pairing: dana scully x reader I 1628 words summary: after mulder tells you that it's dana scullys birthday after she has already left, you decide to pay her a little birthday visit. warnings: spoiler for s3e2, scully doesn't like her birthday, mention of wine, love confession, kissing a/n: happy birthday, scully! this is my first ever x files fic, so i am aware that this is probably very out of character, but oh well, here we are. x files is literally my new obsession so enjoy <3 my ao3 I x files masterlist

Dana Scully never really liked her birthday. Why would you celebrate being born? And anyways, she never liked all the attention she would get once people found out it was her birthday.

It was especially hard, now, after the passing of her father and more recently the death of her dear sister. The reminders of her seemed to stand out even more on her special day.

Dana thought she made it successfully thorugh her day - only Mulder giving her an acknowledging nod and a whispered happy birthday, scully and of course she had received a call from her mother - once she finally arrived home. The last days had been grueling, a particulary challing case kept her, Mulder and you on your toes and too far away from home.

She had already planned out her evening - a long bath, some trashy film on her cable TV and maybe some ice cream to top it all off. Perfect.

But her plans were crashed once she heard a knock on her dorr. A wuick look towards the clock hanging in her kitchen told her, that it was currently 11pm on a friday night, who wanted to talk to her now? And couldn't it wait until tomorrow? Or Monday?

She told herself, if it was Mulder, she'd strangle him right then and there. But once she opened the door she saw the last person she expected to be there - you. To be more specific, you with a big grocery bag and a bouquet of flowers - her favourite flowers.

She uttered your name, still in disbelief. "What are you doing here in the middle of the night? Come on in, you must be freezing out there! And let me help you here."

You thank her once she takes the bag out of your hand and usheres you insde. While putting the bag on her kitchen counter, you start to explain. "Happy Birthday, Dana! Mulder only told me about it once you were already gone and I didn't want you to have to spend your birthday all alone." You think for a moment before remembering the flowers in your hand. "Oh, and these are for you, of course. I remember you once saying they are your favourites. I hope that's right.

"Wow, that is right, thank you," a blush krept up your neck to your cheeks and you were glad when she turned around to search for a vase to put in the flowers. As you followed her into the kitchen, you saw her rummaging throught he grocery bag you were still holding moments ago.

"I brought you some sweet scnacks, the only store still open was the gas stationa dn theyx didn't really have a selection."

"Oh no, it's fine. I appreciate you coming around, but you really didn't have to. Usually, I don't really celebrate my birthday at all," with her last words she went quieter and quieter and if you weren't stadning directly next to her, you probably wouldn't have heard it at all.

"Oh Dana, why? I don't want to intrude if you'd rather want to spend your borthday alone. I can leave again," you softened your voice to match her tone.

"No, please it's fine. I actually prefer you staying here if you don't mind. And, there's not really a particular reason, I never liked celebrating my birthday, especially though since all that with my sister."

You gave her an understanding nod, becuase oyu did know. It was one of your first cases with Mulder and Scully and you can't even begin to imagine what she must feel at the momemt.

Scully is quick to change the topic thiugh, steering the conversation to something non-depressing.

"I was watching a movie, if you'd like to join. It's nothing special."

"Yeah, that's fine with me. There should also be a bottle of wine in the bag, if you'd like," you pointed at what's left in the brown bag. The snacks already spread over the counter.

"Sounds like a good idea. Go ahead and get comfortable, I'll pour us a glass," she pointed into the direction of the living room before turning around and opening a cabinet, probably to get some wine glasses.

Doing as you were told, you sat down on her couch, the glow of the TV the only thing illuminating the room. On the TV ran an old romance movie and at this point you seemed to be about halfway through.

After a moment, Dana joined you, setting down two glasses of wine on the table in front of you. She sat down next to you, your thighs almost touching.

"I really appreciate you coming. I usally prefer to be alone, I think you've noticed that by now, but I've grown to really enjoy your company. Thank you, really."

