I think Droid Sonic deserves a service animal after all he's been through
(Angst warning ⚠️)
Since Sonic fell into the Android Copier, the Cyber components and software were not matched to his brain and nervous system correctly.
Sonic's nervous system is not compatible with the Droid components now fused to his body. They don't interface and work together, which lead to glitches, and in worse cases, short circuits... better recognized as blackouts and fainting spells. Sonic could be standing perfectly still, and in the next second, his body fails him, and he's on the ground, out of it or unconscious. The short circuits affect his heart rhythm, leading to an arrhythmia and low blood pressure, which causes the fainting. It's difficult to tell when these episodes occur, as the 'misfires' happen seemingly at random.
Then Sonic experienced an episode out in public one day. A service dog in training alerted to the danger accordingly and was able to prevent Sonic from getting more injured when it happened. Since the dog had successfully alerted to the medical emergency, it gave Team Sonic the idea for a service animal for future events until Tails can successfully turn Sonic back.
Sonic now has a service dog, a gorgeous basset hound called Daisy.

Describe yourself using images already on your device without searching for and downloading more.
I don’t keep very many memes or aesthetic images on my phone, so this is what I got. It may not be many, but it is extremely accurate.

When she was a puppy, Daisy invented a game where she shoves her orange squeaky ball under a piece of furniture. She then throws herself down on the floor dramatically and screams until someone gets the ball for her.
Can you guess what happens next?
Yep. She immediately shoves the ball back under the couch and starts crying again.
It's her favorite game.

Do the ROs have any pets?
Croft is the only RO who has their own pet. They have a young tuxedo cat named Bones. They adore her--they actually adopted her from the local shelter, which was the first time they formally met Jay. Jay doesn't have any pets of their own, but their mom has an elderly basset hound named Daisy that their little sister brings over to their place whenever Dr. Jones pulls overnight shifts at the hospital. In between Daisy and the animals at the shelter Jay gets a lot of animal time in...even though they would love a dog of their own.

ETERNAL ECHOES
I
Toward dark blue skies, endlessly, Where topaz seas shimmer bright, In your evening, blooms ecstasy - The lilies, pills of pure delight.
In our age where plants must toil, Lilies drink blue distaste divine, From your religious prose, they'll coil, Fleur-de-lys, for bards to twine.
Lilies, lilies, none in view, Yet in your verse, sleeves of sin, Soft-footed women, pure as dew, White flowers shiver within.
Always, dear man, when you bathe, Your shirt with yellow 'neath your arm, Swelling in the breeze, and wave, Above forget-me-nots, the harm.
Love comes to you in lilac's guise, Wild violets too, nymphs' delight, Sugary spittle on lips, belies, Dark passions on a moonlit night.
II
Oh, Poets, imagine you possessed Roses, crimson Roses, blooming bright, Adorning laurel stems, at their best, With thousand octaves swelling in delight!
If Banville could make them snow, Tainted red, swirling, in a frenzy, Blackening the eyes of those who show Ill-disposed interpretations, not friendly!
In your forests and in meadows so calm, Oh, peaceful photographers, Flora thrives, Decanters' stoppers no different in charm, Than varied veggies with cross-grained lives!
Phthisical and absurd, they seem to be, Navigated by basset-hounds at dusk, After frightening drawings we see, Of lotuses or sunflowers blue, so brusque!
Pink prints and holy pictures we behold, For young girls making their communion, Asoka Ode agrees with Loretto's window old, Heavy vivid butterflies dung on daisy's union!
Old greenery and galloons, fancy-flowers, Vegetable biscuits of yore's drawing-rooms, For cockchafers, not rattlesnakes, like powers, Pulling vegetable dolls with colors, like in cartoons!
Grandville would have put them round the margins, To suck in colors from ill-natured stars, Drooling from your shepherd's pipes, in wondrous fashions, Creating priceless glucoses, like fried eggs in hold hats, so bizarre!
Lilies, Asokas, lilacs, and roses, in a pile, Inspirations for poets, like me, all the while!
III
white Hunter, running sockingless Across the panic Pastures, Can you not, ought you not To know your botany a little? I'm afraid you'd make succeed, To russet Crickets, Cantharides, And Rio golds to blues of Rhine, - In short, to Norways, Floridas: But, My dear Chap, Art does not consist now, - it's the truth, - in allowing To the astonishing Eucalyptus boa-constrictors a hexameter long; There now!... As if Mahogany Served only, even in our Guianas, As helter-skelters for monkeys, Among the heavy vertigo of the lianas! - In short, is a Flower, Rosemary Or Lily, dead or alive, worth The excrement of one sea-bird? Is it worth a solitary candle-drip? - And I mean what I say! You, even sitting over there, in a Bamboo hut, - with the shutters Closed, and brown Persian rugs for hangings, - You would scrawl blossoms Worthy of extravagant Oise!... - Poet ! these are reasonnings No less absurd than arrogant!...
IV
Speak not of pampas in the spring, Black with terrible revolts and strife, But of tobacco, cotton trees that sing, Exotic harvests, a fruitful life.
Say, white face, tanned by Phoebus' rays, How many dollars Pedro Velasquez earns, Of Habana, a city that displays, Excrement covering Sorrento's seas in turns.
Where swans go in thousands to roam, Let your lines campaign, oh poet bold, For clearing mangrove swamps, a home To pools and water-snakes so cold.
Your quatrain plunges into bloody thickets, And returns with subjects great and grand, White sugar, bronchial lozenges, and rubbers, tickets To the land of plenty, a fruitful land.
Tell us, oh hunter, if the yellownesses Of snow peaks near the tropics, hide Insects that lay many eggs or microscopic lichens, And scented madder plants, two or three, provide.
Nature in trousers may cause them to bloom, For our armies, strong and brave, On the outskirts of the Sleeping Wood, assume Flowers, with snouts, drip golden pomades on buffaloes' cave.
Find in wild meadows, where the bluegrass shivers, The silver of downy growths, Calyxes full of fiery eggs, livers Cooking among the essential oils.
Find downy thistles whose wool, Ten asses with glaring eyes, labor to spin, Flowers that are chairs, a beautiful tool, And gem-like tonsils close to pale ovaries within.
Find flowers in coal-black seams, Almost like stones, so marvelous and bright, Close to their hard pale ovaries in dreams, Bearing gemlike tonsils, shining in light.
Serve us, oh stuffer, on a vermilion plate, Stews of syrupy lilies, a delicacy divine, To corrode our German-silver spoons, a fate Worthy of kings, in a color so fine.

