They can't ask ellie herself, but luckily, it looks like Ellie's donor is still very much alive... the problem is that the DNA keeps coming back as two different people whose individual samples keep coming back as the other. The samples in question are that of one Daniel James Fenton and Jason Peter Todd... JASON IS DEAD. Everyone knows that he's been dead at least five years now, Hell Ellies, the same age Jason was when he died. There is no way she can be his clone. Something isn't adding up. Fortunately, it isn't going to be too hard to figure this out as Jason is buried in the Wayne family cemetery, and it should be easy to confirm that he is dead. While that's happening the members of young justice are on there way to Amity Park to find this Daniel fenton and figure out what's going on. Hopefully before it's too late.

Ellie is a Clone Misunderstanding

So, I' sure most of us have seen a story/prompt or two about Ellie being on the Teen Titans or Young Justice right? Here's my question, does she tell them about her being a Clone, or does she just omit that from her resume?

Imagine a scenario where Ellie is on a mission with her team (Let's say YJ for this). They are nearly done, when she gets hit by some type of Ecto-Weapon in the middle of the fight?

She is hurt, but shrugs it off and continues the battle. In the end, the team manages to come out on Top, and they return to Base.

The others are fretting over Ellie, asking how she is doing and if she needs ant help. She's never once been hit while in Battle, her Phasing Powers are stronger than even Miss Martian, so they are understandably concerned for her health.

She tells them that she's fine, and goes off to her room to rest, telling them to drop it.

Later that night, one of her teammates goes to her room to fetch her for Dinner. They knock on the door, but she doesn't respond. After a while, they decide to just open the door and find Ellie collapsed on the floor. She never made it to her bed.

They rush her to the Medical Station, and call in the League.

While there, they try to figure out what happened, but nothing comes up with the Weapon that hit her. (They took it after the battle for study)

Eventually, they get the results back from the Doctors. Her cells are dying at an alarming rate. Her energy levels are Unstable. Her DNA is deteriorating. She's Destabilizing.

She's a Clone.

All the evidence is there. Her DNA is deteriorating because she wasn't made complete, and her Cells can't keep up with the damage anymore because of that.

If this Ellie is a Clone, what happened to the Real Ellie? When was she kidnapped? How did they not notice their friend being replaced by a Clone?!

They need answers, and unfortunately Ellie isn't waking up any time soon.

In which Dani walk in on something and Vlad gets a verbal smackdown.

Jason hummed as Danny cuddled closer to the steady thrum of the man's core. He’d been purring for the past thirty minutes as they watched the movie playing on his laptop., piled on Danny’s bed with their feet tangled together, and Danny didn’t even know if Jason knew he was doing it. They hadn’t yet broached the topic. Afterall, asking someone about their death was usually a one way ticket to getting in a knockdown dragout fight. And not the endearing kind that some ghosts used to show affection. It didn’t after though. Danny purred back.

“Hey Danny?”

“Yeah?”

“Are we dating?”

Danny paused the movie and turned to look up at Jason. He had his thinking face on. The one where his eyebrows furrowed and his lips pressed together in a tight line. It was adorable.

“I don’t see why not,” Danny replied, “Why?”

“I dunno, I just- We’ve been on a couple dates and I didn’t know if we were still trying things out or- this feels very couple-y though.” he said.

“Is that a good thing?”

Jason paused for a second, “yeah,” he said, “yeah it is.” Danny smiled and leaned up to kiss him.

“Good.” It wasn’t the first time, and it was short, but it made Jason smile.

“That was good too.”

“Oh yeah?” they asked, shifting to face their boyfriend and kissing him again, “How was that?” Jason didn’t answer, only hummed as he pulled Danny in for another kiss. Then another. Then another.

The laptop fell off the bed with a small thump, their movie long forgotten as the two made out like lovedrunk teenagers. At some point Danny ended up on their back with Jason’s tongue somewhere down their throat and his knees on either side of their hips. His hand had just begun creeping up their shirt when the door opened.

“Oooooohhhh.” The two bolted apart, Jason somehow managing to hit the back of his head on a shelf.

“Tristan I swear to the Ancients-” Danny started, but it wasn’t his roommate standing in the doorway. “Dani?” they asked.

“Dad?’’ she responded.

Jason’s eyes blew wide, ‘Dad?’ he mouthed. Shit. This was not something Danny wanted to explain so early in their relationship. They shot a look towards their boyfriend in a way that said ‘I’ll explain later’ before turning to their clone.

“Dani, what are you doing here?”

Dani rubbed the back of her neck, suddenly looking uncomfortable “Uuh, is this a bad time?” she asked, gesturing to Jason, “Should I go, or-?”

Danny looked between the two again before sighing. “No, it’s fine. Come in,” He said, gesturing her in as he did a quick tidy up of his bed, retrieving the laptop from the ground and setting it safely on the nightstand. “What brings you here, Dani? Not that I’m not glad to see you or anything but-” they gestured loosely.

Dani didn’t seem bothered. “Hm? Oh, Vlad kicked me out. Is that popcorn?” she asked, not waiting for an answer before picking up the bowl and taking its place at the foot of the bed. She held one hand out to Jason as the other shoveled popcorn into her mouth.

“I’m Danny’s daughter Dani,” she said, not bothering to chew or swallow first. “It’s spelt with an ‘i’ incase you get confused. You can also call me Ellie or just Elle if that’s easier for you. Not Danielle though, that’s what Vlad calls me but I think it’s too stuffy.”

Jason shot Danny a quizzical glance before taking Dani’s hand.

