Wrote this in between making breakfast and cooking the turkey roll. I'm stunned at my own productivity. So, a Christmas present to all the Dirlies. (I'll post this on Ao3 in the next few days. Hopefully).
Maxiel, GEN, Christmas, sweet, soft happiness. 1.9k words. Unbetad (I barely gave it a second look).
What Max got Daniel for Christmas.
Tidings I bring
So far Christmas has been topnotch, he had gone for a run fully rugged up because holy fuck it was cold for a Perth Christmas morning. But the rising sun that had lit up the sky a beautiful orange had made it worth it. It felt like he was the only person in the world, running alone on the pavement, the trees changing colour as the sun had risen higher.
The only thing that had shattered the illusion of him being the only person in the world had been an old man with a giant ass dog that had sent him running across the road to the safety of a pedestrian pathway without a pony sized dog. Sure, the man had said with a giant smile that she was harmless but Daniel wasn't trusting any stranger's dog.
He had gotten back to his parents' place unaccosted by any other canine. Had a shower, and moved to the kitchen to empty the dishwasher and put stuff away in the correct cupboards, and then made himself a coffee with his parents’ new coffee machine.
His mum had walked in while he was finishing his coffee. She gave him a peck on the cheek and murmured, “Merry Christmas,” as she started getting things out for christmas breakfast.
He helped his mum with breakfast. Well, he helped by getting the fancy Christmas breakfast plates and cutlery from the back of the higher cabinets, washed the fruits, and yappes at her as she went about making delicious cheesy chicken sandwiches and sliced fruits.
Once the prep work was done, Daniel made them both an espresso.
Grace' lips had quirked up at the corner when she took a sip and tasted the grappa. The two of them sat at the kitchen bench, drinking their nicely boozed up espresso as they looked out the sliding doors into the garden dusted by sunlight. These were the moments he had missed the most when he had been away, the quiet moment with his family, with his mum, just existing together with people that loved him without reservation, no matter how much he fucked up.
These were the perfect moments.
He looked at the small mug in his hands, and thought about telling his mum that he was sorry that he had never won a World Championship. He was never going to get another chance because he was done. But this, here in the quiet kitchen of his parents home, surrounded by childhood memorabilia and the love of his mother, he was at peace with it.
He let the thought go, there would be a better time for it later. He has all the time now.
His phone pinged, he looked at his phone and frowned at the message.
MAXMILLIAN ⭐⭐⭐⭐: Are you at your parents’?
Daniel gnawed his lips as he typed out a response. Barely noticing his mum standing out to check the sandwiches.
DR3: yeah…❓❓❓
MAXMILLIAN ⭐⭐⭐⭐: I have your present.
DR3: better be a big one Maxy!
MAXMILLIAN ⭐⭐⭐⭐: It will be big.
“Anything important?” Grace asked.
Daniel blinked and smiled back, “All good. Just Max nailing out the details for my Christmas present.”
Grace’ raised a brow but didn't say anything else, just started to plate the cheesy deliciousness that Daniel couldn't wait to bite into.
…
Daniel hated the dumb wooden chairs for the outdoor dining, but they were having their Christmas lunch/dinner outside, and Daniel was the one that ended up with the job of getting them from the shed. Getting them wasn't the problem, the problem was having to dust off the damn cobwebs, and deal with the spiders and whatever else that had made their home on them. Urgh.
He should have swapped with his dad and started up the barbeque.
“Daniel.”
And oh look, now he was having auditory hallucinations, because that sure sounded like Max Verstappen calling his name. Which would be fucking ridiculous, the man would be at home at Christmas with his cookie cutter ready to go fa-
“Daniel.”
And fuck that was definitely Max's voice and his way of saying his name, ‘Danyul’. Daniel abandoned the stare off he had going with a spider, not like it mattered since the spider didn't even acknowledge his presence, and whipped around so fast he almost lost his balance. And standing on the steps of the his parents’ outdoor decking was Max fucking Verstappen in a short sleeved, oh my fucking god, Enchanté Parts & Services tee that Daniel had sent him but never thought he would wear, and and a pair of black shorts.
