Misfits & Monsters UK Punk D&D 5e Test Episode 18

Wherein: The Misfits are reunited with an old frenemy, gain a new fr-ally(?) & are once again stumped by an obstinate & uncooperative portal!

After slaughtering a bunch of strange ooze-people attacking a group of humans hiding behind a ramshackle barricade, the gang are allowed inside their refuge and are shocked to find an old rival leading the group. Amidst their strained insult-riddled negotiations, a mysterious new ally befriends them. They agree to aid the refugees in solving a frustrating puzzle that blocks them from progressing further inside the transdimensionally contrary living colossus and continue their pursuit of Ela, the Dark lady and Herald of Juiblex, who has stolen the Omniark.

Misfits & Monsters UK Punk D.I.Y D&D 5e Test Episode 17

Wherein: The Misfits get the boot from a Colossus & (yet again) express their preference for aggressive negotiation over conversation.

After jumping onto the massive foot of the striding colossus (transformed from the ruins of the towering citadel), the Misfits blast their way inside the gargantuan to find it dimensionally contrary to its exterior, the awkward bastard. Within, they are confronted by yet another obstacle, a terrifying example of their most hated nemesis, a locked door! How will their pass this inscrutable barrier? Will they figure it out within the two hours of gameplay they have to operate in? Will this be yet another episode of tedious combat rounds and no romance roleplay between wildly incompatible races? You'll just have to watch it to find out!

Misfits & Monsters UK Punk D.I.Y D&D 5e CURSED Test Episode 16 (16-16-16!)

Wherein: The Misfits must survive the curse of 16 (16-16-16)! Could this be where it ends for these miscreants?

*deep breath* After mithering about giving the 'Omniark' over to the Hags, Nev' (the half-elf prisoner they released) grew impatient, snatched the artefact from them and attempted to escape with it through one of the many window-like portals lining the walls of their lair. A struggle ensues where Ela (Kaeyla's former rival and the Faceless Lord's Herald) gains the Omniark, flies through one of the window-portals and attempts to deliver it to her master (Juiblex). The Misfits escape the hags & pursue her back to Faerun, finding themselves emerging onto a blasted landscape that lies beyond the mountains bordering the High Forest. An ominous towering citadel stands in its centre, wreathed in roiling green-hued clouds, its spires disappearing into an equally tumultuous sky-storm above. They fight with Ela over possession of the Omniark, as the looming monument begins to transform into a gargantuan humanoid colossus that strides towards them. *phew!*

After scaring off an aggrieved purple worm and avoiding the clutches of a field of grabby hands, the Misfits then have to outrun some maddened elementals made from the earth and corpses of a mass grave, escape the caves and return to the hag’s demi-plane to deliver the Omniark to them.
