hi i just wanted to give you tips when  you’re in an argument

Ahem, First of all, I fucking hate people who talks like a triggered 7 yo in internet arguments, i mean, i do sound like one right now but i just really wanted to point it out today.

Tip 1: Don’t use caps

mhm, thats right. Don’t use caps bruh. Again, you’ll look like a triggered 7 yo when you do that and if your enemy knows that you’re triggered, then theres prolly a good amount of possibility that they can win too. If you think sounding angry will scare them away, honestly, they dont.

Tip 2: Write things properly

yes, write things properly. Use capital letters only at the beginning of the sentence, don’t use shortcut words, put periods and commas, and if possible put ‘ too (i forgot whats it called lol). Why? Well, in my opinion being as calm as fuck makes you look like a powerful mothafucker. You, being calm and stuff while your enemy is just so damn pissed and having trouble finding correct letters and stuff. its funny when its like that. also theres prolly a lot of possibility too that you will win and more superior people may actually want to be in your side.

Tip 3: Double check stuff

For being calm, of course you have to double check stuff. If they reply fast with something like “ooh whats the matter i bet ur having trouble rechecking ur spellings and stuff over and over again cuz u a dumbass fuc” just reply something thats like “well, at least im still calm that i can double-check my responses and that i dont sound like a triggered 7 year old like you” yes, something like that. Once I was in an arguement and my enemy responded with something like that i felt like i was so dumb. so yeah, prolly do that.

Tip 4: If possible, use complicated words

Who cares if you still had to go grab a dictionary? its not like they can see you cuz ur on the other side of the screen bruh. if they tell you that you’re a wimp or something for probably getting a dictionary, just lie and tell them that you already knew those words. were all going to hell anyway so why not lol. but dont make every single word complicated tho, maybe just 1-4 words.. yeah. cuz if you do they’l prolly have a very good comeback to use to you.

Tip 5: If theyr right, then let them win

If they are actually right then its best to just back away and admit your defeat. Not all things can go your way. If you do think theyr still wrong tho and you just dont know what to tell them anymore, heck tell it to other peeps who didn’t know. tell it to superiors and stuff.

Becoming Poly- Chapter 14: My Turn

Sorry I didn’t blog last week. Do you know how hard it is to write about polyamory under the same roof as your parents? I was scared one of them was going to pop in and ask,

So, ya, I’m sure hundreds of self help books would call that an “excuse” for not writing, but trust me: it felt TOO CREEPY. You try to write about sex while your parents are in the next room watching My Three Sons. It’s good to know I’ve found my audience. Though I do wish you guys would put some capital letters in your names. You’re better than that.

I’ve calmed down from my boyfriend’s first “other sex” in our relationship. I’m pretty lucky that I have so many people reaching out to me, who are better versed in open relationships than I am. A particular comic friend in Florida always sums it up so well:

“Your primary is your home. These other people are the Disneylands and carnivals of the world. Fun day excursions, but you don’t want it every day.”

I think that’s my problem: Part of me would prefer to be the Disneyland. And good news for you, I’m way cheaper.

I still have a crush on the one guy I texted at O’Brien’s the day of my breakdown. I know he’s wary of the poly thing, and knowing my boyfriend, but I can’t help it. I’ve known him for years. I’ve had a crush on him for a year. I can’t help it if I’m a coward, and don’t know how to approach him. (Especially considering the circumstances.) Me sending him Snapchats that he’ll never open is enough of a rush for me.

It’s Friday night. I’m sitting at Ollo, as I often do during happy hour, wondering what I’m going to do when all the regulars go home at 8pm. It’s not a party city. We could use a Malibu’s Most Wanted reboot out here. But with the tiny bit of confidence I get from deep fried zucchini sticks and house wine, I decide to text my crush:

“Do you ever open Snapchat anymore, or am I sending things to an archive…?”

(With a smirky face emoji, obvi.)

He writes back minutes later.

“Hahahaha! I just watched the snaps! They made me laugh!”

It was at least a month’s worth of events, even capturing his own roommates. It must have been quite the montage.

“Thanks for sending them! I’m sorry I’m the worst. They were really funny. How long have you been sending them?”

Oh months. They’re my favorite seed I’ve ever planted.

“You might have just gotten something from me.”

I open Snapchat and see his name light up in full arrowed purple. I’m ridiculously excited for a girl my age. I’m starting to tune out the old man beside me bragging about how he gave Rosie O’Donnell her big break. That’s how you can tell I keep it real in this town- I’d much rather chase romance than my own career. (GOOD MOVE, EH?)

He writes again:

“I just finished a show in Hermosa Beach and I got to watch a lady heckle another comedian by saying, “we’re never going to be friends.”