What in the name of his deeply buried sex dreams was happening?! (Okay, so most of them were honestly embarrassing soft fantasies about spending time together and doing super sappy things together, but that was not the point, Daniel). Oh, Max’s hair was looking good.
And oh yeah, speaking was required, “Max,” his voice sounded croaky, which he blamed how dry his throat had gotten. “Hi!” And that was much better.
“Hi Daniel,” Max said, voice soft and happy. Smile blooming across his face.
And Daniel felt his own face spreading with a giant smile in return. Max was here. Max was here! Max was here in his parents’ home on Christmas day!
They stood there looking at each other, smiles growing larger by the seconds. Before it could get awkward, his mum's cough broke the moment.
Daniel turned to look at her, eyes slowly blinking, he felt a bit dazed, must be the sunlight. His mum was looking at them with barely contained amusement, Daniel dimly noted that his dad was looking through the kitchen window. And oh yeah, there were other people around, and there were going to be more, over twenty people that were going to be invading the Ricciardo household for Christmas.
And oh my fucking god, Max was here at his parents' house on Christmas.
“Max, come in and have a gin and tonic. I got a nice brand I think you would love,” Grace said as she ushered Max into the house, throwing a pointed look at Daniel. And Daniel has no clue what to do but follow them back inside.
Daniel walked into the kitchen and noticed the giant fucking white box on the kitchen dining table. It had to have been half a metre tall and thirty centimetres wide. Standing next to it were two strangers, a man and a woman dressed in some sort of pale green uniform. They both had very polite customer smiles on their faces.
His dad was standing on the other side of the table, looking at it with a combination of suspicion and interest, Grace walked by without a glance and went straight to the liquor cabinet to grab the gin that she had promised Max.
Daniel looked at the box for several seconds before turning to look at Max. He waved at the thing with his hands, speechless.
Max's face was slightly pink as he rubbed the back of his head, and then looked up tentatively.
“Daniel, you didn't tell me what you wanted for Christmas, and I naturally wanted to get you something special. So.” He gestured at whatever the fuck that was.
“Uh,” Daniel uttered.
“So I thought about it, and had this made. But I wanted it to be fresh so it had to be made yesterday, and then I flew here from Monaco with it. Oh, and that's James and Louise, I was worried of something going wrong so I naturally had them accompa-”
“Wait. What. What do you mean something going wrong?” Daniel interrupted. How dangerous could his present be?
“Excuse me,” Louise politely interjected. “Perhaps it would be best if we show you?”
Max smiled, “Yes. That would be of course excellent.”
Daniel just nodded his head.
Louise and James brought out the box that had been hiding behind the giant whatever it was on the table. They opened it and retrieved a knife each, and before Daniel could panic they cut the strings tied around the box.
Max had moved next to Danie, his shoulder brushing Daniel's, and they had shared another smile before turning their attention to the unboxing. Grace had handed Max the promised gin and tonic, and moved next to Joe, the two of them sharing a bemused look as they looked upon two strangers unboxing a large box on their dining table.
It took several minutes to remove the strings carefully, and James had to stand up on the kitchen chair to get to the strings at the top. The card box came off slowly, and it took several seconds before Daniel realised what it was.
He distantly heard the soft gasp from his mum and exhale of, “fuck,” from his dad. And Daniel’s brain was obviously failing to comprehend anything.
Because on his fucking table was a giant sized replica of the World Championship trophy.
“Is that a cake?” Grace asked.
“Yes,” Max answered.
Daniel whipped his head around to stare at Max who was already looking at Daniel, waiting.
“It is a cheesecake,” Max said, ramping up to his full Max-explain mode, hands making gestures to emphasise his point. “The outside is a combination of white chocolate and buttercream, because of course fondant would be disgusting.” His nose scrunched up in disgust. “And Daniel, I did not wish to share a cheesecake with you and your loved ones with a bad tasting cake.”
