Hey, love your work :) Maybe you could write something for Eddie along the lines of him having a crush on the reader, but thinking the reader and Graham are in a relationship bc they are so close, but the reader also has a huge crush on Eddie and they have some sort of fight or talk, where they realise they both have a crush on each other :)

a/n: yesyesyes! Thank you so much by the way, I try :,). I've never written something like this before, so give me a chance here. Some slight deviations from the story we know and love. Thank you for the prompt <3 sorry it took like 5 months to get it done!!
─── ・ 。゚☆: . . :☆゚. ─── ➶ ─── ・ 。゚☆: . . :☆゚. ───
Graham’s arm wrapped around your shoulder, pulling you against him as you lounged on the couch together, whispering like you usually did. You whispered something to him, making him laugh so loud that Eddie could hardly keep pretending to focus on the TV set. He rolled his eyes, readjusting himself on the love seat as he tried to drown out the laughter of you and Graham.
“You know, there’s rooms all over this house you two could go to if you need some time alone.” Warren laughed, teasing the two before sliding himself down next to Eddie, pushing his legs off.
Eddie couldn’t help but glare at him, rubbing at his temple. A few hours ago he had felt so good, so refreshed when you came walking through the door, bags in hand for a two week visit from upper Cali. Eddie had been home with Warren, watching some sitcom, bored out of his mind. When he saw you standing in the doorway he almost knocked you over by how quickly he wrapped his arms around you, burying his face in the crook of your neck.
“God, I’ve missed you.” He sighed, pulling away enough to look you right in the eye.
You couldn’t help but look away in an attempt to hide the heat rising in your cheeks. You smiled, taking in the way his fingers pushed against you, the way he carried this glint in his eye that you swore he held only for you. “Could say the same for you.”
Warren entered the room with open arms asking where his hug was. You placed a hand on Eddie’s cheek before pulling away to give Warren a much more casual hug. You’d spend a few hours with the two, mostly answering questions asked about what you had been up to, if you’d been booked lately, how long you would be around. Then the Dunne brothers had arrived and Graham had all but scooped you off the couch, the two of you laughing and quick to fall into step in order to catch up on everything you’d missed while being away.
So now Eddie was stomping around the house like some big kid, making his annoyance known. And you picked up on it, watching from your peripheral as he paced around the kitchen, picking at the leftovers in the counter and cold beers in the fridge.
Graham leaned over to you, poking at your shoulder before whispering another joke into your ear that made you giggle.
“I’m going for a smoke.” Eddie muttered, slamming the fridge shut and walking out to the balcony. You bit your lip as he walked out, contemplating if you could go join him.
You went to the kitchen and grabbed a beer. Warren waltzed in and grabbed a box of cereal, pouring a bit into his hand and giving you a goofy smile.
“Hey, need help?” He pointed at the bottle in your hands which you handed to him gladly, glancing out the back door to Eddie who was leaning against the railing, the cigarette glowing a soft red against the low light.
“He’s had the biggest crush on you forever y’know?” Warren laughed, popping the lid of the bottle and returning back to his cereal.
You whipped your head around to look at Warren, eyes wide. “What?”
You asked, trying to figure out if you may have been hearing things. Warren was high, that's why he was eating cereal out of his hand and giggling like a mad man.
“Dude, you’ve never wondered why he always looks like a ray of sunshine everytime you come around? Or why is he the first one to get up and hug you like it’s the last time he’ll do it?” Warren shook his head, grinning. “That’s not just because he wants to.” Warren walked away, leaving you to consider what he told you.
One one hand, he was high, and giggly with or without the leaf. On the other hand, there was something about the way Eddie held you, the way he kept you near him even if some model or groupie had her arm slung around him.
Eddie looked back, quickly straightened up when he saw you coming through the door, smiling softly when you leaned against him. The two of you remained silent until you plucked the cigarette out of his hand, taking a hit of it before stomping it out under your foot.
“Those things will kill you, you know?” You asked, looking up at him. He smiled down at you and motioned towards the beer.
“You aren’t doing much better, how long do you think casting directors will let you get away with the drinking?” He teased, referring to the booked shoots you had told him and Warren about.
Your smile faltered a bit, something he was quick to pick up on. “What’s wrong love?”
“Oh Eddie,” you teared up but quickly wiped them away and bit your lip to try and deter the tears, “I haven’t gotten booked in months. My mom’s threatening to send my brothers to come get me, doesn’t want me to be up here anymore, not if I’m not working.”
“Why didn’t you say anything?” He asked, eyebrows furrowed as he hesitated to wrap his arms around you. You leaned against him, tears still rolling softly. His hands ran themselves against your hair, doing his best to comfort you. “Does Graham know?”
You nodded a yes. “It doesn’t matter. He thinks it would be good for me to see my family for a bit, and maybe stay there. I was never made for the California lifestyle like you guys.”
Eddie scoffed, shaking his head. He pulled away from you, walking back towards the balcony. “Well that’s a shitty thing. Why would he encourage you to go back? Doesn’t he love you enough to try and keep you here, help you anyway he can?”
“You guys have so much going on with the band- I mean you’re on the brink of hitting it big, I don’t wanna be a bother either.”
“No.” Eddie walked back to you, gently taking your arms into his hands as he held you softly. “You could never be a bother okay? Not to me, never. I-” He hesitated, choosing his next words carefully. “I’d do anything to have you stay by my side. Anything.”
Your breath hitched. For a second you forgot that you and Eddie weren’t alone. You forgot that a few feet away your friends sat drinking and smoking and that the balcony wasn’t your own oasis to share with the boy you were sure you had loved since you were 16, the first time he performed on a stage that wasn’t set up in someone’s backyard and there had been something more than just a passion for the music.
“Eddie…I really like you.” You smiled, watching his face for any kind of reaction.
His eyebrows furrowed and he stepped back slightly. How could you say that? How could you admit that you had feelings when your boyfriend was sitting feet away from the two of you. “What about Graham?” he asked, eyebrows furrowed.
You follow suit, looking back at the house then back at Eddie. “Why do you keep asking about him?”
Eddie stayed silent, a blush rising to his face as he pushed his hair out of his face, looking out towards the city. “I thought the two of you were going steady.”
You stood there not really sure how to react. You wanted to laugh, ask him if that’s why he’d been so sour the minute the Dunne’s had arrived. But the more overwhelming sense in you wanted to grab him and kiss him, show him that you and Graham had never been anything but best friends and that he’d been the one you thought about late at night. Eddie was the one that you had dreams and hopes for, more so than the boys you’d known since birth.
And so you did. Before you even knew it you captured Eddie’s lips against your own, your hand resting gently against his cheek as his hands found their way against the small of your back. And he smiled. He smiled against your lips like he was the happiest man in the world. When you both pulled away you looked up at him but his eyes remained closed.
“What’s wrong?” “Just scared I’ll open them and it’ll be a dream.”
You laughed, hitting against his chest softly. “Why didn’t you say anything?” “Was worried about losing you.”
“Hey”, you wrapped your arms around his shoulders. He looked down at you, his arms finding their way around your body, like it was the most natural thing to him. “Not one person is more important to me than you.”

Eddie Roundtree x Fem!Reader: Dating the Dunne Sister
You're Billy's twin and Graham's sister:)
Y/N = Your First Name Dunne = Your Last Name Narrator = Julia Dunne (but Narrator for sake of the story)
**** the timeline is going to seem weird lol but I'm just writing what I want to write lol
Tumblr media
Narrator: Could you just introduce yourself, Auntie? Y/N: Of course, sweetie. Hi, I'm Y/N! I'm Billy's twin sister and Graham's older sister. Narrator: Could you tell us what growing up with Graham and Billy was like? Y/N: Sure, I can. My mother, Marlene, was kind and protective of us. She wanted us to have a good life and at first, she hated that my brothers wanted to pursue music. She didn't see the point in it. But when she heard them and saw their love of music, she was all in and even would make band t-shirts for all the moms. Hank, well, Billy idolized him. I thought he was cool, but something felt off about him. He disappeared and it didn't really matter to me because my mom raised me not him. I was fine. Billy was always controlling and stubborn, but I still loved him. He took over Graham's band by his third practice with them. I listened to them occasionally and they were talented. Eddie, Warren, and Chuck only saw me as Billy's twin so they stayed away from me. They thought that if they even talked to me, Billy would be mad. I once tried to audition for their band and Billy said they had no need for a female voice then said that my style of music didn't fit with them. Graham told me once that if it was his band, he would've let me stay. They were annoying and I spent many of my teenage years mad at them for not letting me join. Eddie: For the record, I do think we should have let Y/N join the band. She was a talented singer and she had this effortless groove as she sang. It made you want to keep watching and never stop. Billy: I don't regret telling Y/N she couldn't join. Not at all.
Narrator: So, could you tell everyone how you were the reason that the Six got their record deal? Y/N: I don't think I would say that. Narrator: Everyone else did. Y/N: Oh well then, that's really nice of them... So I moved to Los Angeles right when I graduated high school for college. I wanted to move away from my family and this California college offered me financial aid to afford tuition. So I studied business management and got a real estate license for California. As I studied for my degree, I needed a creative outlet, so I joined a band with my friends and we had small gigs at bars or on campus every weekend. I usually sang or played guitar, but I could also play the keyboard and clarinet if we needed it. The other members of the band were 3 girls that I met in my astronomy class. We became instant friends and named our group the Sista Sirens because we loved Greek mythology. We wanted to explore different genres, so we played a bit of everything! We sang rock covers or popular songs at bars when it started getting crowded to keep people interested or tipping. It worked well in our favor and we were discovered by Teddy Price of Runner Records. He signed us and we started creating an album. That's around when my brothers told me they were moving to Los Angeles to pursue their music. I hadn't even told them that I had started pursuing music because well, I was nervous. So they showed up and they started playing some gigs. I would attend a few and sit front row cheering them on. I told Teddy that they had real potential and a new sound, which intrigued him. I sent Teddy their way and they managed to get an audition. Narrator: How did they take the news that you pursued music and had a record deal? Y/N: They were proud and jealous. When they found out, they were calm and cool. Later, Billy was upset that I was stealing his thunder and about how he wanted to work for his record deal not get it because of me. I didn't think it mattered because the audition didn't automatically mean a record deal, he still had to win Teddy over. I was just helping him get his foot in the door and this audition meant he could get closer to living his dream of performing music live for big crowds. The rest of the band had no problem with me helping them out.
Your plan to reveal your record deal and music career was simple: Before the audition started for the Dunne Brothers, the Sista Sirens would be rehearsing and you'd play your music as they walked in to surprise them. You hear Teddy from the sound booth exclaim, "Ok, so we have the Dunne Brothers standing with me in the booth now. Sista Sirens, let's hear track one from the top to show this group the talent of Runner Records." You count off your band and play your first song. Teddy says, "Amazing job, that's it for your rehearsal today. I think we have a solid take here. Y/N, come on back!" You place your guitar in its case and carry it into the sound booth, where your siblings stare at you with their mouths wide open in shock. You laugh, settle your case next to you, and say, "Hi, brothers." Billy moves forward to hug you first then Graham. Warren then hugs you followed by Eddie. Eddie says as he hugs you, "I suppose we have you to thank for this. Thank you." You nod and smile. At least someone knew to be thankful. You notice a girl standing with them and ask, "Hi, I'm Y/N Dunne. What's your name?" She answers, "Karen Sirko and I play the keyboard. Nice to meet another Dunne." Teddy says, "You know, Y/N talked you all up. She said you had real potential and a new sound. She's in one of my most promising bands, so I can't wait to hear your sound. You have her to thank for this and I only heard one thank you from your lot. This is not a good start." You laugh and say, "And it wasn't from my brothers, so thank you, Eddie. And brothers, I love you." You notice Eddie blush and smile. Warren shoves him and you laugh. You love this band even if they can be difficult.
While the Dunne Brothers set up, you tell Teddy, "Their name is confusing, don't you think?" He laughs and says, "It is. Two of them are Dunnes and the rest are not. By the way, why didn't you join the band?" You answer, "I actually auditioned, but Billy said I couldn't join. He didn't want a female voice and he thought my music didn't match with the music he wanted to play. I also don't like their leadership styles... and I don't think siblings plus work are a good combo." He laughs and asks, "Good to know. Are you staying?" You answer, "No, the Sista Sirens have an interview later today. I have to get ready and soundcheck. You can call me to either thank me or scold me on how I was wrong later though." He laughs and you both hug.
