"The Night Is Darkest Before The Dawn" is a current fave. I love the Dark Knight, and I love Star Wars. So it was inevitable that I went "hmmm how can we turn this into Kanera?" and then didn't wait for an answer, ya know? Also I get to play with some fun characters!

"Look, Sometimes A Woman Just Wants Some Kanan And Ezra Feels, Okay?", aka the sequel to my Kanan adopting Ezra in the Steve Miller Au fic. I love all my Steve Miller stuff, but this is one that I'm particularly fond of!!

"A Moment Together", my singular AOS fic. Writing it made me realize "oh hey, Mackelena is my OTP" and also made me ponder the concept of soulmates a lot!

If I ever don't put "This Is The Story Of How I Died" on my list, there's something wrong with me. It's not perfect, but consider-- Kanan as Flynn Rider. I rest my case

Much though I love to promote my SOC fan fic (that I really need to start writing again) I'm gonna mention a different fic this time, one that I don't talk about as much. So I kinda wrote a three chapter story about Talon Karrde and Shada D'ukal, which I don't think of as a ship most people are into these days, but it's called "Queen Takes King" and I'm very proud of the romantic chemistry. So!

I'm posting a three part fic about one of my favorite low key ships in Star Wars Legends. And BOY, is it low key. Blink and you miss it low key. Some people aren't shippers, but I think they're a pretty good couple.

I've read the canon and the Legends Thrawn trilogies, a couple other Legends books, A New Dawn, The High Republic books, Dark Disciple (which I am literally always happy to talk about. Always. Same with A New Dawn), I used to really love the Last of the Jedi series, the Alphabet Squadron books-- the list goes on. (probably)

Alderaan, Kashyyk, and Naboo?

Alderaan: Favorite original character(s) from a canon book/series? Oooooooh, that's hard! Let's go with.... LEOX!!!! Leox Gyasi. My love. He's been described as "if Master Yoda was high as all get out", he's this character's sketchy uncle figure, and he and Hondo Ohnaka would vibe. Hard.

That said, I also love Loden Greatstorm, Bell Zettifar, and the myth, the legend, GEODE. He's amazing.

Favorite original character(s) from a legends book/series? Well, I mean, Thrawn, obviously. BUT ALSO NOT. Talon Karrde and Mara Jade are my faves. I just... I really like Karrde's sophisticated smuggler vibes, and also the fact that he's basically Mara and a bunch of other smuggler's dad, and how he cons the New Republic out of money because he values his people so much. also D'ukarrde Dang, I miss that guy

Naboo: If you could write a Star Wars book or book series, what would it be? I would say Hera Syndulla, but I want her to have her own tv show. So I'd probably write a book series about where Talon Karrde and his group were in canon. Because I'm obsessed with him