And Daniel knew his face was doing something weird, he had always shown too much, unable to hide his emotions when it became too much. And this was too much. This was Max bringing him a piece of one of his best moments in life to share with Daniel and his loved ones. This was Max remembering a dumb present from years as a joke even though the sentiment of sharing it with each was all too real. This was Max coming to Perth, to his parents' home on Christmas day. This was Max making a fucking a statement but still giving Daniel a way out if he didn't want to acknowledge whatever they had been dancing around with for years now.
And Daniel could be cautious, could be cowardly, could make a joke, and Max would blink and then smile and move on. But Daniel was tired of being afraid, Daniel was tired of denying what had been brewing between them, and Daniel didn't want Max to stand there and wait for Daniel to be brave.
He moved, stunned Max in the middle of explaining how he had wanted the cake to be bigger, grabbed him by the back of his head and pulled and he leaned in. Daniel had thought about what it would have been like to kiss Max for years now, and he finally let himself have what he has wanted. His mouth met Max’s open mouth, and he kissed him deep. Max was only surprised for a second, he had responded almost straight away, hands going around Daniel's waist, pulling him closer and deepening the kiss. For a kiss years in the making it was incredibly soft and gentle. Both of them were aware how precious this was.
It was simply lovely.
When they finally pulled apart they were smiling like idiots at each other. They could have stood there looking at each forever if it wasn't interrupted.
“James and Louise, would you like to stay for lunch?” Grace asked from somewhere behind Daniel.
And fuck, Daniel’ eyes widened in horror as he realised he had just forgotten about his parents. Max’s eyes had also gone wide, mouth hanging open, and Daniel couldn't help it, Max truly did look like Sid the Sloth. He started cackling, had to leave heavily against Max and hold on or else he was going to fall over laughing.
Max pulled him in tighter and started giggling uncontrollably.
Best Christmas ever.

Do you have a list of all the people who’ve done the animations for MVs? To my knowledge they’re mostly omu but I’m wondering who else there may be regularly producing MVs
I spent all day putting the credits for every MV into a spreadsheet. stats time
omu has done the motion graphics for the most 2DMVs, with a total of 43 as of posting. This includes 33 event songs that were originally released as a 2DMV (only missing Glory Steady Go!, Tricologe, Metamo Re:born, Parasol Cider, CRaZY, and Purpose), 3 other commissions (Keitai Renwa, Aoiro Enogu, and Hurray), 1 Virtual Singer MV (Just Be Friends), and 6 covers (Inochi ni Kirawarete iru., the Kanade alt vocal MV for that song, Viva Happy, Miracle Paint, Jishou Mushoku and Hello, world!)
It seems they're entirely reserved for event commissions nowadays
The second most frequent animator is OTOIRO, who has done the motion graphics on 18 2DMVs. Their first MV was Otome Kaibou, and some of their other MVs include TONDEMO-WONDERZ, Salamander, PaIII.SENSATION, and three of the 2022 April Fools MVS.
Interestingly every MV they've worked on has had a director and they're usually the animator on MVs with a bigger production team (aside from the traditionally animated ones like Gunjou Sanka and NEO which don't have motion graphics, and also Tokugawa Cup Noodle Kinshirei)
Next would be Lye, who has worked on 11 MVs. The first MV they worked on was Jackpot Sad Girl, but their other works include Traffic Jam, STAGE OF SEKAI, and Twilight Light.
