Been reading some fluffy inukag fics and I just HAD to draw this scene.❤ Based off @fuedalreesespieces fanfic Litany during the scene where Kagome and Inu steal a stuffed animal from a rigged fair game. I haven't seen anyone talk about how when John, Yelena, and Ava were in the back of that truck comparing weapons (which hehe very cute scene imo), Yelena asks about John's "hat" and he's like "my helmet?" And she's like "yeah, do you like it?" And he mutters a weak "yeah, yeah I like it."

Then jump to the post credit scene and he's changed it from that helmet to a little military beret and I just love that for multiple reasons.

1.) most serious reason being that it means he's choosing to create a look that is more himself instead of trying to replicate Steve

2.) because tbh that helmet did not suit him aesthetically like sorry bby but it squished your face it didn't work

3.) because of the above scene it just feels so cute and silly. I wonder if Yelena teased him when he first showed up in his little beret instead of the helmet. He'd probably get all flustered and deny it had anything to do with that conversation. He's such a loser haha I love him.
