Scrooge McDuck, Huey, Dewey and Louie, Donald Duck and Webby Vanderquack - Ducktales 1987 - Scrooge Week - Day 1 - Fortune - My redraw - Duckverse - My version - Happy birthday Scrooge McDuck!

I know I'm already late, but here's something to do about Scrooge Week and on a special Fortune-themed day. Yes, based on the 1988 Ducktales children's book called "Silver Dollars for Uncle Scrooge" where the nephews and Webby throw a birthday party for Uncle Scrooge who celebrates on the 8th of July. It is a written story written by Gina Ingoglia and illustrated by Willy Ito. That means Scrooge McDuck is celebrating his birthday today and I wish him a happy birthday. Although for me his birthday is more November 14th since he first appeared in the 1947 Carl Barks "Christmas on Bear Mountain" comic strip, but hey, Scrooge has two birthdays too, as do Donald, Daisy, Gyro and the Donalds nephews Huey, Dewey and Louie Duck. Well, since Scrooge McDuck loves money the most and considers it his fortune, I decided to draw a redraw from the famous Ducktales intro scene, but I added Donald and Webby to my drawing. Since it's not all about money, there's something about family too, right? Of course they are all together in the Money Bin in Scrooge's vault watching Scrooge enjoy the money, except for his nephew Donald, as he is usually grumpy. It's a shame that the OG Ducktales didn't feature Donald more, as it would have been interesting to see the interactions between Scrooge and Donald, as hilarious as they are in the comics.

Yes, I drew in the Ducktales 1987 version, but in my own way, since it's my favorite Ducktales, even though I prefer the comics, this is still a nostalgia I miss a lot. Yes, Scrooge often likes to swim in his money in his famous way. And there's Huey, Dewey and Louie Duck helping him out plus Webby with her Quacky Patch doll. My only apology is that my drawing turned out a little bad due to my quick coloring, as well as about the shape of the coin. But I hope you like this idea and this drawing. In celebration of the Poppy Playtime Chapter 4 trailer coming out, I thought it'd be fun to finally post the concept drawings I had done all the way back when chapter 2 originally came out. 🌼

I thought it'd be fun to design and write an antagonist that wants to help the player but is also still a threat due to their unstable nature. Having been rejected and thrown away, Daisy can be clingy and possessive of the player, turning aggressive at times if they feel the player is trying to abandon them.

I also thought it would be fun to add the Prototype as part of the story, taking the reins of Daisy when they decide to let you free. I was inspired by the scene in Coraline with the Other Father (no big spoilers for anything, iykyk) as well as Junji Ito's story, "House of Puppets".

I thought having a chase scene where the threat can only go after you if the ceiling tiles were designed to allow them to move there would be interesting. Not only that, Daisy could also help guide you to safe areas where they know the Prototype can't drag them.

I also thought having quick-time events where you gradually break each thread holding the Marionette until there is one left would be a fun boss fight.

I wasn't planning to post this, but I also don't want it to collect dust forever on my laptop. The character belongs to Mob Entertainment, but feel free to use the concept if you have any fun ideas to add on! If you do, be sure to tag me! I'd love to hear what y'all have to say!

who is the color artist for PK why are there so many characters with bright pink??

this is a very well drawn panel and hatching/composition aside. how many floors does Ducklair have? because im assumig this isn't part of the 101 floors donald counted (i hope theres inter-city tunnels for quick travel or something i would love that)

not censoring angus bc this is a #real momment. also aww look at that scrooge :) hes so happy

okay i loveee this composition. the bottom panel basically being a full page spread is really cool (the white is probably mainly just for bleed space)

the hatching on this comic is really good so far! and coloring wise i think i feel like its strongest when it has funky lighting like in the last panel. like the purple here:

im sure the normal scenes will grow on me, but for right now some of the character's neutral colors clash a bit with the background for me

The Ultimatum

Copyright: I do not own any Marvel characters or locations. However, I do own my OCs, which consist of Penny Fury, Elizabeth Nelson, Elijah Chan, Katya Venice, Violetta Moscow, Lan Le, Josh, Trang Tien, Ahni Jallow, Mai Ito, and Ghaida Kashual as well as other OCs that will come up throughout the story.