“I’m Jason, Danny’s boyfriend,” he said, seemingly having recovered from his shock. “He didn’t tell me he had a kid, but it’s nice to meet you.”

Dani’s head swiveled to send an accusatory glare at her original and she let out a mock gasp.

“Father how could you?” She said, looking entirely offended. Danny felt the heat rise in their cheeks.

“Dani, I’m twenty,” they started, “Forgive me if having a kid isn’t the first thing I advertise to a potential partner.”

Dani huffed, “Yeah, yeah, go on and make sense. You're not the only one,” she mumbled, rolling her eyes and leaning back as she shoved another fistfull of popcorn in her mouth. “Hey do you have any of that ecto-cheese powder I sent you? It tastes great on this stuff.” His clone was smirking sure, but she was his clone and Danny didn’t miss the way she was curled in on herself and clearly deflecting, because that’s how he acted when something was bothering him.

“What does that mean?” he asked, taking a more serious tone.

Dani only smiled at him, confused, “What do you mean? Dairy King helped me make it and it makes literally everything taste better. Do you still have it?” Danny shook his head. That wasn’t what he meant and she knew it. Then what she had said earlier registered and it wasn’t hard to connect the dots.

“Dani, why did Vlad kick you out?” His clone snorted, her eyes darting around the room, refusing to meet his eyes, before finally landing in her lap. It was silent for a moment before she took a deep breath.

“Vlad’s trying to get over Maddie,” she started before adding, “Vlad’s my other Dad,” for Jason’s benefit. “And apparently, there’s not enough room in his giant manor for all his guests plus me so he kicked me out. Told me to come bother you for a change.” Danny was seeing green. He didn’t even realize how tight he’d been clenching his fists until Jason reached out and gently removed his grip from the hem of his shirt.

“It’s okay though,” Dani hurried out, shaking off the thin layer of frost that had begun spreading around the room, “I didn’t want to stay in that stuffy place anyway. And I’ve been meaning to visit you. I’ve never been to Gotham and I was hoping we could do stuff together. Y’know? Like Father/Daughter bonding time.”

Danny took a deep breath as he attempted to reign in the cold. The chilly air calmed his nerves but he didn’t want Jason to freeze. He could already hear his teeth chattering.

“That sounds great kid,” he said before turning to his boyfriend, “You wouldn’t mind if I excused myself to make a quick call would you? I promise I’ll explain everything later.”

Jason looked between Danny and his daughter before shaking his head. Danny smiled and gave his hand a gentle squeeze. “Thanks, and I’m sorry about movie night getting ruined,” he smirked.

Jason shrugged, “Eh, I'm sure we’ll be able to pick up where we left off.”

“Ew, guys, I’m still right here,” Dani groaned, making Danny laugh as he got up.

“Get used to it, sport,” he said, grabbing his phone and ruffling her hair on his way to the door.

“Don’t call me sport,” Dani grumbled, wrinkling her nose as Danny closed the door.

Danny sighed into the silence of the hallway. It was midday so most students would either be in class or roaming around outside enjoying the nice weather. He appreciated the solitude as he dialed Vlad’s house number.

He groaned, already hearing Dani begin to question Jason, through the door. That was not something he wanted to deal with.

“Is that a proper way to greet someone?” Vlad’s voice rang through the receiver. Danny ground his teeth, he’d forgotten how annoying this man’s voice was.

“Shut up Vlad. That wasn’t directed at you.”

“Oh, feisty today aren’t we Daniel? Tell me, to what do I owe the pleasure?” his voice was sickeningly sweet, if he hadn’t been so full of rage, Danny would have hurled.

“Oh fuck off Vlad, you know exactly why I’m calling.” He snapped, Vlad didn’t sound phased.

“Language, Daniel,” he chided, “and I am afraid I haven’t the faintest clue. Please, enlighten me.” Danny wanted to punch a wall. He took a deep -shaky- breath instead.

“Dani just showed up at my dorm. She said you kicked her out, would you like to explain why?”

There was a short pause as the fruitloop thought over how he would spin the story.

“I didn’t kick her out,” ah, so he settled on a blatant lie, “I am merely busy this month and sent her to stay with her other parent, as Danielle is so keen on calling you. Really Daniel, it’s about time you paid your child support.”

Deep breath. Deep breath. Take a deep breath Danny. Okay fuck that.

“Okay fruitloop, may I remind you of a few things real quick,” Danny didn’t wait for an answer as he barrelled forward. “Point one: You cloned me without consent. I don’t owe you any fucking child support. Point two: Remember that deal we made? You feed, house, and clothe Dani, provide her with a good life with all that fucking money you have, and You get to parade me around as your heir and godson and all that shit, with the added bonus of: I don’t punch your fucking face in and eat your core. Do you understand? Or did you forget?” Danny was seething by the time he finished. The final question was meant to be rhetorical but Vlad answered anyway.

“I did not forget our deal, Daniel,” he drawled, sounding satisfyingly taken aback, “However, I must insist that Danielle stay in Gotham with you for the time being.”

“And how exactly do you expect me to take care of her? I love the kid but I can’t exactly keep a twelve year old in my shared dorm room.”

“Understood. Would an apartment work better?” That stunned Danny for a second. The chill surrounding him melted away as he tried wrapping his head around what he thought Vlad was suggesting.

“What?” he hissed.

“Oh please Daniel, don’t be so dramatic. If it would help satisfy our agreement, then I could easily secure housing for you and Danielle. I will send you the details soon. Now if that’s settled then I really must be going. Tata little badger.” The younger half ghost was left gaping as the receiver clicked, indicating the old man had hung up.

