Another entry for the ORV x Fate/Stay Night AU ! This time it's again the Heaven's Feel AU path, specifically the dream sequence from the 2nd movie! As usual big thank you to my friend and fellow co-scholar @qdawgbsky

I mostly just wanted to draw KDJ in cute clothes w shorts hehe towards the end it's pretty messy but we both agreed that KDJ / OD's magic should be tied to his imagination. For example OD can summon a impenetrable shield as long YJH is next to him, because he believes that he can't be hurt as long the other is there🥺 (ofc it's limited by mana s many spells are in Fate, so its impenetrable but not inexhaustible) SImilarly, KDJ here uses small YJH kkoma's to attack i thought it'd be cute, especially since at this point he's fully immersed in the dream / fantasy

ORV x Fate/Stay Night AU(x) - What if KDJ followed Sakura in the Heavens Feel Route

(x) Previous art by them here (x), and mine here (x) Some Extra Context: After a whole life of abuse, living as the disgraced son of his mage family, KDJ tries confronting his family in order to quit Instead his resentment amplified by the shadow overflows, so he and the shadow… more notes, explaination:

The "it" KDJ talks about is the being from the grail that wants to descend into the world, getting born. However its birth will likely, almost guaranteed, kill many people. So towards the end there's a question of whether its evil from birth, if its birth will inevitable kill hundred of ppl. The question is never answered in the story itself per se, since more than an actual question it's more a reflection of the final two characters and how they specifically relate to the question: "Were you born evil?"

KDJ in this case squarely lands on "yes".

Honestly this whole AU is so self indulgent HAHA For the longest time it felt like I was the only Fate fan in my fandom 😫 my wild ramblings going nowhere... LMAO

I've been trying to get into Sentinel & Guide AUs a bit and the thought of this for JD made me laughed, because the animals tend to be mammals most the time but with fish….. I couldn't help myself hahaha

I made a mistake! I read the orv webcomic then realized it’s not done yet! Now I need to start over with the novel! This is what happens when I go “ooh pretty art!” You successfully got me hooked though! Please know I blame (affectionate) you for however this impacts my life going forward!
