Title: My OC's at #BangusFestival2017
Here's "Festivity" drawing for MuruKir and the Speedster Twins (Spot & Riya). 🙂
I've done this artwork on 1st day of May before we're heading home by riding a bus. And though I was supposed to submit on Monday as my 1st artwork this month, but there's no wifi hotspot at our uncle's house (like I said on my journal).
So anyway, here's my three OC's sitting down while grilling, munching grilled milk fish (Bangus) on a stick & watching concert night at this years #BangusFestival2017 in Dagupan City, Pangasinan. 🥳 🎣🇵🇭 Plus, there's a firework show up ahead while people are really cheering excitement and also there's a inflatable tube man, fish-themed (as I add though).
Spot 🐶🏎️: Hey, we're having fun & calm together at this wonderful festival! 😁
Riya 🐰🏎️: Yeah, let's eat fish together! My parents are preparing! 😁🎣
MuruKir 🔵⭐: *munching on grilled milk fish (Bangus)* Mmmmm... Delicious! 😋🤤
Rita 🐶🚺: I'm glad nagustuhan (they liked), my wonderful anaks (children)! C'mon, have some our delicious homemade grilled Bangus! 🥰
Bonn 🐰🚹: Yeah, I'm using my American-style BBQ Grill for our Bangus! The same BBQ Grill as my late grandpa! 😁🤠🔥🎣
Once again, it's a fun to remember and I hope we'll see this festival, someday! 😊

OBLIGATIONS and CONTRACTS
ARTICLE 1162. Obligations derived from quasi-delicts shall be governed by the provisions of Chapter 2, Title XVII of this Book, and by special laws.
G.R. No. 150157, January 25, 2007
MAURICIO MANLICLIC and PHILIPPINE RABBIT BUS LINES, INC., Petitioners, vs. MODESTO CALAUNAN, Respondent.
CHICO-NAZARIO, J.:
FACTS:
Assailed before us is the decision of the Court of Appeals (CA) in CA-G.R. CV No. 55909 which affirmed in toto the decision2 of the Regional Trial Court (RTC) of Dagupan City, Branch 42, in Civil Case No. D-10086, finding petitioners Mauricio Manliclic and Philippine Rabbit Bus Lines, Inc. (PRBLI) solidary liable to pay damages and attorney’s fees to respondent Modesto Calaunan.
The vehicles involved in this case are: (1) Philippine Rabbit Bus Lines No. 353 with plate number CVD-478, owned by petitioner PRBLI and driven by petitioner Mauricio Manliclic; and (2) owner-type jeep with plate number PER-290, owned by respondent Modesto Calaunan and driven by Marcelo Mendoza.
At around 6:00 to 7:00 o’clock in the morning of 12 July 1988, the two vehicles, both on the way to Manila, collided in NLEX, where the front right side of the bus hit the rear left side of the jeep causing the latter to move to the shoulder and fell on a ditch with water resulting further extensive damage.
Respondent suffered minor injuries while his driver was unhurt. By reason of such collision, respondent filed a criminal case charging petitioner Manliclic with Reckless Imprudence Resulting in Damage to Property with Physical Injury at RTC Malolos Bulacan. Subsequently, a complaint for damages against petitioners Manliclic and Phil Rabbit Bus Lines filed at RTC Dagupan City.
The trial court ruled in favor of respondent Calaunan and found petitioners to be liable. Philippine Rabbit Bus Lines maintained that it observed and exercised the diligence of a good father of a family, being not satisfied to the decision, PRBLI appealed to the Court of Appeals.
The Court of Appeals affirmed the trial court’s decision. Subsequently, petitioners informed that the CA acquitted Manliclic in the criminal case.
ISSUE: Whether or not petitioners Manliclic and PRBLI are liable?
HELD:
Yes, the court found Manliclic can still be held liable because quasi-delict or culpa aquillana is a separate legal institution under the Civil Code with a substantivity all its own, and individuality that is entirely apart and independent from a delict or crime. The civil liability arising from quasi-delict will not be extinguished by an acquittal, whether it be on ground of reasonable doubt or that accused was not the author of the act or omission complained of.
In Article 2180 of the NCC, provides that when an injury is caused by the negligence of the employee, there instantly arises from the presumption of law that there was negligence on the part of the employer either in the selection of employee or in supervision over him.
In this case, the trial court found that petitioner PRBLI exercised the diligence of a good father of a family in the selection but not in the supervision of its employees. The court found that PRBLI has a very good procedure of recruiting its driver as well as the maintenance of its vehicles. As to supervision there has been no iota of evidence introduced by it that there are rules promulgated by the bus company regarding the safe operation and the way the driver should manage and operate the vehicles assigned to them. There is only one set of manual containing the rules and regulations for all the drivers of PRBLI.
Therefore, PRBLI is held solidary responsible for the damages caused by petitioner Manliclic’s negligence. The instant petition for review is DENIED. The decision of the Court of Appeals in CA-G.R. CV No. 55909 is AFFIRMED with the MODIFICATION that (1) the award of moral damages shall be reduced to P50,000.00; and (2) the award of exemplary damages shall be lowered to P50,000.00. Costs against petitioners.