Okay what the fuck? Was Vlad planning something? He had to be planning something. Danny deflated against the wall as he let the implications of their conversation sink in. Yeah. Yeah, Plasmius was definitely planning something. And knowing him, it probably wasn’t going to be good.

Danny was jolted from his thoughts as the door next to him opened, Jason peeking his head out before walking through.

“Hey,” he said, taking Danny’s hands as he pressed into the half ghost’s space.

“Hey,” Danny replied, resting their intertwined hands on his boyfriend’s waist. Jason gave him a quick kiss before leaning back.

“Look I promise this doesn’t have anything to do with what’s happening right now, but I have to go.” A million worries passed through Danny’s head as he stared into Jason’s gorgeous ocean eyes. But all possibilities of hurt were washed away as Jason stared back. Danny smiled and nodded. Jason smiled in return.

“I’ll see you soon,” he promised as he pulled away and took off down the hall. Danny really hoped that would be true.

He took a few more seconds to breathe before heading back in.

“So what’d you say to spook him?” Danny jokingly asked upon returning to find Dani rifling through his snack drawer. “Y’know, other than calling me ‘dad’,” The gremlin stopped her rummaging for a second to stare up at him and shrug.

“Hey, it’s technically true and it’s funny,” she said, stuffing a bag of chocolate into her hoodie pocket and sitting back to tear into a bag of chex mix.

Danny raised an eyebrow and flopped down next to her on the floor. “Maybe for you,” he whined, reaching for a handful of the snack, “You’re not the one who’s a teenage parent.”

“Sucks to suck,” the annoyance replied, jerking the bag away from his outstretched hand. “And for your information,” she started, pointing a pretzel at him for emphasis, “I didn’t say anything. I was merely asking the man what his intentions with my genetic template were- which i guess were obvious based on what I just walked in on,” she shivered at the thought, ‘’Then he got a text or something and left,” She shrugged and threw the pretzel in her mouth before dumping the rest of the bag after it.

Dani looked thoughtfully into the empty bag before crumpling it up and throwing it at the waste bin across the room. It hit the wall next to the bin and bounced to the floor. They both stared at it laying there before Dani begrudgingly got up to throw it away properly.

Danny let the back of his head hit the floor as he closed his eyes. It was comforting that Jason’s departure hadn’t been about Dani showing up, however it was still worrying. The last- and only other time- Jason had left in such a hurry Danny hadn't heard from him for days. The man insisted he was fine and it was just a work thing but still…

“So what’s his deal anyway?” Dani asked, settling back down with a fresh bag of popcorn and a small green container. Danny looked at her, confused, as she dumped the green powder into the popcorn bag and shook it. Evidently she caught his questioning stare because she actually held out the bag for him. “It’s that ecto-cheese powder I was talking about. Dunno why it was under your bed, but it tastes fine to me.” Danny tentatively took a handful of the bright green popcorn. It wasn’t the color that was concerning, but moreso the ‘cheese’ part, like who the fuck puts cheese on popcorn? Visionaries apparently. He tried going back for another handful but Dani kicked him. The little brat (/affectionate).

“So?” Dani prompted as he nursed his wound.

“So what?” Danny asked, looking back at her as he reached for a snack of his own.

Dani rolled her eyes. “Jason,” she said plainly, “What’s his deal? Like I can tell he’s at least kinda dead, but like-’ she paused to gesture loosely at the air, “-is he like us or-?”

“Oh, I don’t know. Didn’t ask,” he shrugged. Dani raised an eyebrow. “Look, we just- haven’t had that conversation yet. We only just decided on being a legit couple like ten minutes before you showed up. Cut me some slack.”

His clone sighed and threw an unpopped kernel at him. “Fine, but that’s important stuff. And I wanna know the tea, so don’t even think about not telling me.”

Danny laughed and knocked his head against hers. “Sure thing kid. Hey, did I tell you that Vlad offered to get us an apartment?” Dani’s eyes widened. She opened her mouth to say something but was cut off by a gasp. Danny watched his own wisp of blue frozen air dissipate as they locked eyes.

“You wanna go see who’s ass we gotta kick?” He asked, mirroring Dani’s grin.

“Fuck yeah! But you’re telling me all about that phone call later.”

“Bet.”

Reborn as Dan Phantom.

A fan of the show is reborn as Dan, the evil version of Danny just as he was created— but what no one knew was a fangirl had taken over the body and knew just what to do to help her family that would suffer what she just went through unless she did something to help. So— she creeped towards Clockwork, stole the time medallion, went to the timeline of the original, and immediately took over as big brother figure to help these poor children from suffering the future they would have to endure alone without adult supervision.

She— now he— didn’t care for gender, and just wanted to help and protect his new(ish) family from bad people. What he didn’t know was he was also thrown alongside the dc universe, which was an awesome discovery on his part later on.

Dan— or Dante— as he wished to be called, came to the group with sorrow in his heart as he explained what would happen in the future if Danny cheated on his test, not that it was anyone’s fault but fates. He explained how no one was at fault and it could all be avoided if he could help it.

He took over the ghost fights, and had a long talk with Clockwork about what would happen and his real purpose for being there.

His original timeline was obviously erased, and the only reason he survived was because of the medallion, so later he had to go through ghost magic and make himself his own person, gained a whole butt load of tattoos intertwined with ghost time magic and becomes the next king of the infinite realms after defeating the old guy easily after seeing him beat up his little bro.

Dante became king instead of Danny and took over all the overloaded paperwork along the way.

