For the AU game - Dahlia in Criminal Minds AU. I think this would be interesting.

This would be pretty interesting. I think Dahlia being the daughter of Severus Snape, member of an organized crime organization, and Lily Evans, undercover police officer - could be really fun.

Her mother was killed when she was a baby because they found out she was an undercover police officer but, not before killing the head of the crime family. Severus tried to take her and run but, she was taken and raised by a fellow police officer instead.

Now, Dahlia is the newest member of the BAU and their case is related to the organized crime family/ring. They end up calling on Severus, who has turned witness to help them track down the unsub?

Professor Layton Au - Pandora's Call

((I have made an intro post for this au before but it's been a while and things have changed so here we go))

The Pandora's Call Au follows the idea of pairing the games (+ the movie and crossover) and merging them together, combining the stories and mysteries while changing some other story details to fill the gaps left behind.

The namesake of this Au (and the first combination to be created), Pandora's Call is the combination of Pandora's Box and Spectre's Call.

It follows the Professor and his new assistant Emmy as they investigate the Elysian box. They follow its trail to the ghost town Folsense where they must uncover the secrets behind the spectres — two large and formless entities that fight in the streets — the Spirit — a figure commanding the animals of the town into harassing visitors — and the Golden Kingdom — a castle rumoured to be buried beneath Folsense originating from the Azran.

The Black Ravens are instead the Raven's Guild located in Dropstone and while they do participate in the market, they're more so 'adventurers' that oversee most of the travel to the ghost town.

Arianna isn't sick, Tony doesn't dress up as Seamus and Evan Barde doesn't die, they live in Dropstone together peacefully.

Instead of the manatee like creature she is in canon, Loosha is instead a Quetzalcoatlus that flew out of the Golden Kingdom when she was small enough for Luke to hold.

And Luke Triton is instead Lord Luke Herzen, the grandson of Duke Anton Herzen, raised by his grandfather in Folsense with his only contact with the world outside Folsense being when he uses the animals of Folsense to scare away outsiders.

The other game pairings in this Au are as follows:

Eternal Diva + Curious Village — Eternal Village

St Mystere exists on the island of Ambrosia, the looming tower is mixed with Descole's castle and the Whistler and Reinhold families are combined. Flora and Melina are sisters and Melina's consciousness is put into a robot after she dies.

Miracle Mask + PLvsAA — Mysterious Mask

Labyrinthia is its own world accessible through the Akbadain ruins which is where Randall ended up when he fell, the magic is real (but bound to that one area) and the one behind the Masked Gentleman is the Storyteller (Descole isn't in this one due to Dahlia related injuries).

Lost Future + Azran Legacy — Lost Legacy

Mostly follows the plot of Azran Legacy, but Bill Hawks has disappeared in a time machine related incident and someone claiming to be Luke from the future joins them on their journey. Targent makes it to each location first so they have to use a rudimentary time machine that can only go back a few days to let them collect the eggs first. Also Clive is Luke's half brother, though he has to wear a purple wig to cover his blonde hair.

I do have some extra details for what happens outside the main 'games' as well, though this post is getting long so I'll put them under the cut for anyone who's interested (sorry it's also pretty long):

Clark and Brenda have been dead for around 10 years by the time Pandora's Call starts (though Brenda isn't quite gone), though Clark's death was confirmed while Brenda went missing on her own accord and was presumed dead

Losing Clark and then Brenda in short succession then only a few years later losing Claire left Hershel in a very bad place, he withdrew more so than before and became more reckless in the cases he'd pursue

After being beaten up by the government, Lucille and Roland were worried about him only having them and his mentor Dr Schrader to support him so Lucille called the Ledore household and asked if they would be willing to check in on Hershel, which they agreed and Henry went to go check on him

It was rocky at first, but Henry reaching out really helped Hershel and the two became friends again, Angela joining them too, though with Monte d'Or they couldn't be there all the time

