Hey, look! An EXTRA strip this week! And it's a COMMERCIAL! lol Yes, for fans of my 1st webcomic, Dandy & Company, that strip will be returning in the form of reruns of the ORIGINAL online run that began in 2001. These strips have only been available to read in PRINT form for years after the original website went down. They will be remastered with the hope of being ready for NEW print editions in time for the online anniversary in a few years, and hopefully this will be a way to RE-introduce the characters to a whole new audience! And if they take off in rerun form, then it will tell me if there's a market for their return down the line. So, here's the FIRST short #cartoon for my planned series of #animated #DandyandCompany #toons called #ShortCuts. It's only about 30 seconds of very rough #animation designed to introduce the general concept. After a lot of consideration, I decided that short, rough #cartoons were a good idea as they allow me to cut my proverbial teeth and learn my way around the technology and have fun before even CONSIDERING doing anything long form or in finished color at this time. I performed the.voice of Bernard here and Dandy is voiced by Todd Fisher. (I need to revise the titles to include credits so Todd and anyone else who helps or provides voices have their names on screen as well in the actual cartoons to follow.) Hope you dig it. :)

Sooo, I generally don’t do “April Fool’s Day” gags, but when this idea occurred to me, I just had to. lol Of course, for a LOT of folks, this will not make any sense. And for a lot of other folks, it is (hopefully) pretty darn funny. This is, of course, the star of my LAST webcomic, Dandy & Company, which ran from 2001 to 2018. Part of the joke here is a reference to a recurring villain in the form of “Evil Dandy”: A version of the character that kinda looked like a Snoopy knock-off that was the ORIGINAL version of the character as I created him as a little kid back in 1982. Evil Dandy was embittered about losing the comic to his re-designed version, and wacky chaos ensued. lol And look at that, THREE strips in one week! Not a thing that’s gonna happy often, but still a fun surprise. :)
