MCF OCs !!

Here's the link to the Mystery Case Files section of my OC page! It's not finished but at least I got it all up for now!

But to give a summary; I have 2 OCs for the MCF franchise! I decided on two bc although a majority of the games hint at the Master Detective being female, there are a couple of games that indicate them being male. So to remedy this in my head, I just made two characters!

Hazel Chamberlaine and Jack Bloome are both detectives working for the MCF Agency. They were once married but ended up divorcing after a short period but they are still pretty good friends once the animosity simmered out. They met during the investigation in Huntsville and while the title of Master Detective was initially only offered to Hazel, she insisted on Jack being offered the title as well so that they could continue to work together.

Hazel is my 'canon' Master Detective, meaning she is the MD I envision during 99% of the games (ESPECIALLY the Ravenhearst Saga). At some point, Jack retired from being a Master Detective and is the Director/"Head Agent" of the London office of the MCF Agency.

Every time I think about The Dalimar Legacy I get a little more frustrated with it and the way the time travel is handled. Well over half of the Master Detective’s cases wouldn’t have happened, hell, they never would’ve been invited to England to become a member of the Royal Agency. Like 12 of the games never would’ve happened in the new timeline...

Continuation of my last post...

In my last post I showed my new profile picture and mentioned that I found it on a post on the Facebook for GrandMA Studios. I wanted to elaborate further on that and discuss some theories I have surrounding that so without further ado, let's get into that. There may be mild spoilers ahead so be advised...

The post reads: 'Dear MCF fans, especially those who love the story of Charles and Emma. We have prepared a little fan art to please you! Perhaps there is a universe in which Charles is not an evil genius at all and he has a chance for Emma's mutual love?'

Now let's dive into some theories I have on this... I find it interesting and kinda weird that the official Facebook for the current developers of the series to mark this image as 'fan art'. Fan art?! Excuse me?! I don't think this is fan art at all. I think this is a teaser image for a future game. Notice how it's torn in half?! That looks like something that could show up in a game. Maybe Charles or Emma ripped it?

They hint at alternate universes as well which could be a call back to what the Detective caused in Dalimar Legacy with the changing of history. I also remember at the end of Dalimar Legacy that Charles says something along the lines of 'perhaps there's a universe where I won.' I've only played it once so forgive me if I'm misremembering.

I know at the end of Dalimar Legacy Charles gets sent back to the asylum but he always finds a way to come back somehow. He's done it so many times and if there are multiple timelines out there now because of the Detective messing with things, then it could be possible for him to come back. Also with this image, it's possible there's a timeline where he was good and got to live a happy life with Emma and didn't kill her.

I have more theories surrounding this but I'm gonna save those for some other posts because I have more fun little tidbits to share so stayed tuned!

Yes, in my own MCF fanfic universe, Emma will be part of the MCF Detective Agency Headquarters.

(I am not fond of the canon universe where Emma gets consumed cuz I admire Emma XDDDD)

Also, the timeline of this AU was after some few cases after Escape from Ravenhearst (Not The Dalimar Legacy)

Also, this is my rendition of the "Old" MCF Agency Headquarters (even though the "Old" MCF HQ's Exterior did not show up in games) I based it on the description from my MCF Fan fiction titled: Convergence of Reality.

Architecture style: Elizabethan x Neoclassical x Victorian Interior Style.

The building's design is based on Hardwick Hall.

For those who don't speak Spanish I took the time to translate this post into English(I hope this okay with the original poster). Also I used Google Translate to translate this so I apologize if it isn't entirely correct or doesn't entirely make sense.

Impressions

It has light spoilers, if you haven't reached the end ignore it.

Okay, I already saw a gameplay of the game, we were shown what green energy sent to the past of his nemesis, Charles invented and built anything mechanical(a butler named Robert, tubes to pass letters, a small flying ship to send packages and messages); Yes, he worked on his projects. Doors with puzzles are present.

Robert(or Roberto as I call him), is a loyal assistant, very loyal. 🩶⚙️

Now with the temporal alteration I happen this:

The MD cured Emma, Emma managed to return to the United States to take care of her sick father, she married another man and her offspring work with MD at the agency.