Wow. The edginess of Hermosa Beach hecklers. What’s next? No tip? Shocking. I’m walking home, past people sleeping in their cars. At least my career is going better than theirs. But it’s a good reminder there’s no parking restrictions on PCH. Man, if any road needs some street cleaning…

It takes us another 18 texts to finally figure out we should meet up, but when he writes,

“I’d be down to meet up somewhere!”

I’m immediately wet. (It happens fast at my age.) He suggests the exact two bars in Santa Monica I was going to suggest. Power of the Leo and Sagittarius. (I probs just lost nine readers by referencing astrology.)

I get to Rick’s on Main Street slightly before him. I don’t have my real glasses on me, cuz I’ve been wearing my prescription sunglasses all day. Didn’t expect to be out past sunset, cuz that’s Malibu “night life.” So I’m going to be mildly blind all night. People always tell me,

“You should get laser eye surgery.”

Why the fuck would I do that? My glasses cover at least a dozen lines on my face. I’m thinking about getting a new pair, with thicker rims. I’m growing out bangs next. The date will be fine as long as I don’t send him into the kitchen when he asks where the bathroom is.

Now here’s the grey area…

Do I tell my bf right now that I’m going to meet this crush? I don’t know anything is going to happen. There’s a good chance we will just be two (ASTROLOGICAL PERFECT MATCHES) drinking buddies in a bar. Two comics, talking shop. Do we really need to set off the alarm before there’s a fire? As per my communication skills, I think def not. Like this blog, I will leave it till the last minute. (Typed at 3:13am, 4:45am after proofreading.)

I’m pretty sure I look like shit, but the good thing about somebody knowing me through comedy, is they always see me looking like shit. I’ve never been super comfortable looking “good” on stage. Maybe this comes from starting stand up 19 years ago, and always fearing women wouldn’t like me if I looked pretty. Most of the women in a comedy club are on dates, and I would literally get glares as they gripped their men. So early in my career, I started to wear hoodies on stage, and cover as much skin as possible. It was my passive aggressive way of saying,

“Don’t look at me. Listen to me.”

(Also, “I’m not here to steal your boyfriend. I’m here to make forty bucks.”)

This is another reason I love the rise of feminism: I pray it means the death of catty-ism. (An energy I sadly grew up with.)

So ya, back to the poly stuff: I’m on an impromptu date with my crush, my bf doesn’t really know, I look like shit, but can’t see that cuz I left my glasses at home. He walks in the bar and I’m almost in shock that we’re together. I think it’s been months since we’ve been in the same room together. And since when did I start going after things I want…?

I’m shockingly comfortable around him. That’s a plus about bonding with someone while you’re in a relationship. You don’t try as hard to sell yourself as when you’re single. You’re just you, and if they don’t like it, who cares? (I admire people who are like this all the time.)

He suggests we go to Chez Jay next. Ooooooooh, I love a new bar. Never been. So excited. Even more excited that he’s ditched his car, and will get it in the morning. I love a man who drinks responsibly. (Is this how I book a MADD commercial, or do I still need to have babies?)

Chez Jay is great. I like having bars like this on my radar. The conversation is going steady, tho I’m praying my primary and polyamory doesn’t come up. I just want to enjoy this night, as it is. The same way I did as a single person. I really don’t want to dive into the politics of it all. I think I’m more terrified that talking about it will scare him away…

When Chez Jay closes, he asks me if I wanna come over for some porch beers.

Yup. You know I do.

Again… is this the moment I text my bf and let him know I’m going over to a guy’s house? I mean technically, there’s a good chance nothing will happen. Seems too soon to ring the alarm. And if there’s one expression comedians know, it’s “too soon.”

He gets us an Uber/Lyft, whichever- most cars in town have both stickers. When we get to his house, I hit the bathroom. Every girl’s most investigative move in a dude’s house. Is his hand towel also his bath towel? Is this a one towel wonder situation? Does he own toilet paper? I don’t make it that far, because I’ve sprayed surprise period all over my undies. (If those Tumblr names didn’t scare you away, this surely will, eh?)

I search the cupboards for anything remotely handy in this moment. There’s nothing. Maybe I should hit the kitchen, and look for coffee filters. Those should work, right?

Nah, I’ll just do the ol’ “tie toilet paper around my underwear” move. It’s the move you do when you first get your period, in case you don’t know. (I FEEL SO YOUNG AGAIN! MAYBE I DON’T NEED BANGS!)

Porch beers are the best. I’m a fan of his roommates. We’re all having a great time, but then… 

Something more unexpected than my bloody kitty happens. This beautiful, young blonde chick walks up to the porch.

“Hey, I live across the street. All my friends went to sleep, so I thought I’d come introduce myself.”

Holy. Mother. Trucker. It’s 3:00am. This isn’t the moment I was expecting competition…

But here we are.