Narrator: I guess we know that Teddy signed them. Y/N: We do and we know that they changed their name. Narrator: How were the early days of the Six for you? And was your band friends with them? Y/N: My band was like family to the Six and it made sense because 2 members were my literal family. I would go to most of their parties because my band loved their parties and they loved their house. We stayed in a 4 person apartment to save a little bit of money. Parties were a great excuse to see Camila who was so sweet and she felt like the sister I never had. I loved hanging out with her at parties. The Six went on tour with their first album and I was so proud of them. I got to see one of their shows, but my band also was touring around the same time, so I didn't get to support them as much as I would have liked. They saw one of my band's shows too and they seemed to enjoy themselves. But then during the tour, Graham called me and said that Billy went to rehab. It terrified me that I didn't know how bad he was doing and I wanted him to be okay. We had recently disagreed about touring before he left because he wanted me to make sure I was safe. We may have disagreed from time to time, but we were looking out for each other. I love my brothers. I didn't talk to most of the Six for the rest of my tour. But then they started recording album number two and I started recording album number two. Narrator: What did you think of Daisy Jones? Y/N: I had met Daisy in the studio before and she was a feature on one of our songs. We wrote a song about loneliness together, it was somber and beautiful. Teddy cried the first time he heard it live. Daisy and I celebrated at a wine bar. It was great. Narrator: So you were a fan of Daisy? Y/N: Yeah she was crazy talented. I do also think she was wild and I didn't go out with her a lot for that reason. She stressed me out because I wanted to look out for her and she just wanted to have fun. Narrator: Isn't this around when you and Eddie started dating? Y/N: Haha yeah as they were recording album number two, they partied a lot and at their Halloween party, that's when I started dating Eddie. The Halloween party of 1975 thrown by the Six was one for the books, haha.
Your band had decided to dress up as sirens with turquoise outfits, horns, and lots of dramatic make-up. It was your best costume yet.
You pull up to the party with 2 packs of beer and a pack of soda. You walk in and you feel the eyes on your band. You knew it was good, but that good? Idk haha!
You see Billy and Camila matching causing you to smile. They see you, hug you, and Camila says, "Wow you are all stunning. You also brought drinks, thank you." You reply, "I did, yes. Billy, you might want to get some soda before it's all taken." He smiles and thanks you.
Camila leads you over to Karen and Karen gasps at your costume. Karen exclaims, "Oh wow, this costume is amazing. You look so gorgeous." You thank her and say, "I love your costume as well." Camila says, "We have something we want to ask you." You ask, "Ok what?" Karen asks, "What do you think of Eddie? Like would you date him?" You laugh and ask, "I do think he's attractive and I would date him, but my brothers would freak out." Camila smiles and says, "This is too good to be true. Come on, he like likes you, girl. He talked about your band all tour and would make the driver turn up the radio if your music came on. He kind of annoyed your brothers by talking about your achievements... Look, he's with Warren, Graham, and some random girls right now. You and Karen should go over to interrupt. Graham won't care about what you're up to if Karen is there, trust me. He likes her too much." You laugh and ask, "And Karen, what do you think of my brother?" Karen answers, "He's cute, but I'm not looking for a relationship and I think he is." You nod and reply, "Well just let him down easy then." Karen nods.
You and Karen strut over to the crew. You noticed Eddie's eyes on yours as soon as you started walking in his direction and they never leave. Warren exclaims, "Oh wow, all hail Y/N and Karen! Look at these sexy costumes! Who did you wear them for?" You wink at Eddie before answering, "Wouldn't you like to know." Karen answers, "Maybe we wore them for ourselves because we're hot and we know it." Warren whistles and laughs. The two girls tug at the boys to dance and the only one who caves to them is Warren, so they walk off together. Graham asks, "How are you, Y/N?" You answer, "I'm doing great. My band brought your favorite beer, so if you want it before it's out, get to the fridge quick." Graham smiles, kisses you on the cheek, and says, "You're my favorite sibling ever." Graham rushes off and Karen says, "I'm going with him," before she runs off.
You look at Eddie and say, "I like your costume, Eddie." He replies, "Oh this old thing, it's nothing... Yours is wow. I mean, it's sexy and shiny and beautiful." You reply, "Thanks, Eddie. You're sexy and beautiful too." He laughs and you hear your name being called by Billy. You sigh and say, "Sorry Eddie, Billy is calling and we know not to leave him waiting. Can we talk later?" He nods and answers, "Yeah, find me later even if I'm with someone else. I'll choose you to spend the rest of my night with." You feel yourself blush and you say, "Oh... wow okay." He smiles and you rush off towards Billy.
Billy introduces you to some random guy and the guy is sleazy. WTF was Billy doing? Did he just not want you with Eddie? UGH! The guy suggested that we leave together, but you said no. He then tried to get closer to you to kiss you, but you also said no. You notice his fists clench and you run over to where Eddie is talking with a girl. Eddie faces away from the girl, stares at you, and you ask, "Can I kiss you? I need to kiss someone right now and I'd prefer it if it is you. I'll tell you why after." Eddie nods and you pull him down into a kiss. Eddie kisses you back and wraps his arm around your waist. When you pull away from the kiss, you exclaim, "Sorry about that, Billy called me away from you to set me up with someone random. He set me up with this jerk who tried to kiss me and make me leave with him even when I refused. I ran away and found you. I hoped that he would leave me alone if I was with someone else." Eddie replies, "For good measure, let's kiss again." You kiss him again and then Eddie asks, "Okay, what did he look like? I'm throwing him out of this party. You disrespect my girl, you're done. And I'm sure if we tell your brothers, they'll approve of me tossing him out." You inform Eddie and point out the disgusting guy. Then, you find Billy with Camila and tell them about the situation. Billy apologizes for setting you up with that random guy, and Camila holds you tight in a hug. The boys then go off to throw the guy out. Camila says, "Billy stormed off when he saw you alone with Eddie. I don't get why he hates him so much. They used to be best friends. I'm sorry that he did that tonight." You reply, "I'm just glad I could get away and that I found Eddie so fast." She replies. "Me too."
Billy and Eddie return. Billy apologizes again and you say, "Look, I'm just glad I got away from him before something worse happened to me. And I'm glad I found Eddie. It all worked out fine, but I think I need a drink. So if you'll excuse me, I'm going to make one." You walk off to the kitchen and start mixing liquors. You see Eddie leaning against the kitchen counter near your supplies, so you ask, "Eddie, do you want a drink too?" He answers, "Sure since you offered." You stand next to him mixing up your drinks and you feel his gaze on you. You hand him his drink and say, "Thank you for saving me tonight, Eddie." He replies, "Of course, Y/N. I'll always be there to protect you or save you from anything and everyone." You smile, cheer your glasses, and sip. Eddie says, "Holy sh** you can make a good drink. When did you learn this?" You answer, "Haha I made some for friends in college. I think making drinks is fun." He leads you back outside and you both sit next to each other. You both talk the rest of the night :)
When you go inside, you find 2 members of your band cuddling asleep on the couch and Graham tells you that the other one is with Warren. Karen pulls Graham away to help her and you exclaim, "Ok so I either wake up my band and anger them or I stay here tonight then we leave tomorrow morning." Eddie says, "Don't risk their anger. You should stay with me. I promise I won't steal all of the sheets." You smirk, place your hands on his chest, and say, "Ok, but I need something to sleep in unless you want me to sleep naked tonight." He smirks and says, "I wouldn't mind one bit, follow me."
You go back to Eddie's room and Eddie exclaims, "I really really like you. I don't want to force you have sex to have somewhere to sleep tonight. We don't have to if you don't want to." You cup his face gently and ask, "Do you want to?" He puts his arm gently around your waist and answers, "What I want is not relevant." You reply, "But sex is about two people wanting it, so I think what you want is entirely too relevant." He smiles and says, "You were always the most clever Dunne, weren't you?" You answer, "Yeah, and if you want to see how clever I am in bed, then I suggest you get to undressing."
The next morning, you feel light pouring into your eyes and you flip over only coming face to face with Eddie. Eddie is smiling softly at you and you say, "Good morning." He replies, "Your morning voice is hot. Kiss me." You kiss him gently and say, "So is yours." He says, "I don't want this one night to be it. I want to take you out on dates and be your boyfriend." You reply, "I would like that very much, Eddie. You kind of told me you liked me last night, so I had hoped we could go on a date." He asks, "Did you say you liked me?" You answer, "I didn't, but I think I showed you last night how much I care about you... I really like you Eddie Roundtree and I think you're the sexiest bass player I know." He smirks and says, "Yeah... well you're the sexiest lead singer I know." You smile and say, "Yeah, I mean if you found my brother hot and just did this to get him jealous, then we'd have a problem." He laughs and says, "I most certainly am only into one girl and she is named Y/N Dunne." You smile and kiss him.
After showering and putting last night's clothes on, you and Eddie go out to breakfast. Everyone else is there and they just stare at you. Warren says, "Nice of you to finally join us, sex demons." Graham slaps him and says, "Ew that is my sister." You sit next to Camila who you lean against and she hands you a plate of pancakes that you gladly eat. Eddie sits next to you on your other side and barely talks.
After breakfast, Eddie walks you out to your car and you ask, "Hey, are you doing okay? You weren't as talkative at breakfast." He answers, "Yeah I just... I don't want your brothers to think I'm using you for sex or something. I want them to know I care about you a lot and we're not sex demons." You smile and say, "Then tell them that you seriously like me, just maybe leave out the sex demon comment. I don't think they like hearing about my sex life. I'm sure they'll approve and even if they don't, screw them and take me out." He smiles and says, "Anything for you, Y/N. I'll try talking with them and I'll call you after I do so we can schedule our first date." You kiss him and say, "Great, I look forward to hearing from you."
Narrator: Did Billy and Graham approve? Y/N: Graham immediately did. He said I was a grown-up who could make their own decisions and he knew Eddie before Billy, so he stood up for him. Graham even said that Eddie had liked me for years and he just hid it really well. Billy is protective as I've said before, but he did approve of us. Eddie confessing his feelings to Billy meant a lot to Billy and he trusted Eddie with me more than before. Billy told me to be careful though and to not break his heart because it would break up his band. It was silly and I understood. Eddie: They did haha. When I went back in after saying bye to her, the whole band was bombarding me with questions about us. So I told them all to sit down and shut up so I could explain. I told them about my crush on Y/N that started when we were younger and grew when I started listening to her music. I told them how I was proud of her and wanted her to be treated like the Queen she was. Billy and Camila loved how I compared her to a Queen. Graham said he approved easily. Billy asked me more questions about my intentions before telling me that he was cool with us dating. Narrator: Honeycomb blew up and Daisy officially joined the band. Then your band was the opening act for the Daisy Jones & the Six's The Aurora Tour. Can you tell me how that happened? Y/N: My band was selling albums, but not like The Six. We were able to fill smaller venues pretty easily, but it worried Teddy. Teddy liked me and he said that he knew he could help us grow more. He said that if we opened for The Aurora Tour, part of the whole draw was seeing a Dunne perform and then 2 more. It could be a family show and show our family's talent. Billy, Graham, and I did a few interviews talking about how we all became musicians. We did a magazine cover promoting the tour and showing how close we were. It was great. I can't remember a time when we three were closer. Billy: It was great to bond with my siblings over music. We wrote and played a song together that the Sista Sirens released... You know, Y/N helped our band start out and we helped her band grow. It was nice to feel like I was repaying her for that audition with Teddy. Graham: It was great for us to work on a song together, just us three. Y/N was always the calm one who made sure everyone was heard. Billy had this genius songwriting brain that could string our ideas together flawlessly. I knew how to tie in instrumentals and tie it all together. It was one of my favorite songs I've helped to create. Narrator: And how was the Aurora Tour? Y/N: Insane in both good and bad ways. We played our first show in Los Angeles and the crowd was electric. It was amazing to be on tour with the band. We had lots of fun and many mistakes were made. Eddie and I were falling quickly for each other, which terrified us. We would do the awkward stare across the party wondering if we should confess our love to each other. It drove our friends insane. Narrator: What did the Sista Sirens do when the Chicago stadium show was done? Y/N: We knew it was the end and we embraced it. We played an unreleased track to gain some excitement over it and we played our hearts out. My band left on our bus with Eddie on it and we drove home. Eddie moved in with us for a while and he never left actually... we got married the next year. We now have a kid and we have jobs haha... the good life.

