I don't really have one, but I do cycle through three comfort podcasts:

- folxlore is high up on my comfort list bc it's so lovely to be sad and have someone like,,, validate that? Or be going through it themself??

- love and luck is also something I go back to when I'm feeling down, there's just something so beautiful about these two queer people creating a safe space for everyone else in their community idk it gives me hope

- last but not least, me and au is a frikking cute one shot podcast when you're feeling down istg the number of times I've binge relistened to it and just felt my burdens lift, it's amazing

I was dragged into TF in December and I am constantly cursing the friend that did this to me. I went into TF with the intention of shipping MegOP and now I'm stuck in SoundStar rarepair hell. ಠ⁠ ⁠೧⁠ ⁠ಠ

I've been here for a while now, but I went into stasis lock for a few years because I felt sad about TFP ending, was too attached to move on, and was too isolated in my enthusiasm to maintain interest. And then around the beginning of this year, I finally had enough emotional distance to watch Cyberverse, and my friends asked me to show them TFP because they thought Starscream was hot, aaaand it was all over. All of the robots are gnawing at my brainstem now. I will also join you in rotating SoundStar in my head. Primus have mercy on our sparks.

Useless Headcanon 1: Trent will only sleep on the right side of the bed. (This is non-negotiable; he literally can't sleep when he's on the left side.)

Useless Headcanon 2: Isaac needs pink noise to fall asleep. (Although Colin once went "SHHHHHHHHHH" real loud in his ear for about ten minutes and that worked.)

What are three shows in your watchlist that you’ve been meaning to get to?

I'll probably watch The Last of Us once all the episodes are out, and I'm excited for the new season of Succession. Beyond that, I don't know!

3. Do you like smoothies?

I love a smoothie! During the summer I eat them for lunch when I have access to a blender.

6. What do you use to keep your place when you’re reading a book?

Random scraps of paper I have lying around whenever I start reading a book. Sometimes I'll just leave it open on a desk or a my bed if I don't have anything lying around.

9. What sounds or scents calm you down?

I loooove the sound of rain. If I could live somewhere it was always raining, I'd be happy.

13. Do you prefer to write in pen or pencil?

Pen! But they've got to be felt tip or really dry ink because otherwise I'll smear it all across the page.

1. Do you prefer writing one-shots or multi-chaptered fics?

Based on my current roster, I would say multi-chaptered fics. Not that I have a problem with one-shots. Sometimes those scratch a particular itch I'm feeling. I love them both, and have plans for both in the future, but multi-chaptered reigns supreme in the razzle world.

3. Describe the creative process of writing a chapter/fic

I have to be in the proper mindset for x fic. Whether I get myself there by rereading previous chapters (or if it's a new one, absorbing similar media), and then I can begin the process. For me, it all starts with the outline. When I outline fics, I outline the chapters as I go, and while some details may change, it gives me an idea of how many chapters there will be, and the structure/flow of each chapter. From there, I fill in the gaps as I write. Get in the mindset > Brainstorm/Outline > Write fic/chapter > Revise > Post

6. Do you have your work beta'd? How important is this to your process?

I do not. I've had a few pieces looked over, and sometimes I'll talk with a few people on how a chunk from a fic flows, but I am working hard on doing things more on my own lately. I appreciate every single person I've ever reached out to for assistance, though!! Anxiety gets me either way - what if the beta thinks it's dumb?? What if I missed something that a beta could have informed me of? It's six one way, half a dozen another. I'm trying to learn to trust myself more these days.

9. Do you comment on stories you read?

Yes!! I am a very slow reader, but I try my best to comment on every fic I read! (Though I'm sure I've missed some here and there, but...we all make mistakes so hey.)

13. what’s a common writing tip that you almost always follow?

Don't force it. If you're not feeling it, work on something else or take a step back. Breaks are good. The more you hound yourself to write, the more it feels like a chore and is far less enjoyable than it should be.