During Hershel's 'reckless era' Henry would often be the one to come over and make sure he's eating enough and looking after his injuries (both from the government incident and injuries he gets while being reckless)

He has two major injuries around this time, one from before the Government beat down and one that ended his 'reckless era' and made him realise he couldn't keep doing this

The first happened the day Claire died. A young boy ran into the burning building next door to the lab to look for his parents and Hershel ran after him, burning his hands in the process of saving the kid

The second was when he was in a particularly bad place mentally, when he decided to look into the case of Claire's death a second time. He got further with his investigation, but then he was jumped and beat up worse than the first time, severely damaging one of his legs in the process and needing it to be amputated from the knee down (When it heals enough he gets a prosthetic, but he also carries a foldable cane and crutches in case he needs them)

On a brighter note, his reckless era did bring about one good change and that was running into his old 'friend' Paul who had also gotten involved in some shady dealings. After escaping the people Hershel was investigating/Paul was getting even with, they ended up reconnecting (things were a bit more complicated than that but this post is already too long-)

This Au's Hershel is a lot tidier than his canon counterpart, he also tends to collect odd souvenirs from his travels (traits he's picked up from Clark and Brenda, *gestures to 'guy who's nothing but the people he's lost' post*)

He's also a bit quicker to go against law enforcement when they're interfering with his investigations (nothing extreme of course, but he's definitely hidden evidence he hasn't had a chance to observe properly before an inspector could take it away)

And that's all I'll share for now. I have a lot planned for this Au and eventually I want to write a few fics for it too (a multichapter fic for each 'game' and a few oneshots too, though it is a very ambitious project) so we'll see what happens.

Okay so I'm still teetering between if I want them to be enemies or not at the beginning of this fic, but basically, Eddie is coming out publically so his team wants him to date someone and Buck is just coming back into his career after taking a hiatus. I just really think Remus Lupin is a ballerina okay AU

Remus Lupin has been doing ballet since he was four. He was exuberant and flashy at first, but after his first teacher, Greyback, molested and abused him, he is quiet and reserved. He prefers to dance by himself and does not speak to anyone inside or outside of the class. He wears pink material and is the best dancer in the school, but everyone is more terrified of him than they are jealous. He has sad eyes and soft hair, but prominent scars (both self-inflicted and from Greyback and accidents) cover his freckled skin. He’s a mystery, but no one wants to solve him.

He lives with his roommate and only friend, Severus Snape, who is a writer. He spins out films and novels and poems by the hundreds, especially inspired by the rain. Remus and Severus will often spend rainy days together in their apartment, with Severus typing furiously and scribbling while Remus dances to Hozier and Lana Del Rey off to the side. Sometimes when Remus will have nightmares, Severus will hold him and sing Russian lullabies until he falls asleep. Severus smokes lazily and wears subdued flower and gothic dresses that show off his jutting hips and collar bones. Having escaped an abusive father and a dead mother, he and Remus bond over their shit parents, with Remus’ father being neglectful and his mother kind but catatonic. Their neighbors think they’re witches, but they’re alright with that.

They both have to work to pay the bills, so while Severus works with preschoolers, Remus works as an assistant for a terrifying professor named Grindelwald at the university. He’s a reformed felon who’s always glowering, and there are rumors he’s Dumbledore’s husband, who is Remus’ mysterious ballet teacher with the twinkling eyes. But no one has the guts to ask him - it’s unknown what he was locked up for, and nobody wants to risk that it was irrational homicide. He mostly ignores Remus though, and doesn’t mind if Remus reads or dances while he works, so Remus doesn’t think he’s too bad.

One day Remus is grading some papers for Grindelwald when Lily Evans walks in, a vision in a white floral lace flowing vest and an across-the-shoulders dark blue dress, a brown belt around her waist and matching ankle boots coming up over creme knee-high knit socks, a black hat on her head. There’s a camera around her neck and her smile is beautiful, surrounded by her freckles, and she and Remus hit it off immediately. She asks if he can spare some time to be her model for the day, and he agrees. They’re hanging out in the park and laughing when Severus walks over, having finished work. The moment he and Lily lay eyes on each other, something happens, something magical, and Remus can see it in both of their smiles as they exchange shy hellos.