You were all very excited for this vacation, after all, you've been giving your all to the band since the Aurora recordings. You loved being among those idiots, and being able to play your keyboard and create music together with them was awesome. So by the time the pay checks arrived at the house in Laurel Canyon you were already planning a trip with the whole gang.
Warren was super excited, he had planned all the way on his boat to take you to a beach house that Graham had rented, so there you were, packing all your stuff for a sensational week full of drinks, music and of course drugs.
“Guys, are you going to take a long time to finish packing?” You say, getting the attention of the boys in the room.“Billy and Camila just left their house, they'll be here in a few minutes. We need to be ready.”
“I'm just waiting for my guest to arrive.” Graham speaks, relaxing his body on the couch.
“Ooh, who is the girl, uh?” Warren says with a smirk on his face, bouncing on the couch cushion like a little kid.
“No girl, man.” The younger Dunne says laughing. “In fact, I called that guy who started working with us at the record company, the one who mixes the songs, you know?”
“Oh, really?” Your body language changes at the mention of the man who has caught your attention since the last recordings, was nothing more than a crush.
“Someone seems interested, huh.” Rojas gets off the couch to go to you, nudging you as his sentence is spoken.
“Shut up Warren.” Roundtree's voice emanates when he enters the place. “Don't let him piss you off Y/N.”
“Alright, sorry for bringing up the obvious.” He shrugs, putting a cigarette to her lips while lighting it next. “I'm going to get my chick on the way there, so I think we're ready.”
“Why did you ask that guy to go with us?” Roundtree broached the subject again, his tone oddly irritated.
“We became close friends over the last few days, I figured it wouldn't be a problem.” The guitarist responds, looking directly at Eddie.
“Well, it is.” You frown at his response, approaching him you gently touch his left hand making him look at you.
“Can I talk to you privately for a second?” You whisper in his ear, and he nods. “Guys, we'll wait for you in the van, okay?”
Eddie adjusts his jacket around his body, making his way behind you following like a puppy dog, the two of you open the back of the van and settle in there, you sit in front of him facing him for a few seconds.
“What's going on with you?” You ask, arching your eyebrows in question. “You were super rude with Graham over there.”
“I thought this was a family trip, that's all.” He shrugs, but you knew him very well to know that he was lying.
“Stop lying, Warren was talking about the twins he wanted to bring the whole week, you knew it wasn't going to be just us. Spill it!”
“I told you, it's nothing.” He relaxes his body, his eyes managing to make your body shiver.
You and Eddie had a lot of tension going on between you since you joined the band, you had already made out a few times when the drink or drugs hit you hard, but neither of you had the courage to bring it up the next day. In addition, you had a sensational energy, which was part of the rest of the band, perhaps the desire to be with each other emanated in the notes you played or was it conveyed in the looks exchanged.
You guys felt comfortable being in each other's presence and maintaining that dynamic where everything lives between the lines. So you clearly knew something was wrong, he was irritated out of the blue, his excuses were not plausible, and the sullen look that resided on his face was noticeable from miles away. But you decide not to bring it up anymore, you knew him, and knew that sooner or later if something was really bothering him he would say something about it.
The van parks a few meters away from the pier, you could already see Warren's boat baptized as “Aurora” there, little by little the band took their luggage to the floating object, arranging everything for that unforgettable weekend. You struggled with the three suitcases in your hand, trying to balance them while dodging other people walking.
“Can I help you?” A voice you know calls your attention, slowly you turn to see who was calling you, recognizing the man mentioned by Graham earlier. “You seem to have difficulty with, well, all of that.”
“I'd like that, thank you.” You lean your body so he can pick up one of the suitcases you were balancing. “Good to see you Gabe, how are you?”
You and the man talked making the way to the boat, and Eddie watched this scene from afar while feeling his blood bubbling, he hated that guy. His arms crossed against his chest, as he felt the frustration also part of him, he had no idea how he was going to spend this week with him in the same room. He knew, or at least thought he knew, that he had ulterior motives with you and just thinking about it would devastate Roundtree.
The whole way to the house on the beach was a party, the music accompanied the band everywhere and it was no different there, you sang and drank while talking about everything and nothing at the same time. It was amazing how those individuals made you feel at home, how wonderful a family they were to you.
As the sun began to set, casting a warm, golden glow across the tranquil waters, the boat gently cut through the calm waves. The rhythmic sound of the engine merged with the distant laughter and chatter, creating a soothing harmony that seemed to echo the bond forming between you and the man.
Eddie's gaze never wavered from the scene before him, his eyes narrowing as he observed your interactions. The cool breeze tousled his hair, a stark contrast to the seething heat he felt within. He clenched his fists, his knuckles turning white as his fingers dug into his palms. A sense of unease settled in his chest, the tension growing palpable as he struggled to suppress his animosity.
Meanwhile, the boat drew nearer to the shore, revealing the full expanse of the beach. Fine, powdery sand stretched out like a welcoming carpet, framed by gentle swaying palm trees that whispered secrets to the wind. The water's hues shifted from deep blue to a vibrant turquoise as it lapped at the shore, creating a serene and inviting backdrop.
As the boat gently docked, you disembarked onto the soft sand, your feet sinking slightly with each step. The beach house, perched just a stone's throw away, beckoned with its open windows and a sprawling veranda that faced the sea. The sound of music drifted on the breeze, blending harmoniously with the soothing symphony of waves crashing gently against the shore.
The atmosphere was alive with an infectious energy as you were greeted by the family who had opened their home to you. Their warm embraces and heartfelt smiles instantly made you feel like a part of something greater, as if you had found a second family in this coastal haven.
The beach house was every bit as beautiful as Graham had promised, a gigantic space big enough for rock stars and their dates and a few other people, too. Its painting in pastel colors was eye-catching, and as you felt the sand on your feet, the whole environment was proof that you guys would have a sensational time here.
As you stepped through the front door, a sense of awe washed over you, the interior of the beach house even more magnificent than its exterior. The open layout revealed a spacious living area adorned with plush couches and vibrant artworks that seemed to capture the essence of the ocean's beauty. Large windows framed the panoramic view of the beach, allowing the soothing sound of waves to permeate the room.
“Oh, I heard the Riva house is around here.” You hear Gabe's voice inform you of a curious fact, Graham stares at him in surprise at the information, you frown.
“The Riva house?” You ask, going up the stairs to the front door.
“Oh, the singer, Mick Riva.” He explains, putting your luggage in the ground as you wait for Graham to open the place. “Legend has it that his kids live here, but the guy has so many kids that it's hard to know.”
“Well, I had no idea about that.” you say making your way into the house, your mouth drops open as you take in the large and wonderful space. “Oh my goodness, this place is beautiful…”
As you began to explore the house, your eyes widened in disbelief. The spaciousness seemed limitless, designed to accommodate a lively group and then some. The rooms exuded an inviting charm, each one a haven of comfort and relaxation. Warren's infectious energy swept you up as he slung his arm around your shoulder, his eyes revealing his exhaustion from the day's events.
"Rest up, Y/N, because tonight is all about partying!" Warren exclaimed, his excitement contagious. He darted up the stairs with an exuberant shout of "party," mimicking the beats of a drum as he went.
Laughter bubbled forth as you watched him disappear, his antics injecting a sense of light-heartedness into the air. The anticipation of the evening's festivities hung palpably in the atmosphere.
In a room nearby, Warren had already succumbed to slumber, his guest following suit. Camila and Billy claimed one of the suites, leaving the remaining guests to make themselves comfortable in the tropical haven.
The day dawned with a gentle breeze carrying the promise of warmth and sunshine. The rhythmic sound of waves crashing against the shore created a soothing backdrop as you stepped onto the soft sand of the beach. The sky above stretched vast and cloudless, its brilliant blue mirrored by the sparkling expanse of the ocean.
Opting for a moment of relaxation, you found a cozy spot on the beach, nestled beneath the shade of a swaying palm tree. Camila, a kindred spirit who had quickly become a dear friend, joined you, her laughter blending with the rustling of leaves as you settled in.
As the two of you lounged on beach towels, you engaged in casual conversation that flowed effortlessly. The scent of saltwater hung in the air, and the occasional squawk of seagulls added a playful note to the serene symphony of nature. Camila's infectious energy and genuine camaraderie made the time pass swiftly, each passing moment fostering a sense of ease and comfort.
Graham and Gabe, familiar faces that had become integral to your experience, occasionally joined you by the shoreline. Graham's thoughtful insights and easy banter provided a sense of familiarity, while Gabe's charm and genuine interest in your thoughts painted a portrait of a blossoming connection.
As the sun arched higher in the sky, conversations drifted from lighthearted anecdotes to deeper discussions, weaving a tapestry of shared experiences and newfound connections. The hours slipped away, and you felt a sense of contentment wash over you, the rhythm of the waves lulling you into a peaceful state of mind.
Anticipation for the evening's festivities gradually grew, and with the setting sun casting hues of orange and pink across the horizon, you made your way back to the beach house. The vibrant colors seemed to reflect the warmth of the connections you had formed, a visual reminder of the bonds that had woven themselves into your heart.
As party preparations commenced, you found yourself drawn into the whirlwind of excitement, helping to set up decorations and arrange seating. Graham's infectious enthusiasm and Gabe's genuine smile added an air of anticipation to the atmosphere, both of them working alongside you to ensure the evening would be nothing short of unforgettable.
The sun dipped below the horizon, casting a warm glow that illuminated the beach house and the party setup. You enter the residence eager to get ready for the party you've been waiting for all last week.
You could already hear the records playing on the record player, your body begged you to run downstairs as fast as possible to dance with all your soul. You barely went down a step and you could already smell the cigarette and the smoke that adorned your body with the descent, from above the view of his entire band and guests having the time of their lives, Daisy snorting cocaine while dancing in circles, Warren pouring an unfamiliar drink into Graham's mouth and chaos enveloped them with each new beat.
“If I had known your parties were like this I would have joined longer.” Gabe tells you, extending his hand to help you down, Eddie notices the scene and adjusts his body on the couch. “Hey, you wanna dance?”
“I'd—”
“Actually, she hates that song, so I guess you can go dancing with, I don't know, that girl over there.” Eddie interrupts you, his hand resting on the back of your back, you raise one of your eyebrows, not understanding anything.
“Oh, I didn't realize…” Gabe is interrupted by Roundtree like you were seconds before.
“Yeah man, cool.” Eddie takes one of your hands, taking you to a further and quieter place.
“What the fuck was that?” You question, his hands on his hips as he watched you.
“You look stunning Y/N” You are taken by surprise, feeling the butterflies in your stomach dance and trying your hardest to not show.
“Thanks…” You whisper, trying to maintain yourself. “But you didn't answer my question Roundtree, you know I love every song in this album.”
“Yeah but that guy clearly doesn't know how to appreciate this record, so, I will preserve you from witnessing this atrocity.” He crosses his arms, proud of what he said, you turn your head in confusion.
“You barely had a conversation with him.”
“Why would I want to do that?” He lets out a weak laugh, rolling his eyes. “Get real, sweets!”
“Wait wait wait…” You smile, that afterwards becomes a smirk. “You're jealous!”
“Excuse me?” He says, rolling his eyes.
“You heard me.”
“I am not jealous of you.” He assures you, shrugging.
“So I take it you won't mind if I go over there and dance with him.” You say, moving away from him.
“Not at all.” He assures you once more, and you don't take long to walk away from him sure of his answer.
As you walk into the dance floor, laughter, music, and chatter melded into a lively symphony, and you couldn't help but get caught up in the atmosphere. Gabe's presence was magnetic, drawing people to him effortlessly.
Eddie, on the other hand, watched from a distance, his expression unreadable. The sight of you and Gabe enjoying each other's company seemed to twist a knife of jealousy deep within him. He clenched his fists, his jaw set, as he struggled to keep his emotions in check.
When you join him, he looks surprised to see you on the dance floor, presumably from Eddie's speech a few minutes ago. He smiles when he sees you, holding your hand and moving you to the beat of the music.
Eddie could feel the insecurity and jealousy consuming him little by little, when Rojas walks by his side and whispers “Try to pretend a little, brother” he feels the peak of his stress arrive. Coming towards you with a serious look.
He grabs your hand startling you with his abrupt approach, he spins you around on the dance floor, looking right at Gabe trying to get a message across. You couldn't help but smile at such idiocy that caused you so much delight.
