Do you think when aphmau saw grown Levin for the first time all she could see was the man she had just lost?

It wasn’t even thirty minutes ago she saw the same blonde curls and blue eyes in the light underneath the tree canopy. Only then was Aphmau able to understand what Garroth had given up for her and Laurance. Only then did Aphmau understand what had been stolen from Garroth. The resemblance had always been there but she hadn’t known what Garroth looked like when he was a child. She wondered if in a few years would Levin’s brow crease in the same place as Garroth when he was stressed. Would Levin catch Garroth in age by the time they saw each other again? Or, would Aphmau be left with a constant reminder of what she could never have? Aphmau only then understood how young she is as she looked at her son take on the same pressure she nearly crumbled under.

Hey so y'all know how Garroth asks Aph if she's sure about taking in Levin? Because her duties as a lord might get in the way? Do you ever think about how he was raised? And how maybe he's looking at Levin and seeing another kid who might suffer bc his parent is too busy being important to love him, and he's afraid? Because he knows (or at least REALLY wants to believe) Aphmau wouldn't do it on purpose, but then again, part of him still wants to believe his father didn't either? And the way he IMMEDIATELY volunteers to be in Levin's life, IMMEDIATELY steps up at every occasion, gets Zoey involved, ACTIVELY SAYS THAT HE KNOWS LEVIN WILL BE SOMETHING GREAT SOMEDAY TO OTHER PEOPLE?? He's making DAMN sure that kid has people in his life, and that the kid has somebody who unapologetically is proud and enthusiastic about him. I think he's making sure no kid ever has to grow up anything like he did.

OK SO

Aphmau was brought along earlier than canon. This had effects such as her being a literal child(like she’s a infant at beginning of au) and Shad is the one to find her.

Shad goes “This is a baby. My baby. I need to protect my baby” and adopts her on the spot(she is infact Irene’s daughter in a sense and somehow has his genetics making him her bio dad-)

Reason she’s found? A shadow knight named Terrie. o7 Terrie you would of loved Deadpool and Wolverine.

Anyways Terrie is Aphmaus middle name in the au.

Shad spends years traveling and this results in Aph growing up knowing many of the characters as children. The Romeave brothers fate is much different due to growing up as close friends with Aphmau and Shad being close friends eventually with their parents. Garroth treats Aph as his little sister. Zane and Aph drag Vylad to tea parties. Aph also knows Laurence as a kid, both drag Candenza to cause chaos.

The result of Aph growing up traveling for first few years of her life is a knowledge of the different languages in that world. She eventually is raised in phoenix drop and Shad become lord of Phoenix Drop, the travels eventually become more diplomatic and she only joins when its travels to Okasis or Meteli.

She’s the reason Garroth and Laurence meet. THEY ARE GAY YOUR HONOR—

Aaron and Aph had a small fling and ultimately decided to be friends as they love each other but now know it’s more like siblings friends or cousins. Aph is Aaron’s sons god mother.

ANYWAYS ONTO SHAD AND HIS SHIT

Morherfucker is a girl dad. He will do anything and I mean ANYTHING for his daughter

Aphmau asks to do his nails? He sits still and lets her do them and also provides a shit ton of nail polishes and nail stuff

Boy troubles? Movies and ice cream(and shad sending shadow knights to beat the guys ass)

He has no overworld home and refuses to bring his new daughter to the nether(the shadow knights adore her and see her as a niece) due to the heat along with lava and fire. They eventually settle in Phoenix Drop and Shad becomes the lord instead of aph

Shads a good guy here. Irene’s a villain. But still follow their roles we just see a different perspective.

I will always be mad that Leona ended up as a glorified babysitter, she deserved better solely because of her kinda fucked up origin

Some notes below

Regardless of who her father is I imagine that she is TALL, like mid 7 foot range which is a little funny when she stands next to her mother because I headcanon Kiki to be like 5 foot 6 max

Because Kiki and Brendan have no given last name I'm giving Leona the last name Dubois, which I know is french (the horror) but I think the meaning would make sense for her family

She is very well mannered which is funny since I think she was literally raised in a barn and that includes taking care of her hair and her fur, she had to find a lot of old books on Werewolf physiology to help her though plus whatever Kiki could tell her because of where Kiki was raised.

I imagine Leona has a massive sweet tooth and the fact that she can't have chocolate like EVER makes her so sad

Also Garroth told me and I had to give him a reality check.

Listening to Donna go off about how weird the silver haired girl is, how she doesn’t trust her, she’s lying about something, her name probably isn’t even Sasha, etc and im wondering if I should tell her that the name everyone calls me isn’t anywhere close to my actual name and my first day in the village a very drunk second in command called me ‘Daisy Girl’ because I was picking daisies and I guess the head guard heard and thought that was my actual name so he called me ‘Miss Daisy’ and when I met Donna she called me that and I only talk to and know other people because she’s forced me to and she would always introduce me as Daisy so that’s just my fucking name now I guess.

So aside from thinking about the most heart wrenching angst of all time I also like to imagine garroth would be the most dad ever and would be so bad at taking care of the girls but so loving all the while.

Before I’d say he took care of them out of guilt but quickly grew to love the girls and spend time with them whenever he could (btw aphmau would so not like that they call him dad but we’ll get into that another time🤭🤭)

i saw a post that mentioned how post-MCD-season 3 with aaron and aphmau gone aleena probably would’ve been primarily raised by garroth (with help from zoey ofc) and it’s stuck with me ever since. like aleena would only have a few memories of her mother and have a vague connection whilst she’d probably consider garroth her actual parent/father. i wonder how he would feel about that,, especially considering his complicated relationship to aaron. would he accept his parental role in her eyes,, understanding that he is all she knows and that sometimes family isn’t always blood?or would he be hesitant to accept that title and instead try to remind aleena of her ‘true’ parents?