There's multiple MVs made by motion graphics artists from a group called THINGS. One of these animators is Akito Nakayama, who has worked on 6 MVs, the 4th most out of anyone. Some of the MVs he worked on were Shoujorei, IDSMILE, and the April Fools Venom cover
Another member of THINGS has started working on MVs recently, and I've seen a lot of people say they're one of the best editors we've had. That would be NUL, who did the animations for Darling Dance, purpose, and DAYBREAK FRONTLINE
3 other members of THINGS have worked on MVs. Takumi Osera worked on the April Fools MV for Positive☆Dance Time and the vsinger MV for potato ni Natte iku, ZIIEK worked on Amanojaku, and Hano worked on Cutlery
Another editor that's popped up recently is Aoespring, who did the Villain and Fixer MVs. (on Fixer they're credited with (STUDIO KAIBA) which I'm assuming is a studio they belong to, not sure why it's only listed on one of their MVs though)
The only other editors to have done more than one MV are Ikumi (magic number, ray, Doctor=Funk Beat, Phony), Norainu (Glory Steady Go!, Cosmospice, Parasol Cider), Mizuki (Time Machine, Cinema, Chururira) and Guu (Warera Stain Busters!, CRaZY)
There are actually 10 MVs that don't credit an animator. These are Fragile (Bad Dogs cover), Hibana -Reloaded-, Happy Synthesizer (MMJ cover), Bocca della Verità, Sweet Magic (WxS cover), Roku-chou nen to Ichiya Monogatari, Chikyuu Saigo no Kokuhaku o, Positive☆Dance Time (WxS cover), Ren'ai Saiban, and Aishite Aishite Aishite. The last one does credit a text animator and compositor though so I guess one of them edited the rest of the video (the compositor probably would've done it)
#considering i'm on my second year of vfx/motion graphics lessons at college it's a bit sad that i just said#“i guess they were the editor”#asks

National Fast Food Day
National Fast Food Day celebrates fast food restaurants and the food that they sell. Fast food usually consists of prepackaged and ready-made food that can be quickly cooked—often by deep frying or microwaving—and eaten; most is designed to be eaten on the go, and does not require cutlery. Common fast foods include burgers, french fries, fried chicken, fish and chips, pizza, tacos, chicken nuggets, hot dogs, sandwiches, and ice cream. Fast food is typically high in sugar, salt, saturated fat, and calories, and is linked to many health problems. Fast food restaurants usually sell food at either a counter or a drive-through. Franchising, where there is uniformity in food and presentation between restaurants, is an important aspect of fast food. Besides franchise restaurants, gas station and convenience store food is sometimes seen as fast food, as is some food from street vendors.
The roots of fast food can be traced back to ancient Rome. Thermopoliums were small shops that sold food—such as hot sausages and bread—on-the-go. Urban apartment dwellers of the middle and lower classes often ate these foods. During the Middle Ages, vendors sold food to people in larger cities such as London and Paris. After 1860, fish and chip shops became prevalent in the United Kingdom, and became popular with the working classes. By the 1920's there were more than 35,000 of these shops.
The term "fast food" may first have been used in America by George G. Foster, who in his book, New York Slices, published in 1848, referred to the fast paced food in New York City's business district. An automat, a cafeteria with vending machines with pre-made food, was opened by Horn & Hardart, in 1902, in Philadelphia. A decade later they opened one in New York City, which created a sensation, and many more were built across the country, leading to the popularity of automats during the 1920's and 1930's.
Technological, social, and economic changes in America led to a boom in fast food restaurants by the second half of the 20th century. Following World War I, automobiles became popular and affordable, and curb service restaurants were created in the 1920's. During the post-World War II economic boom, people spent more and bought more, creating a culture of consumerism that led to both men and women working outside the home. Eating outside the home—which was once a luxury—thus became commonplace, because of expendable cash, and in some instances because it was a necessity. By 1951 Merriam-Webster had added "fast food" to their dictionary.
Franchising, which brought uniformity in the practices of particular restaurants, also fueled the boom of fast food. A&W opened in 1921, and became a franchise in 1923. Many see it as the first fast food restaurant. White Castle also opened in 1921, in Wichita, Kansas, and sold hamburgers for five cents each. They standardized the food production of fast food hamburger restaurants, which other restaurants, such as McDonald's, built on. McDonald's was created by two brothers, Richard and Maurice McDonald, in 1940, in San Bernardino, California. Originally it was a drive-in that focused on barbecue, but once the brothers saw the popularity of their hamburgers, they closed for three months, and reopened in 1948 with a new focus. Besides hamburgers, their menu included french fries, shakes, coffee, and Coca-Cola, and they served their food in a paper wrapping. At fifteen cents, their hamburgers were about half the price of ones available at diners. Ray Kroc made a franchise agreement and opened McDonald's restaurants in Illinois, and in 1961 he bought out the brothers. In 1953, another important hamburger based fast food restaurant was started in Florida, and would eventually be known as Burger King. Not all early fast food focused on hamburgers though, as the Kentucky Fried Chicken franchise opened in 1952.