Penny woke up against Rhodey and peered down at the still sleeping man, smiling a little to herself. She kissed his cheek and rolled out of bed, walking over to his closet to find something to wear. 

She pulled on one of his navy blue t-shirts before hearing him stir behind her. 

"There's girl clothes in the bottom drawer if you need them." His voice croaked out, the sounds of sheets being thrown off of him. 

Penny turned to see him stretching, watching her as he yawned, before swinging his legs over the side of the bed, getting to his feet, stumbling to the bathroom. 

She found the drawer and pulled on a pair of white short shorts. 

Once Rhodey got dressed, the two of them headed downstairs to breakfast, finding the room already crowded. Plenty of food had been made by Wanda, Elizabeth, and Ahni, the dishes filling the counters like a buffet style bar. 

Everyone from last night was there. Heimdall was standing in the corner, burping Mateo. Fandral was playing with Chamber while feeding him. Shuri was holding Rue, cooing to her and making soft noises. Kisa was giggling as Loki and Quil made faces at her while she was in Elijahs' arms. Andres was in Gamora's arms while Mai fed her. Like always, Anastasia was in Natasha's arms. 

Ghaida, Thor, and Carol were feeding Parvati and Padme in their high chairs while they fussed, not actually wanting to eat. Valentine was with T'Challa and Nebula while Long was with Clint and Lan, Katya having finished feeding him. 

Daisy was squealing as Tony tossed her up in the air while Trang watched with an exasperated look on her face, looking like she wanted to rap Tony over the head with a wooden spoon. Penny noticed then that Trang had bandages around her head and wondered what she had done. Stephen was also hovering around her. Steve was helping Vision and Sif feed Billy and Tommy. 

Like always, seeing all of the children being taken care of warmed Penny's heart. She approached Fandral to greet Chamber with a good morning kiss, the Asgardian man handing their son over. 

She sat between Okoye and Pietro, Pietro deciding it was his job to make Chamber- and Penny- laugh while they ate. Okoye was making it her job that Chamber ate without getting food down his front- an impossible task. 

As the breakfast was coming to a close, dishes being put in the sink, Elizabeth asked everyone if she could talk to them for a few minutes. 

Penny looked over at her. She looked nervous, her eyes darting between all of them. Once everyone had settled back down, she started. 

"Obviously last night came to a shock to all of us." Her eyes flickered to Heimdall. "Almost all of us." 

She paused, looking down at her hands as she pressed her palms together. "I know a lot of you probably wonder what's going on in my head. How I feel." She looked up at them. "I feel the same as I did before. . . at least about you guys. But. . . I need some time." 

She raised a hand as Tony looked like he was going to say something. 

"The thing is, even though I'm sure of how I feel about you guys. . . I have no idea of who I really am. I have all of these memories, but it still feels like my life was cut up in sections. Like these different parts of my life all belonged to someone else. I need to figure out myself before I can be with anyone. And. . . and for that I need to go home." 

Penny glanced at Elijah, who didn't seem surprised by this proclamation. In fact, none of them did and she realized- she didn't either. This made complete sense and Penny had known from the first day she arrived at the tower that Elizabeth had been homesick then. Of course she wanted to go back now. 

"And. . . I need to do it alone." Elizabeth finished, looking back down at her hands. She fidgeted a little. "I would like to bring the kids with me, if that's okay. Obviously, I'll make sure that you guys see them and all that, I would never dream of keeping them away from you, but I also need them with me-" 

"Okay." Bucky and Heimdall said at the same time. 

"Of course." Elijah whispered softly. 

She breathed out and nodded. 

"Can we go with you?" Katya asked, looking down at her hands. "I mean, obviously we'd leave you be when we get there. . . but I want to see my family too Elizabeth." 

Here, Elizabeth's lips twitched into a smile, "It's not like I own Ohio Kat. Of course you can see your family, you don't need my permission. And of course, if any of you wanted to go with them, that's also fine of course. But I just need my time." 

"Agreed." Vision nodded, which did surprise Penny. 

"Of course." Steve murmured. 

"I. . ." Here Elizabeth looked guilty and looked between Fury, Rhodey, T'Challa, Bucky, and Sam. "No matter if I'm ready or not, when I near my due date, I will come back. No matter what. But I'm sorry that- I mean if you want me to wai-" 

"No." Penny's father interrupted whatever Elizabeth was going to say. "Babydoll, please take your time. As long as I'm there for the birth of the kids, everythings' okay. I just want you to get better and I know the rest of us feel the same." 