You felt like your heart was almost beating out of your chest at her admission and it made you almost proud that you could lighten up her day. feeling like words couldn't apreciate her words enough, you take her hand in yours and gentle squeeze it, signaling that you heard her and you also hoped to convey how much you cared for her.

She returned the smile you sent her immediately and didn't let go of her hand, even when she started concentrating on the TV again. You were both mostly quiet for the rest of the night, the last case obviously having tired you both out.

After about thirty minutes you could feel your eyes starting to droop, but were quickly jolted awake when you felt a sudden weight on your shoulder. Looking over you see Dana, fast asleep on your shoulder, still holding onto your hand. You could feel her breaths on the side of your neck, every puff of air sending a chill down your spine.

As you were about to fall asleep yourself, you decide to take a nearby laying throw blanket and spread it as best as you could over her.

When Dana Scully awoke the morning after her birthday, the first thing she realised was that she was not in her bed, but still in her living room. The second thing she noticed, was that there was something warm laying underneath her body. Something moving?

Craning up her head a bit she was faced with you laying underneath her, one hand over her waist, the other one interwined with hers. When had that happened?

You two must have fallen asleep and apparently folded over into a lying down position while you were asleep. She was secretely pleased with this outcome.

Ever since you joined the duo a few months back she felt this weird pull towards you and after some time she realised that she fallen in love with you. She let you even call her by your first name, just to hear you say it, while Mulder only called her by her last name.

Mulder. He was the only one who knew about her little cursh and must have purposefully tricked you into visiting her. Oh, she would definetely have a calll with him on monday, but for now she would just enjoy your time together, even though it felt a little wrong to stay like this, in case this would make you uncomfortable.

But for some selfish reason she wouldn't wake you yet. She shifted her head to lie more comfortably on your chest, her nose almost touching the soft skin of your throat. From here she could smell your perfume and something so distinct you. It made her heart soar.

Unfortunately, it didn't take long for you to wake up. Your body twitching softly and your eyes fluttering open. The agent didn't even think about pretending to be asleep, her eyes transfixed on yours once they opened. You mutter out a soft good morning, before stretching only your upper body, not wanting to disrupt Scully in her position on her chest.

Scullys head seemed to only know remeber your position and that it wasn't really on purpose or consensual. You could see the slight panick in her eyes once she realises and is close to lifting herself from your body.

Deciding that it was now or never, you decide to take your shot. "We don't have to get uo yet, you can stay like this. Only if you'd like to of course."

A soft smile appeared on your lips when you saw the woman on top of you relaxing again and placing her head on your chest again. You use one of your hands to slightly tilt up her chin, so the two of your were gazing into each others eyes again.

"I have to confess something, Scully," the woman could see the slight panic in your eyes, but also a certain determination. She could only hope to hear her feeling reciprocated by you.

With a heavy sigh you continue. "I have feelings for you. Stronger feelings than a friend or a colleague should have and I have not been honest to you about them. Dana, I think I'm in love with you."

Danas heart was almost beating out of her chest and she was almost sure that you had to feel it too.

"I- I- I feel the same way about you. And now I'm really glad that you cam to see me on my birthday."

Slowly she lifted herself up a bit, but before you could protest, she scooched forward, so her face was directly over yours. Her eyes flickered towards your lips, before going back to your eyes. Leaning forward she finally connects your lips, a sigh leaving you at the contact.

Dana would maybe move her stern talk with Mulder and give him a thank you card.

This was definetely Scullys favourite birthday so far.