Today the United States has the largest fast food industry in the world. There are close to 200,000 fast food restaurants in the United States, where over 50 million customers are served every day. About 44% of Americans eat at a fast food restaurant each week, and 11% of the calorie intake of adults in the United States comes from fast food. American fast food restaurants are now in over 125 countries, and the intake of fast food worldwide continues to rise. But, fast food has not expanded without criticism. Besides facing criticism for the nutritiousness of its food, the industry has also been pilloried for paying its workers low wages, usually without benefits. Over half of fast food workers are on some sort of public assistance, which has cost taxpayers 7 million dollars annually.
How to Observe National Fast Food Day
Celebrate the day by eating fast food, as you finally have a good excuse to do it! Order fast food at a counter and eat it inside, or go through a drive-through and eat your food somewhere else. There are many restaurants you could choose from. If you are not one to eat fast food, you could watch Super Size Me, or read Fast Food Nation, or watch the eponymously titled film that was based off the book.

Delightful Dining
Bardish Roasthouses, In Brief
Hey folks! Managed to squeeze this bit of Worldbuilding out, just about. Hope you like it!
Tagging @athenswrites @theprissythumbelina @hessdalen-globe @caxycreations @thatndginger @username-cause-i-need-one
The Practice
The Bardish Roasthouse is a form of dining establishment commonly found in the urban centres of the Republic of Bardin. As the name would suggest, they primarily serve large portions of various forms of roast meat, commonly lamb, beef, and chicken, accompanied by assorted dishes unique to each individual House.
Roasthouses are primarily communal establishments, catering to large groups of diners. Their basic configuration centers on an 'island', where the large pillars of meat roast on spits while displayed to diners arrayed around them. Low tables surround the island, which can fit half a dozen or more, seated on cushions or the lavish carpeting. Rice, stewed vegetables, and rich pastries are common accompaniments to the meat, though more exotic dishes are served by some less orthodox Houses.
The History
A stable fixture of the modern Bardish culinary scene, the Roasthouse is the product of a long tradition of communal dining dating back centuries, well before the earliest historical records of the region were made. It is thought that they are an evolution of the practices of the once nomadic forebears of Bardin, who lived off the land as they drifted across the region and relied on shared cooking utensils and equipment. Having settled down to form their numerous city states across the North Alphanian coast, many of their practices were adapted to suit more sedentary lifestyles.
The Roasthouse was one such adaptation, providing a fixed location for a community to gather and feast. And yet, while the basic communal spirit of dining remained a key element of the Roasthouse 'experience', some such establishments would take on a different role in the rapidly changing social fabric of Bardish life and society.
As the region's commercial interests and political machines both rapidly expanded, many Roasthouses began to cater exclusively to these upper crusts of society, with prices to match. They became a comfortable place to settle matters of business, and a confidential one for the countless political movers and shakers vying for the chance to shape the course of the land. Such establishments would gain an air of mystery to them, surviving even the formation of the Republic and unification of the realm to continue serving these special customers.
Because of this, many Roasthouses would never entirely shake off their association with shady dealings and unseemly practices. A number of famous Bardish commercial and political scandals have featured private Roasthouse dealings prominently, occasionally leading to calls for their investigation. However, as the general quality of life of the Bardish citizenry continues to stay fairly well off, the institution of the Roasthouse has again opened itself to all comers, and has remained a major element in that society's rich social fabric.
The Manners
Probably the most curious aspect of the most traditional Roasthouse experience comes with the cutlery, or lack thereof. Aside from the region's common practice of dining with hands, it is often expected that diners will come to the table with their own sets of cutlery. Such items often serve as an excuse to display one's wealth and taste to their peers, or act as identifying symbols connected to various regions, organisations, or professions. For a commonly subdued society, this practise is often seen by foreigners as an unusually ostentatious display.