Poet's Notes:
Firstly, analyzing the poem from the perspective of a poet, I would observe that it is a complex piece with vibrant language and a robust structure. The thematic clusters around nature, colors, and the exploration of human passions are presented with a combination of ordinary and extraordinary imagery. The author makes use of creative metaphorical devices, intertwining nature and human experiences in a unique way.
The piece exhibits a considerable degree of intertextuality, referencing multiple literary figures and creations, which enriches the reading experience by providing additional layers of meaning. The poem also appears to take a critical look at artistic endeavors and societal expectations, seen in lines like "Phthisical and absurd, they seem to be."
Furthermore, the author creates juxtapositions between beautiful, appealing images and harsh, distasteful ones. This could be interpreted as a commentary on the paradoxes of life, with its mixture of pleasure and pain, beauty and ugliness.
From a Jungian perspective, this poem could be analyzed using the concepts of the collective unconscious and archetypes. Many of the images used - like lilies, roses, the evening, moonlit night, hunters - can be seen as archetypal symbols that resonate with universal human experiences.
The poem explores the interplay between the conscious and the unconscious mind. For instance, the verse "Dark passions on a moonlit night" could be read as an acknowledgment of the shadow archetype, the darker, unconscious aspects of the personality that are often repressed.
Moreover, the poem explores the dichotomy between order and chaos, symbolized by the cultivated flowers and the wild forest. This dichotomy could be seen as a representation of the tension between the ego and the unconscious.
The use of botanical metaphors throughout the poem might be seen as a manifestation of the Anima/Animus archetype, representing the feminine principle within the masculine unconscious, or vice versa. The presence of female figures such as nymphs and "Soft-footed women, pure as dew" would support this interpretation.
Finally, the closing lines of the poem, with the "corrode our German-silver spoons," suggests an ultimate dissolution or transformation, akin to the Jungian process of individuation, where one achieves a harmonious balance between all aspects of the psyche.

