Bree Van de Kamp, the most successful and put together woman on Wysteria lane, she had the house, the cars, the husband, and the kids, she had the life everyone wanted. Well up until a few weeks ago that is, now she stood eyes glazed over staring out the window from her kitchen, a glass bottle in her hand she lifted it to her lips again and tears started to fall, ahe lowered it, her ring clinking against the side, she looked down at the now forgotten wedding band. she turned it against her finger before setting the bottle down and fully sliding it off, she tuened it over in her fingers, a tear ran down her face not because she lost the man she loved but because she lost eveything. She stuck by his side when they were having marrige issues, he even cheated on her and she stayed with him, but her world started to unravel when news got out, and then the Solice's and their mother that andrew hit and everything with her daughter, it was all to much. Then Rex had the nerve to die and leave her here to deal with it all.

She looked at the ring one more time before throwing it across the room, it hit the wall and fell, then she took the gods on the counter and chucked it as well letting it shattered strong the ring, what she didn’t know was you were at the front door and heard the crash rushing in you found her reaching for the bottle.

“Bree?” You called making her face you.

“Oh god what do you want?”

“What’s going on?”

“why would you care?”

“because I do, I care about you, I came over to check in with you, make sure you’re holding up okay.”

“Holding up okay… that’s one way to put it.”

You turned being met with Bree staring back at you the gorgeous redhead that you had accidentally confessed your feelings to and then ran out, way to drop a bomb there Y/N. “Um… Bree hey um…”

“Can we talk?”

“oh yea ignore the laptop, join me.” You folded the computer and quickly placed it in front of you while patting the couch for her to join you. She delicately sat next to you not making eye contact, you gave her the floor to speak and waited.

“Uhumm I’m not sure how to say this so here goes, you know how they say you don’t know you’ve lost something until you need it the most?”

“Yea.”

“We’ll that’s you or at least for me, the other night I finally understood why I was so mad at myself for wearing that stupid ring and it was because it kept me from you, from day one with everything I felt different around you, I always wanted to be with you and had you on my mind… I guess what I’m trying to say is that without knowing it I’ve been in love with you this whole time.” She turned to you with tears in her eyes, you didn’t know what to say so you held out your arms and she leaned into you, you wrapped her in your arms and just held her. When you finally pulled apart she asked you a question that burned in her, “so does this mean I can kiss you now, I’m not sure what to do?”

“baby you can do a lot more than just kiss me.” You smirked as she made contact with your lips, you deepened the kiss, running your hand down her side as you laid her back on the couch she arched into you as your lips collided and bodies pressed into each other. You pulled away laying foreheads together allowing you to catch your breath, “Are you sure about this?”

“Y/N I’m not sure about anything anymore.”

“We don’t have to go any farther we can take it slow.”

you pulled back your eyes gazing into hers and seeing the deep emotions swirling behind those blue orbs, you leaned down kissing her again before getting off and pulling her up with you. “Please, Y/N I…”

“Not here… I’m not going to let the first time I’m with the woman I love be in my living room couch.” There was a silence as her mouth gaped and then closed behind you as she followed you upstairs, you slowly opened the door to your bedroom and she stepped in, she nervously stood inside as you came up behind her and ran your hands over her shoulders and down her sides placing kisses gently she turned in your arms and you continued kissing down her neck. You quickly worked to undress each other until she was in a matching set of bras and panties and you stood in your bra and pants, she slowly undid the button sliding them down to the floor and kneeling before you, she slowly stood before you as you looked down at her, you lifted her chin placing a kiss on her lips as she wrapped her arms around you.

you quickly hoisted her up wrapping her legs around your waist continuing the kisses, you walked over and slowly placed her on the bed. You kissed down her body teasing her by kissing her thighs down the outside and then up the inner thigh. You spent your night like that learning each others bodies and in the morning you awoke.

You thought it was all a dream until you realized a familiar weight draped across your torso red hair splayed across your chest as she rested on you, your breathing in sync your legs tangled together under dark satin sheets cool against the exposed skin.

ANYWAYS today's question: do you have or want to have any merch connected to your story? What would be most fun? A plushie of MC or maybe a hoodie with some characteristic logo? Or maybe something completely different?

