this time I tried to keep the design more accurate when it comes to her original colors (hence more gray) but also had to recreate the cultural outfit properly. Golden stuff kinda ruins the palette but they are a must so I guess it's a lesson for me to plan better in the future. I also skipped the leek: adding it to the "temple jewellery" wouldn't be very respectful I guess. I also kinda forgot lol.

I'm not Indian so I hope I didn't duck this up too much - I did a lot of research.

Irish Dancer Miku 🇨🇮🩵✨

I usually don’t post my drawings on here but the “Miku in your own culture” trend is too cute not to participate in. So here’s Irish dancer Miku!

I only Irish danced for a year or so (soft-shoe) in elementary school but Irish dance was still a decent part of my life before high school. I did it, my sister did it, and lots of girls at my school did it too. Can you tell I come from a bit of an Irish-Catholic background lol? Anyway, I kinda miss seeing it so often 🥹. It’s a very gorgeous and impressive art.

Miku here is dressed as a soloist in hard-shoe shoes. I’d imagine she is about to preform a jig.

(P.S I got rid of her iconic twin tails to make the look more accurate. A majority of the time competitive or intermediate Irish dancers wear curly and bouncy hair extensions attached to a bun. I am noticing now that she looks a bit off without them but what’s done is done ig 🫠.)
