Hand Drawn Custom Portraits

Portraits are a thoughtful gift for someone grieving the loss of a beloved fur baby. They also make wonderful gifts for a fellow dog lover. I spend a lot of time capturing the personality of your beloved pet, and draw them from photos you provide.

Myth: "I make $2,000 a month with my easy art side hustle. Watch my video to see how I do it!" Truth: I am a seasoned artist. I've had my side hustle for a little over a year now and I can tell you one thing—it's without a doubt THE single hardest, most time-consuming thing I've ever done. I don't want to say that the people making those videos are lying to you. But I feel like the people making those videos *might* be lying to you. Or, full of beans at the very least. Maybe they're making their money from the money their video clicks generate. I've also seen posts from people claiming to be uploading 100 designs a day or week or month. I know what I'm doing as a designer/artist and I can barely get one good design posted a week. So, unless they're using AI to generate their art or are just posting bad files, this just isn't happening. Why am I writing this post? Because you need to know that if you aren't getting views, clicks, purchases—whatever—it's not just you. It's hard. It's hard to break through. It's hard work to make good art. Don't look at those videos or read posts selling you a bag of magic beans. There's no shortcut. There's no easy way to make a jillion dollars. If you're happy with what you're creating, keep on keeping on and know that somewhere, someone is digging what you're doing. A little about me since I'm a Tumblr newbie:

I'm a Taiwanese American born and raised in California who always dreamed of being a professional artist.

After pursuing a career as a lawyer and then becoming a stay at home mom of two amazing boys, I discovered the art of toner foiling in May 2021. I drew and foiled my friends' pets and shared them on social media. It blew up into my first business!

Since then, I've expanded to digital paintings (mainly of cats and capybaras) and stickers.

I've also done a lot of charity work with my art:

- Raised $2k for Ukraine

- Fundraised $18k for rescue kitties including Wisp and Tater Tot

- Donated and displayed 18 foiled portraits of Queer Icons for the SF LGBT Center

- Painted a baseball base for the SF Giants' Pride Game