“Okay, maybe I am a little jealous.” He says next to your ear, so you could hear. “But just to be clear, his dancing is an atrocity.”
“He sucks.” You whisper back, Roundtree breaks into a gigantic smile. “I would rather dance with you, a thousand times.” You confess.
“Wait, Is this a declaration of love?” he teases you, bringing his face closer to yours.
“Seriously Roundtree?” You roll your eyes, placing your hands on the back of the bassist's neck. “Just kiss me already!”
As the words left your lips, Eddie needed no further invitation. He closed the distance between you, his lips meeting yours in a kiss that carried the weight of unspoken desires and uncharted territory. The world around you seemed to fade away, leaving only the sensation of Eddie's touch and the promise of what lay ahead. You pull him closer, if that's possible, feeling the heaven in this act you both shared.
“Jezz, get a room, you two.” Warren speaks leaning on his and Eddie's shoulder, staring at you until you stop. “Thanks, I don't want these makeouts at my party” He was very stoned, which subconsciously made you laugh.
“Fuck off Warren.” Eddie says, before kissing you again.

bones, cupid & daphne
pairing : karen sirko x graham dunno
🎃 - halloween party
👻 - " it looks lovely and cozy in here "
𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐞 𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐜𝐤 𝐨𝐫 𝐭𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐦𝐞
Tumblr media
a halloween party thrown by a major rock star would be a fun time for anyone, right?
wrong.
you did not want to go, but you wanted to spend time with karen and graham while you had them since you were able to go on their next tour with them.
both of them had to go, and because they had to go, you were going with them.
none of you had put too much effort into your costumes, choosing to go as the simplest things you could find in your closets.
for you, that consisted of a purple dress and some white gogo boots to give a very lazy daphne from scooby doo.
the people around you weren't as lazy, but you couldnt care less. you had a drink in one hand and grahams hand in the other leading you through daisy's house.
he hadn't explained to you where he was taking you, only explaining that you were searching out karen when you asked where she had gotten to.
the two of you ended up on the second floor of her house, away from everyone else downstairs.
before you could even ask why you were up here, graham opened the door at the end of the hall, bringing you in with him into what you assumed was one of daisy's guest room's.
you spotted karen in the corner of the room setting a record down on a player dressed in a pair of black jeans and the skeleton shirt you had watched her pull on back at your place before you went out.
the three of you had decided against any sort of related costumes, instead choosing to go through closets to find what you could and just going as three separate things.
a skeleton.
daphne.
and cupid.
before you left the house, both you and karen had put on some red lipstick to cover grahams face and neck with red marks .
it was definitely slightly territorial but he didnt care.
" why're we up here? i thought you two might be enjoying the party " you asked as you walked further into the room, sitting yourself on the edge of the bed in the room, setting your drink down on the bedside cabinet.
" it's too loud down there, " karen started, dropping the needle down onto a david bowie record before she turned towards both you and graham. " and we're going to be seeing those people for weeks. we're not going to get to see you, so we thought we'd ditch downstairs and just hang out up here." she explained a soft smile on her lips as she came to sit on the bed too, shuffling until she was leant against the headboard.
" yeah, we're going to miss you so we thought that our time was better spent with you " graham reiterated, falling down onto bed beside karen, leaving room in-between the both of them.
you didnt need to be asked twice to curl between the two of them.
the record playing in the room was a nice touch as it drowned out a lot of the crap going on downstairs.
even though the three of you were currently living together, you always relished in the feeling of laying with them no matter where you were.
whether you were spread across your bed or cramped up in the tour bus, it was always enjoyable.
only in your house you were disturbed.
unlike now.
you were completely oblivious to the footsteps coming upstairs towards the guest room until you heard the click of the handle.
you weren't about to move but you were definitely disappointed someone was interrupting your time with karen and graham.
but when you saw camilla walk in you were slightly relieved.
you knew she wouldn't linger around and disturb you.
" wow, it looks lovely and cozy in here " she said with a small giggle, leaning against the door frame as she took in the three of you.
none of you needed to say anything for her to get the message and shut the door, leaving the three of you lounging on the bed.
until the moment they left, you would be attached to their arms .
and while them being on tour was hard for you, feeling left out, it was only until you went to surprise them in 2 weeks.

(flashbacks in italics)
Nothing was ever Daisy’s fault, was it?
At least, that’s what Graham Dunne thought when he got a call from Karen saying his girl was wasted at a party with Daisy attached to your hip.
She should have known what you were struggling with, she should have known that you couldn’t handle a party, she should have known this wasn’t what you needed. Daisy Jones should’ve fucking known.
To be completely fair, they really all should’ve known. You’d been around since day 1. Everyone knew better, Daisy just happened to be the red corvette.
-
“You can’t keep doing this, my love.” Camilla whispered oh so gently, holding your hair back from your face, pressing a cold rag to your neck.
It was a small gig, at some shitty bar called Tony’s in Pittsburgh. The band always had a couple beers and maybe a shot or two before a show but you had begun to need more. You snuck vodka into your water bottles and begged the bartenders to sneak you a couple free extras by pulling your top down and leaning over the bar, using your forearms to push your tits up.
It worked every time. Pigs.
“Can do whatever I want.” You slurred, cheek pressed to the toilet seat.
But damnit, you knew she was right.
Tony’s wasn’t the first time.
There was Rod’s, and The Ladie’s Room, and The Shiner Saloon, and some girl named Lisa’s 18th birthday party. It was becoming a pattern, everyone could tell.
You always went back to your house after a show. Your parents had been completely absent since you were 15, you never knew where they were. And after every show, their cars were never once in the driveway.
A safespace.
Billy would sit outside of the bathroom, head leaning against the door while Graham waited in the living room, arms crossed and head down, not wanting to listen to your cries and shakes of pain.
Eddie would retreat to the guest room, but he usually wouldn’t be able to fall asleep til he heard the click of your door next to his.
Warren would be passed out on the couch as soon as you all walked through the door, not that he didn’t care about you immensely, but the poor kid could just not stay awake if he was tired.
“I wanna go to bed.” You said.
Camilla sighed, “Are you sure you’re ready?”
You nodded and so did Camilla. She got up to get Billy like she always did, and he’d come and pick you up off of the bathroom floor, as he always did, and carry you to your room and lay you on the bed, letting Camilla make sure you’re comfortable, like she always did.
Graham would come in and ask how you’re doing, like he always did, and he’d make himself comfortable on your floor with throw pillows and spare blankets, like he always did.
But that night, after Tony’s, things changed.
“I can’t do this anymore, Graham.” You whimpered.
Fuck.
This was early days, Graham was still awkward as hell and didn’t know how to go about things like this.
“Do what?” He croaked, mustering up the courage to be there for you.
“This. I can’t live like this. I’m afraid I’m gonna kill myself.”
Graham was up in an instant, reaching for the doorknob. “Do you want me to get Camilla?”
You shook your head, “No, please. Just-” You wiped a tear from your cheek, “Will you just lay with me?”
“Anything.” Graham breathed as he settled into bed next to you. You immediately wrapped your arms around him, being too drunk to care about any awkwardness and Graham was thankful.
“We’ll get you out of this, promise.”
-
That was the last time anybody saw you drink anything besides a beer or two, following that was shirley temples and cherry cokes.
Nobody really knew the heaviness of addiction then, but they knew that you were happier, and that’s all that really mattered to them. You were even laughing at Warren’s jokes and Billy and Eddie’s lame bickering, everything felt okay.
“You don’t drink?” Karen had asked, the first time you properly met in California, while she was digging through the fridge searching for a beer. You shook your head, hoping you weren’t going to get some crazy reaction like you were a zoo animal in a cage like you got from most people.
She just nodded, a small smile playing at her lips as she pulled two coca cola bottles from the fridge, popping them open with her ring and handing you one.
“Cheers to that.”
You were sober enough to realize you were in love with Graham, and confident enough to tell him. And man, he could’ve exploded.
There was a celebration, at the house in Laurel Canyon, just the 7 of you.
Warren recalls later that Graham looked like he’d been dipped in sunshine and rainbows.
“Like he’d just smoked sunshine and been fucked by a rainbow. It was crazy, man.”
Well, almost.
You’d been around the band multiple times while they drank and it was never a problem. You’d have the first round of beers with them then tap out, but you always stayed and had fun, smoked a couple joints and cigarettes, never without a mocktail or coca cola in your hand. Sometimes, usually Karen or Camilla, someone would join you on the sober night, and that always felt really nice.
That night had felt different, you were scared.
-
“I’m gonna fuck him up Warren…” You said as you laid on the floor with the drummer as Down By The Seaside by Led Zeppelin played from the record player, Warren laughed.
“Yeah you are.” He said, his tone suggestive as he bumped his elbow with yours.
You rolled your eyes, fighting the heat creeping into your cheeks. “You know what I mean, man. I’m gonna ruin him.”
Warren had known you long enough and listened to enough of the songs you wrote to where he’d like to think he knew you pretty well.
And you never opened up out of the blue unless you were drunk.
“Have you been drinking?” He asked, not looking up from the ceiling. You scoffed.
“I still have a beer here and there, Warren.”
“You know what I mean, man.” He repeated your words back to you and you felt like you couldn’t breathe.
“I’m going to bed.” You said and stood up, trying your hardest not to stumble or slur.
“Honey…” Warren started, pushing himself off of the floor to try to stop you.
“NO!” You whipped around, flipping your hair so forcefully it stung your face but you were quick to pull it back.
“Don’t fucking- don’t fucking do that, man!” You started, holding a hand up. “My own friends don’t even fucking trust me i’m just constantly babied! Do you know how that feels?”
At that point, Karen, Eddie and Billy had tuned in, being in the kitchen. Camilla and Graham must have been elsewhere, he had always confided in her like a sister.
“Hey–” Billy tried to interject with a hand on your wrist but you were quick to pull away.
“Huh?! Do any of you know how that feels?!” You were borderline screaming now, and everyone was speaking to you so softly, hands slowly trying to grasp you and it made you want to scream even louder.
“How dare you ‘ccuse me of something like that asshole?” You were beginning to slur your words, the tequila you’d snuck from Warren’s room starting to hit pretty heavily, making your eyes droop and words slur.
“Baby, please-” Karen started, making the move to grasp your arm but you turned and lost your balance, nearly falling but Eddie was quick to catch you, he held on tight and didn’t dare let go until you calmed down or Graham came back. Billy had left minutes ago to find him and Camilla, who had taken a walk so he could freely gush about his new girl without the chances of anyone else hearing.
“Need you to calm down, babe.” Eddie whispered, running a hand up and down your arm for comfort.
“None of you even care!”
Warren shook his head alongside Karen, both of them had squatted in front of you, doing their best to provide what you needed.
“That’s not true.”
“I fucking hate you all!”
“You don’t mean that.”
“I don’t wanna be here anymore!”
And then he said your name.
You froze.
He was gonna leave you, you were so sure of it. You worked so hard to be better for him and it didn’t work.
“No…” You whimpered and you swore you saw Graham break in front of your eyes.
“You can’t- you can’t see this.”
But he didn’t care. He knelt in front of you and Eddie and gathered you into his own arms, completely silent as he carried you to his room and you wanted to disappear into him so badly.
“‘M so sorry…” You slurred, and still he was quiet. You let him undress you and replace your pretty top and flared jeans with his own tee shirt and boxer shorts.
You watched as he changed into a similar outfit as you picked at your nails. “Graham, I-”
He sighed and placed his hands on either sides of your cheeks, placing a firm kiss on your forehead that only made you cry harder. You brought your hands up to grip his wrists, not willing to let go of the feeling of his lips on your skin.
“I’ve ruined everything, haven’t I?”
Graham was silent again as he pulled you into his bed with him, covering you both with the large duvet.
“Not in the slightest.”
-
That night was really the last night anybody had seen you get drunk like that.
Then, Daisy Jones came along.
And you learned how to keep bad habits a secret.
Tequila and mints in the bathroom, water and cherry cokes with the band. A shot of jameson to fall asleep. Champagne to wake up, brush your teeth. A beer in the shower after lunch, leave the evidence in Warren’s room since there were hundreds of empty ones anyway.
It’s not like Daisy was teaching you one on one, you just started watching her, and you liked the way she got away with it.
No one told Daisy about your issue either, you could hold your own and you had asked them not to, so lips were sealed.