We sent the letter to stop the construction of the mansion, and as Charles was arrested and taken to the asylum(I hope to another one), the construction stopped permanently and the victims who he used for his experiments lived in peace(How do you think he managed to make a machine to be immortal?:trial, error and test subjects)

Without Emma and without a mansion, Rose was not hired by Charles, neither she nor her daughters had a fatal fate, Rose lived happily next to her husband.

And since Emma or Rose was not imprisoned by Charles, Victor was not born.

Most of the games in the Ravenhearst saga did not happen by changing the past, these were:Ravenhearst, Madame Fate(Fate is still alive), Return to Ravenhearst, Escape From Ravenhearst, Rewind.

The games where Alister appears could happen differently; In Fate's Carnival, Alister, not knowing about his son, decides to trap Fate to get her crystal ball, MD would rescue her and defeat Alister, in Sacred Grove, the story would not change, the Key and Unlock games would be combined, Alister would make a lair in the old unfinished construction of the mansion, he would put a spell on the guy to make a museum of the middle ages, he would get the materials and by his own spells raise the ancestral land, the MD would confront him together with the MD of the age half, Alister loses, MD does not get the crow skull mark and there would be no Dalimars. Whether or not the stories of the games are combined, see it however you want.

The case papers would no longer exist or their information would change.

Will MD's memories of his cases related to the Dalimars be erased over time or not?

Charles said he would come back and show up again, we'll see.

But what did impress me is...

Why does MD have wavy hair?

Her hair is pretty and she takes care of it but it wasn't how I imagined her. (I thought she would have straight hair). :c

Again I hope the translation is correct considering I used Google Translate. This is an interpretation of the events of Dalimar Legacy and while everyone is allowed their own opinion I wanted to give my own opinion on what is stated here.

The first paragraph just states what happens. The only thing I have to say about this is I love Robert so much. He is so cute. Also yes Charles was working on puzzles, locks and contraptions from the very beginning because we know this is why he was locked in the asylum in the first place; his diagnosis was literally illusions of grandeur and lock and key obsession.

The next sentence, yes Robert is incredibly loyal which is what, unfortunately, leads to his demise, merely because of his programing. RIP robo-buddy.

The first bullet point, it is very clear that MD cures Emma, considering they, while possessing Charles, looks for a cure and administers it. And yes the offspring of Emma does work at the agency with MD because at the end after MD goes back to their own time period and their own body, they meet said offspring, which is Emma's (I think) great-granddaughter, who tells MD the manor was never lived in, mentions Emma, she even looks like Emma and mentions it becoming the new MCF headquarters.

The second bullet point, yes the letter stopped the construction and thankfully, Charles was arrested, sent back to the asylum and hopefully, everyone else lived happily ever after.

The third bullet point, this one gets a bit confusing. Yes, Rose lives happily with her husband and never works for Charles but... the daughters. That's the confusing part. One of two things could happen with them. In Key To Ravenhearst we learn the twins are related to Charles rather than Rose's husband like originally thought. With the changed timeline, they could either be:A:never born or B:be related to Rose's husband(for real this time). It is up to personal choice. I could honestly see either one being true.

The fourth bullet point, I fully agree with this one. No Victor. Thank goodness.

The fifth and sixth bullet points, I am combining these for a reason. I agree with the list of cases that no longer exist but I also want to add some. I believe that Ravenhearst, Madame Fate, Return to Ravenhearst, Escape From Ravenhearst, Fate's Carnival, Sacred Grove, Key To Ravenhearst, Rewind, and possibly Moths To A Flame don't exist and here is the reason. Ravenhearst never happened cuz the manor was never finished. Madame Fate never happened because Charles was locked up and long dead(possibly) by then so therefore she doesn't die. Return to Ravenhearst and Escape from Ravenhearst never happened for the same reason as Ravenhearst. Fate's Carnival, Sacred Grove, Key To Ravenhearst and Ravenhearst Unlocked never happened because Alister would be trapped in the Ball of Fate. The only reason he originally escaped is because Madame Fate was dead and the spell trapping him weakened and he was accidentally released by MD. But with Madame Fate still alive the spell never weakened and Alister is still trapped. Since Alister is still trapped, Ravenhearst City never got resurrected and the citizens that are trapped there remain so. And Moths To A Flame possibly didn't happen because the Archivist wouldn't have had the Ravenhearst cases to take inspiration from but then again, it could've still happened just differently. If Moths To A Flame didn't happen, the games following that featured the green energy, could've been erased or changed. But what was described in the sixth bullet point is interesting to think about as a possibility but the biggest flaw I see with it is it is obvious Alister never used the manor because when MD goes back to their own time, the manor was never lived in or used at all from the looks of it and seems to be confirmed by Emma's descendant.