Josephine Garis Cochran (sometimes spelled Cochrane) (1839-1913) is largely unknown now, but she should be declared the patron saint of the modern busy family. For in 1886, she patented the first commercial dishwasher.
Cochran wanted a machine that would save time washing dishes, and would prevent broken crockery. She was convinced that there had to be a mechanical solution to the tedium of dishwashing. Josephine grew up in a family of engineers, but finding no one that could or would invent such a machine, she vowed, “If nobody else is going to invent a dishwashing machine, I’ll do it myself.”
So she invented a contraption of gears, belts, and pulleys that could take a cage filled with over 200 dirty dishes, and would re-appear a few minutes later with the dishes as clean as if they had been hand-washed. Her machine, unlike others that had been attempted, was the first to use water pressure rather than scrubbers to clean the dishes. It also had fitted racks to hold the dishes and cutlery in place.
Once her patent application, under the name of “J.G. Cochran” was approved, the next challenge was production. “I couldn’t get men to do the things I wanted in my way until they had tried and failed in their own,” Josephine later explained. “And that was costly for me. They knew I knew nothing, academically, about mechanics, and they insisted on having their own way with my invention until they convinced themselves my way was the better, no matter how I had arrived at it.”
In 1886, with the aid of a young mechanic named George Butters, she set to work in a woodshed behind her home bringing the first prototype to life.
Once she had the patent and a machine, she had to sell the dishwashers. Although she wanted to sell directly to women, as they would appreciate how much drudgery the machine eliminated, because very few households in the 19th century could afford to pay over $100 for an appliance, her main customers were large hotels and restaurants.
She was successful at sales, but it was very difficult to challenge the mores of the 19th century, to enter these establishments on her own. When discussing selling to a large hotel, she described it as “almost the hardest thing I ever did, I think, crossing the great lobby of the Sherman House alone. You cannot imagine what it was like in those days…for a woman to cross a hotel lobby alone. I had never been anywhere without my husband or father—the lobby seemed a mile wide. I thought I should faint at every step, but I didn’t—and I got an $800 order as my reward.”
In 1893, she exhibited her dishwashers at the Columbian Exhibition World’s Fair in Chicago, and the orders came pouring in from schools, colleges, hospitals and other large institutions. Her product, the Garis-Cochran Dishwasher was a success.
With the assistance of her business partner, George Butters, they opened a factory in 1898, Cochran’s Crescent Washing Machine Company. At first the dishwashing machines were used primarily by large businesses and institutions, but decades later, Cochran’s invention eventually evolved into the appliance considered essential by millions of householders today.
Cochran died of a stroke in 1913, a very successful businesswoman. Her company was bought out in 1926 by the Hobart Corporation which produced appliances under the KitchenAid brand. In 1986, KitchenAid was acquired by Whirlpool.
Josephine Garis Cochran was inducted into the National Inventors Hall of Fame in 2006. In 2013, on the 100 year anniversary of her death, the country of Romania (a country with which Cochran had no connection) issued a postage stamp in her honor, an indication of just how widespread her influence was.

Finding the other wearing their clothes.
Steph around his penthouse isn't an uncommon sight. They've been together again, properly this time, for a couple of years now so of course she has a spare key into the place. Has the spare room even though they regularly ending up sharing. She has her own sets of things here, towels, cutlery, clothes, toothbrush, other hygiene products. Tim has seen her in various states of dress and somehow, seeing her in a pair of his pajama pants and a shirt that he'd wondering the location of was doing things to him.
Both of them half awake, the coffee machine still warming up, the mid morning sun rising above Gotham's skyline. Steph's hair is a mess. Tim definitely still has bed head. And still, she looks like a goddess to him. He wasn't sure when he crossed the room to her, but there he was, arms wrapped loosely around her middle and nuzzling lazily into her neck.
"Morning."

