A few shots from yesterday's early Fall ride on the Westmoreland Heritage Trail, starting in Saltzburg, PA, through Slicksville and ending at the western terminus near Dalton. October 10, 2020. Note the hedgehog-looking fungi on the side of the tree. My first impression while riding past it was, "Hedgehog face!" It even has the fringy outline. Whatever the species, it's definitely face-like in appearance. The napping pig is part of a larger family that we've been watching grow over the years, in numbers and girth. So far no piggies have gone to market.
