dailyfeartwdgifs’ 3k followers celebration: special post + psd #1
I can’t believe we’ve just hit over 3k followers! Thank you guys so much for all the support you’ve been giving us since we started this blog a year and a couple of months ago :’))
As a way to celebrate, we’re posting a psd you can use for Fear The Walking Dead gifs. As you can see above, it works pretty much with every scene, as long as you adjust the brightness and main colors. So just some heads up:
don’t repost or claim it as your own;
like or reblog this post if you’re downloading it;
for dark scenes, adjust the brightness and curves;
play around with the selective colors to get a better result;
download it here :)
Thanks again, guys! Let us see your work, we track #ftwdedit and #dailyfeartwdgifs

Out of the Fire..
You can see my other post for the rest of the characters here, but I was asked to separate Alicia from the pack so here we go:
LOL her JFC when Nick comes to the door with news of Troy, perfect.
I said it in the comments of the other post, but while I don’t think Alicia felt deeply for Jake, I think she could have, given time and security. In her first scene, she spoke to him about their future, with the caveat that they may not live long enough, but still talking/hoping about a future without zombies. She’s too smart to dream, but she can hope. She already lost her bf, as well as Travis and possibly her mother relationship (Chris? Did she ever ‘find out’?) and a bunch of other people along the way, and is, unfortunately, learning not to get too attached to anyone new. Just wait until she finds out about Jake. At least she left him on goodish terms.
Nick Nick Nick Nickkkk. That scene on the porch felt forced, it was odd. There is little to no common ground between the two siblings, who at this point. She’s become Nick’s therapist, and essentially leans on Jake for her own mental and emotional comfort since Madison and Nick can’t even hold themselves up right. Nick is on a path of chaos, while Alicia is learning the rough road of being a leader and making decisions while understanding the consequences (she fixed her mistake with the well, although all that for nothing???). I don’t think they can really connect based on Madison before, with Alicia saying she’s broken and admitting/realizing she doesn’t want to be the favorite. (Side Rant: When Alicia said this in whatever episode that was, that hurt to watch, because I took it as her character was vocalizing that she doesn’t really matter to her mom, when compared to her brother. After maybe trying to deny it since the hotel? Or maybe realizing at the hotel, but accepting it in that moment? Idk) Ooooo but I just thought, what if Alicia and Nick are going to become the new Jake and Troy? She won’t kill her bother no matter how far he goes, because siblings until Nick does something she never thought he would…oooo I know it won’t go this way but what if??
LOVE LOVE LOOVE Alicia and Ofelia this episode, LOVE!! Like, can’t even! they worked great off each other. I’m so happy they have come to rebuild whatever relationship they had, and then some. They are leading their separate parts of the group right, sharing information, and listening to each other. SHOCKING! Who runs the world? Mmhmmm. Wokring as a whole, arming everyone (One Word Stopp!), and getting those who could help protect..ugh there’s a moment where Alicia, Crazy Dog, Coop and Ofelia are gauging how far the hoard is, and it highlights how well they all did working together and cooperating. Now, if only this holds on until the end….which it won’t because Madison, Strand, Nick and Daniel will all come back and overshadow everything... Plus spoilerrrrr one of them doesn’t seem to be in the best of positions in the preview for next week…
(I’m reaching the episode as I write this and Nick was like, no nick that’s murder, about 10 minutes before he sentences Jake….WTFFFF)
They come up with their plan, which would have been smart if zombies couldn’t smell them (?). The plan was doomed to fail, bc this is a zombie show, but everyone was in their place, armed, and working together to protect the others, like Crazy Dog said. However, about 2 seconds after that Alicia was like, it’s not worth it and called everyone back.
I do wonder if Alicia keeping the trailer key is going to come back at all though and I still don’t get how a trailer tipped, but okay, made for some great sequences. I like how we didn’t see the rush of zombies too, we just saw her face of like, oh sh*ttt. Then Ofelia is like no get back, but then Alicia comes and saves herr ahhh these two!
In Memorium: Coop (gif brought to you by @dailyfeartwdgifs ). Haunting but great moment. The music/sound design was on point, and her face after was perfect. Then the three of them being the last ones in, they did fantastic. I thought at least one of the three would die too, but thank goodness! Although next weeekkkk…
I like what they are doing with Ofelia and Alicia this season (even though I’m still bitter Ofelia was kind of skipped over..) and I hope they continue the upswing for these two characters.