Simple Ideas for Organizing Your Modular Kitchen
Source of info: https://www.regalokitchens.com/blog/simple-ideas-for-organizing-your-modular-kitchen
Introduction Find easy but effective techniques to improve functionality and set up your modular kitchen. These suggestions guarantee an organized and successful layout, from using pull-out drawers and corner units to adding vertical storage to take advantage of space. To make your daily tasks easier, include labelled containers, modular dividers, and areas dedicated for groceries, spices, and dishes. With these useful ideas, you can transform your kitchen into a smooth working area that creates a balance between comfort and style.
Use Vertical Space Optimizing vertical space can greatly improve usefulness in a modular kitchen. Install open shelves or tall cabinets to hold things like large dishes for serving or seasonal cookware that aren't used often. By installing hooks or boards with holes on the wall, you can preserve important counter and drawer space by displaying mugs, cutting boards, and appliances. This not only cleans your kitchen but also gives it a large, well-organized appearance.
Invest in Drawer Organizers Smart drawer systems are one of the most notable features of a modern kitchen. Think of using organizers or dividers to increase the effective use of these storage spaces. Cutlery, knives, and smaller kitchen tools can be separated with the use of them, guaranteeing that each item has its own location. Having well-organized drawers makes cooking and cleaning easier and reduces down on time spent searching for goods.
Label and Categorize A simple yet effective organizing trick is to label shelves and containers. Group things in your modular kitchen, such as tools, grains, snacks, and spices. To make it easy to see what's in your pantry, use clear containers. Labeling makes the kitchen easier for family members to use and keeps everything clean.
Optimize Corner Spaces Kitchen corners are often ignored, but modular kitchen layouts provide creative ways for dealing with these challenging areas. Pull-out corner trays or rotating units can be installed to make corner areas practical and easily accessible. To make sure no space in your kitchen is wasted, you can use them to store pots, pans, and even cleaning materials.
Include Pull-Out Systems The Modular kitchen is popular for their pull-out mechanisms, which make it simple to access items that have been stored. These solutions, which range from bottle pull-outs to spice racks, are great for keeping essentials close at hand. To arrange food and other supplies in a methodical manner in bigger cabinets, think about using pantry units or pull-out baskets.
Maintain a Mess Free Countertop A countertop clear of mess is important for both function and beauty in a modular kitchen. When not in use, keep equipment like toasters and blenders in dedicated cupboards or appliance storage areas. Only place things on the countertop, such a fruit dish or coffee machine. This method not only improves looks but also gives enough room for cooking.
Make Use of Under-Sink Storage When properly organized, the space under the sink, which is sometimes ignored, can be used as an excellent place to store items. Put in baskets or under-sink organizers to store trash bags, cleaning supplies, and dishwashing supplies. To prevent any bad smells or damage to the cabinets, make sure this area is maintained dry and clean.
Zone Your Kitchen Your cooking process can be simplified by creating different areas in your modular kitchen. Make separate spaces for cleaning, storing, cooking, and preparation. For example, store cleaning materials near the sink and commonly used equipment close to the cooking area. Zoning improves your kitchen's overall productivity by reducing unnecessary movement.
Light It Up For the modular cooking area to stay clean, proper lighting is important. For work spaces like counters and kitchen areas, use task lighting. LED strips placed below cabinets can light up dark drawers and corners, making it simpler to find objects. Along with being more practical, well-lit areas are also more attractive.
Organize Regularly Over time, even the most well-organized modular kitchen can start to look messy. Make time each month to organize your drawers and cabinets and get rid of anything that is not wanted or outdated. This method guarantees that your kitchen stays clean and allows you to rearrange it according to your changing needs. Simple Ideas for Organizing Your Modular Kitchen
Source of Info:https://www.regalokitchens.com/blog/simple-ideas-for-organizing-your-modular-kitchen
Introduction
Find easy but effective techniques to improve functionality and set up your modular kitchen.
1. Use Vertical Space
Optimizing vertical space can greatly improve usefulness in a modular kitchen.
2. Invest in Drawer Organizers
Smart drawer systems are one of the most notable features of a modern kitchen.