Penny was a little amused with her father. It definitely didn't leave the other four any room to argue against him. 

Elizabeth was silent again for a moment before her eyes flicked over to her friends, "Look. Whatever past we have behind us. . . if you-" 

"You're stupid." Ghaida said in an almost fond voice before Elizabeth could even say what she wanted to say. Penny didn't blame Elizabeth for looking taken aback. 

"Huh?" Clint voiced everyone elses' confusion. 

Ghaida rolled her eyes and Steve shifted in his seat. "Elizabeth believes that we were just her friends because of her mother. You should be a little smarter than that Eliza. You're our sister and we love you just as such. Nothing changes that." 

Elizabeth smiled a little and shrugged, "Wasn't always the smartest." 

"Still aren't." Trang quipped, before hugging her from behind. 

"And. . ." Elizabeth hesitated again, looking at Heimdall and then Wanda. "Being the Goddess of love. . . I don't suppose I've used my powers there, have I? Was Riri right, or half right?" 

"About what?" Riri asked, confused, while also looking guilty at the same time. Elizabeth addressed her. 

"When you said that maybe the Avengers were under a love spell. . . maybe I did do that." Elizabeth said uncertainly. "And maybe that's why I was always pursued by everyone. I mean, even my own step-mother wanted me for herself and killed my dad over it. . . me." Her face paled. Her eyes flicked over at Bucky, who was rigid in his seat. "And maybe that's why I could break through the soldier-" 

"No." Heimdall answered for her. "Your powers don't work like that. No one you've met in your entire life has ever been under any sort of love magic. Anyone in this room and out of it that has loved you or does love you, does it of their own accord." 

Penny could see how relieved Elizabeth looked with this information. 

"And, lastly." Elizabeth said softly, looking at Loki. "Last year around this same time you mentioned a bonding ceremony, something that would marry all of us. Some of us said that we needed time. I still need time but. . ." 

She broke off and Elijah touched her shoulder. She breathed out, closing her eyes, "The thing is, I'm selfish. I don't want to lose any of you." She opened her eyes, scanning the room. "But I will, because of how slowly I age." She gripped Elijahs' hand suddenly, as though she needed something to ground herself. "Loki, Thor, Hogun, Fandral, Volstagg, Sif, Heimdall, Steve, Bucky, Nick, Vision, Bruce, Natasha, Ghaida, myself, maybe Stephen. . . we're all going to live for a really long time." 

"Loki will outlive you two." She said, gesturing to Tony and Stephen, "Unless Stephen manages to keep himself alive with dark magic like the Ancient one. Bucky and Steve will outlive Sam. Thor will outlive Penny. Nick will outlive Penny and Maria and Phil. Vision will outlive Wanda. I'll. . . I'll. . ." She swallowed, unable to continue. 

"My point is, that this ceremony Loki suggested will tie us in with their life lines." Elizabeth said, staring at Loki, "right?" 

"Yes." Loki murmured. 

The room was silent for a moment before Elizabeth continued again, "I'm not pressuring anyone into it, I don't even really want to hear an answer right now. I just thought we should have time to think about it and when I come back. . . maybe we could have another discussion." 

"I think that sounds good." Lan said, looking over at Katya. 

"Okay that was that." Elizabeth said, quickly sitting back from the table as though hoping she would disappear from view. 

"I just have a question." Tony said, looking at Heimdall. "Everything that you chose to make happen. . . did it really need to happen?" 

Heimdall nodded to Wanda and closed his eyes. Wanda stood up, walking over to him, putting her hands near the sides of his head and a similar holographic cloud, not unlike the one that had shown Elizabeth's memories appeared in the middle of the table. 

"There were some, of course, that went very similarly, but with more death." Heimdall said slowly. Penny watched as Lan, Mai, Ahni, Josh, and Jay were all killed. Katya gasped out loud while Mai flinched, wrapping her arms around Ahni. 

"And others. . ." Heimdall drifted off. 

This vision showed Howard Stark in the car with the little Elizabeth, but this time pulling up to a mansion. Time skipped a little as Tony was born very soon after and soon went from being her little brother, to being her older brother. 