What he didn’t know, was that he would be summoned because of his status. He really thought the fan fictions were just exaggerating what would happen if he was ever given the position and power. Well, it was all true from what he read.

(I’m making this a Dante/King Phantom x Jason Todd/Red Hood).

He made an actual legal identity for himself with the help of Technus and Tucker, who became better pals after they set aside the fact that they attacked each other at some point or another.

Danny became a little brother to him, Jazz became his little sister who likes to treat him as if he were still Danny at times, and Danielle became his daughter.

Dante legally adopted Dani after they got his papers in order, and made her an identity as well. Elle was much younger than he remembered, but then again, she was deaged recently and just came back into contact with the group, who couldn’t take care of her because they were still children as well.

Vlad was still a little evil but leveled out after a huge diabolical involving Maddie, their so called mother.

Madeline Fenton had thought her son and daughter conspired with the ghosts and attacked them in their own home, Danny was greatly injured with multiple blast wounds and Jazz suffered a concussion while trying to push him out of the target zones.

Jack had football tackled Madeline and the rest was history.

Vlad had fallen out of love with her after seeing what she did to her own children, and instead got his head out of his butt and realized he was in love with Jack all along.

Jack divorced Madeline, took custody of his kids and decided they should move, all while Vlad made plans to take down GIW with Team Phantom.

Jack and Vlad met him and decided to emotionally adopt Dante as well in their messed up family.

Dante got a job as a mechanic and started his own business in Gotham. Very cliche from all the fanfics he read in his past life but he wanted to do something he knew and loved. He loved fixing things and his side job as the king of the infinite realms was basically being like a father to ghost children while scolding those who thought it was a good idea to attack innocent mortals.

He mainly spent his time raising Danielle. Giving her everything she deserves and making her happy now that his family was safe.

He was randomly summoned by the Justice League who were ready to full on attack him until they saw him reading to his child, not realizing he was summoned until someone cleared their throat. He was literally in his own little bubble, reading his two year old daughter a storybook while holding her against his chest as he floated above the ground, laid back in a relaxed position.

How it would go:

I looked up from the book after feeling a sudden shift in my surroundings, seeing multiple very brightly dressed people in front of me. I glared, shifting completely into my ghost king form while holding my daughter close to my chest. The storybook I was reading had disappeared into a pocket dimension for later, as I had to deal with this madness.

“Who in their right minds would summon the Ghost King? I literally burnt all those summoning books to ash.” I grumbled, and looked down to see Elle had slightly woken up at the sound of my deep voice.

“Dada?” She mumbled, rubbing her right eye as she sat up from my chest.

“It’s alright, Elle,” I rumbled, kissing her forehead as she plopped back down to take her nap again at my reassurance. “We can finish reading time later today.” I murmured to her as she went back to snoozing.

“What do you want, mortals?” I asked nonchalantly.

“Why does the ghost king have a child? And how in the hell are you not attacking us as the books state?” Zatanna asked, looking on at me in shock.

“You willingly want to be attacked after summoning me? That’s idiotic. “ I state, looking bored with their conversation. I still held Elle close, not answering their questions about my child just yet.

“No, a bloody idiot summoned you just as we defeated him as a last defense!” Constantine spat out, looking hysterical.

“Well, sorry to break the news, coward, but the last king was defeated by me after trying to take over the world, he is now locked away in forever sleep until we can find a way to get rid of him completely.” I explained to the coward looking at me in shock on the ground, bruises across his face and the usual weird looking villain costume on him.

I looked around for a quick second before stopping at the Batfam. Who were all here in a more relaxed formation seeing a child in my arms. My favorite fandom family in my last life.

I looked them over before spotting the Red Hood, my celebrity crush I had on him was no secret to my family, but they had no room to judge for themselves.

His aura admitted contaminated ectoplasm, and I knew I had to heal him sometime in the future.

“May I ask what your goals are? And who is this child?” Superman spoke up after a moment of digesting my information about my new position.

“I protect both living and the undead. I don’t have a world ending goal in mind, just to raise my daughter and give her the life she deserves.” I said, looking down at my daughter with a small smile that would be unnoticeable to most.

I looked back up to see the large group had softened at my words and I was about to ask a question about Red Hood, when my daughter suddenly decided this was taking too long and too much noise for her to take a nap.

“Dada! Where puppy?” She demanded answers, smacking the side of my face with her chubby hands, as I floated there, unmoving with an emotionless face towards the group.

“Cujo is with the twerp, remember? He will come by later for playtime.” I answered, which was slightly muffled as she squished my cheeks together and smiled at me happily.

“Dada! Fishh—“ she squealed out, looking happy with herself as she giggled at my face.

“You gremlin—“ I muttered out, tickling her sides as she squeaked, her flying out of my arms and turning into her young ghost form, looking ready to play.

“Playtime?” She asked, bouncing a little in the air, clapping her hands a little.

“Not yet, blob ghost. We need to head back home for snack time.” I explained, crossing my arms as she pouted, my arm muscles bulged a bit as I crossed them, and I still always forget the fact that I’m taller than most, alongside bigger. In my past life, I was a stick of a girl that had spaghetti arms, much different for sure.

Her pouting turned into the famous puppy eyes, and I turned back to the group to avoid them, only to see amused faces all around.

“Do you guys need anything before we head back? I’m sure you don’t want to deal with a Princess tantrum.” I rumbled out, looking on in disinterest as Elle decided to hug the side of my face like an octopus. She probably still had the puppy eyes on.

“You have an adorable daughter!” Princess Diana exclaimed soon after I was finished speaking. “How old is she?” She asked, looking at me curiously as I lowered myself to the ground, Elle now floating behind my head as she played with my low ponytail.