3. Label and Categorize
A simple yet effective organizing trick is to label shelves and containers. Group things in your modular kitchen, such as tools, grains, snacks, and spices. To make it easy to see what's in your pantry, use clear containers. Labeling makes the kitchen easier for family members to use and keeps everything clean.
4. Optimize Corner Spaces
Kitchen corners are often ignored, but modular kitchen layouts provide creative ways for dealing with these challenging areas. Pull-out corner trays or rotating units can be installed to make corner areas practical and easily accessible. To make sure no space in your kitchen is wasted, you can use them to store pots, pans, and even cleaning materials.
5. Include Pull-Out Systems
The Modular kitchen is popular for their pull-out mechanisms, which make it simple to access items that have been stored. These solutions, which range from bottle pull-outs to spice racks, are great for keeping essentials close at hand. To arrange food and other supplies in a methodical manner in bigger cabinets, think about using pantry units or pull-out baskets.
6. Maintain a Mess Free Countertop
A countertop clear of mess is important for both function and beauty in a modular kitchen. When not in use, keep equipment like toasters and blenders in dedicated cupboards or appliance storage areas. Only place things on the countertop, such a fruit dish or coffee machine. This method not only improves looks but also gives enough room for cooking.
7. Make Use of Under-Sink Storage
When properly organized, the space under the sink, which is sometimes ignored, can be used as an excellent place to store items. Put in baskets or under-sink organizers to store trash bags, cleaning supplies, and dishwashing supplies. To prevent any bad smells or damage to the cabinets, make sure this area is maintained dry and clean.
8. Zone Your Kitchen
Your cooking process can be simplified by creating different areas in your modular kitchen. Make separate spaces for cleaning, storing, cooking, and preparation. For example, store cleaning materials near the sink and commonly used equipment close to the cooking area. Zoning improves your kitchen's overall productivity by reducing unnecessary movement.
9. Light It Up
For the modular cooking area to stay clean, proper lighting is important. For work spaces like counters and kitchen areas, use task lighting. LED strips placed below cabinets can light up dark drawers and corners, making it simpler to find objects. Along with being more practical, well-lit areas are also more attractive.
10. Organize Regularly
Over time, even the most well-organized modular kitchen can start to look messy. Make time each month to organize your drawers and cabinets and get rid of anything that is not wanted or outdated. This method guarantees that your kitchen stays clean and allows you to rearrange it according to your changing needs.

A Deep Dive into the Precious Metals E-Waste Recovery Market: Insights and Analysis
The global precious metals e-waste recovery market size is anticipated to reach USD 8.75 billion by 2030, registering a CAGR of 5.0% from 2024 to 2030, according to a new report by Grand View Research, Inc. The demand for precious metals, including gold, silver, palladium, and platinum in industrial applications is projected to benefit the market growth. Gold is used in electronics, medical treatments, and aerospace applications. Silver has applications in the electronics, antibiotics, photography, cutlery, and energy sectors. Platinum and palladium have applications in the electronics, catalytic conversion, computer parts, medicine, and oil refining sectors, among others. Consumer electronics, such as cell phones, laptops, etc., have a short life span.
These products are updated regularly by manufacturing companies, and thus, new models are released in the market. This generates a high volume of end-of-life electronic products that contain high-value metals. This has boosted the recovery of precious metals as many companies have realized the potential of such electronic waste. The recycling rate in North America and Asia Pacific is very low compared to European countries. This represents an opportunity for market participants, as these two regions also have high e-waste generation in the world. Many companies have started investing in precious metals e-waste recovery as the value of metals obtained after recycling is very high.
For instance, Hindalco Industries Ltd. announced an investment of USD 240.9 million for e-waste and copper recycling in India. The rising awareness about sustainability across different end-use industries has been a pivotal factor driving the adoption of recycled precious metals. One key aspect of this awareness is the realization that traditional metal production, which involves extracting and refining raw ore, is resource-intensive and contributes significantly to carbon emissions. This fuels the demand for recycled metals as they mitigate the requirement for such energy-intensive processes. These metals align with principles of circular economy wherein materials can be reused and recycled, thereby reducing the overall environmental footprint.