I don't have any merch for any of my stuff, mostly because it only lives in my writing group. For Wysteria, I think it would be cute to make a little book that represents her grimoire. Beela's book involves gathering a bunch of items, so we could get plushies or other artifacts to match

Posting my hot takes

S - Wizard City is definitely here because of nostalgia LMAO. But still, out of all the Arc 1 worlds it’s still definitely my favorite - and without a doubt the most iconic out of all of them. For obvious reasons, but I also think all the different area designs and the variation that came with the different streets was really cool to see and it was exciting to visit them the first time I ever got a membership. I mean yeah the streets were still mostly the same but there was some creativity taken when it came to portraying the different themes associated with each of them, which is more than I can say for the rest of the Arc 1 worlds. Plus the Commons and Ravenwood are just too iconic for me to ever forget.

A - Wysteria is also here because of nostalgia - it was the first ever test realm I ever joined, and I still think the area design holds up to this day. I think we need more cute little side worlds that open up early that don’t need sprawling plots. Celestia and Zafaria are the first two worlds after Arc 1 ends and you can immediately tell the difference in design philosophy, with almost every area being unique from the rest - especially in Celestia. I enjoyed them a lot… disregarding some of the boss fights.

B - Grizzleheim is alright, it’s another early game side world that wasn’t bad but wasn’t really that exciting (granted I did run through it when I was extremely overleveled and got like zero exp out of it). Wintertusk falls into a similar category where I kinda hyped it up in my head as a kid a brutal area where I’d get my ass kicked over and over again and when I finally did it it was just… alright? I literally solo’s the entire area, final dungeon and all. It was alright.

Dragonspyre, if memory serves me right, is a bit different from the other Arc 1 worlds in that it’s area design is a bit more varied, but it still sort of blended together - what with the monotonous red and black color scheme.

Avalon is a more interesting example in that I should in theory really enjoy it, but I don’t really know. It was okay, but I don’t think it quite lived up to my expectations as a little kid. The final stretch was especially a slog to get through, which may have tainted my opinion on it just a bit.

C - Ah, the arc 1 worlds - where most of the design just boils down to copy and pasting a single hallway over and over again with the slightest variation in decor. Look, I get that these were the first worlds and perhaps they didn’t have the resources to make them as interesting as they wanted to. If any of these worlds were released today, I’m sure they could get a whole lot more mileage out of of the themes and inspirations than just sticking the player inside a pyramid for around five hours of playtime. But still, the point still stands - these are boring as hell from a design standpoint. Marleybone especially, because the charm of running around rooftops wears out incredibly quickly.

Byron (MidCin): he first caught my attention in the prologue since he was in gothic attire and our supposed enemy. He wasn’t available at the time so I had to suffice with his appearances in other routes and finally his debut event story. He came off as stoic, but still kind and thoughtful. It left me wanting more. Once his route came out, I got to learn more about him. Byron had a lot of hardships growing up, from his dictator father and having to overthrow him and take over the throne at 16 to repairing a broken kingdom where everyone just saw him as another copy of his father due to looking like a carbon copy of him and only being able to trust Nico and Albert, all while locking away his emotions. Regardless of the odds stacked against him, he never let it blacken his heart and not only did he revive the kingdom into prosperity, he became a benevolent ruler. He’s even willing to help out Wysteria when they were threatened on several occasions, even if the country was wary of his own. He has such a kind and beautiful soul and I love the moments where he can let down his guard and joke and laugh and smile just like any normal person.

Isaac (IkeVamp): the first time he grabbed my attention was in the first story event I did when I first started playing back in 2022 (Two Hearts, Two Lives, One Love: Part 3). I thought his story was really sweet and cute and it also made me vote for him in that event. A little while after I finally played his route and the rest was history. Isaac is prickly at first, but once you make it past that he is an absolute sweetheart. He’s a very awkward and shy person, but he cares about the people around him and does his best to help in whatever way he can, from teaching underprivileged kids to protecting MC whenever she’s in danger. Poor guy had a rough life when he was human, from abandonment to people stealing his work, so I’m glad he finally finds a place in his new life where he has caring friends, a family, and love. The moments where you see him starting to trust MC and falling in love with her are so sweet and it’s so nice to see his character growth and read about him improving his communication skills and opening up in general. Plus I love how adorable he is and how he lights up and gets animated when he’s able to tinker with things or talk about his research.