But it took everything in Graham and Billy not to tell her to tread lightly every time they saw the two of you sneak off on your own.
And now here was Graham Dunne, sitting in the driver's seat of the van outside of God knows who’s house, with Camilla in the passenger’s seat and Billy in the back. Moral support.
“Want us to come with you?”
Graham shook his head. “I need to do this alone.”
Billy scoffed, “I’m not gonna let you go in there with our two hot headed alcoholic rage sisters. Cam, you stay here.”
“Nope, you go I go. You two get our girl, I’ll handle Daisy.”
The three bickered a moment but finally settled on their plan. Graham and Camilla would take you, while Karen and Billy took Daisy, since the blonde girl drove.
“Fucking finally.” Karen exasperated as she saw her friends walk into the backyard of the party while trying her hardest to hold you upright.
“Where is Daisy?” Billy spat immediately, making eyes around the party. You had always been like a sister to him, in the way Camilla was to Graham, and he could’ve killed the redheaded girl in that moment.
“Beats me.” Karen said, passing off your deadweight into Graham, who was quickly supported by Billy. Your head lulled onto your boyfriend's shoulder, recognizing him as a source of comfort even in your inebriated state.
It made his soul ache.
“Is Simone here?” Camilla asked.
Karen shook her head, “Was. Split as soon as she and Daisy got into a fight. Offered to take this one” she nodded her head at you “home with her but I figured it’d be best if you guys came.”
Graham shook his head, “You made the right call, thank you.”
“Yeah, well uh, I sure as hell can’t drive. Got drunk as hell before even stepping foot in the backyard, soon as I saw (Y/n) I stepped in and called you guys immediately.”
“Do we need to get Daisy?”
“That’s a fight you sure as hell don’t wanna have. Yelled at me just for taking ‘her best friend’ away from her to get her some water.”
Billy rolled his eyes.
Graham and Billy began making their way out of the party with you slung around their shoulders, and Camilla walking arm in arm with a very drunk Karen who kept tripping over feet.
And suddenly red hair and sparkling eyes were in front of them.
“Ohhh no, what happened to my girl?” She tried to touch your face but Billy pulled you away, ready to say something before Graham spoke up, surprising everyone.
“Your girl, Daisy?!” His voice boomed, no doubt you’d be embarrassed if you were in any way conscious. “This is my girl, our girl.” He gestured to the rest of the group. “And I’d say it’s in your best interest to leave her the hell alone from now on.”
-
Graham was a mess when he got you home.
Daisy ended up at the house not too long after the rest, explaining she didn’t know the situation, apologizing profusely, informing them all you had been drinking for months. She told them in a sullen voice that you hadn’t been this bad last time she saw her, that she thinks someone must have done it to you.
Graham understood, he did. But he couldn’t look at Daisy. How could she let you out of her sight, to allow someone to do this to you? It made his stomach turn. Billy was next to his brother this time, in the living room, a hand resting on his shoulder, squeezing from time to time, and instead of standing Graham sat with his head in his hands, creating knots in his hair as he ran his fingers through it. Cam and Karen had you in the bathroom, after seeing the panic in Graham’s eyes they decided to take over that part, knowing it wouldn’t be easy for him to see. Warren stayed up, and Eddie didn’t retreat to his room, Daisy paced back and forth outside of the bathroom, biting her nails. Graham could hear it, it was driving him nuts.
“Would it kill you to be quiet for two seconds, Daisy?!” He groaned, running a hand over his red splotchy face.
Everyone knew that Graham was just upset and taking it out on Daisy, the red corvette, which wasn’t exactly fair, but they also knew better than to argue with Graham at that point.
“You know what, Graham?!” Daisy stomped into the living room, planting herself in front of the Dunne brothers with her arms crossed.
Graham didn’t look up.
“Hey, I’m talkin’ to you!” Daisy used her thumb and pointer finger to grip his chin and pull his face up to look at her and she immediately felt guilty at his tear stained cheeks and glassy eyes.
She sighed, and crouched before him.
“I know it’s hard, and I’m so, so sorry this is happening to her. But she makes her own decisions, Graham. No one could’ve stopped her.”
Graham nodded, but still wouldn’t look in her direction. “Will you go check on her, please?”
Daisy would later tell the story with a frown on her face, and she’d recall never being that scared for another person before, despite the smile she put on for Graham.
“I didn’t-” She took a breath, “I’d never seen it that bad before, at least not while I was sober. I thought she was going to die.”
Daisy retreated to yours and Graham’s shared room shortly after discovering she couldn’t stomach staying in that bathroom, deciding to make herself useful by getting the bed ready, fluffing the pillows and retrieving some fresh clothes for you to wear to bed, making sure she grabbed ones that smelled like your boyfriend. She dropped the clothes off in the bathroom, and passed along the message to Graham from Karen and Camilla that it was time to take you to bed.
This had been Billy’s job, since before The Six was even The Six, that’s how it went. But things had changed, Graham had grown, and it was his turn.
part two coming soon!

That will be the only difference. So, if the use of Y/N isn’t your thing, go ahead and look the fic up on AO3 :)
Below you'll find the links to all the parts that have thus far been uploaded. I will try my best to upload a new chapter each week. Every part is also accompanied with a 'soundtrack', these are all listed below as well. Finally, a little preview of what's to come... I hope you enjoy the story as much as I enjoy writing it! There aren't a lot of Rhys x Reader fics out there, so I hope I can bring some extra flavour to the table.

Preview
Song: Feeling Good – Nina Simone
The sound of the heavy door opening as it noisily scraped the floor made you look in his direction.
Rhys entered slightly out of breath, looking positively dishevelled as he ran a hand through his unruly curls.
“What happened to you? Killed another person?” You couldn’t help but teasingly joke, taking in his state as your eyes roamed freely over his physique.
Rhys had put his hands on his hips, taking some deep breaths to slow down his heart rate. When he looked up at you, head tilted to the side, he shot you his charming smile that feigned innocence.
No way.
You stared at him.
No way the man was truly this brazen.
He started to move closer to you, his eyes mischievous as they betrayed his wicked actions. You marvelled a little at how quickly you were getting better at reading him. Perhaps you recognised the murderous tendencies from the mirror.

tethered playlist breakdown - ch 1: chemtrails
hi hi hi! thank-you to everyone who has read, commented, left kudos, and bookmarked tethered so far (and if this is the first you're hearing of it, here's my critical role / bell's hells / imodna music au)! this beautiful, musical lil world has been knocking around in my head for a little over 6 months and i'm so excited to share it with other people 💗
so as I said on ao3, to create the Full Experience of this au the way i've been stewing in it over the past 6-odd months, i wanted to also pop chapter tie-in posts on here that give a more detailed breakdown of the music in each chapter, mainly bc I'm not someone who writes songfics rly and I don't like breaking up the flow of the fic + the suspension of disbelief with lyrics etc, so: we're gonna do it this way.
(again, if this is the first you're hearing of this au and it has piqued ur interest, would recommend giving ch 1 a read and then coming back to this post)
but okay, let's start with this first chapter ⚡🎼
i gave a bit of a generic ‘vibe’ of what everybody’s music sounds like in the end-notes, but i’m gonna elaborate a bit here + also fill in some gaps!
Liliana
in this fic, Liliana Temult gained acclaim as a teenage country star, kind of like early early Taylor Swift (vibes: TS debut, Fearless, + specifically the songs Sparks Fly, Mine, and Ours from Speak Now are songs Liliana released about her high school sweetheart turned husband (Relvin)).
*important to note: any TS songs that are confirmed as Liliana’s are re-recording versions of these songs, as the original versions of them are how i imagine Imogen sounding if she were to cover her mom’s music, plus also draws a more distinctive line in the differences in sound between Imogen and Liliana if both of them have TS music in their discographies. if you’re super hardline abt only listening to Taylor’s rerecordings, that’s chill, but just putting it out there as my distinction between Imogen’s TS songs and Liliana’s TS songs!
as Liliana got more popular, signed to a new label (Ruidus Records, owned by Ludinus Da’Leth, and Liliana was managed by Otohan Thull), Liliana’s sound changed and she spent more time away from home, in New York and LA (vibes: AURORA by Daisy Jones and the Six, Fleetwood Mac - 60s/70s-esque pop-rock with some country tinges to it).
Imogen
more on Imogen’s music in the fic’s present-day for the ch 2 breakdown, but for a backstory vibe: the first music Imogen releases are with songs from Kacey Musgraves’ album, Deeper Well; Imogen’s EP, called If I Let Go, has this tracklist:
Sway
Lonely Millionaire
The Architect
Cardinal
Sway is fairly self explanatory, and it’s the leading single for the EP.
Lonely Millionaire is about Imogen’s desperation to not slip into the wrong side of the industry no matter how alluring it may be at times, no matter how caught up she gets in the glitz and glamour and magic of it all, she doesn’t want to forget that it’s not worth it to get lost and end up on your own (like Liliana did).
The Architect is ‘small-town grew up in a christian community and maybe has some queer religious trauma’ Imogen Temult going ✌🏼don’t know if i believe i still believe in god and i don’t know if it would make it easier or harder if i did✌🏼.
Cardinal is something Imogen had written for years and years before she ever released it, but it’s a song that’s so clearly inspired by Liliana’s later career music, and it’s very much about Liliana too, and it almost gets swapped out for a different song because Imogen’s a little terrified that putting her mother’s musical story into her own at the start of her career is as good as damning her from the beginning, but Bertrand and Laudna convince her otherwise so this song ends up closing off the EP.
(later, when Imogen puts out the rest of her album (which includes songs I haven’t figured out yet lol), she adds Giver / Taker and Nothing To Be Scared Of also from Kacey’s new album, and both of them are written about Laudna :-). (the album is also called Nothing To Be Scared Of.)
Laudna
Laudna also got into music as a teenager (signing to Briarwood Records under Delilah) but exactly what kind of music that was, i’m not 100% on so taking suggestions + recommendations if you have any. tethered’s present-day Laudna’s music is mostly following the sound of Lizzy McAlpine. the six feet under EP referenced in ch 1 is:
doomsday
firearm
ceilings
chemtrails
there’s more for Laudna’s music - including other songs she wrote in the time Imogen was away - but we’ll get into those as they come up in the fic 😉
The Crown Keepers
finally, for this chapter’s musical rundown: to put some context to The Crown Keepers, they are, in fact, the Full Gang. Orym, Fearne, Dorian, Dariax, and Opal make up TCK, and they started out as a folk/indie lil group who wound up being signed to Eshteross Records by Bertrand. they’re the characters i have the Most songs for bc their musical sound is my favourite kind of music, but i’ll just give you some artists to listen to + some of the key songs tied to their group’s backstory!
vibes: Wild Rivers (both in music And in their actual Vibe as a group, go look them up, seriously) / Judah & the Lion (their song Spirit is the first song of TCK’s that blows up and they start to break into mainstream popularity) / Motherfolk / McFly / Morningsiders / Kodaline / Avalanche City (Sunset is one of the last songs they release + the very very last song they play at the end of their world tour right before they go on hiatus) / and Tiny Habits as little smaller combos of different members of the band (esp their cover of landslide).
quick addition because I keep forgetting: the song that Imogen and Laudna sing together that Orym and Imogen text about is Call It What You Want from High School Musical the Musical the Series, and it's actually the song t hat set this whole fic off, funnily enough.
anyway! that’s some musical insight for u for ch 1!! here’s the playlist (so far) — will add more as it comes up!
love, chim ⚡

ms. americana & the heartbreak prince
eddie roundtree/loving x f!reader
description: eddie is your prince, girls are mean, and you love the boy so much that it hurts. good news is that he loves you just as much.
word count: 1.7k
warning(s): none
a/n: erm...hi!! first eddie fic and this man has been in my head for the last month non stop. bit of a fluff/hurt comfort piece. this is the first thing i've finished reading in a long time, and i have some more stuff in the works. please like and reblog, its really helps :)!!
"You know I adore you, I'm crazier for you Than I was at 16...I counted days, I counted miles To see you there, to see you there...Leave with my head hung, you are the only one Who seems to care..."
─── ・ 。゚☆: . . :☆゚. ─── ➶ ─── ・ 。゚☆: . . :☆゚. ───
Your hands were traveling all over Eddie's body, pulling at the collar of his shirt, tangled in his hair. His lips were desperate against yours, searching every part of you that you'd let him.
