I don't know baseball terms, much less Japanese baseball terms, but the caption under Whitley in the second pic is saying something about her throw having no control

Edit for clarification: Since Japanese doesn't use gendered 3rd person pronouns, Green is saying something along the lines of "It's because they keep closing their eyes while throwing, both 'this person' and 'that person'" and X is asking "Am I 'this person' or 'that person'?"

Some Lily Facts:

-Lily was a thief and a charlatan with a big mouth who was cursed to inhabit a ball jointed doll resembling her former human body. Her new form also has a pull string connected to a voice box in her chest. -made of Polyurethane resin, her body is rigid to the touch. -8.2 inches tall, at 1/6 the scale of her former size. -hair is a wig fitted to the cap of her head. Like her clothes, it can be removed. Hypothetically, Lily could be fitted with any wig for her size. -Her eyes are cabochons and she has make up / blushing on her body. -Inside she has two elastic cords: one stringing her body together and the other her arms. Through the magic of her curse she can move around much like a miniature human could. -Clothes have slits sewn into the back to allow her pullstring to be fed through. -Depending on setting, she can either pull her own string with some effort, or cannot reach it at all. -Depending on setting, she can either talk normally (with the pull string spreading her curse) or cannot speak at all *unless* someone pulls her string. -In either case, her voice now comes from the voice box in her chest, not from her mouth. -In cases where she cannot speak unless her string is pulled, her mouth never opens. -In all cases, she remains capable of facial expressions, sight, sound, and smell despite her face feeling rigid. -Lily has no sexual features. Sometimes, this is to her aggravation.

-In most cases, Lily requires regular attention as part of her curse. Whether it is as a punishment or a result of her not feeding her curse, Lily sometimes loses her motor functions and can even be rendered completely inanimate. Restoring Lily to "life" usually requires someone playing with her like a doll.

why am i awake? sometimes i have the luck of having another insomniac awake at the same time i am. anyway i’m unsure if i ever quite noted the immediacy of the placement/transition between sarah laughing and g-d going ‘oh a challenge? u think i can’t? i will!!’ and sarah getting afraid of It and lying to please It and g-d well….letting it go surprisingly politely but still needling her a little with ‘yes u did!’ and her not answering <—> g-d going ‘hm should i tell abraham what i’m doing…..🤔🤔’ ‘ohhhhh to any of you listening….! what if i…….destroyed sodom’ to abraham taking the challenge……it’s a completely united scene of g-d getting excited about sarah challenging It and her failing to challenge It further and g-d being disappointed and turning to bait abraham into challenging It and abraham doing so successfully …. i took out the rest of the chapter showing abraham arguing g-d down in steps of 5 until ‘i will not bring ruin, for the sake of 10’ bc it was long, but it was a struggle bc the sheer length of the back-and-forth is so…….idk u can imagine them getting closer and closer as abraham gets more and more into it. idk if any of you know a jewish guy who talks in a manner exactly like this, but i know multiple and the image is clear as crystal