Yves (IkePri): he was the second route I played and initially I found him a little annoying with his attitude, but that went out the window as I started seeing more of his kind and sweet side. He puts on an air to hide how inadequate he feels and protect his heart. He uses beauty as armor and to hold his head high in the midst of people looking down on him because of his lineage. He uses the excuse of surveilling MC as a way to be there for her and protect her from the harsh life in the palace. Yves cares so much for his brothers and Rhodolite, but never extended that kind of compassion towards himself. Reading him cry how he wishes he was anyone else but him and saying he hated himself broke my heart and left me sobbing. If there was ever a time I wish I could cross over into a fictional world and give a character a hug, that would’ve been it. This is also why it is so heartwarming to see Yves’s progression go from wishing he was anyone else but him to being happy about who he is and getting stronger in every way every time. And while he may look delicate and weak, he is far from it. He works hard to improve himself to not only better himself, but to protect those he loves.

Gilbert (IkePri): I can’t go too much into details like I want to due to spoilers, but I’ll try my best to express my feelings. First off he caught my eye when I stumbled across him on the JP side back in Summer 2022. Gothic eyepatch prince? Dark haired red-eyed character? Our enemy? Check, check, and check! I love how Gilbert can either be this intimidating man that can bring people to their knees all while wearing a smile on his face to a complete dork who loves eating and trying to make friends. Boy is an obvious walking red flag and toxic, but (in fiction) if you look past that, he’s also a caring person in his own unique way. Sure the tactics that he uses on MC to isolate her are not good, but at the same time he’s protecting her from people that are up to no good, opening her eyes to corruption as a means to be careful about who you trust, and pushing her to be more outspoken and assertive so that they don’t walk all over her. Plus I love villain characters so that’s a bonus.

Luka (IkeRev):  my eyes locked on him in the trailer when the game was first announced, but I never got around to playing until late 2022. While I was playing Jonah’s route he was starting to captivate me and when I finally got to read his route it was like cupid hit me. He’s another guy who’s prickly at first, but is honestly a kind and sweet guy. He lived his life in the wings in the Clemence family and had no purpose in life other than to be a spare, but Luka broke through and forged his own path. He joined the Black Army and rose up the ranks to be the Jack of Spades. He trains hard everyday to the point of exhaustion and still manages to train his squad and cook up delicious meals.  He never really knew about love and I love seeing him find his found family in the Black Army officers and experience love with MC. He also goes through an arc of learning about how to care about himself more and not throwing himself into dangerous situations thoughtlessly. He learns to open up to others and even slowly rebuild his brotherly relationship with Jonah. And with all the new things he’s learned he’s also able to help out others so they don’t have to go through what he’s gone through, like Levie in his Looking Glass route/sequel. Plus he’s an adorable dork and has a cute hamster, need I say more?

Authors Note: Hi Nonny! Well after saying I wouldn’t be writing any celebration drabbles… look what you made me do!! This thought was too cute/fluffy/fun not to write down. I was planning some Moments-verse one-shots, but this wasn’t one of them haha. This outtake would be set somewhere between chapters 8 & 9 of Moments, when the Darbys are sojourning at Aubrey Hall. (ie they all know James is Benedict’s son, but it’s before reader and Benedict get together). Unbetaed. Enjoy! <3

“Jamesssss, can you see? So many colours lookkkkk,” Benedict slurs with a happy grin, his eye pressed against an empty crystal glass as you all await dinner service.

James picks up his glass and smushes it against his face. “I see! I seeeee!” he enthuses.

The fact he has his little 5-year-old eye closed makes it more adorable somehow, not quite cottoning on, but loving the attention from his favourite person.

You turn pointedly to Colin. “He was fine before you went to see him; what happened?” You quiz quietly.

“This,” Colin gestures at Benedict, who is now staring at the ceiling with a frown, “is NOT my fault. I merely offered a small elixir. I did not suggest he drain my supply. If anything, I should be the indignant one, I have nothing left!” he argues. You just raise an eyebrow.

