Fast forward to March of this .. uh, last year 2018 😯😅 . . Preparations for things like Modball always start early. Having had the experience of great power (=hot) confined in a small engine bay during the last rally, I needed to have some additional hot/cool air regulation. Not only to optimize performance, but also to prevent critical and expensive components from damage. One of the things was air vents in the hood and enhancing the airflow to the radiator. . . So mid 2017, and after lots of research and googling, I had set my mind on the bonnet from Romeo Ferraris. After contacting them directly, I could make a great deal 😀 And then the wait began 😕🙂😐😯😴 . . When it finally arrived we noticed that the standard airvents in the bonnet were, weirdly enough, actually not ment to be functional... 😳 It’s just closed off and topped with some chicken wire 🤦‍♀️ Luckily @customdreams could fix that and made it work with louvres, matching grid on top and a cover to protect the battery from incoming rain 🤙🤗 Matching in the sense that it matches the pattern of every grid on the car, like the new airintake in the front. Well ok, one more from 2017. From the category of things that ‘Can Go Wrong’ 😅 The list is long, and stress is just going skyhigh with deadlines approaching 🤯 . . Soon after she was finished @customdreams for the bodykit, it was rushing off to @12wrap_wewanttowrap to apply the stickers from Modball.