"Baby, I gotta go-" He gasped, breathing heavily as he pulled his lips away from yours. His hand gripped the back of your neck while the other rested against the small of your back. The crowd could be heard echoing throughout the walls of the stadium, their cheers and screams bouncing around the two of you.
You nodded, giving him a smile and one last kiss. "Walk me down to the room?" He nodded, helping you down from the amps you had found your way onto.
Eddie and you had been together for over five years, since the last half of senior year. He was quick to ask you to come with him, and you hadn't hesitated to follow him and the band out west to California.
Eddie swayed slightly as he walked you down to the back room, where the others would be, preparing to take their time on the stage. He was smiling his beautiful upturned, soft smile.
"What's got you so happy? Excited?" You asked, squeezing his bicep.
"Just thinking about how lucky I am, to have someone like you with me. If I could have anything in the world, I'd still choose you." He looked down at you.
Your chest tightened with something, filled with the love and excitement of knowing that you had him. Eddie could be a real hard ass, always getting too mad too fast. But somehow, you could never make him mad. Did you annoy him sometimes? Of course, but not as much as Billy or Graham could. Did he love to goof around with Warren? Duh, but when it came to you, it was like he didn't have anything to prove, anything to leave behind to know you would still be there after a show or a gig in a bar. And you felt great comfort in knowing that despite the drinking, the drugs, and the chance to flirt with another, he would never do anything that left you alone or in pain.
As you two arrived in front of the door you took his hand in yours, giving it a tight squeeze.
"I love you a lot." You smile, kissing his knuckles, running your fingers over the callouses that covered his fingers.
The door swung open and Warren let out a cheer, pointing his drumsticks in the air.
"Let's fucking do this!!" He yelled, a mirage of cheers coming from behind him. "Woah, sorry to interrupt lovebirds, but we have a show to put on." He laughed, pulling Eddie with him.
Eddie rolled his eyes, mouthed a quick love you, and began walking in stride with the drummer, the others quickly following behind, giving you a wave and smile.
You walked into the room, which reeked of weed and alcohol. There were three groupies sitting on the couches and lounging around the floor. They usually stayed around for a bit, went to the show, then came back to freshen up before the band got back. Usually, you and Camila would sit in the corner, talk about life with your boys, and talk about the next show. But Camila was at home, pregnant, and could not stand being around the waves of smells.
So you sat alone, leaning against the couch that was more focused in the corner, just a bit farther from the four girls that littered the room. Usually, they clung to Warren and Graham, but you weren't immune to the looks they would give Eddie, they did the same thing to Billy, whether you and Camila were or weren't here.
You sighed, leaning your head back, hearing the crowd get louder as the band began their set. The cheers were enough to make you excited to see Eddie after the show. He would be full of energy and power, seeing as this was one of the biggest crowds, based on what the sounds themselves told you.
"Hey, you're the one that's always with Eddie, right?" One of the girls called.
You looked towards her, her makeup slightly messy, hair blown back. She was smiling, and for a moment you thought she might be showing you a bit of kindness.
"Yeah, always by his side." You smiled, prideful that you made your presence around him notable.
"Mm, yeah, you should try to do that less." She smirked, her hand lifting another hill of powder up to her nostril.
You looked at her, confused about what she could mean. Your arms wrapped around one another, hugging yourself as you leaned into her words.
"Yeah, that's just like, hook-up 101. You don't want to annoy them, just give them enough to keep it up." She winked, as the girls around her laughed.
There was a sudden ache in the bottom of your stomach, the way she eyed you, the way she had let the words drip off her tongue.
"Well," You squared your shoulders, "Good thing I'm not just a hookup. Eddie and I are together, have been for a while."
"Oh, sure. I'm not doubting that, I'm just saying maybe if you acted like you were just a hook-up, he wouldn't have the need to go find one of us." She shrugged, pouting her lips.
The malice in her voice, in her eyes. There was serious pity in what she was telling you and you had no idea how to react. She could be lying, she could be just playing up a story to try and get a reaction. Why would you give her that and her friends that?
You silently grabbed your stuff and walked out. If you took one last look or said something you weren't sure if it would be with anger or tears. The crowd was still cheering, yelling out as the band began the second half of their set but the only thing you could hear was the pounding in your head.
You made your way out the area's back door, the one nearest to where the bus had parked. Teddy was right outside, smoking a cigarette.
"Hey, darling-" You looked over at him, tears welling over in your eyes. He immediately turned to you, a look of concern splashed over his face. "What's going on?"
"Nothing Teddy. Just um, you know how these girls can be." You gave him a soft smile, wiping away the tears in your eyes. He gave you a nod, saying nothing before offering you a cigarette from his pack.
You took it, lit it, and let out a long exhale as your head rested against the wall of the arena.'
"You know, I don't know how to get, sentimental. I'm not the best with words or anything, but I will tell you this: Eddie would never do whatever those girls in there said."
"It's alright Teddy, I don't need any lies or cover stories. I'm a big girl, he's a big guy, and I'll have that conversation with him." You smiled, taking another drag.
"I've toured with bands for almost fifty years and you think I'm gonna start covering them now? Look, I know how these guys tend to get. I've toured with lots of bands for a long time, and I tell you, that boy is one of the very few that has never even looked at another woman the entire time I've been here."
The tears began to well in your eyes again, that tight feeling in your chest returning. You knew Teddy was right. But there was always a small part of you to doubt Eddie even though he had never given you a reason to. You felt it could be because of what Camila had found out about Billy, and you knew everything he had put her through. You had been the one to hold her at the hospital after Julia came, as Billy was on his way to rehab. You could never see Eddie putting you through that, and for all you cared, Eddie was ten times the guy Billy had ever been.
"All I'm saying is, if anyone is gonna tell you the truth, it's that boy. And he's still going to apologize for even letting you think that way even though he had no hand in it."
So why put yourself through the what if's when you could ask the man that loved you for yourself?
"You're right." You flicked the burnt stub to the ground, and stomped it out, turning to Teddy. "Thank you, Teddy."
He smiled, and grabbed the door, letting you back inside. The show itself was coming to an end, you could tell as the chorus for Honeycomb began. You rush to a bathroom, fix your eyeliner and lipstick, fluffed your hair, then made your way back to the band's room.
As you opened the door you saw that the girls had all quieted down, trying to fix themselves up before the others returned. You weren't going to say a word, just going to let actions speak for themself.
A few minutes later, the band rushed into the room, cheering, and jumping around as the girls got up to greet whoever they wanted. You sat, waiting patiently for your boy to appear.
When he did, his eyes scanned the room, looking frantically for you. When they landed on him he made no hesitation to race across the room, dropping to his knees in front of where you sit.
"Hi baby." He smiled, catching you in a kiss. Your arms wrapped around his shoulders, his around your waist as he held you close to his body. He gripped you so hard you would think that someone was going to come into his arms and rip you away from him. He shifted around, so his head rest against your lap as you played with his hair.
And all the bad feelings disappeared. Maybe one day you would have the conversation with Eddie, tell him what had been said to you, what you thought she could mean. But for now, you knew that Teddy's words rang true. Eddie was a hothead, but he wasn't a cheater. He was someone whose heart had enough room for one person, and that just happened to be you.

Eddie Roundtree x Fem!Reader: Introverts & Parties Don't Mix Well
You're in the band and while you are close to all of them, you and Eddie tend to gravitate to each other.
Y/N = Your First Name & L/N = Your Last Name
Narrator = Julia Dunne (but Narrator for sake of the story)
** I do not own the DJATS characters or plot ** **** The timeline is going to seem weird lol but I'm just writing what I want to write lol ****

Y/N's POV
Narrator: This is just going to be your introduction. So could you tell us who you are and how you got into Daisy Jones & The Six? Y/N: Hi everyone I am Y/N L/N! I have always loved listening to music and creating music. When I was younger, I started with piano and guitar. Then in middle school, I learned flute and piccolo because I wanted to be in a concert band. I joined a band with friends outside of school in early high school and we played some small gigs in town. After high school, I moved to Los Angeles and met Karen within my first week. Her band needed an extra musician and I filled the spot. I followed Karen wherever she went, and she did the same with me. If one of us left a band then so did the other. We only joined a band if we both could. I learned sound engineering and technology to do anything a band could need. Karen took up something else. I'm feeling really tired at the moment, so I honestly can't remember. You’ll have to ask her. The Dunne Brothers played after us at this bar. We met the boys there. I wasn’t interested in being social and I left, but they liked Karen. So, we changed bands. Narrator: Were you angry that you had to leave? Y/N: No. The band we were with never liked our ideas or respected us anyway. They also wanted Karen & I to dress a certain way that we didn't want to. Karen: I just wanted to make music and I wanted to do it with Y/N. She is and was my best friend. Narrator: Did either of you ever think about splitting ways? Karen: Never. Y/N: Never. Narrator: Wow, and would you say you're both still best friends? Karen: Yes. Y/N: Yes. Narrator: We already talked about Karen joining. What about Y/N? How did you feel about her joining? Billy: We needed a keyboard player, which was Karen. Her only condition on which she would accept our offer to join the band was to let Y/N join as well. The rest of the band liked Karen and thought that it was worth it to bring in Y/N too. I'm glad we did. Y/N is and was such a kind soul. She was also very kind to Camila and you growing up, so yeah I was a fan. Warren: Y/N, yeah I found her hot. We saw her play and she rocked hardcore. She also had a cool voice, so I was on board. As soon as I saw how Eddie looked at her, I knew he was a goner. That man was lost in the world of Y/N even before we met her. Daisy: I liked her a lot. Her vocal range was amazing and I could listen to her for hours. Y/N was always kind to me. I consider her to this day one of my close friends. Graham: Y/N was cool. To be honest, I was more focused on Karen at the time, so I was all for letting Y/N join. We don't keep in touch as much as I would have liked because of well Karen. Eddie: She could sing, she knew how to work any sound technology, she could play so many instruments, and she was single. Yeah, I was interested in her as soon as we were told she could join.
Tumblr media
Narrator: How were the early days for you? The boys talked a lot about the parties. Did you like the groupies and parties? Y/N: God, I hated the parties at first. Introverts and Parties, they don't mix well. I realized that part of being in a band is doing things they like and interacting with them in social spaces. Even if I preferred being alone in my room, I wanted to be close to the band. And, if I hadn’t been pulled out of my comfort zone at those parties, I never would’ve fallen for Eddie. Narrator: Were you always closest with Eddie? Other than Karen, that is. Y/N: Yes, I was. Graham mainly hung out with Karen and he only talked to me if it would make him look good for Karen. Obviously, I was still close to Karen. Daisy was not always in the right headspace, which made me too worried to hang out with her because I wanted her to be safe. Billy was too serious at work but he was cool at parties. Camila was kind and I would talk to her at a lot of parties. Warren was so outgoing that I was anxious being around him at parties because he would try to get me to take more shots or take drugs. He was cool during recording sessions and for work though. And as for Eddie, I knew he was talented and Billy didn’t see his full potential. I also knew that some of Eddie’s ideas were good ones if we just went through with them. He was also a really inspiring songwriter and had a sweet voice. He'd probably hate that I called it sweet, but it always felt like home to me. Eddie: Y/N was always supportive of me and my ideas. She would listen to demos of songs that I’d written and we’d write together. She was a great lyricist on top of everything else she was amazing at. She was perfect to me. Y/N: Before we started dating, Eddie and I would spend a lot of time together. Warren always joked that Eddie and I should just cut the sexual tension by having sex. He also kept telling us that we should date because we clearly both liked each other. We were both coming to terms with seriously liking each other, so we would then just make fun of Warren for getting drunk and we wouldn’t talk about it. We just agreed to move on. Well not until this one party…
Skip to the party ~
You hang with Billy, Camila, and Daisy drinking before you decide to head outside to see if it’s quieter and calmer. Billy and Daisy are tolerating each other, so you feel good leaving them with Camila.
You notice no one sitting at the table by the fire pit so you grab a new drink and sit down. A guy you’ve seen at parties before starts talking to you and sits in the chair next to you. You decide to be polite so you keep talking to him.