Lily starts to hang around them, her and Severus teetering on the edge of something. Remus nudges Severus until he’s brave enough to ask her out, and their first date is in the park where they met, sitting on a bench in the rain and watching the birds. Remus is pretty sure they’re gonna get married one day.

To keep himself busy while his two friends fall in love, Remus escapes to the dance school, dancing alone to Lana Del Rey in an empty room when the door creaks open and he hears, “Wow.” He turns around and smiles, taking in the sight of James Potter, an old school friend who left for Julliard and he hasn’t seen in years. James laughs, pulling him into a hug, and Remus lets him, tangling his hands in James’ curls and grinning when James presses a kiss to the corner of his mouth. James tells him he’s been enjoying a gap year before going to search for a job as a back-up dancer for Taylor Swift, to which Remus giggles and tells him he’ll be great. James beams, and pulls Remus along, saying he has to meet James’ best friend-partner-person. Remus agrees, and changes back into his flowing white dress decorated in bees and black flats, tucking spruce leaves in his hair before taking James’ hand and following him out.

At James’ apartment, he calls out, “Babe! I’m home!” Remus watches as Sirius Black comes skidding down the hall, dazzling in a sparkling black croptop with gold touches and a raggedy sheer maroon skirt that falls just above his spiky combat boots. With white and gold dahlias in his hair, he’s the most beautiful thing Remus has ever seen, and he stares as James pecks Sirius on the mouth, coming away with dark red lipstick stains. When Sirius looks up at Remus, his eyes twinkling, and Remus reaches out a hesitant hand, which Sirius takes. “Hi,” he breathes, and Sirius laughs, loud and bright. He leans in and kisses Remus’ cheek. “Hello, beautiful,” he says sweetly, wrapping an arm around Remus’ waist. “James has told me all about you, love.” Remus blushes, unable to stop smiling even as Sirius pulls away at James’ indignant “Oi!” and doesn’t touch him again. Sirius is the love of his life - he doesn’t know how, but it’s something he just somehow knows, the feeling taking root in his chest and sprouting flowers.

Sirius, as it turns out, is James’ roommate and queerplatonic partner. He ran away from his abusive home and is taking commissions as an artist. Mostly he draws wolves, dogs, rats, deers, doves, snakes, and cats. He affectionately calls Remus Moony, insisting his scars look like something were bit him and his eyes are the fierce amber of a wolf’s. Sirius in turn is called Padfoot, for his doglike energy and loving nature, while James is dubbed Prongs for being a dumbass who continually forgets he’s too big to fit in small spaces and gets lost in the woods almost every weekend. Remus never wants to stop hanging out with them, and learns to spend hours shopping at the vintage shop where Sirius works, the two of them falling for each other fast while James reclaims them as his partners in love as in life. And Remus is so, so happy.

While he’s busy falling in love with Sirius, Lily has moved in with him and Severus. Remus doesn’t mind, and tells Severus he’s thinking of making a home with Sirius and James. Severus hugs him and tells him he’s proud of him, suggesting they hang out that day just the two of them, like old times. Remus agrees, and lets Severus take him to the cafe where Lily works. In the corner of the shop is Regulus Black, a boy drenched in hoodies and coats that Remus and Severus buy free food and drinks for. Regulus thanks them profusely, and they all make small talk until Remus makes a comment that Regulus looks like Remus’ boyfriend Sirius, to which Regulus starts crying, explaining that Sirius is his older brother and he’s been trying to find him for years but gave up looking when their shit parents died and Sirius was nowhere to be found at the funeral. Remus offers to take him home, and Severus kisses Remus on the forehead before heading off to find Lily.