“She is now two years old.” I answered, swiftly nabbing Elle from behind me while reaching the back of my head. I lowered my arms to see I had her upside down now, her hanging like a sack of potatoes as she giggled.

“Dada!” Elle exclaimed, waving her arms around her in glee as she looked up at me.

“You don’t feel like a ghost completely… neither does she, what are you exactly?” Constantine asked, waving his hand at me in confusion.

“I don’t know if I can trust you with that information, Constantine.” I growled a little, glaring at him as he stepped forward while Elle hid behind me.

“Hey now! Let’s calm down, no one needs to start anything!” Nightwing stepped in front of the glaring Constantine who looked more and more like a bug the longer I looked at him.

“There isn’t anything to start, really. His soul is in shreds at the moment, not very powerful compared to my kind anyway.” I stated, crossing my arms once again as Elle peaked out from over my shoulder.

“Now, I need to speak with a Mr. Red Hood.” I said, looking on at the Batfam who tensed at my words.

“Why?” Batman growled out, stepping in front of the confused Red Hood.

“To heal him, of course.” I sighed, pinching the bridge of my nose as I heard sounds of confusion from everyone else.

“His ectoplasm is very corrupted. He has the ghost flu, in which case makes my kind very moody and in need of pure ectoplasm to filter it and his emotions.” I briefly explained, unpinching my nose as I looked up from the ground. Willing my headache away for now.

“So his pit madness is basically the ghost flu?” Red Robin murmurs out hysterically, almost giggling in disbelief.

“Yes, I have heard of his haunt, Crime Alley, that being under his protection, I have never stepped foot on his property because I didn’t want to seem like a threat to a sick person who can’t control themselves completely with such a sickness.” I explained myself a bit nervously, rubbing the back of my neck a little with my right hand as Elle now sat on my left shoulder, swinging her legs.

“Wow, the ghost king is a dork…” I heard Spoiler mutter to Orphan, who nodded in agreement.

I huffed, crossing my arms and floated once again. “I can come back another time. I just wished to help a little. My doctor can probably fix him quicker than I, but I know what to do as I have studied under him for more than over a year now.” I informed them.

“So the pit madness can go away…?” Red Hood asked, stepping from around Batman to speak to me clearly.

“I’m unsure of what this “Pit Madness” is, but yes, I can heal you and make sure you properly get the help you need from your emotional roller coaster sickness.” I said, looking down at him as he took a few more steps to me, his family following behind him.

“Well, when can you fix me?” He asked, his voice modifier cutting all emotions from his voice, but I can clearly feel his emotions bursting from his almost formed core. It seems this sickness had stopped him from forming his core completely and left him sick for many years.

I could feel his hope, his rage and especially his bursts of want for some reason.

“I can fix you right now, but I wasn’t sure if you wanted privacy or not. It’s very…. Intimate. I can take you somewhere private if you would like?” I rumbled out, the burst of want came out more clearly, and I could tell Red Hood was clearly not expecting that word choice.

“Take me anytime—“ I could clearly hear his muttered out answer behind his helmet with my enhanced hearing, but I don’t know if I was supposed to hear that.

“Nope! Little Wing— you are not going with the ghost king—“ Nightwing suddenly yelled out, the whites of his mask bigger as Spoiler, Red Robin, and Signal burst into loud laughter. Batman sighed loudly in disappointment. Robin just “Tt” and sighed alongside his father, looking like a mini bat. Orphan just smiled at me.

“By intimate, I mean having a look at your soul, I will essentially have to take a closer look at that and cure you.” I fixed my words, making it seem as if I didn’t hear anything and I could feel a little disappointment coming from Red Hood but he nodded at my explanation.

Hello here I come with another Batkids turn to witness the Jokers demise. This time it's Jason and you can read it as Dead-on-main or you can read it platonic but here it is.

Oh yeah tw:gore this might be the most graphic one yet.

Jason came to in a daze his mind slow to connect the dots on where he was. The moment it did was like a bucket of ice water thrown on him and he jerked up. Or he attempted to only to find his hands cuffed behind him and his legs and waist tied to a chair beside him was the two he was spending the day with when they were jumped.

The new single father that moved into his apartment complex Danny Fenton was his name and he and his precious little girl Dawn had moved into the apartment across the way a few months back and Jason found himself drawn into their orbit just like the celestial bodies the two loved.

Of course it was only a matter of time before some goons decided to grab them in a attempt to ransom money from B not that it would help them once his siblings got to wherever he was being held. They all adored the father daughter pair as well and treated them like they were already part of the family.

Whatever relief Jason felt at seeing the two relatively unharmed fled the moment he saw their kidnapper. The Joker pasty and deranged as ever. The clown prince of crime was seemingly setting up a camera however unlike ordinary criminals The Joker was no doubt using it for something besides a ransom, likely he was going to broadcast whatever sick plan he had.

Jason looked over Danny was whispering reassurances to Dawn who was silently crying with fear. Jason only caught a few snippets due to the surrounding noise, something about keeping her eyes closed which made sense with the things Joker got up to.

"Hello Gotham city did you miss your favorite clown prince of crime? I missed you."

The Joker speaking caught Jason off guard having been focused in the two.

"Not a real clown." Danny must have a death wish as he continued.

"I checked you know. You don't even have your makeup trademarked on an egg. Any old bastard can do themselves up to look like you and make money by being funnier than you. Not hard of course I've met funnier clowns in a graveyard."

The Joker was baffled at first though that swiftly turned to rage as he went over to Danny while pulling out a switchblade.