You feel arms wrap around your neck and can tell it’s Eddie. You know his cologne and you know his hugs. He leans down, kisses your cheek, and exclaims, “I was wondering where you were, babe. Who’s your new friend?” The guy looks between you two, gets up, and runs away. It makes you and Eddie laugh. Eddie takes the guy’s seat and says, “I saw you out here and you looked bored. I wanted to save you from that guy.” You reply, “He was being polite and he never even talked about sex. It was nice actually. But, I just wanted to be alone to drink by the fire. It was getting way too much inside the house with all those people.” Eddie replies, “Yeah, tonight's energy is not the best. And, I did get myself into a bit of a sticky situation. I need your help.” You ask, “Sure, what’s up?” He answers, “I need you to go inside with me and pretend to be my girlfriend. Some of the groupies and Warren are annoying me. I want them to leave me alone and I'll even sneak somewhere quiet with you after.” You ask, “Why me?” He answers, “Everyone thinks we’re already dating. I thought it would be the easiest option... and well they asked if you were the girlfriend and I said yes.” You nod. So it’s just out of convenience and he agreed to a lie that you wish was true. You say, “Sure boyfriend. What do I need to know before we go in?” He tells you the plan as you walk in. You know Eddie and he loves physical touch. So you give him permission to be touchy as if you were actually dating and he gets a little flustered at the idea.
Eddie’s hand finds yours as you walk. He twirls you around and you dance together. Your hands go around his neck and his go on your waist. You ask, "Ready?" He looks confused and asks, "For what?" You answer, "A kiss, babe." You then pull him closer and you kiss. You wish you could say it was a horrible kiss, but the truth is, it was the best kiss you had up to that point in your life. You felt the fireworks everyone talked about. Eddie pulls away, puts his forehead to yours, and says, "Holy wow that was a kiss... I think I need something cold." You laugh and pull him toward the fridge. You hand him a cold beer that you open by kicking it with your foot. Eddie's jaw drops and he says, "Wtf, I didn't know you could do that." You press a kiss to his lips and say, "That's good, babe. It keeps the relationship more interesting." Eddie replies, "It really does."
You hear, "Well well well... if it isn't traitors." You see Warren with hands on his hips and girls hanging all over him. You ask, "Why are we traitors?" Warren answers, "You two have been fu**ing and dating without telling me. I've wanted you two to date since you two met. I thought you two would tell me first. Eddie was in love from the first time he saw you, Y/N." Great news great news... ok self act like this is old news... You wrap an arm around Eddie and say, "I know. It's so cute how he fell for me on day one. And Warren, we've been keeping it a secret. We didn't anyone to know just yet." Eddie's arm finds your waist and he adds, "We were waiting for the right time. We didn't want to steal anyone's thunder." One of the girls asks, "You two are hot. Are you looking for a third?" You smirk and answer, "We don't like sharing." Warren lets out a laugh and says, "Staking your claim on your man, wow. Eddie, do you feel the same? You've done an orgy or two." Eddie smirks and replies, "Hearing the woman you love moan your name during an orgasm is more satisfying than being with multiple people." You feel your cheeks blush and you move a little because it is feeling a little hot in here. Warren says, "I'll leave you two to it then." He walks away with the girls.
(( PLAY THIS NOW for the full experience ))
Before you and Eddie can talk, the power goes out. You all start passing out candles and flashlights. Karen finds you, pulls you into a hug, and leads you to the piano. She starts playing and you start singing. Daisy joins you and you both twirl each other around. Eddie starts playing and his eyes meet yours. They never leave you as you sing. Daisy starts singing with Billy and you join Karen on the piano bench. Karen lets you play with her. Everyone is singing and it's magical. It feels so nice being here with friends doing what you love.
People start leaving after that and you go to your bedroom to wait for everyone to clear out. You also are trying to avoid Eddie because tonight did crazy things for your heart. You knew how much you cared about Eddie, but tonight made you fall deeper for him. It's going to be hard to keep going with hiding your feelings. Maybe you should tell him? If he says he sees you as a friend, then well... you could just quit the band. Karen should stay though. She fits in well.
You leave your room and Eddie is standing there staring at you. He exclaims, "Hey uh I need to talk to you." You reply, "Funny, I need to talk to you too." He replies, "Oh good... Can I come in?" You nod and he walks in. You ask, "So, what do you need to talk about? Does it uh... does it have to do with our little act tonight?" He answers, "Yeah it does... great job by the way. I think it really worked. You're a great actress." Actress... yeah you were acting. Your shoulders deflate and you sigh. So he must not feel the same. He asks, "What's wrong? You seem upset." You answer, "Because Eddie Roundtree, I like you. And tonight's little act wasn't acting for me! I like you a lot and I want to date you if you would like to go on a date with me." His jaw drops and he exclaims, "I really like you too. Ever since I saw you sing for the first time, I knew you were it for me." You ask, "So then kiss me like you mean it?" He smirks, pushes you onto the bed, and kisses you deeply.
Your door creaks open and Eddie stays on top of you. Warren jumps and says, "Oh sh**! I thought you two were kidding when you said you were dating. I'm backing out of this room slowly or I could stay and watch. This is kind of hot." On sync, Eddie and I scream, "LEAVE!" Warren backs out of the room and Eddie collapses next to you with laughter. He says, "You smell really good. Can I stay in your bed tonight? I want to smell like you." You answer, "You can stay here, but won't you be uncomfortable sleeping in jeans?" He smirks, "Babe if you wanted to see me naked, you could just say it." You cover your face with your hands as you blush while saying, "I just want you to be comfy. I'm going to put on different clothes. I'm not sleeping in this dress." He replies, "Well babe, you looked really hot tonight. I don't know if this dress was to get my attention, but it worked. I want you to wear this on our first date." You smile and say, "I can't wait for our first date. And, I did wear this dress for you." He smiles and you kiss again.
You change into your pajamas and Eddie asks, "Is it okay to sleep in my boxers?" You answer, "Sure." He lays down in my bed and replies, "Your room is quieter than my room. Wtf! Is this how you sleep every night? I laugh and say, "Yeah. It's because I'm next door to Karen who we all know is too down bad over Graham to properly hook up with someone so it's quiet. I also don't share a wall with Warren or Billy who are little sex demons." He laughs and replies, "You're so lucky. Don't be surprised if I start sleeping in here." You laugh and reply, "I don't mind. You can take your afternoon naps here if you want as well. I usually am on my runs or reading outside at those times." He replies, "You're making me feel so spoiled." You laugh and ask, "But you have to do one thing for me, do you promise?" He asks, "What? I'd do anything for you." You answer, "I kind of wrote this song about you and I want you to listen to it. You're always really good at helping me improve my lyrics and you give me such helpful critiques. I want to eventually release this song even if not with the band. I just really like it." He smiles and replies, "A song about me? And why would you release without the band? Oh wait Billy would probably not want it because he's not the star. True." You reply, "I don't think any one of us is the star of the band. We all have star potential and star qualities. Billy is talented, but he needs to learn to compromise. The song about you is about my crush on you."
Narrator: How was the song? Eddie: It was so cute. Y/N is an amazing singer and her lyrics had me blushing so much. Her little smile as she stared at me while singing was melting my heart. I told her to change one line because I think another word fits instead of what she wrote, but it was perfect. Teddy actually helped Y/N produce and release it, which we all supported. Y/N was staying in the band, so no one minded. Y/N: Eddie was so cute when I played it. Teddy also really liked it and said it would be a summer hit. Sure enough, it was. Narrator: How was the rest of the tour? Y/N: Insane wow! I opened our summer shows to play my single with Eddie as my lead guitarist, which was fun. We'd then run off and run back on with the rest of the band. Everyone loved my song including the rest of the band. Eddie and I had fun at every show. We spent some nights drinking out with the rest of the band. Some days I wanted to have a chill night and Eddie wanted to be wherever I was, so we would spend some time with Billy in his bus. Billy and Eddie would act civil in front of me. It was nice. We had fun... until it wasn't fun anymore. The tour ended. The band broke up. Most people wouldn't talk to each other. Narrator: What about you and Eddie? Y/N: I got my stuff from Karen's place and moved in with Eddie. We shared rent, and cooking responsibilities, and just enjoyed being together. He became a music producer and helped me produce music. I've played some small venues and started creating a fan base. It's really cool to do what you love with someone you love. Eddie: Don't tell Y/N, but I'm proposing tomorrow night.

Tumblr media
You take a deep breath, reaching out your hand for the door hesitating as his fingers slid across the wooden object. You had been waiting for this moment for months, but you couldn't count the nervousness that had been growing in your core ever since Teddy and you started preparing for your album's release day.
You had told the producer that your only requirement was to listen to the album before release with all the people important to this creative process. And the day had arrived, behind that door people were waiting for you to finally hear all the effort of years, it was impossible to control your nervousness and you were failing miserably in this attempt.
You could hear the murmuring behind the door, which made you rethink whether this had all been a great idea in the first place. You feel a hand grab your wrist, and you turn around, coming face to face with the long-haired man smiling small at you.
“You okay?” Billy questions, You feel relief when you see him there, as you always felt in his presence.
“Not sure, actually.” You confess, turning to him. “I forgot how intense this is.”
“When you see everyone there being proud of you, it goes away quickly.” He gets closer to you, and your heart races.
“I don't know if they'll be proud. No one's ever heard it finished except Teddy." You say, trying your best to feel his fingertips on your hands.
“I am, you can be sure of that.” He intertwines your fingers, reassuring you in a way that even if everything falls apart he will be there. “And besides, I'm very eager to see what you came up with.”
Four months had passed since the agreement made between you and the eldest Dunne, Since then the album 'Aurora' had been a huge success and the band had played several shows around the globe. Meanwhile, the two of you always kept in touch, through calls and of course meetings here and there, you weren't sure what exactly permeated your relationship, but with each meeting you fell more with him.
Billy Dunne was an enigma, you felt so understood next to him that it was impossible to describe, every lyric you put down on paper seemed to describe him and every chord he created was like the melodies in your head. You understood each other, and each time you removed the layer of protection that life had made you create to get to know each other, you saw yourself in each other, you connected with each other, you fell in love.
That part of you wanted to keep your feet on the ground, believe that you were just friends and that was it. But now, feeling him caress your hands in an attempt to reassure you, it was almost impossible not to explode with emotions.
“I hope you like it.” That's all you manage to say.
“I'm positive I will, now, come on, pretty girl.” He holds out his hand for you to take. “Let's celebrate your rock n roll record.”
He opens the door for you, and when everyone inside cheers for you he can't help but smile. Large hanging on the wall was your album, as the center of the entire attraction, Warren drummed on the table to increase the celebratory noise, Karen clapped her hands while another whistled for you.
Little by little, they came to greet you and congratulate you on your achievement. You welcomed everyone with gratitude and gradually got excited to see them all here. To your right was a makeshift stage, so you could perform some tracks of your choice, and the band that recorded with you was among the guests having fun at the event.
“Okay y'all, everyone gather here!” Teddy calls for everyone, and little by little they approach. "Now let's listen to one of the most creative albums I've ever been a part of, our dear Y/N created a masterpiece that takes us on a rollercoaster of emotions. And I'm sure we'll celebrate that when she's at the top of the rankings.”
“To Y/N!” Billy says, raising his glass in making a toast.
“To Y/N!” The others celebrate with him.
The album was placed on the record player, you were shaking with nervousness, anxiety and at the same time afraid of what others would think. Deciding to put your hands in your pockets to hide how uncomfortable you were with this favorable space of judgment, you remained with your gaze glued to the album rotating and rotating.
“This is unbelievable…” Billy whispers against your ear, resting his hand on your lower back. “I'm speechless, really.”
You just give him a simple, happy, satisfied smile. Closing your eyes, you listen to those melodies that you had imagined for several nights emanating from the record player, trying to concentrate on what mattered, your art.
At the end of the album, the silence turns into a chorus of applause, and you, without noticing, shed a few tears of emotion. That was it, your work had been done, and you had pleased everyone and most importantly yourself.
You go up on the improvised stage and take the microphone in your hands, drawing everyone's attention.
“I'd like to thank all of you, because if you're here right now you somehow inspired me to get here. I've spent years working on my first album, working on everything you guys saw today and I'm so so so happy with the result.” It was even funny how nervous you were, you stopped and took a deep breath. “I usually say that the lyrics of a song show facets of the soul of whoever creates it, and I showed many parts of myself today to you.”
Once again the crowd applauds, you can see Warren hit a plastic fork on his beer bottle getting a laugh from Daisy. Billy watched you without being able to contain the smile on his face.