My soul left me after the Patar Beach
A "Paradise" is a fantastical location. Usually, it's an optimistic and entertaining environment. You may, therefore, describe a beach as a paradise to draw attention to the notion that the beach is your personal interpretation of a fantastical setting where you can enjoy yourself and feel delighted. Beach. It consists of five letters and can elicit a variety of feelings and provide therapeutic warmth when you are in the presence of the shore's wind and sand. When it comes to a person's vivid and effortless view of the beach, beaches are really simple, nonetheless, if someone is looking at them with complete appreciation and understanding, they may develop an in-depth meaning and view of the beach. Whether we like to acknowledge it or not, we are always able to determine when we are near the beach, or we are already at the beach when we smell the salty sea air, hear the sound of the waves crashing onto the sand, and rocks, and the sensation of the combination of heat and cold air.
The Patar beach at Bolinao, Pangasinan, is a personal representation of my paradise. This beach is among the most exquisite in the Philippines and is well-known for its abundance of immaculate beaches. It features this gorgeous beach with pristine white sand, crystal-clear waves, and mind-blowing views that will leave any visitor astonished. Since it is a public beach, it receives very little maintenance; yet, it is our duty as visitors to contribute to the beach's sustainability. Further, south down the coast are numerous more sections of white sand beach with little bays and formations of coral rock. Many of the lovely white-sand beaches on Pangasinan's western coast are just waiting to be discovered and may be easily viewed from online satellite maps. This coastline includes lengths of lovely beaches in the towns of Agno, Bani, Burgos, and Dasol.
While Patar Beach is a great place to swim, snorkeling only reveals a little in the way of underwater life. This is apparently due to the lack of coral in the area, though snorkeling may get better the further south you travel. In Bolinao, there are numerous attractions to see. On our second visit, as we drove along Patar Road on our approach to the beach, we saw signage pointing to three caves—Wonderful Cave, Cindy's Cave, and Enchanted Cave—which are actually underground pools. There are also several places where you can stay like G beach resort Bolina. Naturally, as soon as we were fully aware of the Patar beach, we had to begin discovering the best routes there. The Manila to Bolinao route is served by a number of buses, including the Philippine Rabbit, Dagupan Bus, City Trans, Five Star, and Victory Liner. It takes about five to six hours to get there, allowing you to pass the time by doing anything you like. Just rent a bike in Bolinao town center to go to Patar Beach. Another option is if you choose to travel by car, as we did, head towards Tarlac City via the North Luzon Expressway (NLEX) and the Subic-Clark-Tarlac Expressway (SCTEX). Take the Camiling road at Tarlac City and continue driving all the way to Alaminos, Pangasinan, and then to Bolinao. Before you enter the town proper, take the road on the left that is across from the Bolinao Central School if you want to go directly to Patar Beach (this road is named Saturnino Camangian on Google Maps).
As someone who loves the smells and feel of the oceans along the sands, I consider beaches as my home. You could consider the beach to be your home if that's where you feel the happiest and most at ease. Although it's not really a house, it feels like home, like the place where you belong. While Patar Beach may resemble other beaches, I believe they are all unique. The reason for this is that they have a variety of incredible recollections of the people who have visited them. My recollections are stored in the ocean's depths at Patar Beach.
Like our lives, the waves at the beaches are wildly unpredictable. It is extremely unpredictable, with the potential to be both peaceful and helpful to us, as well as destructive.

Limited budget, but unlimited memories!
"Tired feet, happy heart!"
"When in doubt, just travel and enjoy!"
"Life is not meant to be in one place!"

"I read, I travel, I become"
Wright Park
Location: Gibraltar Road, Baguio City
Burnham Park
Location: Jose Abad Santos Drive, Baguio City
Botanical Garden
Location: 37 Leonard Wood Road, Baguio City
Operating Hours: 6:00 AM-6:00 PM, daily
Mines View Park
Location: Mines View, Baguio City
Operating Hours: 5:00 AM-8:00 PM, daily

"Bus thoughts"
I told myself I must be happy today. The bus from Dagupan to Alaminos was air-conditioned.
I was listening to Lorde, and her music's totally fine, kind of holding every broken piece of me into one whole thing that made me.
I scrolled on Facebook for my hands to get occupied while I'm waiting for the bus to go.
"My Mind and Me" by Selena was played in one of the videos I'm watching at the moment.
I downloaded it, and now I'm listening to it for the fourth time in a row.
Then all those pieces of Lorde's music that keep me whole are just scattered, as this Selena song is heavy enough to crash my system.

HOW TO GET TO BAGUIO FROM MANILA
Several bus companies ply the Manila-Baguio route. You can catch a bus at the following terminals:
Genesis Transport: Cubao
Dagupan Bus Lines: Cubao
PARTAS: Cubao and Pasay
Joy Bus (Genesis): Pasay and Avenida
Victory Liner: Cubao and Pasay
Baguio is only 4-6 hours away from Manila, depending on which part of Manila you’re coming from, which route the bus takes, and whether or not it makes a stop along the way. Regular buses usually take Dau Exit (NLEX) or Concepcion Exit (SCTEX) and make at least one stop.
But higher end buses like Joy Bus and Victory Liner’s first-class service use NLEX, SCTEX, and TPLEX non-stop, cutting down the travel time to 4-5 hours. First class buses also have wider legrooms and free snacks.
When I go to Baguio, I usually book with Victory Liner. No particular reason, really. It’s just out of habit. Haha. So I’m most familiar with their fares.
CUBAO TO BAGUIO – VICTORY LINER Regular aircon: P485 First class: P800
CUBAO TO BAGUIO – JOYBUS Deluxe: P720 Premier: P740
PASAY TO BAGUIO – JOYBUS Deluxe: P730 Premier: P760
PASAY TO BAGUIO – VICTORY LINER Regular aircon: P496 First class: P800
For the schedule, check this website: VICTORY LINER & JOY BUS SCHEDULE.
From the new Victory Liner terminal, you can take a cab to your hotel. If your hotel is near Burnham Park, the fare should be around P70.

Damhin ang Lamig sa Summer Capital of the Philippines!
4. VEGETABLES AND PASALUBONG STALLS