"Well I think someone never learned any manners did they? And I thought Midwesterners were supposed to be polite."

As he spoke the Joker had walked over and bent down to put the blade to Danny's face.

"Though maybe the lesson will stick more if I teach the little tyke as well." As soon as he said this the Joker straightened up however before he could so much as turn away Danny had swung his head in a brutal headbutt to the Jokers gut bending him back over with a grunt of pain then faster than Joker could react the enraged single father twisted his head and with a feral energy Danny bit down on Jokers throat and jerked his head away taking the Jokers jugular with him.

Scrambling desperately the Joker tried to staunch the bleeding unable to make any sound beyond gurgling and Jason frozen in awe saw the fear in the Jokers eyes as his purple suit stained red and slowly the light left those eyes. The figure of his nightmares, the bastard who took his life and the lives of thousands of others snuffed out not with a bang as he held the city hostage but with a whimper as he pushed a father too far.

Jason laughed, he laughed until he cried, the relief of the tension he hadn't even known he carried swept away with the closure that Joker was dead and it was the love of a father that caused it. Was he upset that it wasn't his own father pulling the metaphorical trigger kinda but he would never say that Danny should not have acted when he did.

As Jason's siblings finally found there way into the warehouse to free them he looked back at Danny, blood soaked his mouth, his teeth stained red and his shirt ruined. Jason had never seen a more beautiful sight. He was calling Harley as soon as he could they were throwing the biggest damn party and if he got his way there would be a new holiday in Gotham city. For the first time in years Jason knew he would sleep easy.

Ok I'm back with another dcxdp overprotective Danny fic/prompt. No specific ship for this one.

Though Barbara is there this time.

Barbara couldn't help but smile as she looked at all the little kids in the library doing arts and crafts. She loved seeing all the kids different art projects though if she had to be honest she had a favorite little artist.

"Ms Barbara look look! I drew the Signal he looked so cool on his motorcycle!"

Speak of the devil, the little girl proudly running up to show of her art was named Dawn Nightingale a precious four year old who had mistaken Barbara for her Auntie Jazz the first time they met. (Not that Barbara blamed her she had seen a picture of the girls Aunt and they looked almost identical.)

"That looks wonderful why don't you go pin it to the art wall by the door so everyone can see it?" Barbara said as she looked at the surprisingly well done drawing.

As the four year old ran to do so with a cheer Barbara took a quick look over at the girls father, Danny Nightingale was a single father who from what conversations Barbara had with him had his daughter thrust upon him as a teen and was forced to leave home because of prejudiced parents. Despite this he was a natural father and was doing well to care for her even going so far as to be enrolled in engineering courses at Gotham U even while working full time to support his kid.

The single father was helping some of the younger kids while ignoring the single mothers trying to flirt with him with either practiced grace, or density befitting a black hole.

Before she could go to scare off the more persistent women (for Christs sake some of these women were over a decade older than him) there was a sudden bang as the doors to the library burst open revealed the Joker in all his pasty faced glory.

"Well well what fun! A group art project! It's a good thing I was in the area because now you kiddos get to help with Uncle Jokers art. C'mere brat."

Barbara had hit the panic button on her wheelchair the moment the Joker came through the door but she is not too proud to admit that she froze the moment he reached out and grabbed Dawn who had still been near the door hanging up her picture.

She could see the fear on the child she considered an honorary niece and found it hard to listen to what the demented clown was saying. Not that it mattered as before the Joker finished demanding the library patrons do what he said or else he was suddenly stepping back from the heavy blow that an enraged Danny had dealt.

The Joker having let go of Dawn, who ran to Barbara as soon as she was free, could not even seem to muster a defense as Danny beat him right out the door. Every weapon or gag he tried to pull out was either knocked aside or grabbed and used on him. The last thing Barbara saw before the door swung shut was Danny taking the flag gun the Joker tried to pull out and breaking it on the Jokers face.

With her arms now full of crying toddler Barbara did her best to comfort her and just as soon as she managed to calm her the door opening made her look up only to see Danny walking back in.

"Daddy!" The ballistic missile shaped like a toddler leapt into her fathers arms as he held her close.

"It's OK. It's all good. Daddy won't ever let anyone hurt you OK? There isn't anything in this world or the next that will keep me from you."

Barbara turned from the heartwarming display but only because she heard the door opening again thankfully this time it was Signal walking in Barbara figured he must have already secured the Joker since he didn't seem to be in a rush.

"Hey is everyone OK in here? Any injuries? No ok then I'm going to ask you all to stay in here and stay calm until the GCPD can take statements and get done scraping the Joker off the curb." The nervous undercurrent to Dukes voice should have clued Barbara that something was different but then that last statement hit her. Danny must have knocked the Joker out before coming back inside.

Speaking of Danny he was walking over with a Dawn who had fallen asleep in his arms after crying herself out.

"Hey I wanted to thank you for comforting Dawn. This situation was not something she should have been exposed to and I'm glad that she had someone trustworthy nearby to go to. And I am sorry buy I need to ask you one more favor... do you think you could watch Dawn until my sister gets off work if the cops detain me?"

Barbara couldn't help but double take at that.

"I don't mind but I doubt that will happen." She assured.

"Maybe but I did just stain the street with Jokers brain matter. So it's definitely a non zero chance."

Barbara couldn't help it, she was dumbfounded clearly she was mishearing.

"I'm sorry I must be hearing things, it sounded like you said you killed the Joker."

"Yeah I did. I won't let anyone hurt my family especially not that Steven King reject."

The next couple hours passed in a haze of reassuring parents and answering questions from the police for Barbara.