The guys grab her a beer. Now again, I am not into “catty-ism.” BUT- I am a share holder of “insecurity-ism.” And if I were any one of these guys on this porch, I would def hit on this chick instead of me. She’s legit extremely cool. There’s a part of me that wonders if this is fate’s little way of saying,

You’re not ready to pop your poly cherry yet.

I never rang the alarm. I can still get out of this… innocently?

Either way, I think she might be might be my personal savior (another word I spell wrong cuz I’m Canadian and think there’s a “u” in it.)

She takes me over to her apartment, and literally gives me all her pads cuz she doesn’t use them. Bonus. My favourite sleep aid. I fucking love this girl.

We head back over to the boys, and I know I’m drunk, bleeding and tired. I ask my crush if there’s a place I can crash. He escorts me to his roommate’s room, and tucks me in. (Don’t worry- the roommate wasn’t there. That would have been the real poly, eh?)

As I fall asleep, like a loser at a slumber party who goes to bed first, I can’t help but think,

“He’s a great guy. She’s a great girl. If they hook up, I’m fine with it.”

PRACTICE COMPERSION! Why is compersion so much easier when you’re not dating someone? I fall asleep/pass out- which ever you like to believe at this hour. HOW TO CREATE AN AMAZON FBA LISTING WITH FULLY OPTIMIZED TITLE, BULLET POINTS AND BACKEND KEYWORDS!

Once you have all of these keywords set right, go ahead and click save, and so you know just in that short amount of time right we got our keywords done we got our our bullets, done right so let’s take a look at our title, cuz it was just kind of a, a temporary title, do you want to manipulate the canonical URL and how you do that is through the hyphenation, of your title, right so again there’s no reason to, reinvent the wheel here, let’s see what people are doing, right so, cheese board set, wu-Tang, stainless steel, cutlery, so you can do that right cuz they’re probably the most important words their what you want the Amazon URL to reflect and he, As far as Google and other search engines, france cell, is for stainless steel, is soapstone chalk, and then we want to look and see kind of what the highest volume keywords are right from our master, include this, so you only have to clean to the mall so we have cheese board here, we have slate cheese she’s working cheese platter, right, perfect cheese, flattered, right I mean she’s bored here swiss cheese board, why are cheese boards like that, if we want to include, 3, wine and cheese board, wisconsin, and see you get 200 characters for your title, so I like to use leather couches the easiest way to do it, 1284 rights we have a few more characters here, serving right, wyatt shears, serving board, so 8 more characters, anchor that she’s all the same place cleaner, wes Marvel, swiss, 199, so that’s perfect, Let’s go ahead and replace our temporary title with that right, now we have the – so we can include Amar 529 words that appear in our canonical URL, and, you know and now that’s a very quick, explanation of, you know what to do, gift wrapping through did Max order quantity images are set you know description is done check marks right we made all of our key, keywords and then the last thing we do is in about a week right after being live will be able to see what Amazon is act, ashley Index right using r on Keyword Index tool, right, so basically what we do is we simply coming here, and we would, take me to ski words, we plug them in right all five different roads we take are a sin, we plug it into the AC on, right then all we do is check he wears and then it would tell us you know your your indexing for 30% 50% of 60, Percent of your keywords right and then all you do is use highlight the index keywords right, and then you download that that’s CSV to Excel file you replace, all of these cures only with Ickey Woods your indexing and then you try a new you know set of, now you’d only have index key words here and it breaks down super easily for you in the keyword in the, text Checker right and then once you do that, you can basically use your search term report from your PPC ad in any words that you’re definitely converting on right, i enter your keywords as well, these are in the Platinum keywords I just realize right so yeah you have to be careful here, wright’s cuz you don’t get platinum keywords as a, i’m normal seller Visa Platinum keywords are more for a seller’s like Nike and things like that, Right so we’ll go ahead and get rid of these Platinum keywords and Adam the Search terms were they should be.