The seventh bullet point, yes the cases that no longer exist would no longer have a record in existence.

The eighth bullet point, it's possible but honestly I don't think they will forget.

The sentence following the bullets, I think Charles will come back for several reasons. For one thing, the Dalimars always seem to pop back up. For another, in this new timeline, Alister is likely still alive, albeit trapped, and he could get free somehow still. Third, GrandMA Games, stated in a Facebook post that 'Charles Dalimar will live forever.' And lastly, I am an optimistic Charles fangirl who needs Charles to come back.

And on the last thing, I don't think the Detective's hair is a for sure thing. As it is shown, the Detective is likely to have any hairstyle or look or gender. I think it is to be assumed the Detective is supposed to be you or whoever or whatever you want them to be.

Sorry for the long post. I just saw this and wanted to translate and give my thoughts. What are your guys' thoughts?

Ok, ya me vi un gameplay del juego, se nos mostró qué la energía verde envió al pasado de su nemesis, Charles inventaba y construía cualquier cosa mecánica(un robot mayordomo llamado Robert, tubos para pasar cartas, un barco pequeño volador para enviar paquetes y mensajes); si qué trabajaba en sus proyectos. Las puertas con rompecabezas están presentes.

Robert(o Roberto como le digo), es un asistente leal, muy leal. 🤍⚙️

Ahora con la alteración temporal paso esto:

El MD curó a Emma, Emma logro volver a Estados Unidos para cuidar a su padre enfermo, se caso con otro hombre y su descendencia trabaja con MD en la agencia.

Enviamos la carta para parar la construcción de la mansión, y como Charles fue arrestado y llevado al manicomio(espero que a otro), la construcción paró definitamente y las víctimas quienes utilizo para sus experimentos vivieron tranquilos(¿Cómo creen que logro hacer una maquina para ser inmortal?: prueba, error y sujetos de prueba).

Sin Emma y sin mansión, Rose no fue contratada por Charles, ni ella ni sus hijas tuvieron un destino fatal, Rose vivió feliz al lado de su esposo.

Y como Emma o Rose no fue aprisionada por Charles, Víctor no nació.

La mayoría de los juegos de la saga Ravenhearst no sucedieron por cambiar el pasado, estos fueron: Ravenhearts, Adame Fate(Fate sigue viva), Retorno a Ravenhearts, Escape de Ravenhearts, Rewind.

Los juegos en donde aparece Alister podrían pasar de forma diferente; en Carnaval de Fate Alister al no saber de su hijo decide atrapar a Fate para conseguir su bola de cristal, MD la rescataría y derrotaría a Alister, en Sacred Grove la historia no cambiaría, los juegos de Key y Unlock se combinarían, Alister haría una guarida en la vieja construcción sin terminar de la mansión, pondría en un hechizo al tipo para que haga un museo de la edad media, conseguiría los materiales y por sus propios hechizos levantaría la ancestral tierra, el MD lo enfrentaría junto al MD de la edad media, Alister pierde, a MD no se le hace la marca con forma de cráneo de cuervo y ya no habrían Dalimars. El que si se combinan o no las historias de los juegos véanlo como quieran.

Los papeles de los casos ya no existirían o su información cambiaría.

¿A MD se le borraran los recuerdos de sus casos relacionados a los Dalimar con el paso del tiempo o no?