Thankfully Danny was not detained and was allowed to take Dawn home. Though he did ask Detective Bullock if he needed to be worried about and charges being pressed.

"Haha kid your more likely to get a medal or a holiday for this. Everyone has been hurt by that clown in some way.

Later when she was finally able to get the the clock tower she was unsurprised to find Jason waiting for her there. Clearly he had the same idea that she had, that is using her camera outside the library so that she could see what happened for closure.

The pair watched as this young man beat the Joker back at a different angle than when she saw it earlier that day. But shortly after the door shut she saw it happen so fast a trip over the step with Joker having the wind knocked out of him throwing a loose piece of concrete at the single father who caught it and the proceeded to bash the failed jester until he was unrecognizable.

Jason was the first to break the silence.

"I'm going to need a copy of that video and I suggest you make another one to give to Harley at your next girls night with the sirens."

"Deal but only if you get Alfred to help me cook him thank you meal."

The Prince's

So, I hadn’t originally planned on doing anything for Dani, but this post from @aziraphale-is-a-cats-a-cat got me thinking about things, and I ended up writing this.

So, while the men of the Justice League are trying to figure out who Dani is a clone of, Wonder Woman takes one look at the black haired, blue eyed, mischievous girl and can’t help but see herself in her and claim, “Mine.”

The rest of the League try, but there’s no arguing with Diana now that she’s set her mind on something, but Bruce and Clark have kids and know it’s not as easy as it looks to take care of them.  She’s only ever been the “fun aunt;” she’s never had to get into the dirty, exhausting parts of parenthood before.  It escalates to a full-blown argument, but if Dani has any say in it, she’d rather chill at Wonder Woman’s place for a while.  It sounds better than staying in some gross cave or ice castle, and space isn’t her thing (the same way it’s Danny’s), so she’d rather not stay in the Watchtower.

Arguments about clones and custody continue over the next few weeks, not helped by the fact that Dani is still pretty unconcerned about the whole situation.  Or, she was unconcerned until Vlad showed up.  He’d decided enough was enough and it was long past time he collect his property.

It only takes a single scream.

Diana bursts into the room, fist connecting with Vlad’s jaw, and he’s knocked across the room.

“Don’t.  Touch.  My child.”

She proceeds to hand his ass to him on a bronze platter before he flees into the night, bruised and bloody.

Now it’s Dani’s turn to latch onto Diana’s leg, shouting “Mine!”  This is her new, kick-ass mommy and no one else can have her.  Dibs!  No take backs!  Well, it’s settled, now.  Diana is officially Dani’s mom, and no member of the JLA can stop it.  She scoops Dani up in her arms, and before she’s even out the door, she’s already telling the other Amazon’s the good news and making plans to take Dani to Themyscira to meet her γιαγιά Hippolyta. 

The two work on figuring out family life, and all’s good for a while.  Dani’s got a (relatively) stable home life and is quickly adapting to life as “Danielle Prince.”  She likes that the name sounds similar to Diana’s, like it was on purposeful choice rather than a cheap knockoff of her original’s name, and she’s getting a lot more comfortable with it.  Bruce, thoroughly defeated and resigned to put away the adoption papers, helps her enroll is a good school and finds tutors to catch her up on the years of schooling she didn’t live through.  (This includes Jason Todd, who has volunteered himself as an excuse to hang out with Wonder Woman more.)  Louis helps her get legal paperwork and documents for Dani (something she helped do for Kon).  She makes friends with Damian and Jon.  And she’s just as skilled as Danny with language, so she’s picking up Greek rapidly.

Since Diana’s adopted her and she’s gained an army of superpowered babysitters, Dani is finally starting to feel comfortable enough to share some information with the League.  It’s not much, but she lets them know Plasmius is the one who cloned her, and her last name used to be Fenton.

Oh, no.  Between those colors and facial features, Clark has a pretty good guess at which Fenton family she came from.  Still, the family is enormous, so he doesn’t know which Fenton exactly was cloned, but the family reunion is this year, and wouldn’t hurt to give Dani a bigger support system.  Would she and Diana like to come?

Vlad, meanwhile, has recovered and is pissed.  After shadowing Wonder Woman from a healthy distance, he finds out she’s supermodel Diana Prince.  Plasmius may not have been a match for Wonder Woman, but billionaire Vlad Masters is more than capable of taking some supermodel down a peg or two.

So, he approaches Diana at work, telling her he knows who she is and that he wants his “daughter” back.  His “minion” might not have been a match for her, but if she refuses to comply, he’ll ruin her career.

And she laughs.  Laughs right in his face.  Loudly.  Because she knows he’s bluffing.  A billionaire and supermodel isn’t anything new as far as the media is concerned; it’s a cliché.  But a deadbeat billionaire dad threatening to steal back an illegitimate child from an abandoned single mother?  After years of not paying any child support?  The media would eat something like that right up.  Something that could drop stock prices and ruin political careers.  That’s something anyone would be desperate to keep hushed up and out of the media spotlight, and she’ll drag him kicking and screaming into said spotlight if he comes anywhere near her daughter.  Or maybe the media would prefer to know the real story about his illegal cloning?  After all, that went over so well for Lex Luthor. 

Vlad leaves, and Diana makes a few calls.  First, she makes sure Clark heard everything in that conversation and sets him on the warpath against DalvCo if need be.  She gets Bruce up to speed, and if there’s one thing he’s in the best position to do, it’s to hit Vlad where it really hurts: his wallet.  Vlad was already a pretty scummy businessman.  Wayne Enterprises didn’t need much of an excuse to cancel or back out of business deals with him.

