A withered gasp staggers at the base of your throat, greedy dilated pupils flow all over the gorgeous well drawn ink decorating all over his well sculpted back. Lacing over every detail and contract of muscle flaunting in your hungry gaze. He smiles to himself, feeling your heated gaze scour intently all over his painted back. Purposely flexes his back and shoulder muscles just to hear that cute little tight breath slip past your tempting lips.

“Does that answer your question angel? Or do you want to see more?” He insinuates with a weight of flirtation lingering his smooth voice, grinning mischievously as he watches your eyes pry ever so mindlessly and utterly enthralled at his spacious back. The prominent heat in your cheeks only fueling his ego into luring you further into his witty whims and flirtation.

He absolutely loved the attention and strong hold he had on you, just by a simple work of literal art basking his delicate skin. And the fact that he knew you had a thing for backs.

And then they stop somewhere with a scenic view and jump over to the surprisingly spacious backseat

just- okay, hear me out on this one. i feel like this is something they do a lot, since minho doesn't know how to swim (and doesn't have the patience to learn) but jisung enjoys a lot their dates and making out on private pools 👀 just imagine them if they had kids 😭 minho sitting on the edge, his legs under the water while jisung teaches their little one how to properly swim AAAAAA

remember that little oneshot i wrote? let's move on time and say you're all together, in a relationship. they include you on the dates (of fckn course) SO minho didn't want to swim and jisung decided to accompany him, both of them sitting under the private, well idk how to say in english, but let's call it the umbrella people use in the beach, the shadow umbrella yk? they're there, with some iced coffee or some puddings, the ice creams waiting for you inside the hotel.

oh, but you were so hot you needed to swim. you always loved to be under water, the wide mass of water calming your senses. the fact that the temperature was so high was just another excuse to spend hours and hours there. sorry not sorry but you didn't care your boys didn't want to share the experience. what you didn't know was that they enjoyed the pool for different reasons - seeing you so happy made them flash lovesick smiles to each other, admiring the way you moved through the water and hours turn into seconds.

lucifer gender symbolism essay part 8: jarpad and mark p's acting styles

this is largely subjective, but there are some aspects of how different actors portray lucifer on spn that can read as androgynous or feminine. to me, it stands out the most in jared’s depiction of lucifer, because it’s such a clear contrast to how he plays sam: sam!lucifer keeps his eyebrows raised, uses a softer/smoother vocal tone, and walks/stands differently (whether this last is just because of a difference in confidence standing up straight while moving slowly and kind of model-preening, or because it actually reads as more feminine, is kind of a toss up imo).

obviously they have different feelings here so they are expressing different emotions, but there are ways to convey smugness and condescending concern etc that do not involve this eye-widening, eyebrow-lifting, mouth-softening facial posture...these were choices that were made to make the characterization stand out in contrast to sam's characterization. sam generally does keep his eyebrows down etc, even when he's happy or insincere or bitchy; he rarely if ever uses his face the way lucifer does in this scene. lucifer's expressions remind me more of bela or meg than of sam.

mark p’s depiction (again, i can only really speak to season 5) stands out somewhat in contrast to other characters as well, for many of the same reasons. to me, nick!lucifer comes across as being acted more androgynously than femininely (again, just my own subjective take), but androgyny is very notable on spn, when so many other male actors portray their characters as very, well, to steal sam’s line about dean, butch. nick!lucifer’s voice is soft and it isn’t pitched down; he walks and stands with a fluidity and grace that is in contrast to many of the gruffer characters; he uses some phrases/gestures that would look odd on dean or bobby or castiel or whoever else. i’m thinking the finger over the lips in swan song, the “‘t’s okay, i’m not mad” line, the wrist posture in multiple scenes, etc. these are clearly all deliberate affectations on the part of the character; they’re all human mannerisms; they just are deliberate affectations that give the impression that gender was not an attitude lucifer was especially interested in conveying. gabriel moves very differently from how nick!lucifer does, but there is a parallel there, i think, because gabriel also plays with posture/gesture/vocal tone/expression/turns of phrase in ways that don’t always fit with how spn does “””Correct””” masculinity. 

anyway, like i said, this is pretty subjective. but it is something people have been picking up on in the fandom for at least ten years. here’s a historical post (not mine but linked on my blog from long after it was originally posted because there have been Deactivations…) as an example of the supernatural fandom historical precedent.

Honestly, I really love the idea that the approach with the next gen tends to be “it takes a village” just bc of how embedded the sisters are in each other’s lives. I’ve mentioned it before in the tags of this post, but the idea that you wouldn’t be able to match parents/child or siblings of each set bc you just can’t really tell. I don’t know, just the idea of Piper making cupcakes for the twins’ class while Phoebe gives Mel advice about a boy while Leo teaches Phoebe’s daughter how to drive while Henry teaches Chris how to throw a punch and so on just hits for me for some reason. 

Especially when it comes to trouble, like a demon attack during a Warren family dinner night? Paige pulls Wyatt out of the way of a Darklighter attack, and doesn’t even need to look to know that Coop and Piper will do the same thing for her daughters. Whenever trouble pops up, they’d protect any of the kids with their own life, as if they were their own, no matter whose they actually are.