A little sketch of Evelyn Ravenhearst.

I was looking through the post from @dalimarisdaddy1967 on the character designs in the new MCF game: A Crime in Reflection and saw Evelyn’s new design. I’ll admit I was surprised with the new design and I had to went back to watch that cutscene in Dalimar Legacy to see if that character at the end was Evelyn (Emma’s great granddaughter).

Anyway I wanted to try drawing both of her character design versions, mostly to see the difference.😅

The Short Part 2 To My Last Post That I Mentioned...

So The Bit Of Thoughts I Had About The Scavenger Hunt Has To Do With The Location Of The 6th Mirror. The 6th Mirror Was Found On The Page For Dalimar Legacy, Amongst The Pictures. Why Is This Important You Ask? Well, It Might Not Necessarily Be But It Also Could Be Cuz Here's What I Think.

I Can't Quote What Was Said Word For Word Since I Haven't Played Dalimar Legacy Since Back In March When It Came Out So Bare With Me Here. The Reason I Think The Placement Of The 6th Mirror On The Dalimar Legacy Page Is Important Is Because I Don't Think We Have Seen Charles Dalimar For The Last Time And Here's Why. At The End Of The Game, When MD Puts An End To Charles' Sinister Plot, Charles Appears And Says Something Like 'You Have May Won This Time But There Are Realities Where I've Won. We Will Be Seeing Each Other Again.' Or Something Similar. Again, I Haven't Played Dalimar Legacy In Like 8 Months So I Am Not 100% Sure On The Exact Phrasing. And Then When MD Goes Back To Their Own Time, The New Headquarters Is The Unfinished Ravenhearst Manor. Like That's Gotta Have Consequences Right? Plus There Was A Post On Facebook From Grandma Games That Implies Repercussions.

This Post Here That I've Made A Post About Before. Specifically The Part In Number 6 That Reads 'Charles Dalimar Is Alive And Will Live Forever! Dalimar Legacy Will Change The World And There Will Be A Lot Of Interesting Things Ahead!'

So How Does That Make Sense With The 6th Mirror Being On Dalimar Legacy? We Could Possibly Encounter Something To Do With Charles Or See What Other Changes Dalimar Legacy Caused To The Timeline. It Is Possibly An Easter Egg!

It will seem strange to many, but I also want to ask a question, because I damn much like your Au and I just became interested. If something had happened, the Archivist would have been able to overcome his ego and would have been able to help the Master Detective (even if this help would not have been good for him. And even if you don't take the case when he helped us in the 22nd part of the game.)?

It’s kinda complicated, I’m still working on how the AU goes 😓. It’s mostly daydreams and writing in docs at this point. Thank you for the question because this allows me to rant more 😅.

So basically my AU is what happens after Dalimar Legacy when the events involving the Charles have never happened. Archivist would still work in MCF agency but would be moved to the new agency (the one where the manor was originally resided but is now rebuilt into the new headquarters of MCF) and that’s where Archivist would (technically) first meet Madelyn. There’s more story involving their first interaction but that’s a secret for now.

He is still mad of his position but his workplace is slightly better than his old one. He still wishes to be a detective but may might change once he started to spends time with Madelyn.

Madelyn (Master Detective) and Archivist will have more of a rival relationship in this AU where they always butted heads and arguing with each other but can work together quite well. Regarding the Archivist’s ego, I’m not sure on that part yet 😅. I know he’s gonna need to go through a long character arc for his part in the story to overcome his huge ego.

This the current one I can think of:

Archivist thinks Madelyn doesn’t deserved the title of “Master Detective” and thinks lowly of her. Madelyn doesn’t like him (due to her memories of him basically trying to kill her) but needed to keep a close eye on him to make sure he doesn’t go villain like before.

As a fun little bonus, I actually sketch out some ideas for AU!Newtimeline Archivist (I really need to think of a name for him 😅)

Part 2 to my last post!