But Diana is still shaken up by the event, even if she’s not going to let it show.  Right now, she wants to send Dani away to Themyscira behind a wall of Amazons where she knows no one will be able to touch her, but Bruce and Louis talk her down.  Dani’s finally settling into a normal-ish life, and uprooting her now will not help her, and if push comes to shove, trying to whisk her away will not look good to the courts.  Louis knows a great lawyer, and Bruce is willing to foot the bill.

For Vlad, that did not go as expected at all.  He hadn’t expected her to know Danielle was a clone, and he doesn’t want Danielle to be public knowledge.  However, he has no intention of getting lawyers involved; she’d be expecting that.  No, he has something far more insidious planned.  It’s been decades since he’s attended one, but the Fenton Family Reunion should be coming up soon, and as far at that family is concerned, once a Fenton, always a Fenton.  She’s prepared to fight lawyers?  Well, Let’s see how she fares against an army of angry grandparents and disapproving aunts demanding that his poor child be returned to him once he sets the family on the warpath.

To Be a Parent

Batman really hadn't expected to find his second son Jason (danny) alive after two years grieving and mourning the death of his son. (Honesty, if it hadn't been for Tim and Dani coming into his life, he doesn't know who or even what he would have become.) That said he couldn't be sure at first the child infront of him was so different from the firework that was Jason but still something kept poking at the back of his mind. Maybe it was Dani's insistence about vlad being evil, hell of what, half, or even a quarter of what his youngest daughter had said was true he would do everything in his power to make sure the man(monster) would never see natural sunlight again. But he had to be sure.

So, a few days later, Bruce Wayne of Wayne enterprises stops into Amity Park to visit the man, during which he gets to meet Vlads God son Daniel, who as soon as Vlad is distracted (thanks to some help from his clone/sister dani she's in her ghost form) proceeds to warn Bruce in vivid detail exactly what his real opinion is of Vlad. It's enough to convince Bruce that not only is this Vlad Masters is up to something but that this tiered angry child might really be jason.

That being said, he made sure to grab some hair samples from the kid when he was distracted so he could run a DNA test on it. As soon as he got back to his hotel, he had brought Dani and Tim with him for this trip (he really was trying to be a better father to his children.) And has promised to take them out to eat. Bruce Wayne gets the DNA results back in less than 15 minutes and the re test comes back in another 15: DNA ANALYSIS OF DANIEL JAMES FENTON DNA MATCH 100 CONFIRMED WITH JASON PETER WAYNE... SECOND MATCH FOUND DANIELLE CATHRINE WAYNE 99.9 PERCENT MATCH... Dani was a clone.. Dani was a clone of Danny fenton... Dani was a clone of Jason Todd... Dani was the clone of Danny phantom. WHAT THE HELL WAS GOING ONNNNNN?.

Prompt where Batman goes to Amity Park to investigate the ghost situation and takes a special interest in Vlad, assuming (rightfully) that he’s part of the problem.

Danny really doesn’t want Batman looking into Vlad because it traces back to his own identity way too easily– and Vlad might just throw them both under the bus if he’s found out. So when Batman comes to FentonWorks to ask a lot of questions, Danny’s just talking Vlad up, agreeing along with his Dad that he’s a good mayor. He’s crying a little inside while he says it.

Danny thinks it might’ve worked– or at least staved off the inevitable.

Then a few days later, Bruce Wayne comes to town, mentions Vlad Masters around Danny one (1) time and Danny lets loose the biggest, nastiest tirade against the man. Just verbally tears Vlad down to fucking shreds. Loathing clear in every word. Complete, unhinged animosity. 

Bruce has both of their identities figured out within the hour.

Both are teenagers trying to repair their kingdom after the reign of terror from their predecessor(s). Both are ill equipped to deal with that pressure alone and both have s network of friends that help them deal with it.

“Tell me that again after you go look in the freezer and see your daughter is fast asleep in there,” Dick told him, his voice was weary and he was also on the floor. He was face down and as he spoke he had lifted a hand, waving it weakly in the direction of the kitchen.

Dani dragged Jason along the promenade by his wrist. She let him pretend that he could easily pull away, though she was actually the stronger of the two of them. He still had very limited ghost powers. His invisibility had developed some, it was almost true invisibility now, as had his flight, he’d managed to levitate the other day. Dani snickered to herself, pushing through the crowd with a little sneaky intangibility, as she remembered that Jason has started to have accidental bouts of that same power. He dropped his favourite mug just that morning.

“If you are thinking about what I think you’re thinking about you are grounded,” Jason growled. Dani laughed harder. That growl was a very different sound to how he talked to criminals, the voice modulator of course accentuated the difference, this was the sound of a tired Dad and she loved that she had one now.

As much as he wants to hate this new family he can’t help but crave the affection they provide, the warmth and comfort , that his parents never could. As much as Tim would miss being Robin he had Mari and that was enough. Who knows maybe he’d go back to the Life later on in life?

What did this all mean and why were those without them ostracized? Was this also why Marinette seemed to have a whole wardrobe change and was now friends with mean girl Chloe?

Well it was up to Jess and reluctantly Damian to find out what was the root of the problem alongside sunshine duo Jon and Aeon, also known as the Seasonal Court while also trying to figure out how to offer their help with the Hawkmoth situation.

But now, the man she hooked up with is back in her life, and Jazz can’t say she’s upset about it. But can he handle her family’s weirdness? Who puts the on switch inside the damn thing anyways!? Even when Danielle had that one murderous phase, thinking she needed to prove herself.
