x if you read rafe/reader on the archive then you've probably already seen @cherienymphe's works, she writes dark fics but it is some of the best writing on the site... some of my favs are here, here, and here. also this one which unsettled me for days, so good

Okay so Munch must have the weirdest pillow talk on earth - like he's not trying to be enticing or sweet, nu-uh he will be discussing how the government faked the Bermuda triangle or why and how he thinks Frank Sinatra faked his death (c'mon he dies the same day that the last episode of Seinfeld is airing? where no one would pay too much attention to anything else? Yeah right).

So I'm planning out another benrius fic that includes their daughter and I was wondering if you could give some facts about their adorable little girl.

Like her fave color, fave parent, how does she call her parents, does she like dinos, sharks, who does she take after more,fave food, show , animal, etc

She loves both her dads equally! *cough cough* Darius…

I never thought about it till now, Darius could go by daddy D and Ben could go by papa/daddy B or mom for giggles. If there’s no papa or dad with D/B at the end she also calls them by tone of voice.

Dose she like dinosaurs? Surprisingly no, they kinda traumatized her at a young age. Her first interaction with a dinosaur was a compy just like her dad but her experience was much less enjoyable because it bit her. From then on Ben tried to help by slowly introducing her to more dinosaurs but those interactions always went downhill making her fear them more, Yaz stepped in and helped with that fear.

Even though she favorites Darius follows Darius around more she takes after Ben especially his jungle boy side, Darius always jokingly blames him for the crazy things she’s done.

Favorite food, empanadas!!!! And spicy foods, favorite show…Bluey, favorite animal probably bees, she likes bees.

Some other things about her. She’s a late talker, It took her till she was three and a half to start talking and even then it wasn’t much. She has an extremely good pain tolerance, probably being one of the reasons she’s really injury reckless. She doesn’t smile for some reason? Only when she’s around her dad’s

Ofc she was adopted and was abandoned by her mom behind a gas station where Darius and Ben found her while they were driving home from a date night. They took her home, Darius wanted to do the “right thing” and take her to children’s care or something. Ben wanted to keep her saying they could “handle her and that they can take the responsibility” After some guilt tripping Darius gave in and LEGALLY adopted her. Pft and there mom’s reactions were something…

And that’s Dahlia BOWMAN!!!! Her last name being bowman is so precious to me <3

Here's Caddow Jackdaw(he/it), a crow shifter! More under the cut.

Caddow is humanborn, he ran away from home at 12 and was guided by an empathy daemon (Canopus, second formed of empathy, another oc) to an abandoned house in the woods. Said house was then repaired to be liveable. Caddow is currently 15.

The surrounding area has a ward over it, so only those Canopus allows can see it and enter. The house is invisible to everyone else.

Caddow, and 2 other runaway kids, put on performances at the Asteraceae Meadow telling tales of old stories, that of empowered people. Because you can't tell me empowered people weren't absolutely badass before covert was properly put in place.

Caddow is the main singer and song writer, the stories it gets told is by Canopus, which he then writes into songs.

Oh yeah, and the bear it tamed, named Orvyn. Because me and Riot( @riotkitsune )couldn't help but give the kids a giant friend.

all of my s/is, regardless if they’re like me in personality or not, have an aspect of them that connects with me personally. whether it be a stage of my life or a persona i always admired/wanted to be.

for artemis fröhlich, it’s the desire to be a knight in shining armor in a fantasy book reminiscent of those i used to read growing up. they’re the reckless, righteous knight i admired and fawned over as a kid. they’re confident and firm in their ideals, always standing up for what’s right. they have the same short temper i used to have, and my insane stubbornness too.

for dawn, she’s the part of me that’s always been shy. the shyness i’ve always possessed, and the lack of social skills. she’s a writer, like me, and loves researching. she’s the part of me i’ve always been insecure about and a true introvert who opens up only to ppl they’ve grown close with.

cornelia… is everything i’ve hated about myself. the same trauma, same family issues, same disorders, and same mistakes. they’re the ugliest parts of me, the parts i’ve spent years working to fix/heal. she’s childish, irrational, scared, too attached, withdrawn, etc. every mistake i’ve made - every wrong choice, every scar on my body, every self deprecating thought. it’s all them.

artemis dovewing is the confident, extroverted person i always wanted to be, and who i still wish i could be. they’re vibrant, friendly, approachable, creative, charming, etc. they’re the level of androgyny i wish to achieve. they’re the poet i always wished to be. regardless of their outgoing personality, they’re still reserved and secretive. they prefer to be alone, and relish in the beauty of nature. despite how difficult things may be or how ugly the world is, we still find beauty in the smallest of things.

elise is whimsical and outgoing, akin to artemis dovewing, BUT elise was created from my desire to live in the live action film of alice in wonderland. they’re entirely silly and fun and a breath of fresh air. i always wished i could live in that film and be a part of that gorgeous and whimsical world.

dahlia is the woman i always wanted to become - involved in the performing arts. i grew up as a dancer, and for most of my childhood, acting was what i wanted to do in my future. i gave that dream up, but the desire to be on stage and under those stagelights still resides within me. i miss dancing and acting and dressing up and performing for a large crowd. dahlia is a showgirl - like the ones on broadway. she’s flamboyant, confident, adored, sometimes a bit of a diva, but ultimately: she’s the future i always sought for myself before i gave it all up. despite being a showgirl, she also represents the downside of fame and show business - everything i was scared of if i pursued that career path.

Yanno I've got two Inquisitors for whom Vivienne becomes basically an advisor, like they rarely do anything without consulting her, and while they both learned a great deal from her, they learned very different things.

Meraad Adaar, bow rogue and former spymaster of the Valo Kas mercenaries, learns the concept of soft power from her. The idea that fashion, currying favor, and clever wordplay could get you anything had mostly never occurred to her, beyond the basic requirement that she (and her band of mercenaries) have a solid reputation for doing good work with minimal collateral damage. Vivienne is a walking master-class in the use of soft power, and Meraad respects the hell out of that. She learns at Vivienne's elbow for several months before they decide she should venture into society on her own, and, having had the best tutors in Thedas (Josephine also helped), her debut is a triumph. She gains access to a whole world she'd never been able to really even glimpse before because Vivienne was good enough to chaperone her into that new world. They become incredibly good friends.

Dahlia Trevelyan, on the other hand, learns that it's not the cleverest, or the strongest, or the wealthiest, or even the best-connected people who come out on top. It's those willing to do what others will not. Dahlia is a nobody, the mage-blooded daughter of a second son's third son, barely even considered worthy to bear the family name. She makes her way well enough in her home circle, though she and the first enchanter (who practically raised her) have a bit of a falling out after she passes her harrowing amidst suspicions of tampering. Then she gets catapulted into fame and fortune and she likes it. She likes it a lot. She doesn't believe in the Maker, she thinks the circles are stupid, she thinks the Chantry is a scam, but she's willing to lie to people's faces about all that because, as she learns from Vivienne, it doesn't matter what you actually believe. It matters what people think you believe. It matters what people believe you're willing to do.

Meraad takes Vivienne's counsel very seriously, looks up to her, and is incredibly careful to only go against her advice when absolutely necessary.
