Lawmen: Bass Reeves Review
Fans of Westerns and American History will love this mini-series The Legend of Bass Reeves is the story of a Black man forced to fight for the confederacy, who escapes his cruel owner (FYI all slave owners were cruel), is a crack shot, and has a strong will to survive. Bass Reeves (David Oyelowo) is a natural marksman and the series takes us on the journey as he becomes the first U.S. Marshal…

A few more competing chains for your possible world building:
Twindy’s – I hear the Dale’s Singleton Burger is pretty popular.
Waddleburger
Bun in the Oven
Thicc-fill-U
Taco Belly
ULTRASOUND Drive-In
BUMPWAY
I know you may never do anything with these as this isn't the point of the concept, but thinking these up was too much fun. Perhaps they can be used to show that while there are many imitators out there, McPreggo is the original and the best.
I gotta give credit, I didn't really think there were that many preg-kink-fast-food name combinations to make but I applaud your creativity. Taco Belly in particular just makes me wish someone would do a pseudo-Mexican fast food spinoff menu since that opens up a whole new branch of foods that my menu doesn't touch (yeah there's a breakfast burrito but that's not the same).
This is like a pitch meeting for a new MCU. McPreggo Cinematic Universe.

For the longest time I think it seemed to be the collective Barchie conscious that Betty and Archie having bare minimum one kid and it being a son named after Fred.
There was even subtle hints in the show that they would have a boy… Archie talking about how if in the future he was lucky enough to have a son of his own and then when Toni gave birth how they specifically had Betty and Archie standing together along with them being the only two to look at each other while everyone looked at Kevin and Cheryl.
Then we still were atleast on the minimum one baby train with the whole 6x01 arc of Vale Betty seemingly getting pregnant with the firm belief it was a boy. While at the same time interweaving the possibility of adoption in their storyline. With their struggle in however long the Vale timeline for 6x01 was supposed to have been since they began dating.
~ I believe that with that timeline for 6x01 it was that they had got together after the time jump whether it was after the FWB or just began dating as the viewer was in some way lead to believe they were together for somewhat a longer time than we realize. As we were in a sense given context clues that they weren’t actively trying to get pregnant but not at all preventing it from happening. So much so that Betty tries to seek out answers to her fertility without seemingly Archie knowing which adds to the idea that she expected to be pregnant by that point.
But then of course that storyline evolves to the loss of the pregnancy… and then by the end of the episode Betty promises Toni that she would care for Anthony even though Kevin and Fangs are very much alive. As it then adds another layer to the possibility of adoption storyline.
Then we get to the pregnancy scare storyline, which them makes us reflect on what they could have only to be introduced with a very real possibility of them having twins. Then to be introduced with Carla at the end of the series as their daugther… hehe
I do think they went with the twin avenue considering it would be reflective of their true comic counterparts having a set of twins. Even though I can very much see a reality where they have a few singleton pregnancies.
Betty and Archie having their son be the oldest of the family makes a lot of sense. As everyone expects them to have a son first. I am one of them myself tbh.
I do think that Betty would in some way whether planned or by coincidence would have birth at home for at-least one. The two of them having to do that together and deepen their closeness with each other… they would just fall deeper in love with each other. Afterwards them being in the newborn bubble and incredibly proud of themselves that they could do it.
Many many thoughts when talking about the story arc of how they could do a variety of ways Betty and Archie become parents…
So many thoughts here I agree with. And I obviously love some Barchie baby talk :)
A lot of what you mentioned went into my thought/intentions for each of the Barchie babies in Moving Toward the Light:
Freddie, the oldest boy. Foreshadowed a lot and the clear next member of the Andrews line (Fred, Archie, Freddie). Betty’s first baby that helped her overcome her darkness; a mini Archie that is an extension of the light Archie provides Betty with.
The twins next as a tribute to the comics and the general twin theme on the show. But I chose to build in the theme of loss (as seen in Vale) where they lost one twin, however I wrote that to also lead to their pursuit of adoption.
Next we have Carla, who is adopted as the finale alludes to (although we know the truth hehe). She fulfills the adoption storyline as a fun tribute to the 50s. Though she wasn’t their biological daughter in the Season 6 timeline, they still found a way to her.
Lastly, we have Elizabeth Joy. She’s the lil Betty counterpart to lil Freddie. Both are mirrors of their parents. She’s also the redemption child after loss. I see both Dale/Vale Barchie loving having kiddos once they get started so they’d naturally end up with a couple, including a surprise oops miracle baby. Lastly, the fic mentions EJ was an unexpected home birth, which created the bonding experience you mention!
All that to say, I see Barchie having a family in every lifetime and I’m so glad we got to see that manifested in different plots. Regardless of how long they’d been together in Vale, it’s clear they’d naturally end up walking that path to a family no matter what!
As for the Season 6 what-if fic I’m drafting, I’m still thinking through single Freddie (for the reasons listened above) or shaking it up a little bc why not. My goal is to find a way for it to be meaningful to the story and a litttleeee different than what I’ve written before. We’ll see what I decide upon :)