You and Dana had gone through college and university with each other before she joined the FBI. You had wild night outs in university, in the prescience of simply each other and friends. Wild nights for you and Dana consisted of a few different meanings. It could’ve simply been a night out with all your friends drinking, a night out getting drunk with the pure intention to have crazy sex somewhere, a crazy sex night itself, studying and testing each other, or ordering takeaway and watching a movie. Although you were close and intimate with each other neither of you confirmed what you really were. Perhaps that’s why it was so easy for her to go her own way, at least you thought it was easy for her. You knew she wanted to join the FBI, you did yourself but things changed for you within a short time. Rather than continuing on down your career path alongside Scully you decided to join the military on short notice. You said to yourself you’d do it for a few months for the experience but little did you know a few months would turn into a few years. When you both graduated you drifted apart suddenly, your deployment was a few days after the graduation and Dana had her own plans starting the FBI as soon as she could. You never said goodbye to each other but you knew where the other was going. Neither you nor Dana kept in touch with anyone from University, everyone moved on.

A few years down the line you were a Captain for a few squads, you’d seen the enemy die, comrades die, you’d had your fair share of new recruits come and go. You were still young and you wanted to chase the FBI role before you were dedicated to the army for life, so you left. Your team threw a ‘party’ for you and sent you off with a stern salute. Dana had also seen her fair share of things over the years in her job. She’d seen things you couldn’t make up or draw on paper, but she was happy to say the least. She was partnered with Mulder and had been with him since she started, so the two of them were relatively close; him more so open about it than her. She was snapped out of her daydreaming and thinking by Mulder, he was joking about the new intake that was about to arrive. This intake didn’t need any training or a shadow phase of any sort, this intake would’ve been interviewed on skills, qualifications and background. Mulder liked to make fun of them and pick them apart, say that joining the job that way was the easy way in, or calling them a bunch of frauds. Scully didn’t like to take much notice of Mulder picking because she knew how extensive and experienced the background of the individuals had to be. She would question Mulder on it because after all they were the same rank.

You waited in the canteen fiddling with your new badge ‘Agent L/N’, it could grant you access to places and rooms you couldn’t access as a civilian let alone a Captain in the army. You’d be lying to yourself if you said Dana hadn’t been on your mind since your application got accepted. You never forgot what she looked like, you were sure she’d work here but you doubted yourself. There was every chance she could’ve walked past you and you hadn’t recognised her. But no that wouldn’t have happened. The mental and physical training you received from the army, your brain wouldn’t let you forget such a significant face. You looked a little different to what you did in University. You looked a little more stoic, your eyes had seen more than the normal citizen. You had a small but aging battle scar on the top of your eyelid cutting up to your eyebrow. Your hair was different, you were lean, but other than that nothing else had changed, at least you thought.

Your intake hadn’t been given offices just yet. It was still being worked out if anyone was going to be sharing an office or having their own. You wished for your own, you were a little bit more reserved now after being betrayed by who you thought were teammates but really were working for the enemy. But still you tried to keep a positive outlook for life. After examining the canteen and the agents in it, you thought it was chilled and relaxed. Your thought were interrupted when the boss came to speak to your intake, announcing those that got their own offices, and those that would share. You were pleased to see the sight you saw when you left the elevator and walked down a corridor. ‘Y/n L/, Special Agent was written on a piece of paper blu-tacked to the door whilst your plaque was on its way. You scanned around seeing some storage rooms, Skinners office, a break room, a meeting room, some other agents rooms, and a Fox Mulder Special Agent, was 4 doors down from you. You made a mental note of the names that were in your corridor. Unlocking your door with your new key you had a look around in your new office, it was cold looking, neat but cold. There was chalkboards and cork boards, a computer, a chair, another desk and a spare chair that was facing your desk. And there were some spare supplies for you to decorate your office with. There was a metal locker and a projector. Stuff that would come into use. You were happy to see that the clock was working because it read that it was lunchtime. Heading down to the canteen you slung your lanyard that carried your badge and key on it around your neck and shut your door to lock it.

