When reading on Ao3, take note of the tags that tend to pop up on the fics you like. If there's a fic you don't like, just exit and move on to the next one. You can keep track of fics you want to read with the "Mark for later" button, and fics you might want to read again with the "bookmark" button. You can feed the fic writers with the "kudos" and "comment" buttons at the end of the fics ;)