On the way there, they stop at the bakery and accept some free cupcakes from Peter Pettigrew, who owns the bakery with his elusive partner. Regulus, as it turns out, is homeless, and has been trying to make it on his busking money alone. But while he’s fairly lovely at singing, it’s not enough to buy anything concrete. As they eat, Regulus also tells Remus about Amir Levis, a librarian who lets him stay at the library. Remus exclaims that he already knows Amir, who helps Remus remember his pills and doctor’s appointments and always has a spare wheelchair and some tea for him just in case. Regulus admits to having a crush on Amir, but he’s too scared to do anything about it. Remus assures him he and Sirius will help him with it, and just like that they’re on their way.

At home, Remus smiles softly at the sight of Sirius and James entwined on the couch and says, “Look who I found.” At the sight of Regulus, Sirius shoves James to the floor in his haste to stand up, taking Regulus’ face in his hands and searching his eyes for answers. “You got out?” He says, breathless. “Really? You’re alright?” Regulus smiles sheepishly. “Of course I did, Siri,” he whispers. “You think I was gonna let you have all the fun?” Sirius tears up and tugs him close, rocking back and forth as the two of them mumble apologies and love confessions into each other’s necks and shoulders and hair. Remus gravitates towards James, kissing him with a smile before pulling him out of the apartment, saying they should leave the brothers alone.

Remus takes the opportunity to introduce James to Severus and Lily, who are immediately taken with him. They offer to watch him for the afternoon while Remus goes to therapy with Maxwell Needles, a counselor with magenta hair who talks to Remus about life, his accident, his trauma, Greyback, his suicidal tendencies, anxiety, PTSD, and depression. Remus also takes the chance to pick up Sirius and James’ ADHD medication, Peter’s OCD prescription, Lily’s bipolar medication, Severus’ schizophrenia suppressors, and a few books on autism (for Severus), Tourette’s (for Lily), and eating disorders (for James and, Remus suspects somehow, Regulus). Max is delighted to see him with so many friends, and says they’ll bring Peter over sometime for dinner. Though he’s not sure where that would happen since he’s torn between two homes right now, Remus agrees with a smile and bids the skater kid in the checkered jeans goodbye.

Back at school, Remus spends his afternoons in conversation with Mcgonogall, the waltz teacher who takes care of him. She’d adopted him when his parents died and he tries to stick around, asking advice about Sirius and James and whether moving in with them is a good idea. Mcgonogall says she thinks it is, and that she knows Sirius is a kind young man. As it is, he calls her Minnie, and knows her as a friend and a grandmother of sorts, since she helped him when he first ran away to James’ house. Remus is content with continuing the conversation but is interrupted by a phone call telling him Sirius, James, and Regulus have been jailed for a fist fight on the street.

Remus goes to pick them up, where he meets Bellatrix Lestrange, an abusive cousin of Sirius and Regulus who took particular joy out of torturing Sirius, who she almost killed once. She’s also been known to abuse children, especially those of the poor. Also in jail are Lucius and Narcissa Malfoy, a couple married only in spirit who keep having miscarriages and take their abusive anger out on each other and strangers. Their landlord, Voldemort, had demanded unconventional payments and they’d been essentially enslaved to him for years, only escaping his cultist grasp by means of murder, which is why they’re here now.

Remus sees James holding Regulus close and whispering to him as he kisses the cuts and bruises on his face in the corner of the cell, but says nothing about it, kissing Sirius hello. The four of them go home together, and as soon as Regulus is asleep Remus tells James and Sirius that he wants to make a home with them someday, just not right now. They laugh and smile and tell him they’re ready when he is and that they love him, and Remus thinks, Things are good.

In my world, fem Harry is a little bit of an inverse of...uh... Harry!Harry. Her name, in keeping with the Evans flower name thing, is Dahlia. She looks like her mother in every way, only, as everyone says, she has her father’s eyes. Bright and hazel. “Lucky you, though, to not need the same glasses he did!” they like to add jokingly.

My entirely invented Dahlia is less daring than Harry; looking so like her mother, Petunia had a hard time dealing with her. Rather than abuse her outwardly as they did Harry, the Dursleys largely ignore her. Dahlia feels like a ghost in her own house. She turns to books and games of make believe to entertain herself. 