Just as you were turning round a red haired woman flashed passed your eyes at the bottom of the corridor. You didn’t see her face but you couldn’t shake the colour of her hair. She was only short and petite, she was dressed and seemed to move elegantly. It was a flash, a blur even, but she was making her way into Fox Mulders room. You tried to shake it off, tried to shake Scully off of your mind. It was your first day and you didn’t want to piss anyone off. Off to the canteen you went, with a redhead on your mind. You didn’t really eat dinner. It was a little much and after being out the military for 2 or 3 months it was too much compared to what you ate there, so you pushed it around. Thinking about Dana you felt happy, sad, and angry. She left you, she dropped you like it was nothing and never made any effort to contact you. You thought you would’ve received a letter, but nothing. She knew you joined the army and nothing. You felt betrayed but you promised yourself that even if you did work 4 doors down from her you wouldn’t let it affect you work. You were here for change, here for a new start. Just as you stood up with a full plate of food if it wasn’t for your reflexes you would’ve spilt the food all over yourself and the man standing in front of you. “Good reflexes, let me guess, ex-professional circus actor?” He chuckled but your face didn’t change. He held his badge up to you showing you his name ‘Fox Mulder’, you tilted your head and he clocked on that you knew his name. “Ahh I see you know me, have you seen my name in the papers, on awards, at the bottom of case files?” “No”, you stated. He awkwardly nodded his head but explained that he saw a new name on the door that he been empty and had been on the hunt for you. “How’d you know what I look like from my name?” You asked, “I didn’t know whatcha looked like, but I’ve asked a hundred other girls if they’re Agent L/n but it seems like I’ve hit the jackpot. Leave that there and I’ll come up and show you where I am”. “That’s not necessary Agent Mulder I already know”. You were putting your plate back down when he shouted back already walking off, ��Just Mulder is fine, come on”.

You rolled your eyes, following a trail of sun seeds Mulder had dropped on the floor. Walking slightly behind him you pulled out a gold lighter and sparked up a cigarette to calm your nerves, remembering this was the same room the red haired woman walked into.

True Temptation…

Pairing: Dana Scully x fem!reader

Summary: Tension rises between two female agents and eventually the rubber band snaps when stretched too far.

Warning: Minors DNI, a little angst, but turns into smut

******************************************************** “And still you disobeyed orders!!” The assistant director snapped pacing back and forth in the conference room where you were all seated you had been tasked in cleaning up the mess of yet another Fox Mulder case, but not before closing the case and landing yourselves in a meeting with Skinner.

“Sir…” Mulder spoke, but you were to focused on the woman next to you. You watched as she pinched the bridge of her nose, and then leaned back in her chair, the way she held her pen. You thought about how close you’d grown over this last case, though sharing a room will do that, you thought about late nights sitting on the same bed sharing stories and just how well your personalities worked together. You admired her features, her simplistic natural looking makeup and her gorgeous ice blue eyes as they watched the men argue, the perfect way her red hair fell to meet her shoulders and the grey suit that she wore. She contrasted with you so well and yet somehow it seemed you belonged together, the things you would do to that woman. You could only imagine your bodies tangled together under dark sheets, breath hot and heavy and she called your name.

You sat there all these things running through your mind, you had one leg crossed over the other, one hand rested in your lap as the other spun a pen through your fingers, your face without realizing it seemed focused and it wasn’t until you felt a gentle hand on your thigh that pulled you back to reality. You looked to see a well manicured hand gently placed on your thigh unmoving, you looked up meeting gorgeous light blue orbs. “You okay?”

“huh?… oh yea, sorry.” Finally realizing it was only the two of you in the room, trying to hide the blush on your features.

“No it’s okay, you just seemed really intense about something, I was hoping it wasn’t the arguing.”

“Oh no way.” You softly chuckled, she gently smiled at you. Ugh that smile killed you, when she looked at you like that it was like she was begging you to just kiss her.

“Wanna talk about it?” She asked still unmoving as she was leaned towards you.

“maybe after a couple drinks.” You said standing and smoothing out your dark maroon suit.

“first round on me?” She asked, resting her hand on your lower back as she stepped around you.

