Wow! I love the gleeful exuberance of @dph_palo_alto dancing in front of my mural titled Lost in My Abstracted Garden, located at Palo Alto’s CalTrans Station. Thank you for your joyful, celebratory performance and of course, it’s rad that you’re #dressedtomatch. …Brilliant strategy for activating public art! My piece was one of eight site-specific murals commissioned by @publicartpa for the City’s 2021 Uplift Local initiative. The murals were sprinkled throughout the commercial downtown district to encourage folks to get up, get out, and take a walking tour of the artworks. The mural program was slated to be on view for just a year, but as you can see, there’s plenty of life left in them—and joyful interest too!