Magically, Dahlia becomes quite skilled at a young age, much like her mother was. The magic she performs is not accidental, but subtle and with purpose. She can make flowers bloom when she sings and butterflies fly into the palm of her hand with a smile. Petunia once caught her at it, watching with a haunted look. Vernon almost beat her for it; it was the last time Dahlia ever ‘played magic girl’ in front of her family again.

When the letter comes for Dahlia, she hides it in her pocket and doesnt open it until she is in her room. She responds on her own. Letter island crisis averted.

Dahlia is considered for every house, but ultimately ends up in Ravenclaw - along with Hermione, who she meets on the train and befriends very quickly (and to the absolute delight of Flitwick, who gloats to Snape and Minerva like its nobody’s business). She, Hermione, and Terry Boot make up the trio in my AU. Dumbledore still likes her but it’s a far warier appreciation - he is much more upfront with Dahlia than he was with Harry in the books. Oh, and Snape is a fucking trainwreck around her, what with her looking like a Lily Evans in miniature. He simply Can Not.

Brian Hugh Warner wurde als Sohn von Barbara (verstorben im Mai 2014[1]) und Hugh Warner in Canton, Ohio, geboren. Er besuchte die Heritage Christian School, eine streng christliche Privatschule, später eine öffentliche Schule. Wie im Buch The Long Hard Road Out of Hell beschrieben wird, war diese Zeit sehr prägend für ihn und beeinflusste seine religiösen und politischen Ansichten beachtlich. Schon in seiner Schulzeit tauchte der Begriff des „Anti-Christen“ häufig auf und ist in seiner späteren Zeit als Musiker besonders oft wieder zu finden. Früh entwickelte Manson eine Vorliebe für Hard-Rock, sammelte Poster, besaß Trinkflaschen und andere Utensilien seiner Lieblingsband KISS. Bilder zeigen den jungen Manson auch geschminkt als Peter Criss.

In der Schule verdiente er sich Geld dazu, indem er unerlaubt mit Musikaufnahmen und Süßigkeiten handelte. Eine Reihe von Ereignissen führte dazu, dass der junge Warner Groll gegen seine streng religiöse Schule entwickelte und am Ende vieles tat, um die Schulleitung zu provozieren und von der Schule suspendiert zu werden. Nach eigenen Angaben fand er schon früh daran Gefallen, aufzufallen und sich in den Köpfen der Menschen einzuprägen.

Nachdem er mit seinen Eltern nach Fort Lauderdale, Florida, umgezogen war, besuchte er das Broward Community College, um dort Journalismus und Theater zu studieren. Bevor er die Band Marilyn Manson gründete, deren ursprünglicher Name Marilyn Manson and the Spooky Kids lautete, schrieb er Gedichte und Kurzgeschichten und war als Musikjournalist beim Magazin 25th Parallel tätig. Als Reporter interviewte er einige Bands, darunter seine Idole von KISS. Er selbst sagte, dass einige dieser Interviews sehr enttäuschend für ihn waren, da ihm klar wurde, wie unecht vieles im Musikgeschäft war.

Während der Aufnahmen zum Album „Mechanical Animals“ (1998) begann Marilyn Manson auch zu malen und seine Bilder in Ausstellungen zu präsentieren.[2] Warner spielte 1999 eine Rolle in Der zuckersüße Tod, 2003 in Party Monster, 2004 in The Heart Is Deceitful Above All Things, 2005 Living in Neon Dreams und 2006 in Rise. Bereits im Jahr 2002 war er darüber hinaus in Michael Moores Dokumentarfilm Bowling for Columbine zu sehen. 2010 stellte Marilyn Manson seine Aquarelle im „project space“ der Kunsthalle Wien aus.[3]2014/2015 folgte im Flatz-Museum in Dornbirn die Ausstellung „Autopsie: Arbeiten auf dünnem Papier“. Eine zentrale Arbeit bildete hier Mansons Porträt der 1947 in Los Angeles grausam ermordeten Elizabeth Short, die als „Black Dahlia“ mehrere Krimi-Autoren und Filmregisseure inspiriert hat.[4]