When Howard and Maria were killed in the car accident, Elizabeth took over Stark industries while Tony continued on being more like a playboy. And so Elizabeth was the one who ended up in Afghanistan. Elizabeth was the one that became the first Iron Woman. 

Loki eventually came to Earth and recognized Elizabeth immediately, who introduced him to Tony. When Killian came however in the future, Tony died. 

"Oh." Stephen whispered, flinching a little. 

"There are many futures like that." Heimdall said with a slow nod, the cloud disappearing. "Ones where you all died, ones where she died. This was the safest one, only one death." 

"Jays." Trang whispered softly. 

Heimdall looked at her. "I'm sorry Trang. There were no futures like this one if Jay stayed alive. You would give birth to Daisy and he would have you give her up to Tony because she was not his daughter. I couldn't let that happen to you or Tony or Daisy." 

Trang nodded, tears coming to her eyes. 

"There were more complicated ones." Heimdall continued. "Ones where some of you got sent back in time. There was another that was a desperate attempt done by your mother where you got sent into another universe on a dinosaur island. Just about everyone died in that world." 

"You're joking." Rhodey said, raising an eyebrow. 

Heimdall just looked at him. 

"Okay, not joking." Rhodey muttered. 

"What's a dinosaur?" Volstagg asked, still eating sausages. 

No one answered him. 

"So this was the only path." Steve clarified. 

"In my mind." Heimdall answered. 

"I would agree." Ghaida nodded. 

There was silence in the kitchen. 

"I think now would be a good time to tell you guys something." Her father said, stepping forwards. 

"What?" Tony asked grouchily. 

"With this information, you have to promise not to kill the prisoner that is being moved here today." Fury said, crossing his arms over his chest. That got everyone's attention. 

"No!" Ghaida suddenly gasped, eyes orange, snapping her head towards Penny's father. "What were you thinking?" 

Elizabeth had suddenly gone very pale, standing up, clutching the counter for support. 

"When I saw what happened in Elizabeth's memories." Her father started slowly, looking only at Elizabeth. "I knew I had to admit that he was alive. He'll be a prisoner here, have his own cell. No one will know he is here, Stark will see to that. He's. . . well your way of getting your anger out. Which is why you won't kill him. Because he doesn't deserve death." 

"Who did you bring here?" Natasha asked in a deadly quiet voice. 

"Pierce." Elizabeth choked out. 

Bucky shot to his feet, Steve right after him, pulling Bucky into his arms. "Buck!" 

"Where is he?" Bucky snarled, thrashing in Steve's arms. Thor was immediately there with Heimdall, the three huge men trying to keep him down. 

Bruce immediately relinquished Valentine from his arms. T'Challa wrapped his arms around him, hugging him so that Bruce would keep the hulk in. 

Penny felt her own rage, finding herself on her feet, wanting to find Pierce and stab him through the neck. 

"Loki." Her father addressed the furious God. "I want a spell done on him. A healing one. So he can be harmed over and over again." 

Loki's blue eyes glittered and a cruel smirk came over his face. "Consider it already done." 

"I want to talk to him first." Elizabeth's voice rang out over the commotion in the kitchen. It calmed Bucky down at the very least. 

"Elizabeth." Steve started, worry lacing his voice. 

"Please? Where is he?" Elizabeth asked quietly. 

"He's down under the tower." Fury replied. "Floor zero."

Tony huffed, not knowing that Fury had known about that floor and exchanged a look with Trang. 

Elizabeth swept from the room to the elevator. 

Bucky lunged out of Steve's arms, racing for the same elevator, Steve and Sam taking off after him. Loki was quick to follow after that. Penny shook her head, looking over at her father. "Why?" 

"Because he needs to feel pain." Her father answered. "And here's a whole group, more than willing, to give it to him."

I recently discovered the song 'ceilings' by Lizzy McAlpine and it absolutely destroyed me (I'm obsessed). and for visuals I'm loving Kyoko Okazaki's work right now (I'm thinking of a tattoo inspired by her art soon) 🎀

I recently watched Sugar & Spice for the first time (I have reblogged it lots already I know lol) and it was so funny, very similar to Drop Dead Gorgeous if you like darker comedy high school movies!