At the beginning, right I’m so once you have once you have only index DeRozan are you can add terms that you are nowhere converting from your, pPC search term report right and then you can just go back into, set merchantwords an ad like actual phrases with repeats into your remaining lines right with the, highest volume to again right and then just do the same thing, only include the ones that are index and continue to add more you know different stuff, see if you can catch any further indexing right through keyword phrases and things like that and just you know once a week once a month, continue to iterate continue to remove things that are not indexing and add new experiments right and so, As far as this target audience, is concerned, i fill it out I haven’t seen a huge, play here sometimes you will, sometimes you will index for these things is obviously not something for kids as it is asthma, how much for adults right, so when it is for adults I usually use adult seniors man unisex adult and when it right the subject matter, cheese board, surveying, flattered, wine free Wisconsin Swiss more places that you can index, your keywords, so it’s not a huge deal but I mean it’s pretty easy, figure out, cheese board slate, cutlery, headed use, parties, gatherings, restaurants, right, so now we have a fully put together listing and we did it and you know 30 minutes to an hour, and it’s going to be a very well put together listing write IT addresses people’s concerns as far as customers it includes, A ton of cures that related to our product that we can tell whether or not their indexing and update and iterate based on a keyword, indexed results right and we can continue to tweak our title and bullets based off of rppc search, report right which shows has the truest data as far as what customers are actually typing what they’re actually clicking you know what, converting as far as the titles and things like that right and so we can come back and we can continue to iterate this and we’re going, going to have a hugely successful listing find a little trick that I like to do as far as saving time, you know immediately knowing what’s indexed right and another tool that I like to use besides just Merchant words and, google Keyword Planner sometimes just to like verify actual volume right because the volume on all of these different Amazon, Pacific search engines are actually actually just estimates right so I use Google Keyword Planner to verify fall, volume but I’ve already done that for this listing although I do recommend everyone verifies the search volume to make sure you let you know you’re above, that one k 210k monthly searches right you want to be either there or above it voice be worth it, most of the time I’m the one more tool right that I like to use is keyword inspector so for the top, listing competitor wise for the departure launching go ahead and go ahead and grab, radiation from the URL right here right Athens usually start with b or 0 on and they always look like this, i mean it’s usually after the detailed page in the URL so grab it go into keyword inspector right and keyword inspector is it, Another pay tool Merchants word is $9 a month using the discount specifically for our group you can find in the common question.

Document there is no discount for this one unfortunately but it is a unique service right, so it’s $20 a month I think for a hundred credits and what does does guy’s is you put on, mason into the line here and, it shows you reverse a certain keyword search rights of keywords are ranked best to lease conversion for 5 proprietary algorithm, a monthly search volume and shows ranked unique for its unique words rank calling the spelling right so gives you a ton of data, i’ve already run this specific acen so let’s take a look at what it gives us, so if we don’t to CSV, take a look, it gives us this document right here, Document has a ton of good stuff right so you can use these keyword phrases and what does it do, looks at the Ace in and then it finds you keyword phrases associated with that a sin right so it uses the indexing, use the PBC data and things like that right gives you an estimated search volume, it says what a secured position rank they have right so anything number one, have you rode in on charcuterie set it would be first furiden bambusi by Belmont this, mason would come up first and it was on organic search results right so there’s a lot of valuable data here, another cool part is the individual unique words right so if you take a look at the TPC module right, you can run these as your Loki bids and then you can find out exact customer searches to further iterate your PPC, Tkam pants right info here and so I went ahead and added these to my master list, i regenerated my tracemyip, master list of keywords right so I put those into my Search terms here, and then another final cool little trick that you guys can do is instead of waiting for, that week to see which key was your indexing for you can use keyword indexer with your mouth, master list right so I copy and pasted all of the keywords that I just put into my keyword set from Chris my feet, right into the key word in Dexter, right and then a cool thing you can do it instead of using your own a sin you can go ahead and use the number one or, organic ranked result of your nearest competitor into the key word in Dexter right, sophie Pace that in here, cool thing we can do is we can run the Keyword Index Checker right as I’ve already done that since it takes a second, So I can run it on there a sin right using our Master list of keywords and now it, it tells me exactly which of our master key words they are indexing for and so if, if you highlight just the indexed words download the CSV, then you can see, right after I’m removing the duplicates you can actually see, which keywords, they are indexing for which is very cool because it means you don’t have to wait, to figure anything out rice has no duplicates here so they’re obviously ranking for a cheese platter boards, set cutting knives right and so what we can do what we’ve done here guys is we’ve basically solved what, what we are going to index for without having to wait for that extra week right until we have a different Prada, Right so since our product is actually a slate board rather than a wooden board and we’d still want to include RC.

Slate keywords right but this gives us a very good idea as to which I’m keywords, we’re actually going to be raining for and so, nothing cool little trick right if you don’t want to wait if you have a park is extremely similar to a different product you kind of, skip the internet process and you can immediately add keywords that you know, for sure you’re going to rank for right and you want to be ranking for because Amazon’s deemed of these keywords, as relevant for the product that they are organically ranking as the number one position right, that’s a cool little trick you guys can use play around with I’m throwing those into your Search terms trying you know short tail phrase, Places with the highest volume from merchantwords from keyword inspector and you know just continually to continually iterate and, you’re going to find the best organic keywords right eventually you’re going to be indexing for all of them and when that happens you’re going to be, ranking for a number of different long tail search results right and your product is going to see higher, organic ranks which means more eyes twitch in the end means more sales.