“Um actually why don’t you just come to my place, I just went shopping so I can throw some dinner together for us.” You watched hopefully but she agreed quickly, almost to quickly and it made you hopeful.

you heard the door open as Dana let herself in and called your name, “In here…” you called.

Quickly you checked yourself the jeans you wore with the flannel slightly unbuttoned and loosely hugging your frame, your soft curls pulled into a loose ponytail. You turned hearing her enter the kitchen wiping your hands in the towel, you looked her over the dark jeans and the tank top hugging her top half, an unbuttoned shirt with rolled sleeves and her hair laid perfectly, even outside of the usual suits and business attire she was drop dead gorgeous and you wanted nothing more than to undress her slowly.

“Drinks are in the fridge, food is almost done.” You smiled motioning towards the fridge, she walked over grabbing a beer and hopping up on the counter next to you.

“So you going to tell me what had you so focused today?” She smirked watching you squirm, little did you know she had a good feeling about what it was.

“Uhm… about that.” You laughed, you looked at her as she waited, her eyes were comforting and so you decided to risk it.

“Okay to be honest it was you, I’ve been attracted to you since the day we met and spending all that time together it… well.” You turned to her stepping in front of her on the counter, her eyes flicked from yours to your lips and back, quickly leaning in you kissed her and felt as she kissed you back.

“sorry, if that changes things but…”

“I’ve been waiting for you to do that.” She said smiling before pulling you back in for more kisses these were deeper more intense than before. She pulled you in closer, wrapping her legs around you, you let your hair fall around you as she ran her hands through it letting them place on your strong shoulders.

“Oh god your lips feel amazing…” you whispered against her, you could feel her smile and slight moan as you kissed her again. You quickly picked her up guiding her to your bedroom not caring about anything else in that moment but the beautiful woman before you, closing the door you turned her around pressing her back to the door one hand next to her head as the other caressed her hip as you kissed her, she quickly tugged at buttons on your shirt pushing it over your shoulders then she started on your pants.

“Wait Dana, have you ever done this before?” You asked reading her eyes.

“with a woman… no… but…” she said nervously.

“its okay, just let me take the lead, show you how it’s done.” You said starting to kiss down her neck, pulling her shirt off and tossing it along with the tank top revealing her smooth black bra you expertly undid the clasp. You placed kisses across her chest feeling her hand come up to your hair and gently rake through as you pulled a nipple into your mouth your hand massaging the other. You guided her to the bed, undoing her pants and panties, tossing them aside quickly stripping yourself. You placed kisses down her stomach feeling her shake with anticipation beneath you. When Dana wasn’t around it was like the whole world was slightly tilted. Fox was a good agent but he had grown so accustomed to her being there that when she took one week of sick leave it was like he had lost his damn mind. That was the only reason you were there. You shouldn’t have been there. If it was Dana, everything would be solved and he wouldn’t be going through this grief right now.

But he had asked you to come.

“Why me?” you had asked.

“Because you’re the only person other than Scully that would believe me when I tell you this isn’t an ordinary murder.” You never worked officially on the X-Files, only when Dana or Fox needed the help. But you were more on his side then hers. You tended to believe the supernatural reasons behind many of the cases. He had even told you about his sister, before he ever met Dana.

So you agreed.

Damn it if you wouldn’t have agreed.

“You aren’t his regular partner,” the police officer commented.

“Oh, have you worked here with Dana before?” you asked. You were walking together through the crime scene. It was an odd one, the eyes gouged out and the victim being a pretty prolific medium.

“Once. It was a good case.” He kneeled down beside the body. “Like this one.” “Dana’s out sick this week, I’m an agent as well. I’ll do the job like she was here in spirit,” you promised. The officer nodded sturtly. Fox leaned down next to the body.

“This is the only one?” he asked.

“Yeah. So far,” the officer muttered, hands on his hips. You and Fox met eyes. You kneeled down beside him and he leaned forward into you.

“You seeing this?” he asked.

“Yeah Mulder I am.”