The Top Things to Do in Charlotte, NC Neighborhoods
Introduction
Charlotte is a city of many faces and personalities. It's the hometown of sports icons, like NASCAR legend Dale Earnhardt Sr. and NBA great Larry Brown, as well as music superstars like John Michael Montgomery and The Band Perry. Charlotte has seen plenty of ups and downs in its history—from the Great Depression to the latest recession—but it has consistently rebounded stronger than ever before with each new economic downturn. In fact, 2019 is shaping up to be one of Charlotte's best years yet for tourism thanks to a number of exciting new attractions opening their doors this year:
The Mint Museum of Art
The Mint Museum of Art is the largest art museum in the Carolinas and one of the best in the Southeast. It houses over 30,000 objects, including European and American paintings, sculptures, decorative arts, and photographs.
The collection includes works by such artists as John Singleton Copley (1738-1815), Thomas Gainsborough (1727-88), and James McNeill Whistler (1834-1903). There are also special exhibits featuring contemporary artists from around the world that change every few months or so--last year's featured an installation by Japanese artist Yayoi Kusama called "Infinity Mirrors: The Universe Within You."
The Billy Graham Library and Museum
The Billy Graham Library and Museum is a must-see for any religious or history buff. Located in Charlotte, North Carolina, this beautiful brick building holds more than 40 million items related to the life of Billy Graham and his ministry. Visitors can walk through exhibits that chronicle his life as well as his work around the world. You'll also be able to see items from presidents like Richard Nixon, Lyndon Johnson, and Ronald Reagan; celebrities such as Bob Hope, Elvis Presley, and Muhammad Ali; other well-known preachers such as Charles Stanley and T.D Jakes; historical artifacts like letters written by George Washington during the Revolutionary War; Bibles dating back hundreds of years (including one owned by Thomas Jefferson); paintings done by Michelangelo Buonarroti himself!
While there are many things we could list off about this amazing place (and trust us when we say it would take hours), here are our top five reasons why you should visit The Billy Graham Library & Museum:
NASCAR Hall of Fame and Convention Center
The NASCAR Hall of Fame and Convention Center is located in Uptown Charlotte, and it's the perfect place to learn more about NASCAR. The museum features exhibits on everything from racing history and technology to driver profiles and race cars. There are also interactive exhibits that let you try your hand at driving a car, designing a race car, or even getting up close with some famous race cars!
The museum is open seven days a week from 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM (closed on Thanksgiving Day). Tickets cost $19 for adults and $14 for children ages 3-12; children under 2 years old are free with an adult ticket purchase.
N.C. Music Factory and Verizon Wireless Amphitheatre at Encore Park
Concerts and music festivals: N.C. Music Factory is home to several live events each year, including concerts by artists like Drake and Maroon 5. Other popular venues include Verizon Wireless Amphitheatre at Encore Park and PNC Music Pavilion Charlotte.
Indoor/outdoor venues: You can catch a show at one of these indoor venues or head outside for some fresh air with your favorite band!
Food, drinks, shopping: You won't go hungry while enjoying your favorite artist in Charlotte--there are plenty of restaurants nearby where you can grab food before or after the show!
Discovery Place Children's Museum and IMAX theater
Discovery Place Children's Museum and IMAX theater
Located in Uptown Charlotte, this hands-on science center is open daily. The museum has an aquarium, planetarium, Discovery Center, and theater with immersive films and 3D glasses to view them. You can also see what it's like to be an astronaut or explore outer space while learning about your body as well as the animals and plants of our world.
For more information visit discoveryplacecmuseum.org
Noda
Noda is located in the heart of Uptown Charlotte and serves Japanese and Korean cuisine. The restaurant has a great atmosphere, with dim lighting and a variety of seating options for couples, groups or even solo diners. Noda also offers late-night hours that make it ideal for those who want to grab dinner after a show at The Blumenthal Performing Arts Center or another event at the nearby Spectrum Center.
The happy hour menu offers several unique cocktails as well as small plates such as edamame hummus ($5), pork belly tacos ($8), or spicy tuna rolls ($6).
Villa Heights
Villa Heights is a neighborhood in Charlotte, North Carolina. It's located about 10 miles from Uptown Charlotte and is one of the city's oldest neighborhoods.
The area is known for its Victorian architecture and small-town feel, but it also has plenty of restaurants, bars, and shops that make it a popular place to live for young professionals looking for an urban lifestyle without having to deal with all of the traffic or noise associated with living in downtown areas like Uptown or NoDa (North Davidson).
Conclusion
Charlotte is a great city to visit, and it has so much to offer. From museums and amusement parks to concerts and festivals, there is something for everyone. We hope this list has inspired you to plan your next trip!

❤️ Tanille and my classmates in Infant/Toddler Environment class Creative Activities class made me a card today. I was absent on Tuesday to be at Grandpa’s funeral. It’s been a little difficult to adjust to what has changed after Grandpa’s passing. Yet, with Thanksgiving approaching, I am very thankful to have another supportive college family at Lake Land. It’s been an adventure since day one, but I feel very lucky to have a supportive and creative group to be a part of too. I will also be forever thankful to have Grandpa be a part of my life and everyone else’s lives. Of course, Grandpa also made a difference in the lives of those who knew of him and knew him as well. I’m still feeling blue about losing Grandpa that Friday last week, but God is helping me keep my mind at ease. I’m also praying he does the same for everyone else.