I just wanted to make a quick post about something I noticed that was interesting and thought provoking, at least for me. The Ravenhearst Scavenger Hunt for The Riddle of Mrs. Bishop utilizes the games Dalimar Legacy, Moths To A Flame, & Crossfade whereas the Scavenger Hunt for A Crime In Reflection utilized the games Moths To A Flame, Dalimar Legacy and The Last Resort. What's interesting and thought provoking to me about this is the fact that both Scavenger hunts utilized Dalimar Legacy and Moths To A Flame. That can't be coincidence right? Moths To A Flame is where the green energy started and Dalimar Legacy is where a whole new story arc started. I just feel the green energy isn't gone and will have potentially major consequences and so will this new timeline. It's a lot to think about. What do you guys think? Lemme know!

As shown with the blank lines at the top the code is 15 letters long. I cracked the code! I did the Scavenger Hunt! I found the answers so you don't have to!

The first part of the code is what you fill the deflated airship with. For some reason, Moths To A Flame is put above this part of the code, despite Dalimar Legacy being where you need to look. They had the two switched. The answer to this is Helium!

The second part of the code is the name of animal that is printed on the wallet you received from the first Hidden Object scene at the Museum approach location. It shows Dalimar Legacy but you should look in Moths To A Flame for this answer. The two are switched. The answer is Fish!

The final part of the code is the number of bird skulls you need to unlock Ravenhearst Manor. The answer can be found in Crossfade and it is three!

So... put those three parts together and you get HeliumFishThree which gets you a 60% off coupon for any Standard Version game in the Big Fish Games catalog!

Concept Art Part 1!!!

Yes I said Part 1! There will be two parts due to there being too many images for one post!

I am at a loss for words here! These is a very clear in your face reference to Dalimar Legacy! Oh My God! How?! Up at the top left is Charles pining for Emma. The top middle is Charles and Emma married. Oh he wishes! The top right we've got the Master Detective in Charles' body rescuing Angelica and that other woman whose name I can't remember. Bottom left, we've got Charles making up the poison and then Emma about to drink it. Bottom right we've got the Master Detective in Charles' body giving Emma the antidote! Oh My God! Then off to the right is a raven and a picture of Ravenhearst! Ahhhh!

Here we have some kind of dog attacking the Master Detective and there's red energy. Hmm.

Here we have Mr. Hollow and Richard Bishop hooked up to some kind of machine with red energy shooting off of it and what looks like Angelica off to the side, fiddling with something. What is she doing?! Oh My God!

I don't even know what this could possibly be! It's creepy though! And are those camera feeds?! One of them looks like Ravenhearst aka The New MCF Agency Headquarters! Oooo!

This looks like a silhouette hidden object. But the scene itself is interesting. We've got what looks like a younger Mrs. Agnes Bishop with a large dog but there is also a raven outside the window behind her. Interesting.

Nah... that's not what I think it is. It's too simple in design. It kinda looks like the Ball of Fate but it is probably just a light bulb considering what it is sitting in looks to be a lantern, a very cool and kinda creepy lantern.

So we officially have a release date for The Riddle of Mrs. Bishop!!!

I came across this on pure accident from the Big Fish Games website but the release date is November 26th!!! Not only that, but there will also be promotional things each week leading up to the release!!!

On the 12th, which is this upcoming Tuesday, there will be a Ravenhearst scavenger hunt. This picture shows side by side comparisons of Ravenhearst when it was unfinished in Dalimar Legacy(on the right) and what it looks like now that it is being used as the MCF Agency Headquarters(on the left). What's weird is the line separating the two sides oddly looks like green energy but that problem was supposed to be solved now with the existence of the new timeline, right? Right?! So many questions!!!

On the 19th there will be a search and find, which I'm guessing is another name for a hidden object. Look at all the little tidbits in this image, especially that little raven skull on the left.😳

Finally, the game drops on the 26th!!! Look at Ravenhearst as the agency! Repercussions! I smell repercussions! You can't tell me that using those cursed grounds, albeit them never being fully finished before this, won't have consequences!!!

What's wrong with Mrs. Bishop? What is wrong with her?! She showed up asking for the Master Detective and mentioned Charles! How does this woman know about him?! What is happening?! Ahhhhh!