“I wanted to invite Billy to sing this song with me." He is taken by surprise but takes the stage, watching you with a clear look of questioning. “He was with me when I wrote this one, and it's my favorite on the album so…”
“Told you!” Daisy whispers to Warren, who looks at her with a lost gaze clearly focused on a black woman leaning against a distant wall.
“Yeah yeah, listen I'll be right back” He says going towards the woman, leaving the redhead with a pair of rolled eyes.
Everyone in the place hears the beat of their drummer's drumsticks indicating that the music is about to start.
Singing with Billy Dunne was inexplicable, and for a moment you wished you were Daisy and experienced it every night. Your voices flew giving reason to the melody, he looked at you with smiling eyes, feeling his body being carried away by what you had created, and to be honest you loved it. He reaches out to hold your hand, intertwining your fingers so they're in the place you both always wanted to be.
You dance around the stage, feeling the adrenaline rush that comes to you as you sing, the older Dunne watching you with pride, happiness and desire emerging more and more as well. When you finish it doesn't take long to hear the audience instead of the instruments, you all thank them and enjoy the rest of the party.
It was late, you knew that because from the window of the room you were in you could see the quiet city, as if it was waiting for you in a certain way. And despite knowing it was time to leave, something still kept you there, as if you could hold today in your hands so it wouldn't slip away as the seconds passed.
“Is there something lost in the sky?” You jump in fright when Billy's voice is heard.
“Goodnesses! Why do you keep doing that?” You say, your hand on your chest feeling your heart gallop. It was common when he was around.
He shrugs. "I'm very proud of you, this was all amazing.”
You turn around, smiling genuinely. "I'm proud of myself too, it was all so intense that I just want to stop thinking."
“I understand." He lets out a muffled laugh, you remain silent before he breaks it again. "The deal is over…”
You feel your chest tighten, questions you had asked a few times like "Did everything we went through together only involve what was agreed upon?" danced in your head again.
“Yeah…” That's all you manage to say through the knot on your throat.
“Look Y/N.” He turns to you, his eyes are dark among the dark around you and you curse yourself when you think that this was the prettiest it ever looked. “I like you, I like how everything is easy and good by your side. I just feel understood, like you see me somehow”
You watch him say, your eyes telling him to continue.
“I like us, and I don't want it to end. I don't know how you see this between us or how you want to move forward from now on but I know I don't want to give up on the way life seems to be easy with you.”
You felt like you lost your breath for a few minutes, which seemed like hours, as you saw the breeze ruffle a few strands of the man's long hair in front of you. You smile, a smile that came from deep in your chest and the great honesty of your soul.
You simply kiss him, and feel him smile against your lips. Both of Dunne's arms wrap around your waist and pull you closer, trying to smell you and know every millimeter of your body. You feel the intensity of the kiss grow, and he pushes you lightly against the open window, making the breeze feel on your back.
You break the kiss to observe his face illuminated only by the light, his smile was big and his matched yours. You kiss his nose and then place a light kiss on his mouth.
“I like us too, and you'll not get rid of me easily.” He laughs at your words and kisses you once again.
“I don't even want to.”
Footsteps in the hallway are heard, if you were paying attention you would know that it was two people for sure. Daisy stops abruptly in the doorway, her green eyes wide as she comes face to face with the scene you were staring. She stops Rojas as he walks, holding him with one arm and drawing his attention to the couple kissing in the room.
“Damn.” Rojas says under his breath. “Fuck, I lost fifty bucks!”
Daisy smiles victoriously, pulling Warren to leave you and Billy Dunne alone in your world.

This is by no means an comprehensive list of aftg fic I very much adore and since I don’t know what you like it’s kind of a wild mix. But maybe there is something that catches your eye (and you don’t already know). Sometimes I have shortened the summaries to just a few tags so you might want to look that up for further information. It’s also a lot of AUs and so far only Neil/Andrew. If you are also interested in Kevin, Jean, Jeremy in some kind of combination- that’s a whole other list. If you’ve got questions, let me know. Otherwise: Enjoy :)
Push to talk by alexjosten | Firewatch AU: Neil needs a fresh start. He has a new name and a new job in the middle of nowhere, miles away from anything to do with Exy. The only person he speaks to is Andrew, who knows nothing about him... until Neil's past catches up with him.
And we‘ll be running by allysavedtheday | Band AU: It had been six months ago when Kevin called him, sounding drunk off his ass and on the verge of a breakdown, begging Neil for help as guitarist for The Monsters until Andrew comes back. First it was just something to vill the void. Now he doesn’t want to leave..
Sleeping with ghosts by boybeaulieu | Band AU / breakup and makeup: The Band AU where Andrew and his Monsters learn how to deal with notoriety while performing for an emo, grunge crowd. But what kind of musician has never experienced heartbreak? Not even Andrew, apparently.
Andrew Minyard‘s Diary by fuzzballsheltiepants | Bridget Jones AU: In which Andrew is Bridget Jones, Kevin is Daniel Cleaver, and Neil is Mark Darcy. Except none of them are like their inspiration characters at all.
We used to be friends by gluupor | Veronica Mars AU
No mourners, no funerals by gluupor | Six of Crows AU
Pie another day by gluupor | Basically a Pushing Daisies AU: very humorous
Murder boyfriends by justadreamfox | High School AU / Inspired by the movie heathers: It’s 1989. Riko Moriyama rules Westerburg High School and The Butcher rules Baltimore. Neil and Andrew are so, so over it. Shit’s about to get real
Such a fool for sacrifice by likeareacord | Bodyguard AU: Neil is a successful author with a stalker who seems to know a little too much about his past. He needs a bodyguard for his upcoming book tour. Enter: Andrew Minyard.
Meow Meow Lullaby by moonix | Library AU: When the existence of their library is threatened, rival librarians Neil and Andrew must team up to save it.
Much Ado by puddlejumper99 | Shakespeare AU: Loosely following the plot of Shakespeare's Much Ado About Nothing, avowed bachelor Neil is determined never to marry, and also determined to insult Andrew into an early grave. Meanwhile, Riko is plotting to ruin Matt and Dan's wedding.
(dont‘t fear) the reaper srcibbleb_red | Under world AU: Andrew and Neil don’t meet in life. They meet in limbo. Andrew is a Reaper – a ‘ferryman’ charged with taking the souls of the recently deceased through limbo to the Other Side. Neil wakes up dead – killed by his father – or so he believes. But as ever for our Foxes, nothing is ever as simple as it seems.
honey don‘t feed me (I will come back) by talls | Greek Mythology AU: There’s a new god in the pantheon; Andrew remembers hearing about the scandal a while back, the newest Demeter having a child with the current Zeus and then going on the run, child in tow. They call him Persephone, the god of springtime and new life, the antithesis of Andrew's realm. It would be ludicrous of Persephone to ever interact with Andrew at all. If only someone told Persephone that.
under the kitchen lights by ephemeralsky | Neighbours AU: in which Andrew and Neil are neighbors who do various neighborly things
Back to the start by fuzzballsheltiepants | Amenesia / hurt/comfort: Andrew has been on his pro team for 6 months when he takes a ball to the head. Neil flies to Boston to see him - only to find that Andrew doesn't remember him.
Feels like falling by gluupor | Post canon / Getting back together: After college Andrew left behind both exy and Neil. Five years later, he’s built himself a stable life with nothing wanting. Or so he thinks, until a chance encounter brings him back in contact with Neil.
hello world by lolainslackss | Canon Divergence / Enemies to lovers / Professional Exy: Everyone on the US national team knows that Andrew Minyard and Neil Josten hate each other, so of course they all think it's hilarious to force them to share a room in the name of 'team harmony' for the entirety of the Exy World Cup.
LIFE SAVER!!! this is wonderful tysm<3 very excited about a lot of these. that firewatch au… and the underworld one….
totally get you about it being a wild mix btw. i’m the first to admit i can be pretty picky about characterisation but with these books you could genuinely be reading the wildest of au’s and it could still be incredibly in character (and vice versa). so i’m up to try a lot and this is giving me a whole lot to try!!

Hi! for the spotify ask: 6, 18, and 27
Also I think it'd be neat if you wrote a fic based on the lyrics if you feel inspired 😊
Not going to lie this took an unexpected turn with one of the little fics I made based on the songs 🙈. Hope you enjoy! And thank you! Wouldn't mind trying my hand at doing more tbh.
6.: Still/The Neva Flows (reprise) by Ramin Karimloo & Christy Altomare (song from the Anastasia musical)
🎶 The children
Their voices
A man makes painful choices
He does what's necessary, Anya
For Russia, my beauty
What choice but simple duty 🎶
Short fic set around after s2 and between s3 possibly, the seasons mush together in my head
The screams from the druid camps haunt Arthur in his sleep, the women, the men, but most of all it is the children that come back to him at night during his dreams.
He tells himself that it is for the greater good, that magic only ever brought pain and destruction upon Camelot, upon his kingdom, whenever he awakens in the morning, still shaken by what he saw by what he did.
Perhaps, this is why he takes part in any and all raids himself, not only because he is searching for Morgana. That he has to be present, needs to do his duty, follow in his father's footsteps.
Where else could he go now?
He is not King yet, he can't backtrack on his father's stance on magic, and after all he has seen, Arthur cannot bring himself to readily accept magic as a force for good. Morgause was the one that took Morgana away, magic took his mother away, magic... made his father into what he is.
Made Arthur what he is. A man makes painful choices, a Prince has no choice in the duties he has to do. At least that is what he tells himself after another scorhed camp, more cries to fill his head, another day to add to the tally of Morgana being gone. Arthur cannot imagine what she would think of him if she knew what he has been doing. He could argue about the necessities of his actions, but he knows that it would be a futile argument with Morgana; but there is nothing he wouldn't give to have her shout his head off, to hear her voice again.
18. Please by Daisy Jones & The Six
🎶 Please, I'm down on my knees
I have a family
Please, it's an awful disease 🎶
&
🎶Oh, please give me a second chance
Please, I'm the worst at this
I need you to say no, please🎶
Arthur & Morgana have an affair, set in modern times, smutty, honestly pure filth, he is cheating on his wife
Arthur knows he should not be railing the raven-haired woman, Morgana, on top of his desk inside his office, not with the party happenong outside. Not with his wife present, his father present. But he cannot help himself with her, one look, one suggestive curl of those red lips of hers and he is a goner. His mouth latches onto her neck, his grip on her thighs tightening as his lips brush against her necklace, his gift for her birthday from a year ago.
The pendant dangles low between her breasts, an inscription within it, a short quote from the book she gave him for Christmas, three years ago. The blond man looks up at her as he pulls back from her neck, desperate to catch at least a glimpse of her pleasured expression, of Morgana with her guard down, a sight he came to treasure and desire to possess more than anything in the world.
Her fingers curl in his hair and without a word he pulls away from her completely and gets between her spread legs, he eats her out, like a man famished. He does not stop until he has her begging and even then he goes on some more before composing himself enough to stand and cup her face in his hands making sure that she is alright.
He kisses her forehead as they embrace, her leg nudging his body to be flush against hers. "Morgana..." he starts, he truly should be stepping away now, for good, finish their affair once and for all. Return to the party, to his wife, but as his eyes meet hers again, his fate is sealed. Her mouth returns to his, her soft moans fill his ears, her scent, the feel of her around his length.
The cycle continues on, there is no end in sight, not between them, the constant push and pull that defines their entire relationship, makes it impossible for either of them to ever truly break up.
27. Cosimo & Contessina by Paolo Buonvino from the i Medici soundtrack, no lyrics (just vibes)
I suppose this is a half-baked attempt at the idea of Arthur as King and Morgana as Queen, once again au. I wrote this while listening to the music on repeat, and just jotting down what came to my mind.
They have built something together, a legacy to last for generations to come, the Pendragon name equal with that of legends. And yet there is a discord between them, there always has been.
A matter that brought great dichotomy for all that came to the royal court for an audience, to find the King and Queen be in disagreement over so many rulings and yet rule as one, have a family as one, a happy one at that. For as much as Arthur and Morgana disagreed on matters, there were many other causes they agreed on, found compromise if necessary.
Her fiery sense of justice found a home in the calmness of his own. While giving him room to express himself, to become the King he was always meant to be, to become what Camelot wanted, what she wanted.
And Morgana was the Queen that she was always meant to be, what she was born to be for Camelot. Having her champion by her side, having his ears on all matters, somebody she could confide in and sooth her worries, while she aided him in his own troubles.