“Benedict, I can see mummy in my glass!” James exclaims, giggling, turning towards you, looking through the bottom of the glass at you. You smile indulgently at him and pull a funny face that makes him laugh more.

“Alas, James, I cannot in mine!” Benedict pouts in response, “you must have a very special glass. Can I borrow it?”

James happily stands up on his chair and passes it over.

“Oh yes!! I see her now,” Benedict says happily, fixing the glass in your direction, “she is so very pretty, isn’t she, James?”

The table goes quiet, and you blush.

“Mummy is very pretty,” James concurs, oblivious to the audience the pair now have. “She says I’m handsome too.”

“Of course you are!” Benedict cries in agreement.

“Yes, she told me my daddy was the most beautiful man she ever saw, and she couldn’t help but create me with him.” James babbles on, playing with his fork idly. You wish the floor would swallow you up as you feel everyone’s eyes on you.

“Well, I think you are the most beautiful creature ever created,” Benedict declares, dropping his fist to the table as if to emphasise his point. “So your mummy is very wise. She is wise and pretty and lovely. So very lovely.”

You stare at him as he lowers the glass from his face, lips parted, heart pounding at his words.

“She is also very naughty cos she stole my heart many years ago and never gave it back,” Benedict says in a stage whisper to James, behind his hand, “but shhhhh, that part is a secret!”

Your stomach flips and butterflies roar to life in your rib cage—something breathtaking and bittersweet all at once.

“I won’t tell her,” James whispers back loudly with a conspiratorial wink.

They both turn to you and grin innocently, humming a nonchalant tune. Everyone at the table seems to chuckle, and quiet conversation resumes, no doubt about what they just witnessed.

After a few moments of thought, you turn to Colin and say quietly. “Are you sure there is none left?”

He smiles enigmatically and asks why.

“No reason,” you say quickly, your cheeks blushing yet again.

At that point, Benedict tips off his chair, James gets the hiccups from laughing so hard, and the moment is gone.

Ahhh what even to say to this? Thank you to everyone! I'm glad I've come back to writing and found my new home in the Moon Knight/Oscar Isaac Fandom.

Absolutely stuck on thinking about this one. For the record I am picturing them all with their Stuff because cat Radar in his jeep cap and glasses is way too cute.

Henry: Troutstar. Clan leader! Gray tabby. Nothing particularly notable about him but he definitely loses his last life as leader in a drowning incident.

Potter: Elkdapple, later Elkstar. Horse -something felt too on the nose. Small, brown ticked tabby. Fierce and dedicated deputy, exceptional Clan leader. Very enthusiastic about the farm on the territory.

Margaret: Firejaw! (lovingly provided by dante-wysteria from the MASHoles server, whose tumblr I unfortunately don't know) Fairly obviously a play on Hot Lips. Mostly white calico. Appointed deputy when cat!Potter becomes leader.

Frank: Ferretface. You have to, don't you? Brown with very faint colorpoints. He thinks this makes him better than everyone else. It does not.

Charles: Eagletail. While I wanted to do something with Silver- as a play on his silver spoon upbringing, I'm picturing him as huge, fluffy, and dark ginger, so I went with a bird that's considered noble. -tail because he'd get too much of an ego if he got a fancy suffix. Much like show Charles, he's thoroughly convinced he's too impressive to do any hunting/fighting.

Hawkeye: Hawkeye. The genesis of the idea. Slim brownish tabby with white paws. Excellent hunter but firmly refuses to fight.

Trapper: Juniperheart. (also provided by dante-wysteria!) A bit of a play on how gin is junipery. Light ginger and just barely tabby.

BJ: Brantjaw. Doing the best I can with very little to work with. There just aren't that many good B prefixes and J suffixes. Cream and white tabby with dark facial markings.

Mulcahy: Lilysong. The medicine cat! Lily- from show Mulcahy's flower garden, -song from his extraordinarily impassioned speeches to camp. Fantastically competent medicine cat. Cream and white tabby, potentially cat!BJ's littermate if we want to weave some of that in there. I am picturing him in a tiny panama hat.