You sat beside him at the hotel. He was shuffling through papers that he had gotten from the police department. He had his glasses on, the light on the hotel desk dim. You took one from him, looking at the dead body again. You would probably die with that body on the back of your eyelids. You will never forget it.

“Fox, what are you thinking?” He was silent for a moment, trying to figure out what exactly he wanted to tell you. His inkling was something supernatural. There was obviously something wrong about all of this. It wouldn’t make sense for someone to come and do something this random to this person.

“Probably one of the people she gave a reading to,” Fox suggested, taking the picture from you and putting it with the rest. “Don’t know how the hell they burned the eyes though,” he breathed. You let out a scoff.

“We shouldn’t have to know. Alas, it is our job.” You stood up. “I’m gonna go grab some food and coffee. I have a feeling you aren’t going to fall asleep for another couple of hours. Do you want anything?”

“A coffee would be great. For food just get me whatever you get,” he said absentmindedly. You nodded and walked out the hotel room door. You had the keys to your car in hand. You were used to the late nights that came with being an agent but usually you were dealing with regular people. They were scary but they weren’t unknown. You usually were under the impression that you were looking for a man or a woman. You didn’t know exactly what you were looking for here. You didn’t know what you would find.

You unlocked the car and got inside.

There was a moment of panic as a hand went over your mouth but then there was nothing.

Mulder started to get worried about forty five minutes later. You were both in a place that was unfamiliar but you should have been back by then. He checked the clock. Well past midnight.

About an hour and a half after you left he started to get very very worried. He called your cell, no answer. He then decided it was time he did some investigating on his own, though he was quite limited considering he didn’t have a car.

He called the police chief to give him a ride.

The next morning he concluded the worst. You had been taken.

“We need to find her,” was all he was able to say. The officer nodded.

“We’re trying Agent Mulder but we don’t have much to go on.”

“Why did he take her? That isn’t...that isn’t like him,” Mulder muttered. He had to find you.

“Agent, I know this isn’t exactly my place but aren’t you too close to this?”

“Shut up,” Mulder muttered. “I’m sorry. Scully would commend me for being rude.” His eyes lit up. “Dana. Someone get me a phone.” ===

Dana came the second she heard. You had been friends after all and she was in your debt for taking her work. She was still sick but she was getting better.

“You wouldn’t have been kidnaped,” Mulder commented.

“Why is that?”

“Because you never go out to get food after midnight,” he said. She rolled her eyes, arms crossed.

“Do you want my help or not?” She couldn’t help but notice how awful he looked. She was fairly certain he hadn’t slept at all the past 48 hours. He had another coffee in his hands, the second she had seen him drink since she got on sight. She watched carefully as he paced the room, muttering to himself. HE wasn’t going to be able to find you, not like this. “Mulder.”

“What?”

“You need to take a nap.” “While she’s out there? Absolutely not.”

“You can’t find her if you hallucinate her.” Scully said sturtly. “You need to get 20 minutes. That’ll keep you going until we find her.”

“Agents?” They both turned around to the officer. “We found her.”

You were freezing. Whoever it was who had taken you had taken your jacket and you were wearing a skirt in the first place. They had tried to beat information out of you. When they realized they weren’t going to get it, they tossed you on the side of the road in the cold, hoping you would die from hypothermia.

Mulder ran up to your hospital bed. Your lips were blue. Your eye was swollen shut. You looked shaken but the second you saw him you raised your hand, reaching over to the side table to where the nurse had put down your food.

“I got you what I got,” you whispered. He scoffed, eyes tearing up as he sat down beside you. Dana stayed outside, giving you a moment of privacy.

“I’m so sorry,” he whispered. “I shouldn’t have let you go out alone.”

“I should have known they would try and get me. This isn’t your fault.”

“I’m not the one with the black eye.”

“Mulder…” He put his hand on your cheek.