Chantel never claimed to be good at reading people - quite the opposite actually in most senses - yet there was a bit of a shift in mood when the other straightened himself. Not in a bad way she'd assume, but a shift was there; Chantel of course only responded with a smile which only grew when he stated he didn't want to interrupt anything. "Never an interruption around here, doll." she smiled. "We'll always gladly take all the help we can get, no questions asked." she refrained from stating it would be likely they wouldn't even notice it wasn't a normal hire at first; that didn't feel like appropriate information to mention. Smiling she looked over her shoulder at the sibling duo and nodded. "I certainly like to think so but I may be a little biased." she laughed. It was only at the mention of the birds again that she found herself looking down at Merigold and Daisy, watching as they squawked, running away as they were chased by Chantel and Charlie's newest dog, a basset hound puppy named Teddy. "Oh come on, Ted, don't tease your sisters like that.." she scolded, watching as the dog chased the ducks, only getting distracted by something a moment later once the ducks were out of reach. "Bird fears are a very real thing." Chantel nodded. "I obviously don't understand it, but, it seems to be a real thing." @caelxmontgomery
Cael straightened himself, having a boyish sense of being caught with his hand in the cookie jar, even if he had just been observing how she had been handling the horses." Hey." Clearing his throat, he momentarily tilted his head to the side, having pondered the idea before but kept himself from acting out on it. He was perfectly aware people found him intimidating. Last thing he wanted was approach a woman who didn't know him on a name basis that was by herself, even if his intention had been a good one. "I don't want to interrupt anything." He told her, which wasn't a lie but evidently not the full reason. "Nice names." He told her, especially finding himself being piqued by the name Serene. He looked down at the ducks when she mentioned them, taking a small step aside so he could get a better look. "People are scared of birds?" He didn't mean to sound harsh, he'd just never heard of that before. @chantelbedford

Today’s #Daisies and Daffodolls prompt is all about cute, baby animals! Well…cute, at least, as most of my girls’ pets are far too old (IRL and/or in story) to be considered ‘babies’ anymore, but they’re still the girl’s babies, at least!
Holly: Horatio (a kitten in their story, but seen here in his full-grown size, I guess? One of the few Webkinz I kept.)
Alex: Ginger (Her family’s old, old cat. Actually the second-oldest toy I own, a Beanie Baby that has to be close to 25 years old, by this point…)
Maddie: Licorice (Her big, black dog of unspecified breed in story; IRL my beloved black lab from Build-A-Bear, himself pushing close to 20 years old…)
Kit: Grace (the two newest to me, but Grace is no puppy in the story. Still, she’s a cutie, and when I found a second-hand Kit that came with Grace, I leapt at the chance!)

Sonic Droid is not allowed near tables for his own safety, can't have his head crack open on the table
That would actually be pretty stifling for him, unnecessarily so.
This is the entire reason Sonic has Daisy. She alerts when a blackout is incoming, so Sonic knows to get on the floor as quickly as he can to prevent injury. Granted, sometimes they are sudden, and there is no time to prepare, but Daisy does her job as his service dog well.
But keeping Sonic away from certain commonplace things when there are already measures in place would be more hurtful than helpful. He's still Sonic the Hedgehog after all, and his independence and freedom is still extremely important to him.

Hey guys
So, I know it’s been like a year since you’ve seen or heard anything from me, but I’d like to ask you guys for a favor.
I need help finding somebody. A dog, not one I own, but one I had hoped to own and came so close to owning.
She’s a basset hound named Daisy Mae/May (the shelter and the website had different spellings) and she was being fostered through a shelter in Fenton, Michigan. She has a scar on her right ear, she’s four years old, her favorite toy is a stuffed lamb called Lambchop, and I think she came from Kentucky. My mom and I went out to visit her on Friday, May 17, 2019 and set it up with the foster to come back on Sunday to formally adopt her (my mom had a wedding rehearsal to attend and the actual wedding the next day, so we didn’t have enough time for the adoption interview Friday)
Through a series of disappointing events/decisions, she ended up going to an adoption event at the Detroit Zoo in Detroit, Michigan on Saturday, May 18 and got adopted there. It’s not really anybody’s fault in particular, just a lack of communication it sounds like.
I’m hoping you guys might be able to help me find out who adopted her.
I’m not looking to take Daisy May away from them or make anybody feel bad about anything that’s happened, but part of what’s hurting so bad about this is not knowing where she ended up. That’s all I want to know. Knowing where she is and that whoever got her really loves her I think will help me feel a little better.
We lost my dog of nine years last year to cancer. When I met Daisy May, it really felt like she filled a hole I thought had healed over at least a little. It sounds cliché and cheesy, I know. But I really connected to her. I felt whole again. Within ten minutes of meeting her, I knew I loved her and wanted her more than anything in the world. There was no hesitation, no feeling like I wouldn’t care about her as much as I care about our other dog.
When I found out she’d been adopted by someone else, I went home and locked myself in my room to cry, and then did the same thing again later after failing to take my mind off it. I actually went to my mom because I needed to be held - I never ask for that. Not even a night’s sleep has dulled the pain very much. I still can’t thing about anything else. Last night I told God I’d give up Skyrim and that he could cancel The Elder Scrolls series if it meant things could be changed (and I LOVE the Elder Scrolls like I used to love Supernatural).
To be honest, my hopes aren’t super high for this, but I’m still going to try and would appreciate any assistance you guys could give. Reblogging, asking your Michigan friends, anything. Like I said, I am not out to take her away or make anyone hurt, I’m just looking for some peace of mind.
You guys are the best.
Love, Angel.