5. What is a fashion movement, era, or item, that has made a big impact on your personal aesthetic?

90s fashion is my FAVE always and I love everything from that decade, I also love the 1960s 'Dolly' fashion, Kinderwhore, Gyaru and anything girly, but with a bit of edge to it. Anything with frills, lace, pink, mini skirts and cute prints have my heart 💓

6. What is a fashion movement, era, or item, that you're currently obsessed with?

at the moment I'm really excited for autumn so I'm looking forward to wearing turtlenecks and plaid skirts again, plus the twilightcore aesthetic is one of my faves for the season!

7. What is a book, poem, essay, etc. that made a big impact on you?

Lolita absolutely, blew my mind when I first read it and I never knew books could be written in such a way. when I was about 10-14, Jacqueline Wilson's books were everything to me and especially the ones meant for older kids such as My Sister Jodie, Love Lessons and the Girls in Love series were my favourites (also she's a queer icon so hell yeah). and Flowers in the Attic by VC Andrews introduced me to the gothic genre and I fell in love with it ever since. Recently, Sula by Toni Morrison was a book that pushed the boundaries of what I even thought could be possible in Literature and I adore her writing!

Nagisa: Ahaha...Thanks a lot. I really got myself a lovely charm!

Enomura-sama’s eyes were welling with tears, but her smile was no longer cloudy.

Nagisa: …..Well, I'm off now.

As I watched her return, a sigh came out naturally.

Ito: .…..That sure was something...

Kiho: Agreed. I think it takes more courage than you could ever imagine. I hope it goes well.

Ito: Oh. Yeah... Well, that was very strong of Enomura-sama.

But the one who also amazed me here was Kiho-san.

Kiho: I didn't do much. All I did was craft my words to be harmless. Ito did even more marvelous job.

That yellow daisy you picked really cheered her up.

Ito: You think so? I’m glad to hear that... Anyway, it’s too humble of you to say something as if you haven’t just done something amazing.

From the moment you guessed the reason for her leaving, it was a series of great things from start to finish.

I literally got goosebumps when you found out about the proposal through fortune telling.

Kiho: Oh. I actually had a hunch even before the fortune telling. 

Ito: Seriously?

Kiho: Just a little observation and deduction. Do you remember the flower arrangement she reserved?

Ito: 9 Gerberas….

Kiho: Did you look up its meaning?

Gerberas were also chosen for the bookmark design. In flower language, they are “hope” and “always moving forward.”

Ito: I can only think of obvious reasons like there being a certain number of people who would find it annoying to receive one...

As soon as I realized that he was smiling the same way as he did back then, I felt as if the dots were connected. When Kiho-san can't put everything into words, he just smiles beautifully like this. Instead of trying to falsify something that can’t be shown, he shows them what they can't see.

Ito: (.…This person himself is like a flower.)

Kiho-san, please make sure to take a break. You’ve worked hard.

Kiho: Yeah. Thank you.

Without putting my thoughts into words, I quietly returned the chair that she had pulled out to its place. Kiho-san’s smile that didn’t seem to follow me too intently was as beautiful as always.

A few hours later, we finally saw off the last customer.

Ito: Thank you, I’ll let you know if I need one. There's only trivial stuff now, so that should be all for today... Ah.

Kiho: I already repacked the items that I don't think I'll use anytime soon and stacked them in the aisle.

Mao: Nope. Let's call it a day.

Ito: Thank you for staying up so late. Be careful on your way home.

Kiho: You too, Ito. Yuzuru said he would go with you, so don't go out alone.

Mao, if you don't have any plans after this, how about I give you a ride home? I came by car today.

Mao: Oh? If you’re fine with it, I'll take you up on that.

Kiho: Sure. The trains will be crowded at this time on Saturdays anyway.

I quickly started packing up after closing time. Now I can finally breathe a sigh of relief at the familiar sight… Before my body tensed up again.

In the restaurant where I thought there was no one… Onda-san was sitting alone in a corner, resting his chin on his palm.

Ito: (That sent me a chill. His presence was so little that I couldn’t help but startle once I saw him.)

Ito: .……Good work.

Tomose: Oh. You’re done?

Ito: Yes. Kiho-san and Mao-san have just left.

Tomose: And you?

