Came up with a really silly theory that the trucker at the end of Toy Story 3 who picks up Lotso and attaches him to the front of his lorry is Daisy post-transition
#daisy as in lotso’s previous owner#my only evidence for this is that given the fashion styles shown in lotso’s flashbacks; daisy has to be deep into adulthood by now#plus the trucker says he used to have a bear like that when he was a kid#broke: andy’s mom is emily (jessie’s former kid). woke: toys don’t come alive until someone plays with them#bespoke: the trucker is daisy#(all my theories. because how did andy find out jessie’s name was jessie? he named her jane for a second there. woody’s roundup#isn’t a famous show. someone had to’ve gone ‘that’s a jessie doll’ 🧐)#sorry no one cares about this i’m well aware. compels ME though and this is my blog#personal

Don't be mad at Bonnie for what happened with Woody, be mad at Pixar, who wants to make every girl kid in the Toy Story universe look bad.
Jessie's owner Emily? Donated her when she got to old.
Bo Peeps true owner, Andy's sister Molly? Was just like "meh, bye Bo". Does the same to Barbie.
Lotso's previous kid, Daisy? Loses and replaces him, causing him to become a villian.
The little girl at the end of Toy Story 2 in the air port? She colors on her toys, so she's the ultimate punishment for Stinky Pete.
Sid's little sister Hannah? Nice enough, probably the nicest girl in all the movies, takes care of Buzz.
Harmony in the new movie also yeets Gabby Gabby.
Bonnie is also very nice to the toys in 3 and ALL the Toy Story Toons and TV specials, until this movie she has a SUDDEN lukewarm feeling about Woody. Just cause.
But Andy? Oh Andy, the BOY? He is but God! He would never do harm to a toy! Never reject a toy! He is the savior!! The Messiah! Would never treat a toy as a GIRL would!
Give me a break

I'm the anon who asked what Tim Allen said that freaked you out. Thanks for the links. I read the transcript and I'm really excited for this movie even more! Honestly, I never liked Bonnie. I have an admitted bias for Andy, but, even putting that aside, Bonnie's corny personality grated on me from the start. So, if she turns out to be a bad owner, I'll feel a little vindicated in my distaste for her, lol. I hope they find their way back into Andy's life. It's a stretch, but it's my ideal.
That’s cool anon, you’re entitled to your own opinion. That being said, I’m like 99% sure Andy isn’t gonna be in this, unless maaaaaaybe in the flashback, and here’s why:
I could be totally wrong here, but it seems to me that this movie is a lot less about the Toys’ relationship with their owner. The original trilogy already hit most of the notes that you could pull from that kind of story line, so it would seem sort of redundant to go down that path again, especially since there’s people who don’t want them to make this movie in the first place because they feel like three was enough.
Plus there’s this quote by Director Josh Cooley:
“I think of 3 as the end of Woody’s time with Andy. So now he’s in this brand new room, this is the beginning of his time with Bonnie... That puts him in a situation that we’ve never seen before, and a lot of great stuff came out of that... This has been a tricky balance. This is right in line with the other films, but it’s not repeating anything that we’ve done before. It’s new, but it feels familiar, which is a tough thing to do.”
Personally I really liked Bonnie. I thought 3 was really beautiful in the way that it ended, that our characters got another chance to be loved again, and that life is about growth and moving forward, and not letting bitter feelings of the past consume you. From what we’ve seen, Bonnie is sweet and unique, creative in how she plays but also different from Andy which was so important to the series.
The little snippet we got from Tim Allen was SO small, so I’m still pretty skeptical that she’s purposely neglecting the toys. If anything I think maybe she made one mistake, like how Daisy left Lotso behind in 3 which is a super innocent accidental thing to do (what kid didn’t do this at some point?).
I don’t think it would be wise of Pixar to stir the pot too much and mess with the previous movies, and they’ve just got to know that. If they mess with the ending of 3 too much by contradicting it in 4, a lot of people will unhappy because they thought it was the perfect ending.
But once again, this is just my opinion. You can take it all with a grain of salt, because there’s not enough concrete stuff out there yet.