“You’re never going to work on an X File again,” he breathed. “I’ll have Dana work through any sickness.” “This could have easily happened on a regular case,” you promised, putting your hand on his that was still on your cheek. “I can do what I want.”

“Yeah and you’ll never work on an X File again.” You smiled weakly, your head drooping tiredly.

“I need to sleep,” you whispered. “Don’t go?”

“I would never.”

Saw your requests as open, I was wondering if you could do Dana x reader on a mission together? The reader could be fem or gender neutral, whatever is more comfortable for you. Basically, the reader has both the body and mind, accompanying the agents on the mission, but they absolutely do not got along with planes. I totally hate planes. I wish Skinner would have just let

me drive to the scene on my own. But then again I

would not want to leave Scully here on the plane on her

own with the others. I gripped the edge of the sink so

hard my knuckles were turning a deathly shade of

white. My stomach heaved and i shuffled over to the

toilet and relieved my stomach. A knock was heard on

the door. "Yes, who's there?" "It's me Dana love, are you

doing alright there, I'm worried because you have been

in there for a while after running off from our hugging

session on the plan.. I'm wondering if i was the cause of

it and if I made you uncomfortable in any way or form.

My sincerest apologies to you." I flushed the toilet and

shakily got up on my feet and washed my hands and

face with water. I opened the door and grabbed Dana's

arm and pulled her into the bathroom before shutting

the door and locking it."Dana.. there is nothing wrong

with our relationship. I'm so sorry if you got that

impression. I'm just a little plane-" I didn't get to finish

my sentence before running over to the toilet and

throwing up my stomach once more. I slide down on

the wall to the floor filling queasy and dizzy. Dana

moved over towards me and sat down on the floor of

WHAT I WRITE

I only write in reader format (no given names, no specific appearance descriptions; I want every story to be adaptable to each individual, i.e. fitting the (Y/n), (h/c), (s/c), formula).

I write pretty much anything (fluff, angst, whump, gore/violence, battles), but draw the line with hardcore smut and explicit sexual abuse scenes.

I might be suggestive or hint at something more intimate, but it is never my goal to overly sexualize a scene unless specified otherwise in the a/n of the fic itself. (I’m very asexual, lol.) 

I write one-shots, imagines, preferences, and series, depending on where I want the story to go and how long I want it to be. I hold the right to decide what length the story will be (since it is my time and effort going into it), but I do enjoy your input.

I only write the reader in gender neutral format so I can include everyone (although fem descriptors might sometimes slip through the cracks) unless otherwise stated.

I generally write AUs if it’s something simple like a coffeeshop, bookshop, or modern au (or something similar). I just don’t write crossover AUs.

be patient, please! writers have lives outside of their hobbies and passions that cannot be adjusted or changed. sometimes the fanfiction has to wait, despite any publication schedules we try to maintain. please do not demand updates - I update as often as I can.

if I turn your request down, please know it’s nothing personal against you or your idea, I just don’t want to write an entire story for a scenario I’m not interested in personally. I have to choose projects carefully to be sure I can manage my ADHD with it and see it through to the end.

asking for personality traits for the reader is fine (i.e. shy, outgoing, adventurous, reserved, snarky, etc.)

asking for a background for the character is fine (i.e. reader was abused in her childhood and is afraid to be a mother, the reader was in an accident that has given them PTSD, etc.)

asking for a mood, general storyline/scenario is okay! 

do not request highly specific character details (i.e. the reader, named Astra, who has blue hair and wields a bow, golden eyes, and a gothic style, etc.)

do not request highly specific scenarios or details (shown in examples below). these are commission level additives that I’m not willing to write for.

please respect that as a writer I reserve the right to alter things and make them my own and follow through with the story as I see fit, not just copy your idea point-blank. 

do not write spin-offs or additions to my stories; although they involve fictional characters that do not belong to me, the writing and storylines of each individual story do, and each story takes an incredible amount of work. the dialogue, story, and world-building I add to require as much time and effort as original works.