Ito: ………I just thought I'd turn off the lights and lock the door.

Tomose: No need. Yu is coming soon.

Ito: Nina-san?

Tomose: He’s preparing lunch for tomorrow.

Ito: Ah...I see.

I nodded at Onda-san, who looked away from me as if he had lost interest or wasn't even that interested in the first place. But before I stepped out, my feet stopped.

Ito: (.……He’s probably tired, not that he’s the type to chat cheerfully anyway. It’s probably best not to talk about unnecessary things.)

Tomose: What?

Ito: As a result, I spent more time outside the kitchen today. I'm sorry that I left most of the work to you.

But thanks to that... Uh, that might have come off as inappropriate, but I was able to keep a close eye on the customers in the dining area all day.

The food was really well received. There were also lots of compliments on the presentation.

Tomose: ……

Ito: It was really helpful to have Onda-san join us. Thank you very much.

Well, I just wanted to express my gratitude. Sorry for saying that out of nowhere. I will excuse myself now...

Tomose: I simply acted as instructed.

I soon realized what Onda-san was talking about, but I immediately thought that he might have been a bit off here. What I was able to put into words at that time were more vague, superficial, and insignificant personal feelings. I couldn't explain in an orderly manner why I felt that way, or why I wanted to do that. I didn't say it. Or more like, I couldn't say it. This person just collected and ran with it from there.

Tomose: Although I don't think the instruction was given after a thorough understanding of Yu’s personality and preferences.,,,

I was convinced that it’s a way to show respect to someone you don't understand. So I merely followed suit.

Ito: …….

Tomose: In the end, if my work was adequate from a business aspect, then that was an accurate instruction.

There's no need for one-sided gratitude. Both you and I simply fulfilled our duty. That's all.

Ito: (Woah.)

Despite being aware that my apology and gratitude could be deemed unnecessary, I went ahead and did it anyway. The reply I got may not be “Same here” or “Thank you for your hard work.” Obviously, not even a smile…. But Onda-san’s unwavering words somehow made me incredibly happy.

Ito: (.…..Never have I thought Onda-san would say something like that to me.)

Tomose: Enough with that………Do I have to say something back too?

Ito: !? No, not at all.

I was browsing some old movies today and stumbled on this one - "Daisy" This movie shooked my mental and emotional health😁. Ang ganda ng Movie na ito, at talagang pinaiyak😭 ako ng sobra. It gave me valuable lessons about opportunities, love at the moment and life itself.

Here's a little info on this movie...

"Daisy" is a Korean movie released in 2006. It is a romantic drama film directed by Hong Kong filmmaker Andrew Lau. The story revolves around the lives of three main characters: Hye-young, Jeong Woo, and Park Yi.

Hye-young, played by Jun Ji-hyun, is an artist who works at a florist shop called Daisy in Amsterdam. One day, she meets Jeong Woo, played by Jung Woo-sung, a street artist. They develop a mutual attraction but are unable to express their feelings due to their circumstances. Been really stressed lately and when I get stressed I make blorbo stuff so uh. Here’s the mock-up thumbnail I did for an animatic idea I had but will probably never make

Okay so, basically I listened to Ace of Hearts by Zella Day and went “oh this would fit my blorbos so well” and then I planned out the entire thing in my head and did this as a stress reliever. Also Anton’s outfit is my idea for the Dead Men’s uniforms, I put a lot of care into designing it because I’m sure I don’t need to tell you that a lot of elements that military uniforms have have very bad connotations and I wanted to avoid all of those elements at all costs. I also decided that all the Sanctuary uniforms would have flowers on them. This will both make them look nicer and also less real. Like when you look at these designs you can instantly tell they wouldn’t be used by anyone in real life which is good. Also!!! The flowers on the DM uniform are deadly nightshade, but the ones on the medical uniforms are *drumroll please* daisies. Daisies symbolize healing so I had to do it because like. That would add a whole other level to Anton naming his rifle Daisy. Naming your gun after the flowers on the uniform of the doctor you’re in love with is just extraordinarily down bad (affectionate). I also made the gist in the background as kind of a style study of Junji Ito. This thumbnail was supposed to convey the fact that both of these characters are just very deeply tragic, a true star-crossed lovers type deal in my opinion.