Marilyn Manson war von 1998 bis 2001 mit Rose McGowan liiert.[5] Am 3. Dezember 2005 heiratete Warner seine langjährige Freundin Dita Von Teese auf dem irischen Anwesen von Gottfried Helnwein, jedoch reichte Von Teese am 29. Dezember 2006 die Scheidung ein.[6]Danach war Warner mit der Schauspielerin Evan Rachel Wood liiert. Das Paar trennte sich zunächst im November 2008[7]und endgültig im August 2010.

Im April 2001 verlor Jennifer Syme, die damalige Freundin von Keanu Reeves, durch einen Autounfall nach einer Party bei Marilyn Manson ihr Leben. Ein Jahr danach erhob ihre Mutter am 2. April 2002 in Los Angeles Klage gegen Marilyn Manson. Der Musiker habe sie mit Drogen versorgt und anschließend Auto fahren lassen, so der Vorwurf. In einem ersten Statement wies Manson die Klage als unbegründet zurück. Seine Anwälte bereiteten eine Widerklage wegen übler Nachrede vor. Über sein Label Posthuman Records Management nahm Manson zu den Vorwürfen Stellung: „Nachdem Jennifer von einem ausgesuchten Fahrer sicher nach Hause gebracht wurde, hat sie sich später aus nur ihr bekannten Gründen hinter das Steuer ihres Wagens gesetzt. Ihr Tod ist traurig und tragisch.“ Er trage dafür jedoch keine Verantwortung. Die Polizei hatte im Wagen der Verstorbenen Drogen und Medikamente gefunden. Im Beipackzettel der Arzneien sei ausdrücklich auf eine mögliche Beeinträchtigung der Fahrtüchtigkeit hingewiesen worden, so die Behörden. In Symes Blut wurde zudem ein hoher Gehalt an Kokain festgestellt. Zusätzlich sei die junge Frau auf der Rückfahrt zu Mansons Party nicht angeschnallt gewesen.

2007 lancierte Warner in Zusammenarbeit mit der Destillerie Matter-Luginbühl AG in der Schweiz einen Absinth, an dessen Entwicklung er maßgeblich teilnahm und dem er den Namen Mansinthe gab. Auf der San Francisco World Spirits Competition, einem weltweiten Wettbewerb für Schnäpse und Liköre, gewann dieser Absinth 2008 eine Goldmedaille.[8]

Ab 2008 plante Warner die Dreharbeiten für den Film Phantasmagoria, bei dem er als Regisseur und Hauptdarsteller agieren sollte. Der Film sollte vom Mathematiker Lewis Carroll handeln, der durch sein Buch Alice im Wunderland bekannt ist.[9] 2015 erklärte Manson auf der Platform reddit.com, dass das unfertige Filmprojekt trotz eines erschienenen Trailers eingestellt wurde. [10]

Manson berichtet immer wieder von Drogenproblemen, Depressionen und Selbstverletzungen, die wichtige Einflüsse für seine Musik darstellen. 1994 wurde er von Anton Szandor LaVey zum Ehrenmitglied der Church of Satan ernannt.[11]

Ende 2014 veröffentlichte Emigrate auf dem Album Silent So Long ein Duett mit Marilyn Manson mit dem Titel Hypothetical.

Der Künstlername Marilyn Manson stellt eine Zusammensetzung aus den Namen der Schauspielerin Marilyn Monroe einerseits und des Kriminellen Charles Manson andererseits dar. Damit soll die untrennbare Zusammengehörigkeit von Gut und Böse verdeutlicht werden. Manson spricht von zwei „magischen Worten“, die die amerikanische Kultur widerspiegelten und als solche bereits für seine Kindheit prägend waren.
