THE COMPLETED CARPETBUG! MIRACLE BOX 📦

After drawing all the kwamis individually, I knew I needed to make a miracle box to put them all together! Some symbols were a bit more tedious to draw than others, but I’m very happy with it and how cohesive it looks :)

the biggest of thank yous to everyone who enjoyed the little kwamis series! I started doing it simply because I figured out a way I liked one day, and focusing on replicating the kwamis while adding my own designs really helped me push through art block 🩷 All the kind words and comments mean more than I can say. Teehee this is sorta silly but yeah! Thank you and I love kwamis and I love that you guys love my kwamis 🫶

Zodiac Heroes Poll: Pig Miraculous

Another idea I kinda want to play around with and plan for is the chaos of Fu only having the Chinese Zodiac and he releases them all to spite and deal with HM, cause how dare he misuse a Miraculous.

Only there are 12 heroes and a struggle to decide who gets what as possibilities are endless. I have tried and just kept going back and forth and constantly changed my mind.

So for fun, let's do them in polls! I'll be doing three a week, and provide links to other polls as they get released.

Choose very carefully, as each Zodiac will have a variety of potential characters to use it. What character wins in this poll is what they get and that option is removed from future polls.

Mouse, Ox, Tiger, Rabbit, Dragon, Snake, Horse, Goat, Monkey, Rooster, Dog

Pig Miraculous has the power Hognitive, granting the user the ability of telekinesis. Take caution that lifting anything heavy or a large quantity of objects will be a mental strain.

Daizzi is lazy, gluttonous, a little selfish, and incredibly sharp. He's the sort that likes to be overlooked to get out of work, but it there's a demand for it, he won't hide away his wit and get involved. Holding himself to a higher intellect, he does slightly look down on humans, seeing them things to "own", which has made him to be inconsiderate and rude at times to a human's feelings and not always getting why they do what they do.

Daizzi was one of the few canon kwamis I've been wanting to redo, specifically to give him hooves like I did for the rest of his box, making them slightly heart-shaped too like I did for other aspects in his design. :)

Happy Pig Day!

Rejoice! Today is Pig Day and we’re thinking about the always joyful holder of the Pig Miraculous, Rose Lavillant, and her kwami, Daizzi!

What are some of your favorite moments that feature Rose and/or Daizzi?

I was just watching Jubiliation again and I saw Daizzi looking at Monarch like this:

But he just completely ignored her and used her powers AND after that, she was looking like she was dying and he just fed her something that looked like cat litter. He is a monster. He must die.

One of the things I did in my rewrite was change the miracle box to cut down on character bloat and to let me balance the lore. It meant getting rid of Kwami that I liked, but whose powers didn't really make for a compelling story/good lore. Now that we have polls, I'm very curious to see who would agree with my choices and who would argue that other powers should have been kept.

I'm limited to 10 slots, so I broke this into two posts and tried to balance the lists as best I could in terms of Kwami popularity. If this goes over well, I'll do a run off once the polls end. Also, making this made me realize that Nooroo and Duusu don't actually have names for their powers. Like, nothing gets shouted. The power activates THEN something is said.