Radar: Littleear. I feel like the name on this one explains itself. The medicine cat apprentice/secondary med cat. Tortoiseshell! Either because he's trans or because his color genetics are just weird. Has Visions, but isn't particularly competent with the healing side of being a medicine cat.

Klinger: Opalfeather. This one is by far the most of a stretch but I wanted to give him a fancy name. Come at me validwarriorcatsnames. Fluffy white cat. Horribly incompetent fighter, reasonably competent hunter, but exceptional at taking care of kits.

Deeply niche fandom servers are great because I just had a lengthy discussion on the basis of "Hawkeye is a valid warrior cats name, therefore, what would the rest of the MASH characters be called if they were cats"

Wizard City- Shopping District/ Elik’s Edge 

I just love Elik’s edge so much because i love the little Bart root and how it has it’s own little name in the shopping district, i just think it’s super cute and kinda underrated 

Krokatopia-  Upper Zigazag and Kemmbaalung Village 

I know this is kinda cheating because it’s not part of OG Krok but it’s so much prettier than anything old krok has going on, Frozen Lake is nice too but this one is so mm

This too even tho it’s technically part of Mooshu lololol

Marleybone- Barkingham Palace 

It’s a shame that this isn’t a part of Marylebone's main questline because good gosh it’s so pretty I love the walkway up to it and the fountains and the blimp it’s just so pretty and it reminds me of Pirate 

Mooshu- Jade Palace 

Jade Palace’s main area/ garden is the prettiest part of Wiz Mooshu and i really hope that Mooshu gets a visual update soon because look at Pirate Mooshu, like it still holds up and then Wiz Mooshu is so 

Wysteria- Arena Halls 

I do just think this area is so cute, like all of it not specifically this screencap but the whole arena is so nice and it reminds me of Valencia and i sob and scream i miss pirate so much 

Dragonspyre- Dragon’s roost

I LOVE SEEING THE DRAGON SO CLOSE i just think the mountain and the steep incline up to the end of arc one is so cool but honestly all of Dragonspyre popped off, for sure the best and most diverse looking arc 1 world 

Grizzleheim- Hrundle Fjord 

I think other than Northgaurd this is the prettiest part of Grizzleheim, i see water and rocks and lose my mind but honestly this part is so cute 

Wintertusk- Grandmother Raven’s perch 

GRANDMA!!!!!!!!! i just love the animation that plays before this and she has such a good design, I like other parts of  Wintertusk but  she's just so cute look at her its mom! 

Celestia-  District of Stars 

I remember going her on my death and looking around being like “I don't remember Celestia being pretty?” I just think that all the shapes are neat 

Zafaria -  Boabab crown

I love this tree gosh darn it, it’s just so cool it's a giant treehouse! 

Avalon- Crystal Caves and Lake Shore 

Avalon is one of those worlds where I cant really tell because Crystal Caves are so cool and the story we’re told in there is so MMMMM but also look at all the pretty colors of Lake Shore! 

Azteca- Floating Mountains 

My photography here is so bad but the floating mountains are pretty cool but in all honesty all of Azteca is really pretty it’s just everything about it is so 😐

Khrysalis- Moon Cliffs

I love Moon cliffs so much but again Khrys is one of those worlds where all of it is so MMMMMMMMMMMMMM to look at 

Polaris- River of Frozen Tears 

LOOK AT HOW PRETTY, i love the northern lights, i love the mountains, i love the snow, i love the Raven i love all of it and the ice makes me go zoom! \

Arcanum- Docking area 

I think this is a pretty obvious choice from me because of me being an Empyrea stan but also its just so darn perty and grand like its such a good area 

Mirage- Eerem Palace 

This place is gorgeous, i hated it here, but at least my eyes were happy, like look at the SKYYYEHAYHH

Empyrea <3- Aero Planes 

My windows95 baby, i love her so much, again the skybox is so good and Empyrea again is one of  those worlds where all of it is so delicious to look at but I just love how peaceful this area is 

Karamel- Von Trap Estate 

I know we shit on Karamel because it looks like Roblox but legit look at this, its SO PRETTYYYYAYHAAHAHHA 

Lemuria- Heap

I haven’t played through Lemuria yet but Heap is genuinely one of the coolest looking areas in all of Wizard101
