto Tumblr.

🌵- Share the link to a playlist you love?

I only have one playlist. It's my own personal one called 'inspiration' and it's full of songs that that inspire ideas or that represent a certain fic/au. I'm not going to link it but here are five random songs from it if anybody really wants to know.

🥑- you accidentally killed somebody, which mutual(s) do you text for help?

I'd probably just get Erase and Dani over - they won't hold it against me, I'm sure. We'd just stare at the body then discuss what happened on the latest episode of Raw and the finer details of CodyPunk. Nothing would actually get done about the body but I'd feel a lot less stressed about it...

🍄- share a head canon for one of your favourite ships or pairings?

Well of course, it's a Punkintyre one. I reckon that Drew is very vanilla kink-wise and Punk is trying to broaden his horizons with their feud - a 'hey, you wanna date the freak, you have to get a little freaky' kinda thing. So Punk suggested the threesome with Seth Rollins - hard pass from Drew! Drew suggests whipping (he's done it before) - they're making some good progress. Bit of role-play, bit of blood-play and now we'll see what they try out at Bad Blood. I'm keeping everything crossed for some bondage; since Punk's return to wrestling there has been a distinct lack of handcuffs and I am not pleased by this!

🪐- name three good things going on in your life right now?

Awww, this is a cute one! I'm happy with how my family life is at the moment, I'm being more pro-active and trying to keep organised and it's really helped my mental health as I don't have as much mental load as before and I've landed a main role in the local Panto this year. I'm playing the sea witch in the 'Little Mermaid' and I get to sing and dance and really heel it up. There's so many similarities between pro-wrestling and pantomime that they must share a common origin somewhere, I could write an essay on it!

I see Puig as a guy that will keep drilling on Dani's head that Jorge is a bad influence and stay out of his way. So in 2012 had too spend so much time together (media, podium, press conference, etc) and made him saw Puig was wrong. At the end on 2012 Dani fires Puig and in 2013 he gives himself the chance to really get to know Jorge

Could either be searching for the dates of 2 tours on Japan, with all the media in Japanese and I don't talk, or trying to understand how the Japanese basketball league works (because apparently they have 2 and both are the top ones).
