An actor that lives in back of my mind: Dane Deehan

GOODNESS did he take a spot in my messy brain so fast! He normally takes on characters who are morally grey, problematic, and/or troubled. I recognized him in Oppenheimer, and I have to say, he's definitely mastered his roles as the architype that his characters usually embody. My favorite movies that he acted in? Probably The Amazing Spiderman 2, and Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets... its been a while since I've watched them but he's just- idk whatever

I cannot stress how good he is in the romantic/emotional scenes in Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets! He's a womanizer military general who falls in love with a girl who tries to brush off his attempts to sweep her off of her feet. It's SUCH an underrated movie! Especially when she explains to him what love is, and he confesses that he loves her and trusts her- ahhhhhh! I could rewatch it a thousand times and feel the same fuzzy feeling. AND the BEACH SCENE!!! Them pinning each other down, catching each other off guard, AMAZING! At first I was a bit iffy about Cara Delevingne as Valerian's love interest, but she's really good at acting as the smart, stoic, badass girl.

Anyway, Dane's just a really good actor, albeit underrated. I feel like he just gets bad lines, but his emotional performances are breathtaking.

Like the scene in The Amazing Spiderman 2, where he (Harry Osborn) pleads at Electro to help him get rid of Spiderman as he gets dragged away, he essentially repeats the same line: "I need you", but his line delivery really takes the cake for me. I could feel the emotion, and how he was so desperate to live. (He suffers from a curse or disease or something that his father died of). I- idk I was so enraptured by his performance idk how to explain it.

I also heard he did a movie with Daniel Radcliffe, but I personally haven't watched it yet lol, maybe soon.

Dane DeHaan is the voice of Victor in Leap (2016). Dane was born in Allentown, PA., and has 41 acting credits from a 2005 short to Dumb Money (2023). His entry among my best 1001 is Lawless.

His other notable credits include seven episodes of In Treatment, three of True Blood, Chronicle, The Place Beyond the Pines, Lincoln, Kill Your Darlings, The Amazing Spider Man 2, and Oppenheimer.

In the American dubbed version, Victor is voiced by Nat Wolff. This is his third honorable mention, after Ashby and The Fault in our Stars.

I hate when they take a weird looking actress and put her in a bunch of make up and go “wow look! She’s actually a supermodel too! With all this make up, she actually looks palateable“ — like no. She looks like a weird frog. That’s the appeal. Bill Skårsgard and Dan DeHaan get to look like weird little men, but Mia Goth and Anya Taylor Joy get Diorified. Disgusting.

Farrell a enregistré le single "Yellow Light" spécialement pour le film.  La même année, le rappeur devient le protagoniste du dernier mini-film tourné dans le cadre de la campagne publicitaire du nouveau sac Gabrielle de Chanel.  Le clip de 7 minutes a été créé par le directeur créatif de Chanel, le légendaire Karl Lagerfeld, et la vidéo a été réalisée par Antoine Carlier.

 Chanel et Pharrell Williams ont une longue amitié et le producteur de musique lui-même est un ambassadeur de la marque.  L'artiste populaire de 44 ans a établi une sorte de record : il est le premier homme de l'histoire de la maison Chanel à participer au tournage d'une campagne publicitaire.  Auparavant, l'actrice Kristen Stewart, le mannequin Caroline de Maigret et, bien sûr, l'égérie de l'éminente créatrice, Cara Delevingne, sont apparues dans des mini-films consacrés à la sortie de Gabrielle de Chanel. Il convient de noter que non seulement les relations amicales sont associées au modèle britannique du musicien.  En décembre 2014, ils ont joué dans le court métrage Chanel Reincarnation, et en 2017, Farrell est devenu le producteur de la première vidéo du mannequin, I Feel Everything.  La composition était la bande originale du film de Luc Besson "Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets", dans lequel Kara, avec Dane DeHaan, jouait le rôle principal.  Le single est sorti le 20 juillet (la veille de la première américaine du film).

Nos sources fiables et éprouvées nous affirment que House of Mouse développe une série télévisée Chronicle. Nous ne savons pas si le spectacle est conçu en tant qu'une continuation de l'histoire présentée dans le film de 2012 ou une sorte de redémarrage. Cela dit, il est possible que l'un des producteurs du film ait fourni un indice il y a quelques années. Nous avons appris en exclusivité qu'une série télévisée Chronicle est en préparation chez Disney. En 2021, Forbes s'est entretenu avec John Davis qui, à l'époque, aidait à promouvoir Jungle Cruise. Davis était producteur à la fois sur Jungle Cruise et Chronicle, et bien qu'il n'ait fait aucune mention d'une série, il a dit qu'une suite de Chronicle était en développement.
